~LATER THAT DAY~

The town gathered discretely around the fountain as Carlos and Mirabel almost conspirationally dragged Estrella- who was slightly tired- to the fountain that promptly as she noticed Bruno standing there with a guitar in the ruana she had gifted him looking at her the fountain began to work again as if it was never broken with beautiful red orchids and tiger lilies and lotus flowers surrounding it.

Estrella was shocked as Bruno spoke to her nervously, but determined.

"Before you say anything! I just want to sing you a song I made for you! If you still want me to stay away from you and Carlos afterwards, I'll respect it and leave you be! I just want to reach you with my words somehow and I think this song will work better than me rambling out everything to you..."

Estrella was unaware until that moment that her hair had come loose as she had to pull some stray strands behind her ears in order to take him in properly.

She took a deep breath and nodded accepting the chair that Luisa kindly set down in front of her for Estrella.

He began strumming and soon he was singing to her.

Estrella was shocked as his nieces vocalized with him and Carlos and Mirabel hugged her as if to confirm what she was hearing was the truth.

Estrella was shocked as Isabela erected a statue of Estrella and Bruno when they had their first kiss next to the fountain as Bruno got down on his knees across from her as she covered her nose and mouth while tearing up involuntarily.

Estrella's tears began to fall as Bruno continued with this time Alma and Pepa coming up to her and helping her up from the chair offering her their support.

Julieta came up to her next with Dolores and Camilo with her and guided her towards Antonio who was holding some things in his hands.

Estrella accepted the items to discover it was the shawl she had given to Bruno and her ring that Bruno had both proposed and wedded her with.

The ring was a gorgeous gold ring with fragments of visions of them that Bruno had in the place of stones and inscribed with his vow to her.

'Siempre Mi Amor'

Estrella couldn't hide her fond smile as she held the ring in her hands and turned to Bruno as he finally reached her and finished the song.

"Me esperan los demonios

Bruno knelt on one knee in front of her after finishing and taking the ring from her and in tears himself spoke to her sincerely.

"Estrella... Mi amor... I know my mistakes were and are many... But the one thing I want to make sure you remember is that my vow to you from that amazing night where we became husband and wife... My vow that you are always my love... That will never change regardless of what your decision is. But if you give me just one last chance, I want to change things to be better than we ever thought they could be. I want to show you every day and every afternoon and every night that I love you and that I've never considered you or Mirabel or Carlos some stupid secret I have to keep! That I have always only ever wanted to openly be with you and with our kids right along with my family! I want just one last chance to give you the happiness I should've given you from the start. The family and love you deserve." Bruno said to Estrella.

Estrella was breathless from what was happening.

"Bruno..." Estrella began hesitating before asking him something that didn't surprise anyone, "Can you promise that if I give you one last chance, the kids and I won't come last anymore?"

Bruno quickly got up and pulled her close briefly before answering, "Mi amor, I can promise you that I will make sure that you and the kids will always come first to me. Because you are my greatest gifts in my life and because I love the three of you much more than you can imagine."

Estrella offered him a relenting happy smile after he dried her tears.

"I'll give you one last chance, Mi Corazón."

Bruno pulled her close and kissed her lovingly and everyone cheered as he pulled away and placed the ring back on her ring finger where it belonged.

"Te amo, mi estrella del norte." Bruno whispered to his wife.

"Yo tambien te amo, mi futuro." Estrella whispered back.

The two were then whisked away by their kids and the Madrigal Family to the Casita to celebrate with the whole town the re-union of Bruno and Estrella.

~THAT NIGHT~

As the party raged on, Bruno and Estrella went up to Bruno's room and sat down on his bed together huddling close just enjoying the comforting closeness they had missed for so long.

Then Estrella turned to look at him and Bruno looked at her to find her smiling at him with her gorgeous smile and he couldn't help but smile back and kiss her lips softly.

Eventually they kissed again, and again... And again.

Eventually they both lost themselves in each other for a while before finally just laying together in bed cuddling naked. They were slightly out of breath and pretty tired, but happy just being together. When their breaths settled as the cuddled on the bed covering their bodies with his sheets, Estrella remembered that Carlos was way past his bed time and needed to sleep.

"Shoot! I forgot to take Carlos home and put him to bed earlier! He's going to be a handful tomorrow!" Estrella sighed out tiredly not bothering to get up from beside Bruno knowing Carlos was probably playing with Antonio and other children or just running around playing with Casita and the rats.

Bruno smiled and kissed her cheek near her jawline lovingly, "Don't stress so much, Mi amor... I'll take care of him tomorrow. I'm long overdue to spend time with him anyway. He'll be okay. Besides, Mirabel probably put him to bed in the nursery if she noticed him at any point looking tired at all."

Estrella was hesitant but relented knowing he was probably right before starting as he held her hands in his and asked something shocking.

"I know it's a bit sudden... But I would love it if the four of us lived here in Casita together from now on. You and me as husband and wife. As parents to Carlos and Mirabel." Bruno asked.

Estrella hesitated, "I would like that... I really would... But I have my farm to look after. It needs my attention. I can't just abandon my produce, my flowers, my animals..."

Bruno hugged her close, "We can work it so that we can take care of your farm together all four of us..."

Estrella sighed with a smile as she answered calmly, "I'll think about it, Bruno. That's all I can promise right now. For the meantime let's go and check if Carlos really is sleeping and if he isn't get him into a bed either here in the nursery or his room back at the farm."

In the end, they found Carlos sleeping in the nursery tucked between Mirabel and Camilo, which made them smile.

When they got back to Bruno's room they finally sat down and had a much needed conversation.
