In an industrial district of Vale…

Yang Xiao Long and Neptune Vasilias arrived at Junior's Club by Yang's motorcycle.

Yang kicked the door open making a loud entrance.

Only to see some henchmen helping one another up like a brawl just finished but with no property damages.

A few henchmen spotted her and pulled out their weapons only to be stopped by a crossed Junior.

"What do you want, blonde? -sir." Junior added as he remembered who he was talking to

"What happened here?" Neptune ask

"Doesn't matter." Yang interrupted, ignoring the defeated henchmen as she interrogate Junior

"Were looking for traces of Roman, any intel?"

Junior scoffed at her question.

"Same first question from the other guy, huh."

Yang raised her left eyebrow

"Well sorry to disappoint you, sir. Roman never returned after he hired my men." Junior said with anger at the name

"So please just go, the property damage you've caused before was already paid."

"By who?" Yang ask

"Can't tell. But whatever he's after, he's gonna get it." Junior replied

A moment of silence hung around the room, before Yang decided to leave with Neptune.

On a bright and sunny day, there was a truck parked in the middle of the road being rained by bullets.

A masked Ilia Amitola, Sienna Khan, and Blake, all frown as they're pinned under heavy fire.

Hoping to negotiate a ceasefire, High Leader Ghira Belladonna breaks out of cover of the convoy to try and speak to the supremacist gunmen.

"Please! We're just trying to pass through!"

He suddenly finds his answer when a bullet narrowly misses him and instead breaks through one of the trucks' windshields, forcing him back into cover.

A gunman firing his revolver, dressed in a blue jacket.

"Well you animals passed through the wrong town!"

"There's no need for violence!" Ghira shouted back behind the cover.

Unfortunately, the angry supremacist refuses to listen and aims his revolver at Ghira again, landing two hits on his right shoulder, depleting his Aura and wounding him, shocking the rest of the crew as he grunt in pain from the cover.

Furious, Sienna engages, leaping from the roof of the truck and attacks the supremacists with her whip, Cerberus Whip, knocking and scarring them up.

Meanwhile, Ghira, now recovering with her daughter's assistance, can only watch in shock.

Hiding behind a tree from Sienna's carnage, Ghira's assailant sees an opportunity to try and take him or Blake out.

However, Ilia, with a quick reaction of fear, pulled on the trigger of her weapon, extending it and piercing through the center of the man's chest, killing him instantly.

Shocked, Ghira, Blake and some of the Fang members walk out of cover, only to find the gunman slain with his six-shooter unloaded, and blood splattered against the ground and the truck walls, a puddle of red dribbling from his corpse.

As the remaining assailants sneak between the trees, they see the damage, and proceed to retreat, leaving Sienna with a scary glare.

"You're all freaks!" As they flee

"That wasn't necessary." Ghira stands up with the help of Blake, pointing to the corpse.

"This is the very reason they think they can treat–"

"Ghira! She saved your life!" Sienna said, Ilia stood with horror on her face for what she had committed.

Ilia expects the rest of the White Fang to be disgusted by her action only to be met with positive praises except Blake.

At the White Fang Compound of the rooftop…

"Blake, I'm sorry. I just panic. It was an accident." Ilia started.

"Hey, it's okay. You did what you needed to do to protect us." Blake calming her down.

"I just killed a man, Blake. It felt like a mix of emotion." looking her head away.

"You did it to protect me and my dad. So I'll thank you for it." putting a hand on Ilia's shoulder.

"I'm sorry about your parents." As she faces Blake again.

"It's alright, Ilia. Dad will recover soon. Just do it to protect the people you care about."

Ilia's eyes lit up with confidence and blushes from hearing Blake's word.

In the hallway of a Schnee Dust Company facility, where Sienna, Ilia, and Blake are destroying a wave of Atlesian Knight-130 androids, now equipped with arm blades for melee combat.

As the door opens, six guards armed with bullpup personal defense weapons equipped with foregrips and holographic sights arrive as the hallways turn red, with the compound on emergency alert.

The text on the holograms lining the tops of the walls change from displaying "SDC" with the Schnee emblem to saying "Warning!" and "Emergency exit".

Upon sighting the White Fang members, they immediately open fire, forcing the three behind cover, before the smoke grenade hurled in their direction sends them coughing.

Smirking, the six ready their PDWs as Sienna, Ilia and Blake emerge from the smoke covering their mouths as they beat and knock them, most of the process was brutal beating for Sienna and slight to Ilia.

Just when they left, one of the guard who was knock off silently aimed at Blake, but to be impaled by Ilia.

"For you." Ilia said as Blake saw Ilia's irises changed to red.

Blake snapped back to the present, she and Sun infiltrated a warehouse somewhere in Vale, disguising themselves as new recruits of the White Fang by wearing Grimm masks.

There they discover that Roman Torchwick is present to unveil one of many Atlesian Paladin 290's he had acquired prior to their official entry onto the market.

Sun quickly feels the urge to make a getaway, and to make matters worse, Roman easily spots them among the aspiring recruits.

Blake creates a distraction by shooting the breaker to take out the lights, before escaping with Sun through a window.

To their shock, Torchwick swiftly pursues them by climbing aboard the Atlesian Paladin.

Weiss, Ruby and Yang, receive a frantic call from Blake requesting assistance.

Yang and Neptune, using Yang's motorcycle, quickly meet them on the nearby highway and engage Torchwick, marking the beginning of a large battle on the road.

Sun and Neptune are hurled off a bridge by the Paladin, while Weiss suddenly appears in the battlefield and uses the Ice Dust in Myrtenaster to cause the Paladin to slip and fall to the ground beneath the bridges, where Ruby awaits it.

With a rapid series of paired attacks, Team RWBY is able to pressure Torchwick, even with the advanced technology of the Atlesian Paladin.

However, even with an arm sliced off of the Paladin, Torchwick manages to deal some damage to Yang.

When Blake and Weiss exhibit concern, Ruby points out that Yang's Semblance allows her to absorb energy from the damage she takes and convert it into additional power.

Yang shatters the other arm of the Paladin, pushing Torchwick into desperation.

He attempts to kick Yang, but a gunshot came out of the dark and landed a hit on the leg disabling its function, followed by a frag grenade.

Blake uses her weapon's ribbon to pull Yang out of the explosion, as Adam joins the fight, assisting them with an attempt to counterattack.

Weiss uses her glyphs to coat Ruby's bullets in Ice Dust, which freeze the Paladin in place, as Blake swings Yang around to land a titanic punch, which shatters the Atlesian Paladin.

Nevertheless, Torchwick manages to escape with the help of a girl named Neopolitan, who distracts the team with an illusory wall as she and Torchwick make an aerial escape.

Adam attempts to shoot the airship down but fails as it vanishes from the night. Weiss attempts to make a horrible pun after the tense fight, which Blake and Yang disapprove, while Ruby stares at Adam's back.

Adam sighed as he sheathed his blade back and clipped it on his belt and turned to face them.

"What are you all huntresses-in-training doing in a criminal case?" Giving them a shiver.

That was Blake's past in the second scenario of the beginning of this chapter.

Adam's mission was to retrieve the Paladin and arrest Torchwick at the same time. But too bad, Team RWBY beat him to it and didn't see the damage they're causing and forgets that they're just huntress-in-training.
