Bruno had a lot of time to make up for, and make up for it he did.
The day following the reunion of the family of four, Bruno began to make up for all of his mistakes by taking his wife and children out around town to work together on helping the townspeople by first working Estrella's stall in the market together. Then Bruno played for some hours with Mirabel and Carlos before they were joined by Estrella herself. Then the four of them worked at the farm together before going back to the fountain that was so special to Estrella and Bruno and dancing under some happy rain from Pepa. After that the two went back to the farm and gathered the belongings of Estrella and Carlos and returned to the Casita for dinner with the entire family.
Bruno was much more participative during dinner with the family by telling everyone along with Carlos and Mirabel about the day the four of them had together.
With that in mind, as Estrella readied for bed and Bruno tucked Carlos into bed, she couldn't help but think that things were finally right in the world.
~ Time Skip ~
It had taken months, but Bruno, Estrella, Mirabel, and Carlos all finally found a good comfortable normal as a family among themselves and as a third of the Madrigal Family.
Not long after Carlos and Estrella began living in the casita, a door formed for Carlos for him to receive a gift and a new mysterious door with an image on it of a canvas and a paintbrush being used by two mysterious figures. Upon noticing this, Bruno decided to attempt to have a vision only to discover in said vision that his wife was once more pregnant, but this time with twins. It was a shock, but then they took time to really investigate the new casita and found several differences from the first one.
This new casita had, to start with, a portrait of the entire family including Estrella, Carlos and now the two mysterious figures on the front doors with Mirabel in front of them all and butterflies all around the frame and the arch above the doorway.
Secondly, the doors to Isabella, Luisa, and Dolores' rooms were very different from the ones in the original casita. Isabella's door had the same butterflies as the front doors of the house, but instead of flowering vines and a elegantly posed Isabella, there was a smiling and youthful looking Isabella with her hair braided and behind her a strangling fig and around her many jacarandas while Isabella herself was seated on a vine as if she were seated on a swing. Luisa's door no longer focused on Lusia flexing to show her muscular form off, instead Luisa was smiling and in one hand she held a wonderful looking coconut to drink from while in the other she seemed to be either picking up or setting down a bar bell, Luisa herself surrounded by butterflies of the patterns around the house while she was instead of showing off rather sitting down somewhere happily and peacefully.
Thirdly was Dolores' door. It had previously been ominous but with the new casita her door was vastly different. In the image were the now increasingly normal butterflies and one spread of waves from one of Dolores' ears as one of her hands was welcoming in the waves. But the expression on her face in the image of the door was probably the most significant change there was as she was smiling happily.
Next was a newly added room for Mirabel which was extraordinarily beautiful. All around her were the familiar butterflies but the girl herself on the door was holding a big heart in one hand and the family miracle candle on her other hand. A big and empathically supportive smile on her face.
With all these changes and more present, it was safe to say that the future of the Madrigals was looking to be brighter and happier than ever as well as that of the ever tight knit community of their home.
Their Encanto.
