Woo hoo, my first upload for nearly half a year! Not exact an achievement, but it's a step towards getting my groove back on. After this story is out I'll finish the final touches for the next chapters for Hunter From the Stars and Rampage of the Forgotten. The former is a newer fic that I have 90% of the second chapter written out while the later is roughly 80% despite having a year to work on it. Writer's block can be a massive pain in the ass, especially when you have the urge to write but not the way to do it properly. Once this is out on FF I'm gonna be heading to bed and will post on AO3 after I get done tending to the horses tomorrow morning. So feel free to follow and comment on whichever site is your preference.

Probably the first and only Re:Zero and Godzilla crossover fic as far as I know and now I've written it out for you all to enjoy. Will probably just be a one shot since it's really just the concept and not something I will dedicate into making a story for. However feel free if you wish to adopt the concept and add to it or write a spin off, I'm always down for more crossover fics of franchises I love.

Music recommendations for this story is the Monster Zero Suite on YouTube, it's a compilation of the Bear McCreary King Ghidorah themes from Godzilla: King of the Monsters, plus it's got the Legendary version of the roar as it's intro. You can also use Terror of King Ghidorah or Ghidorah, the Three Headed Monster from Akira Ifukube's discography. All tracks have their distinctions and moods to set while reading the chapter.

Read on and enjoy, tell me what you all think!!!

Across the oceans of space sat a bizarre sight, a world teeming with life that was not spherical in shape but rather that of a rectangular nature.

With life only existing on one side facing the nearest sun, it was an oddity in how it maintained its atmosphere and the other the vast amounts of water that fell from its four edges to the vast abyss of space around it. Curiously enough the water never seemed to lower in level no matter how much flowed away from the platform world.

On this platform world there were a total of four countries, each one different and unique in their hierarchy and the cultures that took part in them.

It was a normal day in the Capital City of Lagunica: the eastern most country and friend of the Holy Dragon Volcanica, and it's citizens went about their daily lives shopping, meeting people and just taking part of the routine called Life. Inside the Royal castle, four of the Royal Candidates have just been given their insignias, items that would show that they were the preferred potential rulers for the country in light of the Royal Family's demise. Meanwhile another unknown and final Maiden was currently accepting a job from a client to steal one such Insignia, unknown to her how doing so would catapult her into the race by intervention of a powerful and well known figure tasked with finding the final Candidate. Outside and around the castle, the Royal Knights of the country mostly patrolled the upper parts of the city rather than all of it, choosing to stay away from the poorer and more dangerous slum areas in the outskirts of the city although their duty implied that they should.

In the large market section of the city Merchants sell their valuables to eager customers, as children of high status go to schools to further their education. Gangs of common ruffians battle for control of city sections in secret through backdoor dealings and backstabbing, while other lower level solo thieves try to keep out of sight from patrolling Knights and keeping tabs on potential targets to mug and profit off of. Regular civilians, tourists and locals alike all carry out their assignments or leisurely enjoy the atmosphere around them. Children of the lower districts played in groups while those considered of higher birth were being schooled by private tutors on the etiquette of Nobility. All is well and normal with the world for all they care.

But it isn't meant to be, because of the imminent arrival of the Golden Star.

One person happens to look towards the sky, a silver haired merchant who has just successfully sold all of his current wares for a rather hefty sum, bringing himself out from what would have been assuredly a crippling and near inescapable debt. The sky which was bright and sunny but a moment ago seems to have chosen to change it's form, clouds that were once sparse seem to be multiplying and growing in size oddly enough. More people begin to notice the abrupt change in the weather and some look to the skies to see if they could predict a sudden storm. The merchant, a young man named Otto Suwen then notice a bright circle far away like a pin in the sky that seems to grow ever so brighter and larger, as if coming closer. The clouds begin to gather more, almost being forced to come together to begin the making of a storm.

Many people in and around the Capital also seem to notice the strange change in weather when the sky was so clear but a few minutes prior, and some see the man who first spotted the odd light and look to see what he gazes at. Their curiosity peaked, they too see the bright star that seems to grow brighter and larger, especially more so since the sky has begun to darken as the once minimal amount of clouds now has the status of a great storm, possibly even a terrible hurricane in the making from the speed the winds begun to gain. The sky grows more violent and the storms begins to shower and splatter the lands below with heavy rain, and soon enough other countries begin to notice the odd weather beginning in their respective territories. The citizens there also notice the ever falling star and wonder if this is perhaps connected to the strange phenomenon that is suddenly plaguing them.

The star grows so close that it seems as if it is made of fire, and it appears to be many many miles wide. Panic erupts as most begun to fear the object crashing into the capital, and with it's size it is clear that there would be very few if any survivors. Those in countries close to Lagunica watch as the bright star draws closer and closer to the actual sky from the heavens above. People rush to escape, knocking one another to the ground and stepping right over each other while knights desperately try to keep order and safely evacuate when a sudden loud sonic boom heard across the world cause all to stop, followed by a daunting silence. Even the Sword Saint, known as the strongest living being of this world finds himself stunned and unsure at the sight far above the city he resided in, with rising unease and tension filling his body more than He has ever experienced. At his waist the dragon sword Reid that he had inherited through his status as Sword Saint practically screamed to be drawn. The sensation of such urgency making the hairs on his neck stand as the most powerful weapon in the world aside from himself senses an approaching disaster from such a distance.

The silence lingers on, and the panicked citizens of the Capital find themselves holding their breathe with a deathly stillness. From Knights to thieves, Nobles to slum dwellers, Royal Candidates and the ordinary folk. None dare move or speak. For the very first time in it's creation the Capital is in complete silence. No one expects for the next mysterious and chilling sound to occur but when it does, only an ocean of fear fills their hearts with terror.

"SCREEEEEEEEEEEBIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

.

A terrible High pitched roar echoed into the ears of every living being of this flat world, from the lowliest ant to the Witch of Vainglory. The Mad Prince of the northern country heard it, the Admirer of Kararagi as well the Great Spirit of Murder in the Western City states heard it. In the southern empire the Divine Generals and the Emperor himself heard the blood chilling shriek that echoed in all their ears. Even the Dreaded Witch of Envy Satella herself hears it as well from within her seal and the Holy Dragon Volcanica himself heard the call of Death in his slumber stop the Pleiades Tower, waking him as if he were startled from an intruder. The sound made even the Great Dragon refered to as a God by an entire country shiver uncontrollably in tension as He could feel the nature of that roar. It wasn't a sound native to anything natural to this world, or even a great deal of other worlds. It was a song that promised terror and suffering, a ballad of destruction and loss and pain tenfold to any one would have previously experienced.

But unknown to Volcanica this sound had been heard on countless worlds by many peoples of various civilizations that didn't exist anymore. Because those worlds that did hear this terrible sound no longer held any kind of life. Not that He could have possibly known this, but the roar had painted a terrifying image of just what remained wherever this sound has visited before. They were barren wastelands of desert and dried blood, covered in ash and decay from all that once roamed them. There was no vegetation, no animals, no thinking forms of life. Nothing to show civilization or societies that might have been prospering, or that it had occured at all.

It was the sound of Death.

For the first time in centuries, the Divine Dragon felt the overbearing need to prevent a world ending disaster. And so with little effort Volcanica left the tower and began to follow the path westward where the star that declared Death would arrive. It appeared to be arriving in what He recalls as the Capital of the Dragon Friend country, and since it appears to originate from the stars themselves it meant He would have to intervene. That was the agreement He and the Lion King agreed to so many centuries ago, and he would honor that contract while he still drew breathe. However as he flew from the Watchtower, the mighty Dragon that helped seal the Great Calamity felt an extreme sense of unease.

He hadn't even detected this invader until He heard the great call that echoed still in his mind, and that greatly bothered him. He had been aware of the Black Dragon that the Vollachian Archbishop of Pride attempted to attack Lagunica with decades ago, as well as the Jealous Witch's rampage so many centuries ago. But as he flew forward Volcanica noticed the bizarre and violent weather patterns occuring around him, and since they seemed to begin when this strange arrival came to his attention, He began to draw a line between the two. For a Being to change the very weather of the world around them, even from such a great distance away brought more and more caution to the Great Dragon's mind.

Volcanica could only hope that He would be able to stop it, seeing as the Sage was still absent while his apprentice still diligently guarded the Tower. Although Her assistance would have been welcome because of her own immense power, He knew that she was bound by the contract to the Watchtower. And regrettably He still had no contact with the Sword Saint of this generation to assess their power. He truly prayed that they would be adequate enough for the Great Trial ahead of them all.

But it was a trial that could never be overcome.

.

In the Capital and it's surrounding areas a great panic was taking place. Of course the entire world has heard the unbelievably loud sound, but those in the direct path of the cause of such a call were more rabid and fear strikes than anyone in any other nation. From the sky a shape began to become clear as it seemed to slow before reaching the clouds. All stared at this being as it descended from the void above this world with little regards to the laws of gravity itself. It's form wasn't that of fire as they initially thought, nor was it a star of any kind. The sight that beheld them all was one that would never be forgotten, nor remembered since many, many people would find their lives ended on this day.

It was a living creature, as impossible as that seemed to nearly all of those watching as it came closer and closer towards the Capital of Lagunica.

Although it's appearance was unlike any other of its kind in this world, the being descending from the stars was clearly a massive Dragon that flew towards them with clear direction At first many foolishly thought this may have been the mighty Volcanica himself finally arising to bring about a new age, but those hopes quickly died down when they saw this dragon wasn't black and blue, but instead a bright and defined Gold. A shade of Gold which shimmered despite the sun being covered in the full blown hurricanes having taken shape across the world, as if it seemed to flow from within due to some great source of power. Because of the shine and grandeur of the Golden Dragon as it continued with it's descent, those who could see it clearly being the closest could make out more features, especially one very important distinction that separated this entity from their God.

The Golden Dragon had Three serpentine heads on long necks crowned with horns that scoured the lands below itself. It held no arms aside from the massive wings that flapped up and down seemingly without care for gravity, Two tails ending with spiked maces trailing behind the draconic body, their intended use clearly for battle and destruction rather than mating rituals or for something as mundane as simple aesthetics. Burning red and gold eyes that surveyed all the destruction it had caused by landing on this backwater world, one much smaller and unusually shaped than it's usually conquests. Scowls of disdain and disgust equal on all of the draconic faces, though each showing their own individual traits. The right head on its body glaring with an even greater ferocity than it's fellows gnashing and snarling while the left held a inquisitive gleam of cruelty as it did the most observing of the three, forked tongue curling in anticipation of the destruction to come. The center and highest head held itself above everything including it's brothers, surveying the land all around it to capture the pristine scenery in its memory slowing being battered by their storms before it's unavoidable fate to be utterly razed into the very ground beneath them.

A faint hum could be felt to anyone in the Capital, of energy flowing and charging throughout the air around the invader. It made the hairs stand on end of every living thing in its vicinity, and those with scales or shell felt their forms shudder and shake from the spasms their muscles were giving in response to the energy. And that's when that sound was made once again, that terrible wailing cackle that held more Malicious Evil and hatred than any Sin Archbishop or Witch ever could hope to being here mortals. That sound which promised death and suffering, that held dominion over everything even if there was nothing left to rule. The cry that all three heads regardless of their individual nature called out with in perfect synchronization to declare to this world that it's destruction has arrived.

"SSSSSSCCCCCRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEBIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDIDDIDIDIDIDIDIDI!!!!!!!"

Screams erupted immediately from everywhere around it, the lesser pests already realizing their worthless and short lives were now at an end. These sounds were euphoric to it, even if the ones making such a racket were far too small to truly fill their ears with the symphonies of Doom and destruction. With the ground within landing distance the Great Dragon dropped it's lower legs and tails to land successfully before slowing it's wings to steady itself. The sheer impact of the beast's gargantuan form connecting with the ground below sent earth, stone and living creature alike tumbling back in every direction with the force of a bomb. Just landing had not only squashed and killed dozens underneath their massive clawed feet but sent countless hundreds into each other, the rough stone structures that were either decimated by the force or barely standing to serve as makeshift pillars of pain as flesh slapped and slammed against them. The resulting dust and dirt clouds created by the landing nearly blinded everyone within range, but unfortunately the only sight that broke through the veil which robbed many of their sight was the luminous and otherworldly shine of the Invader's body.

Ghidorah, that was the name it had known since it's earliest memories of existence. It had gained many others throughout it's reign of terror, but Ghidorah was it's first and foremost name. It's three heads all searched in a perfect 360 fashion around itself for the very life They had come to exterminate.

It saw and felt the flashes of several elements attempt to strike at it from far below, leading their left head to lower and observe it's attackers. Two legged humanoids, not insect like with many limbs or an exoskeleton divided into three sections. Interesting, but only as far as Ghidorah learning what species seemed most common in this unusually shaped world. It saw other variants as well, these resembling animals but somehow still keeping upright light their ape counterparts. It was a mixture of both subspecies that was attacking it, the majority being clad in metal armor or long robes that clothed their forms from being fully seen. They appeared to be using some form of energy conversion to create other elements aside from the one that their created naturally: lightning.

Ghidorah had never seen such abilities before, no species was able to simply convert external energy into another without consuming and intaking it like they did with the nuclear energy of suns. These little insects were somehow able to create blades of wind, fire from thin air without a spark, and ice crystals without substantially changing the temperature of the environment around them. It was truly intriguing...

But in the end, it was for naught all the same.

The ice that approached was melted by their heat, not event water vapor splashing against their golden body, the wind blades that flew towards them found themselves repelled and dismissed by the storms that only grew from its epicenter. The earth did nothing to rise against them, becoming dirt and sand once more without guide after clashing against their immovable form. Even the purple crystals that minutely drew their curiosity shattered against their scales, not leaving even a scratch. None of these attacks would do anything to their form, which had survived the crushing cold of the stars and triumphed against far greater attacks from far more glorious foes.

Still insignificant compared to themselves, but more worthwhile to destroy than these simple pests.

The Nightmare of the Void, the Eater of Worlds, the Destroyer of Societies, Slayer of Gods, The Golden Wings of Demise, it had countless titles. So many from countless eons of drifting through the vast emptiness of space, occasionally feasting on nearby stars for their rich nuclear energy and finding the orbiting planets with life on them, only to exterminate whatever Life it would find there. However none of these titles were ever able to pass on to other civilizations, because the Great Dragon would ensure that whatever world it left, there was no life left to persevere and spread. There would be nothing, and that was exactly it's reason for being. Not to reproduce, nor to flourish with other species. No, there was one singular goal that drove such a being nearly as old as time itself: Emptiness.

And so with a gleeful cackle Grand King Ghidorah had found a new world to destroy, and began it's dark work with the build up of bright burning energy within itself to seen began to appear in its necks and chest.

The insects began to scream, and Ghidorah could only cackle that dreadful cackle and burn everything around it.

.

3 days had passed since the arrival of the Devil that fell from the stars.

High above the broken and utterly decimated ground of what was once known as the Capital City of Lagunica, the Sky itself seemed to rage with both storms and the sounds of battle. Winds that no mortal man could stand against blew everything away in a destructive maelstrom, while heavy rains doused the soil and stone alike in enough moisture to cause great floods if left to gather. The soil and flora of all types were burning, the raging winds and water doing nothing to douse the burning embers set ablaze from the energy that had struck them. Gold lightning encompassing the land as far as the eye could see burned and destroyed anything that it struck, the sheer heat and intensity of the energy far beyond what normal lightning was capable of. The bright flashes of yellow occasionally outlined a great beast, far larger than anything in this world had any right to be, it's three heads shifting and scouring the changing lands below it. The lightning strikes that came from it's body had long ago melted the ice that once briefly bloomed during the appearance of a Great furry Beast, one much, much smaller than the Destroyer itself but just as ferocious in it's determination to kill it's opponent.

It hadn't lasted very long in a battle, seeming to burn and freeze itself away to try and recover from their attacks until one good strike from all three of the Dragon's heads at once felled the Great Spirit known as the Beast of the End forever. It's sole reason for living and destroying the world around it had long since perished, and with the final burst of burning light which evaporated it's Od, the being once called Puck was no more. He only hoped that he would be reunited with his Lia in the afterlife once the Od Laguna dealt with the one that was the death of himself.

The one Ghidorah had discovered to be a regarded as a "Divine Dragon" through the minds and memories of its victims had lasted longer, battling with it's much larger Kin for a full day and a half before finally being struck down as well. The Great Destroyer's left head had found it's amusement peaked when the smaller whelp's cleansing breathe attack did little to nothing to his great golden scales, while it's right head scoffed audibly at the audacity of this weakling being declared as a deity to any of these vermin. The central Head of King Ghidorah had cackled as the energy his glorious body created passively began to surge and burst forth into a continuous stream from all three heads, neither of the minds inside even thinking to show an ounce of mercy to the one that had challenges it's might.

