I'm back! It's a short chapter, but I had to get this one done. There's going to be so many details and so much going on in these chapters. The days of everything going at a snail pace and slow are over. Saints Row, YuYu Hakusho, and Special A will be incorporated. They're the first ones I'm going to use. Enjoy it!

Three long months passed at Teito University. The semester was business as usual. Classes were normal and everything was proceeding the way it had before the Sekirei Game had started. Outside of some variables Minaka and Takami were still trying to rein in. Kai, Haihane, and Storm were settling in their room at Teito University. The TV was blaring with anime-Yuyu Hakusho was playing, and they were just starting to get into the dark tournament. Haihane was making popcorn. Storm and Kai were going over there Literature work and their Language work as well. They were taking this all seriously and planned to get the best grades possible, Haihane didn't really care and was viewing it as a vacation. In her own words-she had been chasing after Ashikabi and Sekirei for so long, she didn't want that to be her default-so she was quick to take this assignment.

Kai was also wary of how Koto and Karasuba liked to handle things, but as it was explained by Saki...They had no choice but to be that way. Kai could understand now since they had to do this so quickly. Higa and Kakizaki were taking too many liberties, and if his hunch was correct, Hayato was going to be adding in his funds and hands with those that were in the meeting. It was only a matter of time before he'd join hands with them, since after all, they both came from rich families, so their mindsets were alike as well as being distinct.

The last thing he wanted to do was resist their commands, but when that command was to search schools and hotels for all of the ruck that could be working with Higa he had no choice but to resist. It didn't sit well with him whenever they messed with civilians or if they were caught in the middle. It's bad enough that they chased down Sekirei and Ashikabi. He didn't want it to turn into an all out bloodbath so long as he could help it. There were quite a few participants and variables in the whole thing, that kept pushing for those.

Whoever Higa had been doing business with were making the news headlines. They wore yellow, red, green, blue, and purple. He wasn't familiar with the gangs themselves, but he did know what colors they wore, and he knew that ones wearing red and green in particular were a violent crew. They were trying to lock down the drug trade and Teito University seen a rise in the use of weed among other things. Everyone wasn't using these, but Kai knew that a good percentage of the students were.

"Popcorn is almost ready you guys."

"Haihane-"

"Thanks. I'm going to need it for my studies. Make sure to put on the Special A anime as well."

Haihane smiled easily. "I like it better when you're talking."

"Kai..."

"It's fitting Storm. Besides, we're trying to get the best grades possible."

Haihane grinned widely while giving a thumbs up. "Kai has the right idea. I got lots of snacks for us. Maybe you guys could help me out with my courses."

"Sure thing." Kai replied, smiling amicably. "I'd love to help you."

"Thankfully, we have the same courses. Takami was able to work her magic and get us these classes. I just hope we're not putting ourselves into a trap."

Kai hummed softly while letting out a grunt. "I was afraid of that myself, but I don't think it's so. Higa and Kakizaki are playing the long term game. They don't care about us, so long as we're not announcing ourselves like Karasuba and the others are. I think it's refreshing to have people like us in Teito still, considering the fact those gangs are raising hell every chance they get now."

"We've only been here for three months. You'd think they'd take a break. The Yakuza isn't going to let those American off shoots have their way here, even if they were numerous enough to disperse the way they did." Haihane commented.

"That's exactly why I'm so concerned, but Kai's deduction skills always give me relief." Storm said, pulling her papers forward and snuggling close to Kai.

Haihane joined the duo with her own stack of papers and popcorn. "We're going to need to send a report soon. Do we have all the information that we need?"

Kai nodded while browsing through his notes. Higa was still continuing to build and everything was moving into the new year. Teito University needed the renovations and there were so many permits that he paid for, he basically owned the University without owning it. There were even buildings made for the working crews so things were much easier. It didn't make it easier for him and the students, but he could admit, this was better than the alternative of hotels and things of that nature.

The one thing they didn't have a whole lot of information on were the drugs circulating around campus, the gang members disguised as students, and in addition to that they didn't have much of anything on the overseas gangs besides their colors. Karasuba, Koto, and the others were going to be the ones to get that information since they had to deal with them on the hourly basis. Everyone knew not to cross or provoke the Discipline Squad, but these gangs were a special breed and truly didn't care.

They were going around shooting out of their cars, blasting through shop windows and doors, littering the entire street and sidewalks with bullet shells. The population of Teito had started to dwindle slowly, but Minaka put a protection order out to keep things running smoothly. Whoever Higa was doing business with wanted to fracture the infrastructure and that's something Minaka wasn't going to allow no matter what he had to do.
