My pov
After running a few laps with ted ， I am tired . We are back in dauntless compound . A girl is standing with Alan. She is wearing blue dress， an erudite uniform.
"Linda!" Abby waves her hand
"You know her?" I ask
"She is my cousin. She has a crush on Alan Davis ." Abby blinks her eyes
Elizabeth and Jessica both give me a pity look. Maybe they think that I also like Alan Davis too.
"Abby!"linda turns around and walks toward us . "Are they your friends?"
"You know Delia . She grew up with me." Abby introduces me
"I know her . Alan told me ." Linda smiles at me. "Nice to see you."
I don't feel good around her but i don't know why
"Should I call you ms Davis soon?" I mock .
"Don't be so rude Delia." Jason wraps his arms around me.
"Take your hand away from her." Alan pushes his hand off me
"Mr Davis , he is my friend and you don't have right to tell him what to do." I drag Jason away with me. "Watch your girlfriend carefully or I will punch her face if she comes closer."
I walk away with Jason and Elizabeth. I want to cry but I don't cry.
"Delia are you okay?" Hana encounters me .
"I am fine ms pedrad . We should congratulate Mr Davis right?" I giggle
"You are jealous." Hana frowns. "What happen with you and alan?"
Jealousy? I am jealous of Linda? I can't and shouldn't be
"Linda likes Alan but he doesn't like her . He has someone in his heart already." Hana shrugs. "We are all stunned."
"Why?" I am curious
"He is someone who is different with other men ." Hana explains . "Go get ready for the training."
I walk to the training room. Ted and Amar are there
"You are late ." Ted watches the clock
"Just a few second." I roll my eyes. "You aren't erudite ."
Ted didn't say anything so does Amar . Ted clears his throat
"So today we are going to learn how to fight and how to shoot. I and Amar will show you how to fight and then you are going to practice . Tomorrow you will fight each other so I suggest those who learn slow will get hurt."
He walks on the stage with Amar so they start fighting each other . Amar is much powerful but ted is quicker . Sometime speed is more important than force .
Alan Davis pov
Delia was wrong about me and Linda . Linda grabs my arms and I push her away. I can see my heart clearly. Maybe at some point, I do love Delia . She is kind and caring. I want to know more about her .
Tomorrow I will go to abnegation with max so I can meet her parent. I can talk to her mom if she is willing to tell me more about Delia . I walk to the training room.
Ted and Amar are fighting. I stand beside Delia.
"Ted will not win." I smirk
"How do you know ?" She looks at me. "You don't know about ted more than I do."
"Amar is the only one who can possibly beat me . Ted can't even stay in my hand for a minute." I raise my eye brows
I am feeling uncomfortable when she argues for ted . Is this sense of jealous that I feel about them! Amar wins in the end of course
Delia walks away from me toward the punching bag.
"So tomorrow's fight will be ranked according base on your skill so learn it well." I clinch my fist
I stand beside ted . Ted is watching me .
"I know that you didn't keep your promise ." Ted says coldly. "You are my boss and friend . Originally I shouldn't go against you but this is about Delia."
"You need to let her choose." I fold my arms.
"She will choose the right person. She knows me much better than knowing you." Ted walks away.
I see that ted walks to Delia who has difficulty punching the bag. When ted's hand touch her, she stops and push him away.
I walk toward her . I let ted stands at a side . My hand wraps around her waist. She doesn't budge .
"You are small but you move quick." I say. "You don't have muscle so the best weapons for you is your elbows. You can use your elbows and knees to attack ."
I take her arms to hit the punching bag and it swings back and forth. She looks back at me.
"It works." She gives me a wide smile. "Thanks you."
"I can't deny that your waist is so soft." I lean into her . "Linda isn't my girlfriend . I am still single Delia."
I let her do it herself . She looks at me .
"I don't care ." She says in a lower voice
She cares about that which means that she also likes me .
"Alan comes to have meeting with us." Sam claps his hand. "Now I mean."