Volcanica's body had never been damaged to such an extent, the destroyed nerves and sections of his body hit by the Golden Devil's lightning refusing to regenerate or respond to his mind slowing him down enough to be snatched from the air itself. This foe, this monster, this Devil had done far worse damage to himself than even the Jealous Witch or the Stick Swinger Reid had in their first encounter. Nothing the Divine Dragon did left any lasting damage to his enemy's body, after seeing a set of scratches He'd gouged into the Golden Dragon's body healing right before his very eyes. There wasn't any evidence that the World Ending Beast had even been harmed, and that fruitless attack was returned by a burning energy Volcanica could only identify as some sort of Lightning sending his nerves to nearly be damaged beyond repair. A single strike of the unimaginable energy had nearly fell him right then and there, and a follow up attack would've assured his death but to the Divine Dragon's fortune the current Sword Saint managed to land a blow that caused a great deal of damage to the multi headed Devil. Damage that made the Golden Beast shriek and screech in furious indignation while such wounds were healed with flesh rising like mud flowing from between the space of cobblestones to repair any injury that it received. After being given the brief respite to recover, Volcanica had rejoined the fight, launching ranged attacks while Reinhardt would attack up close with the sword passed down by Reid.

The strategy had been sound, and the situation had escalated even further when the Beast of the End had joined the fight in the first hour of the first day of the Devil's arrival. Though the Great Spirit of Fire hadn't been fighting due to some selfless motivation, it's attacks served as an additional distraction for Reinhardt and Volcanica to coordinate their strikes. But when Puck had finally exhausted himself and burned through his Od for one final attack as the Invader stood unharmed, Volcanica had felt his spirits plummet somewhat. After that the fight has solely been fought against the Invader by himself and the Sword Saint, which although it was now a harder fight, it was still feasible untill until the later took a full force blow from one of the clubbed tails. Volcanica's eyes widened at the sheer power of the attack that with a sonic boom sent Reinhardt far off to the west with such force that He nearly reached the Great Waterfall at the edge of the world. Then the wrath of the Golden Dragon had turned to lay solely on His shoulders, with no room or breaks in the fight since the Divine Dragon now had no allies to help him.

Volcanica didn't believe that the Sword Saint had perished, but he was too far away to provide support, meaning Volcanica would have to stall for time in order to receive back up. He could not expect any human or Demihuman species to adequately help him battle this monster, and his only other ally Shaula would not leave the tower under any circumstance because of her oath.

Therefore, He was effectively alone in this fight.

The battle had turned into a very deadly game of tag, with both draconic entities sending attacks from their mouths or slashing with their claws at one another before conical teeth would try to render flesh useless to each other. The Golden Dragon received more than it's fair share of damage, but it merely repaired any wounds while simultaneously striking and lashing out with each of its many heads. The Blue and Black Divine Dragon had no healing ability with such a degree of efficiency, and was forced to fight with the utmost of caution and agility. One good attack from this larger enemy would tear him to shreds like a Wolfgarm would a small child, and this meant Volcanica had to rely on instinct more so than actual tactical planning. Unfortunately his centuries old age as well as the drastic reduction of his mental capacities after the Great Calamity has taken it's toll on the Divine Dragon, and so when the center head managed to snag him up, there was little he could hope to do about it.

His body now knew only great pain as it was held in the maw of the invader, before it felt the remaining two also clamp on to his broken and battered form before all he felt was a bliss of nothing as his body was ripped asunder and tossed to the scorched earth below the Monster from the Stars. With a dread inducing Ghidorah announced to the world that yet another of its champions, one of it's greatest defenders were now dead, and that soon the rest would join him into blissful nothingness.

.

Ghidorah had slain both the Great Spirit of Fire and the Divine Dragon himself within two days, and none of the other insects below had to able to harm him in any way, much less challenge Him. Their armors and flesh could not withstand his burning light, and none of their attacks scratched him, not that many below still barely alive even tried to attack themselves now that their "deity" had been torn apart and discarded like trash. He hadn't sensed any other beings like the smaller whelp or furred one approach himself yet, but there were some vaguely interesting life forms that they could detect far away on this platform that slowly made their way to themselves.

'Let them come.' The unified minds of the Golden Wings of Demise thought. 'Let them face death without haste and fade from existence once this pest is dealt with.'

None but One currently still challenged the Golden Dragon.

One that had struck first before the smaller Dragon and Furred one intervened, an miniscule ape with red hair and a white form that wielded a blade that managed to pierce their hide after the other vermin had already perished. That had given the Dragon the incentive to actively focus their attacks on this pest, but their united assault had been interrupted by the arrival of the other two challengers. They coordinated with the smaller one, or at least the scaled one did mostly, the other didn't seem to acknowledge either of their presences and focused only on trying to bring down the temperature around and inside the Great Destroyer's body.

Against it now stood only the human sized figure, who would occasionally clash with the Beast in great flashes of sound and energy that it would brighten the land around them and shift the weather in that area temporarily. The great booms of compressed energy would cause great earthquakes and portions of the land to become airborne before returning to their origin because of gravity's influence. These clashes of strength spared nothing from their path, air water and earth all were destroyed when hit by the great force.

In the beginning Ghidorah had found amusement in seeing the greatest efforts to stop it's goal being a mere 3 insects not even comparable in size to itself.

The Destroyer of Worlds found it's miniscule patience wearing very thin by this point.

SLASH!

"SKREEEEBIDIDIDI!!!!!"

Ghidorah gave another angered shriek of pain as another deep gouge was carved into their chest by the red ape, which began to heal as the Great Dragon flapped it's wings as if taking flight and stirred up the winds directly around it's body to the highest than hurricane levels to banish their attacker for a few moments. It worked as desired but they knew that such an act wouldn't deter their for for very long, they were quite tenacious for such a small bug. All three heads snarled in sync as the damage was repaired and they decided to take to the skies, their personal domain. From their they could bombard this stubborn bug until there was nothing left of them!

