Then they landed on a strange land. Evangeline looked around and there she and Hercules noticed that there are many goats on this island. Evangeline then said, "I think it would be best if we stay together." Hercules agreed with her.
They yelped when a goat jumped from out of nowhere and scared them. Evangeline got confused. She then asked, "Is this the right place?" Hercules asked Pegasus, " Y-You sure this is the right place?" Pegasus nodded.
Then the siblings heard laughter. Then Evangeline said, "I wonder where is it coming from." The siblings then followed the sound. The siblings then saw nymphs. Evangeline gasped softly. She has never seen nymphs so beautiful.
She said, "They're beautiful." Then they heard a bleat of some kind. Evangeline looked at her brother and asked, "Do you hear something?" Hercules answered, "I sure do." They looked down and you know what they saw?
They saw a little creature in the bushes. Hercules asked if it was stuck. When he grabbed it, Evangeline gasped and got disgusted. It's not a goat at all! Only half goat. She knows what it is, a satyr.
She is repulsed by how it looks. Hercules yelped with disgust. The siblings just looked at the satyr as it was chasing the nymphs. Evangeline shook her head. She thinks it's unacceptable. She doesn't know what is going on.
She has heard what nymphs can do. She then got disgusted with her brother. The satyr glared at them both. He then asked, "What's the matter? You two never seen a satyr before?" Evangeline thought of this over.
Hercules said, "Uh, no. Can you help us? We're looking for someone called…Philoctetes?" Evangeline added, "Well we haven't, but do you think you can help us? We are looking for someone with the name of Philoctetes."
The satyr munched on a bowl after he tossed the grapes that were in the bowl away and said to the siblings, "Call me Phil." Realizing that this is the one they're looking for, they got really happy. Hercules shook his hand tightly and Evangeline giggled by the satyr's reaction.
She thinks it's funny. That's what she thinks. Hercules said, "Boy am I glad to meet you, I'm Hercules, and this is Pegasus. This is my sister Evangeline." Evangeline then introduced her pets to Phil.
Pegasus licked the satyr and that disgusted him. Phil said, "Animals, disgusting." Evangeline said to Phil, "There's a reason why we're here sir, we need your help, well mostly my brother does." Hercules added, "She's right, I need your help. I want to become a hero, a true hero."
Phil looked at them. He then said, "Sorry kids can't help you." He closed the door and Hercules said, "Wait!" Due to his strength not in control, he also grabbed the door with Phil. Phil glared at him. Hercules then said sorry and asked why not.
Phil said, "Two words: I am retired." Evangeline then said to him, "Um that's like three words." Hercules said to him, "Look I gotta do this. Haven't you ever had a dream, something you wanted so bad you'd do anything?" Evangeline added, "Have you?"
This got the satyr's attention. He then sighed. He said, "Kids, come inside I want to show you two something." The two siblings then followed Phil inside. Evangeline looked at Pegasus before going in with her brother. She was amazed at what she is seeing with her own eyes.
She is careful on what is in the way. Phil was impressed. Really impressed. Hercules bumped his head on a mast though. That caused Phil to tell him, "Watch it. That was part of the mast of the Argo." Evangeline gasped in surprise. Then she and Hercules asked together, "The Argo?" She then took a look at it.
Phil then said to the siblings that he trained all different heroes. He then mentioned that they failed him. Then he showed them a statue and said, "And then…there was Achilles. Now there was a guy who had it all - the build, the foot speed. He could jab, he could take a hit, he could keep on comin'. But that furshlugginer heel of his! He barely gets nicked there once and - kaboom! He's history."
He then sighed. Phil then said to the siblings, "Yeah I had a dream once.I dreamed I was gonna train the greatest hero there ever was. So great the gods would hang a picture of him in the stars... All across the sky, and people would say, "That's Phil's boy." That's right. Eh, but dreams are for rookies. A guy can only take so much disappointment."
Evangeline felt sorry for Phil. Hercules then said that he's different from the other guys. Evangeline nodded her head. Hercules said that he can go the distance and he'll show him. Evangeline said, "He'll show you really, please believe me."
Hercules grabbed Phil and said, "Come on, I'll show you." Phil hit the mast and Evangeline followed. Phil said, "Sheesh, you don't give up do you?" Evangeline then answered him, "You have to see what my brother has." Hercules added, "Watch this." Hercules then picked up a strange discuss that is huge. He tossed it and threw it.
This sort of amazed Phil. He then tried to think, but he quickly slapped himself and said to snap out of it. He then said he's too old to get mixed up in this stuff again. Hercules then said to him when he and Evangeline stopped him, "But if I don't become a true hero, I'll never be able to rejoin my father, Zeus."
Phil stared at them for a second. He said, "Hold it. Zeus is your father right?" The siblings nodded their head yes. Evangeline then said, "It's true, he is his father." Phil laughed at what he heard.
Hercules and Evangeline gave Phil dirty looks on their faces. They didn't think it's funny. Phil still laughed and did a voice impression of Zeus and Evangeline and Hercules both said, "It's the truth!" Evangeline said, "Please, you have to believe the truth. It's the honest truth." Phil then said while rolling his eyes, "Please!"
Phil slid down and sang and while he sang the siblings shrugged their shoulders and Pegasus sniffed a statue and Phil noticed it was tilting and he put it back in place, but part of the statue fell and it hit him on the head.
He shooed Pegasus away and the winged horse laughed while the siblings, Diana, Alexander and Penelope rolled their eyes before they glared at Pegasus.
Dark clouds surrounded Phil as he said, "My Answer Is Two Words." Just then a lighting bolt struck Phil covering him in black smoke and he finally said, "OK." This made the siblings happy while Hercules asked, "You mean you'll do it?" Evangeline then said, "You won't be sorry Phil, I guarantee it. My brother won't let you down at all."
Hercules asked when to start and to start now. Phil said, "Oy vey." Evangeline knew that it's going to be a while, but she's sure that Hercules can do this.