I sigh . I don't really want to go
My pov
I look at Alan disappeared behind me . My eyes are fixed on him until a figure stands in front of me . Ted , he is angry right now
"Everyone go to lunch now , except Delia." Ted claps his hand
Everyone leave , before they disappeared , Abby gives me a worrier look. I shake my head at her. I don't believe that ted will hurt me
"Delia why is that?" Ted asks
"I did nothing wrong Ted ." I fold my arms in front of me .
"You treat me and Alan differently." Ted grabs my arms. "Are you in love with him or something like that?"
Why he assumes that I am in love with Alan? I know that maybe I have different feeling for Alan but not because I love him. It can't be true
"How can you say that? What feeling then I should have for him? Hatred or I don't know ?" I question him
"You should afraid of him. He can kill someone in a second ."ted screams
"You are scaring me not him Ted." I push him away
A hand puts on ted's shoulder . Another man stands behind him
"Ted , Alan wants me to tell you. Don't touch her." The man smirks. "Well little girl, my name is Nathan , one of the five leaders of dauntless. I am also Hana's husband."
"Hey nice to meet you." I smile at him. "Never heard about you."
"Well I and hana are currently fighting because of her ex boyfriend ." Nathan shrugs. "Go have lunch ."
I walk with Nathan away from the training room
"Ted was never act like this before he went to abnegation." Nathan sighs. "Maybe he just loves you too much ."
"I don't love him the way in romantic relationship but he is my brother" I lower my head
"We all can see that Alan and you are in a twisted relationship now. He cares about you but he cant say that." Nathan shakes. "Not before he can forgive himself."
I am shocked . What is trying to forgive ?
"Did he done something wrong."
"Not really but his mother death bothers him. I can't tell you more otherwise , he will kill me ." Nathan sticks his tongue out
We enter the cafeteria . Abby and Elizabeth stand up.
"Are you fine?" Elizabeth grabs my hand. "Did he done something to you?"
"Not really, he was just talking to me about something secret" I try to find an excuse .
Alan Davis's pov
I heard Ted was screaming at Delia so I asked Nathan to stop that. When I arrive at the cafeteria , she is there eating with her friends. Max is going to erudite now . Nathan sits down
"Done ." Nathan winks at me
"Yeah okay, so how are you with hana?" I ask
"Horrible." Hana bites her foods
They haven't talk for a long time since Hana's ex boyfriend visited her .
"Why hana? Is there anything that you guys can talk about?" I am wandering.
"He doesn't trust me . I was walking to max 's office and he encounter me coincidentally. He was talking about something related with job. He was laughing that's all." Hana rolls her eyes.
"However he was so close with you." Nathan shouts
"The wind is so big so he has to get closer." Hana shrugs
Nathan doesn't say a word. I know that he misunderstands hana.
"So now it is a misinterpretation here" Sam sits down beside me .
"Yeah it is ." I nod at him
"Well ted wants to talk to you." Sam says. "About something ."
I know that he wants to talk to me about Delia
"I will meet him after lunch."
After lunch, I walk to the chasm. Ted stands there alone
"Ted." I call him
"You betray me." Ted scoffs at me
"I don't think that I betrayed you. You haven't marry her so I also have a chance ." I smirk. "Plus she doesn't like you."
Ted grabs my collar . Something push ted away—-Delia . She is standing between me and him
"Don't touch him." Delia screams. "If you push him off there, then I will hate you forever ."
"Why do you think That I will kill him." Ted frowns
"Jealous can kill people ted . This is what you told me before I came to dauntless . I will not like this kind of you. You weren't like this . Maybe our encounter is a biggest mistake." Delia cries and runs away
Ted wasn't like this . She is true about that. I chase after Delia . When I grab her , she falls on the ground
"Alan , I don't know. I am sorry mr Davis ." She grabs my shirt
"You can call me Alan. That's fine." I hold her in my arms. "Don't cry, he will not kill me."
"I was scared to see him that way." Delia looks at me with her eyes red . "Maybe this is a wrong choice ."