They could feel however a great drain of energy from the surrounding area flowing to one specific point, and prepared themselves for yet another wave of power to strike them.

As the Dragon rose to sit in the clouds that had descended from the atmosphere at their body's request a large burst of burning blue and white energy hotter than fire was sent forth from the ground where they'd last seen the ape. Ceasing their wing's movement for but a moment allowed their enormous mass to be influenced by gravity and pull them down and away from the horizontal slash that would've landed a number of successful hits across their entire upper torso and necks. Returning their arms to use, the winds generated from the sudden burst of movement sent a nasty series of rapidly formed tornadoes in all directions, including where the red ape attacked from.

Said tornados did not reach the Sword Saint, as he made use of every Divine protection available to him to prevent himself from getting caught up in the artificially generated disasters and swung Reid once more after gathering large amounts of mana from the surrounding area, normally something that he would not be able to do. With the lack of human or animal life anywhere nearby for over 3 miles Reinhardt was more than free to unleash his own fury against the Golden Star that brought such calamity, Calamity he daresay might be worse than even the Witch herself.

Reinhardt once again found himself about to be struck by the lightning like energy and prepared himself to take the brunt of it when something very odd happened. The energy was fired by all three heads struck his body dead center, but rather than burning and searing his form like the other strikes from their days old battle these beams only seemed to cause him to not be able move his body. All of a sudden it felt as if great weights were holding every square inch of himself, and this feeling sent warnings and danger to his mind as he was still able to see his opponent despite the blinding light of energy binding him in place. The Great Dragon's mouths were all still open and the lightnings coming from them didn't appear to be ending, rather it was being used like some sort of chain to hold him still. Was this yet another power of the beast that it knew it could perform?!

Ghidorah had come to the conclusion that if their beams did not burn and vaporize the red haired lest as they should, then perhaps another method was needed so they could continue their destruction. Deciding to use the other use of their gravity beams and have the attack live up to its title, all three heads kept their fire of the self made energy constant and fine tuned it to not dissipate or destroy whatever it were to touch. When the heads rose up so did the ape now trapped in their clutches, their little toy completely following the movement of the beams origin like a moon orbiting a normal planet and not this platform they currently stand on.

With a great amount of force all three heads whipped forth and released their beams, sending the Sword Saint away once more. But unlike before the lack of gravity around his body meant he would fly farther and farther, until all he saw was black and stars.

.

The Destroyer of Worlds found itself watching utter baffled as a small furry creature not even the size of their pupil approached without fear or hesitation in it's movements. Ichigo as well as San were unable to comprehend how something less than the size of a mite to them somehow held such energy in it's being. No didn't really care but as he took detected the signature he could only exhibit caution by preparing for a sneak attack. Ghidorah doubted that something so small would prove to be actually dangerous to them, although it could be like the other Furred creature that controlled temperature. It too had suddenly appeared before them, which meant it might have been too small for them to notice upon their arrival.

Rather than growing in size like the other one, the annoying vermin began to multiply much to their shared confusion. First one then two then four and then eight within a matter of seconds seemingly with no set limit as each of the small furry creatures began number in the dozen is just a few breathes of this worlds oxygen. And then the sudden and still growing army of creatures began to try and attempt fighting them by swarming over their body from the feet up. 'Well this was a first.' Ichi, the center head thought as he curiously watched as the little mammals did so like cells rather than actually birthing one another in a traditional sense. They had been to countless worlds with large civilizations or species with great numbers, but none that could replicate themselves in an instant. San, the left head of it's form lowered his head to closer inspect these new beings and saw much to his shock that they were attempting to bite them, although Ghidorah could not feel an ounce of pain. The small teeth of these creatures might have been troublesome to lesser beings without such an impenetrable hide, but to Ghidorah it might as well have been air brushing against their scales. The information was instantly related to the other two heads, both via the nerve connections of their shared brains as well as the telepathy all three of their heads shared. Ichi did not care for He was searching the horizon for the arrival of another challenger while San was disgusted by the audacity of these cretins to dare try and attack their form with such a pathetic method.

Ghidorah collectively found itself simultaneously confused, angered and amused by the sheer stupidity of these little mites. Did they really think they could even nibble on their glorious form? The greatest this pathetic platform had to offer in defense of itself was that red haired ape who barely offered a lasting scratch to their body before he was cast away and their form was once more perfect, a testament to their regenerative ability. What chance did these little things that shattered their teeth attempting to bite their scales believe they had?

San began to feel his agitation grow as more and more of the fluffy creatures appeared all over their forms, some quite close to his eyes. A few foolishly made their way into the edge of his eyelid before leaking directly onto his sensory organs and trying to eat from there. One managed to take a miniscule nip from his right eye which caused the Great Dragon to blink and hiss in annoyance, crushing the offender and any others nearby that attempted to share in the behavior. San could also feel several of the mites enter their massive nostrils and try their luck inside, which proved to only irritate the eons old reptile who felt a sudden urge to sneeze and expell the little cretins. That's when Ghidorah collectively decided that they'd had enough of this distraction, and with a humming sensation coursing through their body, the Golden Dragon charged the very same energy it expelled from its maws. Rather than discharge it through their mouths they chose to run the current of lightning throughout their body, and in an instant all of the rodents covering their massive body were vaporized in a violent burst of dust and electricity.

