Thought I'd give making a pirate Coby story again. See how far I'd go.

it's a nice sunny day in shells town. The sun is shining. The birds are singing. Ax hand Morgan is behind bars. Helmeppo is forced into the marines. Everything is going peacefully.

[town pub]

ahh~. Man. not eating anything for three weeks, I thought I'd be eating my boots said Zoro. I can't believe your already full, lightweight said Luffy still eating. How in the hell are you not full yet? Asked Zoro.

I always had a big appetite. But ever since I ate the gum gum fruit, my appetite grew bigger said Luffy still eating.

as Luffy keeps on eating. Zoro asks how many there are in the crew. To his surprise, it's just him and Luffy. He was more surprised to hear that they will be leaving by boat.

Coby on the other hand... he was thinking to himself.

(it's hard to believe it. Luffy is strong enough to face a marine captain, like ax hand Morgan. He did it again. He saved a life. He's saved me from the Alvida pirates. And now he saves a whole town, from a evil marine captain. He's so cool thought Coby).

Coby thinks to himself about the type of man he wants to be, seeing that there's evil in the marines.

(if I become a pirate with Luffy. Then I'll have a bounty on my head someday. Even if I do. I can't just watch as the marines have evil in their ranks. If this is how it should be... then so be it, I'll be a pirate with the man who'll be king thought Coby).

it's decided then said Coby as he walks to Luffy.

Luffy came Coby's voice to Luffy. Hmm? Asked Luffy.

I've been thinking. And... I'd like to help you... said Coby. With what? Asked Luffy confused.

to be king of the pirates said Coby.

you want to join my crew?, but why?. What about your dream to be a marine? Asked Luffy.

it's dead... died the day I saw that ax hand Morgan used his rank and power for evil... I don't think I can handle that... that's why, I ask, may I join you, on your journey to find one piece? Asked Coby.

hmm. Ok said Luffy with a smile.

thanks captain said Coby with a smile as well.

just like that the marines showed up.

hello, I'm marine Lieutenant Ripper. I have word you lot are pirates. Is that true? Asked Ripper.

yep. It's just me, Zoro and now Coby said Luffy.

I see. As thanks for saving us, we'll not report you to HQ. However your still pirates. So I ask you please leave said Ripper.

ok, let's go guys said Luffy as he gets up and walks out. Zoro follows. Coby stops to salute to Ripper.

may you be a better marine than Ax hand Morgan sir said Coby before leaving.

so what's the plan Luffy? Asked Coby. We head to the grand line of course said Luffy.

not to be rude Luffy. But we can't yet said Coby.

why not? Asked Luffy confused.

we need a map, a ship, supplies and of course, more crew members. If we don't have those things, then we are doomed said Coby.

kids right Luffy. We need a ship said Zoro.

hmm I guess we can look around a bit said Luffy.

great to hear captain Luffy said Coby.

so kid. What can you do? Asked Zoro.

I can fish and do some navigating said Coby. That's nice I guess, but what about in a fight? Asked Zoro.

I'm not much of a fighter vice captain said Coby.

in that case I guess I have to do it said Zoro. Do what? Asked Coby confused.

train you said Zoro. Huh? Asked Coby confused even more.

if your joining us, then the lest you can do is fight with us said Zoro.

what about Luffy?. Can't he just, teach me how to fight? Asked Coby a little fearful.

sorry Coby. I'm not much of a teacher said Luffy.

don't worry kid. By the time we make it in the grand line. I'd already made a man out of you said Zoro.

what did I just do with my life? Asked Coby to himself.

Sisisi. Look out world!. Here we come! Said Luffy to the world.
