Later that afternoon they run some errands with their mom. First stop is the pharmacy and they have to go inside cuz it's way too hot to sit in the car. Even the shadiest parking spot they found didn't reduce the heat to a safe temperature*
After that they go to the shoe store for the boys to try on some new shoes. Hannah is upset that she can't buy any for herself cuz she hasn't gotten the privilege of her allowance back but is told to help the boys find ones they like*

When he was younger yes. When he was still a baby my mom would rock him to sleep at the sound of thunder outside. All that changed fast after I was born. Hannah used to tell both of us that monster from the sky would jump down through the clouds and eat little kids playing outside. It terrified both of us but I eventually figured out she was doing it to be mean. Steven never stopped believing her. Until he got Tyson. That awesome dog helps him feel safe outside "Andy says"

The food drive for the local animal shelter. Donations are taken here then are boxed up and taken to the dogs and cats that need the food at the shelters "Julian says"