The inhabitants of this world were not aware that the lighting they experience normally is easily 5 times hotter than the surface of the sun that heats their world and various others. However, Ghidorah's lightning was far deadlier due to His alien biology effectively making him a nuclear reactor, and since He also fed on the energy of various stars, it meant that they were casually creating and using energy far beyond anything of this world's capabilities to even imagine. All of this however was completely incomprehensible to the Great Rabbit as it felt immense pain for a mere blink of an eye before it felt nothing more, as their bodies quite literally explode into ash faster than it could replicate itself.

Ghidorah collectively shook it's form from the remaining matter from the Great Mabeast and felt the approach of yet another challenger.

It's approach was slow, as if takings it's own time. Did it have some sort of self assurance in its capabilities for daring to approach Them so casually? Did it really believe it would stand any sort of chance against their might? They who had destroyed everything they came across without exception and brought terror and death to everywhere in the known universe?

Ghidorah decided it would stay in this spot and await it's next victim. There was no actual need for it to do anything, after all it's storms would still rage on even if they did not take active participation for a short time.

Gods did not have anything to fear after all.

.

It was about 2 days later when the next challenger finally appeared, and Ghidorah found itself vastly underwhelmed and it's patience tested when it saw that the one whose energy signature they detected was of the same size as the red haired ape that struck them so deeply with that mysterious blade. However behind him a distance away a trio of similar looking apes following like mindless drones in the direction of the white ape towards themselves. Perhaps this new foe was some sort of a leader to these even lesser ones with no power? Ghidorah snorted at the idea. Leadership required the cooperation of lesser beings whether through force or mutual benefit. Neither of which was something Ghidorah wanted or needed. They needed no servants, nor followers. Only death.

Like the red haired ape from before this one who approached also was a member of that insect species called humans rather than those others that resembled beasts more. He didn't appear to carry a weapon like the other, but the main difference between the red haired ape and this one was that this being was pale and covered in white clothing, looking completely pristine despite the turbulent weather conditions around him. It appeared to be angered, rapidly speaking at themselves though from the height difference the words it didn't quite reach the Dragons massive ears as it stared unimpressed down at this newcomer. But even if they could hear the miniscule pest's words it wasn't as if the Destroyer of Worlds cared, and Ni decided he'd heard enough of the noises and fired a bolt of his gravity beams at the man.

But much to their surprise as the dust cleared and the tiny ramblings could still be heard, Ni saw that the vermin was untouched! In fact it almost appeared as if he had aimed wrong and missed entirely, but the prideful arrogance within him told him he had definitely stuck true. This was unexpected, nothing this size had ever withstood gravity beams. Yes, the red ape had been struck by their beams quite a few times and kept fighting after a few moments but that had been determined to be an anomaly possible due to its blade and so Ghidorah did not think much of it once they were dead. Or well, they assumed the red ape was dead. After being bashed by their clubbed tails far into the distance and reappearing unscathed, the gravity beams had been their way of banishing the ape altogether into the void of space at the end of this plane of land. They had yet to reappear, which meant they were either nearly or completely knocked off the very edge of this world, or more than likely outright dead. Any of the three possibilities were more than fine, after all Ghidorah has yet to meet an enemy they could not kill permanently. Some were simply tougher than others, but only They were truly immortal.

Ni watched with cautious curiosity that with a wave of his hand the white ape picked up and scattered a handful of dirt away from itself as if it were something useful. The next moment however He felt a flash of pain in multiple areas of his body, and with his brothers Ichi and San all shrieked at the unexpected pain. All three heads scanned over their form and saw holes and gouges of varying sizes now littering their glorious golden physique. The damage immediately began to heal, but the startling observation that Ichi made was that the holes and gouges went completely through their body rather than showing signs of projectiles slowing and lodging themselves in their flesh to be expunged later. Whatever had struck them had done something no other weapon or energy had done before, and that was to ignore their body's durability.

Their body had suffered great damage while the pest's hadn't, but how?!

It did not matter.

This insect had dared to harm them!

It must be made to suffer!

The manner of which it did so was unknown, but Ghidorah found itself insulted to have been harmed by such a small creature. Hissing loudly as it stared now in hatred Ghidorah once more charged up it's gravity beams and all three heads fired at once upon the white haired ape.

Ichi ceased his beam first and snarled while He rose his head highest, and attempted to use their telepathy to try and invade the mind of this abhorrent ape. Ghidorah may not possess the same sort of vocal cords as these pond scum, but their evolution had made such requirements naught. It hadn't felt the need to since coming to this world, but occasionally like on other conquests there would be some that it would take sadistic pleasure in psychologically torturing the stronger of it's foes. Breaking their spirits and will to survive down and reveling in their anguish as they realize nothing they can do will bring Them down.

Ichi's mind invaded the white haired ape, learning and uncaring that it was called Regulas Corneas in the primitive tongue of this backwater world. Whether the Archbishop was aware of the invasion or not was of no concern to the Great Destroyer, but what was is to determine the method behind which this insect survived their power. Whatever it was is unacceptable. None should be able to stand against them. They were the constant of this universe, bringing death, destruction and silence to the chaos of life. Yes they may bring Chaos wherever they go but it was to silence Chaos in the end.

What was the secret?

How did it survive?

Why did it survive?

Witch Factor? Was this the power it sensed? The one that repelled their energy?

Greed? Why would an emotion or way of thought hold significance with a power? One was strong or one was not. Having feelings about either state was irrelevant.

Time? Heart? Time flowed, that was all. Never backward, never still. Only forward. Infinite and yet possibly finite. The heart was an organ that was vital to the body, all needed it in some form. Whether it was a core or a heart, all life had a center that could not be damaged and survive.

Wives, mates? Why would that matter? Mates did not make another strong. They exist only to spread and grow the species. Unless energy was absorbed by some means from them, then how could they make another stronger?

