An interesting development.
That is what Satella would explain in simple terms.
Subaru was on his way to his Isekai dream.
Well.. that's what Satella thought.
She watched her champion's life in the shadows as she would soon bring him to the world.
But.. something interesting happened.
Subaru got into modern weaponry. These "Guns".
It was an overload of excitement to find out about guns for Subaru.
Even his father, who noticed it, realized it could be a way to bring him out of his depression.
And which, it did. It was one of the few things that made him happy.
Of course, he later got back into it with no plans to continue. But instead of watching anime and reading manga, he also read gun magazines that his father's grandpa had.
They were quite old, but it was a nice change of pace for Subaru.
Satella thought about it, then decided to invest on this herself, maybe giving her beloved more than just a world for himself.
And thus, when Subaru got transported to another world…
He has.. a menu.
"A menu? What kind of thing is this?"
Subaru knew about everything related to Isekai. But a menu? Maybe like a status menu.. sure. But this didn't show stats. This showed…
"Guns…?"
It was exactly that.
The menu in front of him was passed though and it has dates all the way back to the B.C of Earth.
Turns out, it was a menu of ranged weapons. From the first throwing spear and first bow and arrow to modern day miniguns, m4s and for some reason the future of humanity!? Which was Laser cannons and rifles!
This.. was.. amazing!
Subaru could actually be overpowered! In this world of swords and magic, he had modern weapons!
But, something was off.
All of this felt off. He knew he was the hero, but the weird number on each gun probably means he has to buy them.
Coins?
So it's like that one anime with the grocery store shop but with guns…
Uh huh… well.. I guess that's expected.
Subaru checks the prices on the future tech, which costs holy coins… lots of them.
Which was fine, Subaru likes modern then future anyway, but having that option was good.
Now, I guess another thing to get started with is this world. He must have been summoned but… with no one to greet him, he sighs. It's probably like one of those anime that drop him off in the middle of nowhere with no summoner.
Well, for now. He should probably explore this menu to its fullest, all the info here has these text boxes below.
Going on the classic M14. It was a carbine rifle.
The text box describes that this rifle was easily able to precisely pierce through skin as it was a rifle. But due to the time period of now, it still wasn't that good of an option against people wearing metal armor. Cloth on the other hand was easy, but with normal guards wearing at least metal helmets and chain metal torso armor, it would at least pierce or bounce off. Due to this, it's suggested that most guns should use armor piercing ammo for metal armor.
This info definitely confirmed the Isekai thing. However a small thought was this seems like a person wrote this…
Oh well, waving that thought away, he decides to swipe the menu away, which it disappears.
He remembers back to his old life and his parents
He remembers all the mangas and gun items he read.
He remembers school and was super into school.
He remembers mostly doing it to get people to like him.
He remembers a lot of the- Wait a second!
Subaru takes a second to think.
Why can he remember details so easily?
Wait… why can he remember science so much? Metal working… wood working… no way!
he remembers the courses he took for highschool.. while he put a lot of attention into the basics and the advanced stuff. That's it..
Subaru couldn't hide his smile.
"THIS TRULY IS A ISEKAI!"

Just wanted to get atleast something out as i been super inactive.
I plan to start writing more, but i wanted to get this teaser/chapter 1 of this new fic i was writing.
Unless there can be some better ideas for these (greatly appreciated if so as im not a good thinker) i want to atleast make subaru here powerful in the ways of weapons and being able to retract everything he remembers in high detail.
TL:DR Subaru x Guns x A very small dash of Eminece in the Shadow (doing what shadow does best)
This will be a serious fic but its testing a bit of the bounds of a guns fic.
That and NO ONE HAS MADE ONE TO MY KNOWLEDGE.
So, why not. Guns and a Fantasy world with magic. What could go wrong!
Anyways like i would normally say, reviews on what you think is what i need the most right now, if you have ANY and i mean ANY ideas you think could fit then please let me know. I want this to be good!
