TW: bit of a vent. I am very sorry to those that I may offend.
Hey, guys. ValvraveRider17 here. It... certainly has been a while, hasn't it? I've pretty much finished college, working full-time, had some moving to do. Yeah, things happened a lot and I... to be honest, did not have the time nor the motivation to continue writing for a while. Please know that it was never my intention to leave you all in the dark without any updates. But ever since the last update I have been undergoing a lot these past few years; A bit of depression, stress, and writer's block. And because of it, I have been procrastinating on this story and did not get on with it. But nowadays, little by little, I have been getting some time and creative thoughts back and after a long hiatus, I thought it would be time to get back on some writing.
Now, onto the announcement. As you may have noticed from this chapter's title, this story is currently undergoing a rewrite.
Now before you throw rocks, pitchforks, or anything, please understand that this was a hard decision for me to make. Ever since time passed, I have learned, experienced, and understood a lot of things within those years and because of that, I was never really able to get back into my creative mind of writing. Hence why it seemed like I disappeared for a long time without notice. And for that and all of the lost time to you guys, I sincerely apologize from the bottom of my heart. I really did not expect my sudden hiatus to be this long.
I was still in highschool with a small creative mind that was still growing and when I first published this story and when I was able to get some chapters in, I was really happy with the feedback and reviews that I received from you guys. But now that I've grown up and looked back at this story, I began to realize that the planning I had on it that didn't make sense and did not seem to be going at a consistent line as a plot. Not to mention I must been a bit naive and immature to put in 40 OCs into one story (hence one of my friends who looked at it back then thought it was too much). That's why I took the decision to do a rewrite to make up all of the lost time for you guys and hopefully publish a new one with a better story plot with less characters this time. Now I know that not everyone will like this but I just hope that you guys understand why I had to do this and give this new story a chance.
To those that have been following me and this story, I wanted to say thank you so much for favoriting and reviewing this story. And Again, I sincerely apologize for making you guys wait. I know I gave you guys a good story for you guys to enjoy, even if it's not great. but looking back at it there were some stuff that I didn't like and thought I needed to do a good refresh. It may take some time when it comes out but I sincerely hope that this new story will be to your liking when it does.