Stopping time... of the heart? Removing the Heart and placing in... another? A second heart in the mates? One that wasn't there previously and that could be placed after full maturation and growth... How was such a thing possible? It couldn't be, something like that was absurd. All beings needed a heart, some even possessed multiple hearts, like themselves for example. Their large body required greater effort to function, but something smaller shouldn't need another heart, much less the heart of another. Organs could not be placed in another in such a fashion, not for one so vital for survival. What would happen to the originator aside from death if their heart was removed?

But time... This one could manipulate it's own time? Such a idea was baffling, but if that was somehow related to why this insect survived still then it would prove further until it understood.

Time of the heart was stopped... never moving forward or backward... staying perfect and without change. No decay, no growth... meaning no change to the rest of the body. So if something unchanging were removed but it still held a connection... But what body would hold such a vital connection to this- Wait...

The Wives. They were the vessels that contained the stopped time.

Ghidorah stretched their senses out and found again the life signatures of other beings, though nowhere near like this Regulas or any of the other they'd fought. They numbered only to a measley 3 and all were female at that, but one of them did hold another secondary signature of enemy that was nearly identical but not as powerful as the white ape, which nearly made Ghidorah overlook it's presence.

So they somehow possessed this insect's "heart"? What a curious but worthless ability. What good was storing a vital organ in another much weaker individual when your enemy was more than content with wiping out all in its path including the secret to one's own power? Such foolishness would only be rewarded with Death.

Ni sent a glancing strike towards the trio of female apes and vaporized them instantly, which angered their true target even more and forced them to retaliate with stomping on the ground and scattering dirt towards them. Like the previous attack they received, the ordinary and completely plain dirt became much more powerful both speed and strength wise as it blindingly tore into their body with an unstoppable amount of force. Like the previous attack Ghidorah's body began to regenerate though this time at an accelerated pace since they put more focus into doing so rather than let their body passively do so. In less than 10 seconds the injuries were no more, and with that resolved they now eyed the cause of their injuries to see if their strategy had worked as they theorized.

Much to their glee the pure white ape now carried injury to itself, although nothing more significant than scorched and tattered clothing and some burn marks on their skin, but the Hydra's heads all found their scaled lips curving upward in a malicious sneer at the sight. 'It was not invulnerable, it could be hurt. And if it could be hurt then it could die! This pest would not survive! It would die just like all the rest!' With this revelation the Great Dragon began charging up it's Gravity beans once more, preparing for a more concentrated attack to draw out it's opponents weakness. If exposure was the key to defeating this ant, then Ghidorah would make sure that all this bug felt was never ending pain from its energy.

During this all the white ape appeared to be rambling once more, somehow even more bothersome and agitated than before and as Ghidorah's heads fired off their gravity beams the ape made another slashing motion in the form of a violent backhand.

San's head was sliced off with a startled shriek of surprise but Ni and Ichi only felt more enraged at yet another injury to themselves. They directed the beams to strike exactly where Regulas stood, not a volatile beam that rose and fell like true lightning but a more fine tuned beam of pure energy. The Great Dragon's wings and spines on their necks rose as they could feel the energy output increase, their collective consciousness all determined to wipe this vermin out. Ichigo and Ni continued to fire their solidified beams for a half minute before ceasing to regrow their missing brother.

As Ghidorah ended his attack with their throats still brimming with energy, San's head began to regenerate although a slower rate than usual. It would've been much faster but with Ni and Ichi keeping the Gravity beams in their mouths ready to fire at a moments notice, their energy was being distributed to where it was most needed. Still their regenerative ability wouldn't allow them more than 60 seconds without one of their heads, and in the meantime the other two heads could see the burned and charred remains of the white ape. Somehow through whatever means this "Authority" possessed, the ape was barely holding on to life by a thin thread, and that realization grew the sadistic vein in Ghidorah's body. Ni was more than eager to snap up the vermin in his mouth but Ichi held him back with a simple order through their telepathy, he wishes for their other sibling to share in this insect's demise.

No more than a few seconds after the order San's head finally finished repairing itself, and the first thing the more curious extension of their consciousness did was hiss and snarl in an anger equal to what Ni demonstrated. Over the eons that they had spent conquering worlds, whenever an injury came to their body San was usually the one that suffered most. The other heads had been decapitated at some point before, but neither had been more so than San, a annoying fact that greatly disturbed and aggravated him.

San glared down at the ape with pure murderous intent and telepathed his wishes to step on this vermin to remind it of where it stood on the evolutionary food chain. Ni growled unsatisfied that He wasn't the one to devour or think of the idea but Ichi silenced him with a growl and approved of the action, letting San have complete control over His side of their shared body. Raising their left leg and it's dragonic foot as high as they could, all the one known as Sin Archbishop of Greed Regulas Corneas could do was watch with anger and pain in his mind as the four-toed foot rapidly descended upon him. Regulas and the surrounding ground around him that was within the radius of the foot was crushed more than 4 dozen feet below ground level from the amount of force that San used to squish his insignificant and arrogant form to nothing. Smearing his body into little more than dirty and drying red paste, and even that was being generous due to the immense weight of his killer, the one would regarded himself as the most content person knew no more.

Ghidorah felt satisfaction flow through all of their heads, and once more detected a similar energy akin to the one they just snuffed out approaching from the northern end of this soon to be dead world. Perhaps it was another of these so called Authority Wielders, likely the one their prey's mind had regarded as "Lust". In the distance they could see a dragon, one much smaller than the supposed "Great One" approach, though this one was black with purple markings as opposed to their own Gold or Volcanica's Blue and black. Their interest grew mildly when they could see the dragon seemed to shift it's form into something more hardened once it drew closer, before changing forms yet again, this time to a smaller predator covered with fur and spikes. At one point it even became an incredibly smaller vermin, which surprised the Trio since the singular body has become a horde of smaller ones that swarmed over themselves much like that self replicating white one. So it appeared that this enemy wouldn't be as quick and easy of a fight as either of the powered apes.

That was fine, it only meant more entertainment for them to enjoy.

.

Ghidorah found itself growing frustrated with the quality of prey on this world as their influence grew the size of the storms throughout the lands. There had been unique foes to fight, but after the red and White apes it seemed none would be anything more than mites for them to burn. The shape shifter hadn't lasted very long, not even a full day, for although they could change their form at will with seemingly endless stamina, their regenerative properties were nothing but a cheap imitation of Ghidorah's. The Divine Dragon had been more entertaining than that pathetic whelp, and they had only lasted a mere two to three days, so far a time They found themselves with nothing significant to conquer and break aside from what they were already doing by just standing in this atmosphere. At least until the floating mammal covered in fog and what Ghidorah could only identify through other fallen prey's minds as the Black Serpent arrived. Those two had been interesting and in the later's case, almost lethal to Ghidorah.

At first the Great Maebeast known as the White Whale attempted to use its ability to disrupt the mana flow of others on this golden prey, but seeing that fail it used its ability to create fog to cover it's form and the surrounding area as best it could. But the raging winds and rain made it difficult for the Whale to maintain it's stealth trick, and when a bolt of Gravity beams strayed too close it decided to use its other ability to create duplicates of itself. An interesting trick for one that wasn't familiar with such an idea, but unfortunately for the Whale Ghidorah had already seen this by the Great Rabbit. And with the whale only able to create two clones of itself, it was clear to Ghidorah of the two which was more evolved.

It had been little under two weeks since it's last great battle with the serpent whose venom nearly destroyed it, and the platform world that once held four great countries and various landscapes now found itself barren. The grasslands were gone, it's burnt remnants now resembling a desert of charcoal grey and black. The forests which once held life both benevolent and malicious, animals, Maebeasts and spirits now were graveyards of bones and ash. The Augria sand dunes were not spared the treatment of Ghidorah's wrath, and now the once free flowing and expansive desert now was covered almost completely in glass from the heat of the dragons gravity beams grazing the sand. The subterranean life had not been spared either, either permanently trapped underneath nearly a half mile of glass or died outright from being exposed the volatile energy the Dragon expelled. The Pleiades watchtower that stood for four centuries was now in ruins, it's former grandeur and wonder no longer necessary because there was no one left to admire it.

The Witch of Envy Satella once sealed near the Watchtower had long abandoned this world and it's timeline, instead merging with another of herself as she awaited for the day in which she would be reunited with her beloved. The added mental weight only amplified the damaged fracture that her mind constantly experience for as long as she's been bound with the Envy Witch Factor. She also gained a new target for her hatred aside from the only other living Witch of Sin, and yearned for the day that She would protect her beloved from this abomination from the Stars that He so cherished.

The Witch of Vainglory Pandora after exhausting her power to try and undo the chaos and utter madness this invader from the stars brought also chose to depart from this dimension. It's reality was too far gone for her Authority to rewrite to her favor, and her brief glimpse into the mind of the Great Golden Destroyer only brought pain, confusion and finally fear to her mind. Sensations that She has long been estranged from were all now brought back to her consciousness, and the only thing Pandora could ask for was to complete her goals before the invader breached the barrier between this dimension and the next. She knew that she could not stop it's arrival, because it's power far surpassed her own, and was much more ancient.

Perhaps an Variant of herself would find the key to defeating such a Horror, but the Pandora of this dimension could only think of such a hope after seeing many alternates of herself across various worlds already having fallen to what she could only refer to as a God.

Although Devil was more fitting title.

33 days has passed since the arrival of the Golden Star.

No life remained.

No spirits: greater, lesser, quasi or artificial.

No humans: poor, rich, noble, outcasts.

No Demihumans or beastmen.

No Maebeasts, greater or lesser.

No plant life, no trees or grass.

As with various other worlds, Ghidorah had reduced it to nothing but a lifeless husk of it's former glory. All that remained active in this world aside from itself was the storm system it created by merely existing in this unique atmosphere, and soon enough both of those would dissipate when they departed for their next conquest. The sands were little more than glass, the once lush forests were now only filled with rot and ash silent but for the winds. The rivers and lakes were either polluted with rotting flesh and disease or evaporated into steam. They took also sometimes held charred remains, those unlucky enough to be struck by a minor bolt of lightning that broke off from the lethal beams the sadistic Devil unleashed upon them.

Satisfied by its work King Ghidorah, the Destroyer of Worlds, the Golden Wings of Demise, the Nightmare of the Void began to ascend into the sky.

It's wings that created unrivaled hurricanes, unending tornadoes and swept lesser storms away carried it higher and higher towards the very stars that it had descended from not even a full month prior. The slowly depleting amounts of oxygen was of no inconvenience to itself, It's biology allowing it to survive in virtually all types of atmosphere or lack of. It was this passive perk enabled by its genetics that allowed it to further it's goal of complete annihilation by leaving its home world in search of others. It's current path was back into the vast expanse of space and it's cold embrace, but it's next destination was unknown. The nearby star would be a tasty meal after expending so much energy laying waste to this world. After that it was time to continue on the same dreadful path it always diligently travelled, from Star to Star, world to world.

However wherever it would travel, no matter how long or how far, King Ghidorah would bring only one thing with itself.

Death.

Well that's my crossover between Godzilla Franchise and Re:Zero! I've had this idea for little over a year and a half but never really write anything for it, just a fun scenario to imagine. With the Big G getting more stuff this year from both America and Japan as well as Season 3 coming either this year or next, I figured it was time to make this. Tell me all what you think!
