The next day...
A black Gabumon and Guilmon bio-emerge into the real world.
"Where should we go?" The black Gabumon asked Guilmon.
"Beats me." Guilmon shrugged.
Meanwhile...
Sora had come over to the Matsuki residence for some reason and opened the front door.
"Hello Bianca." She called out.
"Oh Sora, have a seat." Bianca gestured to one of the chairs.
"Sure." Sora agreed.
She then sat down in the chair.
"What would you like to discuss?" Sora asked.
"Well..." Bianca trailed off.
She then bent down and whispered into Sora's ear.
With Tai and Agumon gone from the house for the time being, the two Dracomon take it upon themselves to defend her with their absence and scratched at Sora, leaving cuts on her arm.
"Hey, stop that!" Bianca yelled at the Dracomon.
"Sorry, Sora." She apologized to the red-haired woman.
"It's fine." Sora brushed it off.
She had been attacked by Digimon plenty of times in the past, after all.
"Anyway, I don't have a problem with what you just mentioned."
In Takato's room...
He spent some time playing with a toy Dracomon.
"I have to go to the bathroom." He said before leaving his bedroom.
While Takato was gone, Drairius stepped on and accidentally broke his Dracomon toy.
"Uh oh." Drairius' eyes widened.
Takato then returned from the bathroom and saw what had happened in his room while he was gone.
"What did you do?!" He angrily shouted at Drairius.
"It was a accident." Drairius was taking offense to Takato shouting at him. "I don't have to take this."
He then slid the window open and jumped out, running away.
Drairius made his way over to Matt's place and stood in front of the door for a few seconds, then knocked on it.
Matt answered the door.
"What are you doing here?" He asked the rookie level Digimon.
"Takato and I had a argument over a broken Dracomon toy and I refuse to go back."
"I did the same thing with Tai plenty of times when he led the Digidestined." Matt informed him.
Drairius then seemed to recognize him from times he went to the Digital World.
"You're Matt Ishida, the second in command of the Digidestined." Drairius was overjoyed to see him.
"That's my name, don't wear it out." Matt smiled at the fact he had a fan.
"My name's Drairius." He introduced himself.
"Nice to meet you." He shook Drairius' claw.
"I'm still angry with Takato." Drairius confessed to Matt.
Meanwhile...
Draizen found out his twin ran away.
"You made Drairius run away because he accidentally broke your Dracomon toy." He gave Takato a lecture.
"I need to make this right with Drairius." Takato said, looking down in shame.
Back at Matt's house...
Drairius was trying his extra spicy well cooked steak. He was going to eat it every day once he made amends with Takato. Drairius was even going to convince Draizen and Takato to try it.
"Heh, glad you enjoy it." Matt giggled at his joyfulness.
He then picked up the phone and dialed Bianca Matsuki's phone number.
"Hey, Bianca. It's me Matt. I'm going to tell you step by step how to make my extra spicy well cooked steak."
Later.
"So, how do you intend to apologize to my twin?" Draizen asked Takato.
"Let's find out where he went." Takato suggested.
"Good idea." Draizen liked this.
Takato and Draizen prepared to leave the Matsuki residence to find Drairius.
"I just received a phone call from Matt Ishida." Bianca told him. "It's concerning extra spicy well cooked steak."
"We'll head over there now." Takato replied.
He and Draizen then left to find the latter's twin.
Drairius was still eating his extra spicy well cooked steak.
"You know you can't stay here forever." Matt pointed out.
"Yeah, you're right." Drairius agreed.
Eventually, he would have to apologize to Takato for running away.
All the while Takato wished he handled that differently.
Sora eventually returned to her house after spending some time with Bianca.
She was walking through the living with a arm load of materials, when some of it drops to the ground she bends down to pick it up.
"Let me help you Sora." Gabumon offered, reaching for the dropped items, then he sees the scratches on her arm.
"Sora, did a Digimon attack you?" Gabumon asks in concern.
Matt, who was sitting on the couch and channel surfing, turned to them.
"What?" He asked in alarm. "Sora?"
"I'm fine." Sora told them. "It's just a scratch. No harm done."
"No harm done?" Biyomon repeats. "Sora!"
"Everyone just calm down." Sora tried to reassure them. "This is nothing compared to what we went through in the Digital World." She reminds them.
Drairius then walked into the room when he heard someone's voice.
"Oh, hey there." He waved a claw at Sora. "Sorry about scratching you earlier."
Tai sighs tiredly as he and Agumon walked up to the front door of their home. "Finally home."
"Feels good." Agumon smile, watching Tai unlock the front door and push it open.
"Hey everybody!" Tai calls, his bags sliding down his arm to the floor. "Guess who's home!"
Agumon imminently saw the Dracomon. "Tai, it's a Dracomon!"
"What!?" Tai quickly twists around to find the two Digimon, with his daughter. "Agumon!" He calls, rushing to his daughter, and grabbing her, lifting her up.
"Pepper Breath!" Agumon sends the attack, the Digimon dodges the fireball, the Dracomon sends out his own attack at Agumon.
"Blue Blaster!" Gabumon jumps in to counter both attacks, the Digimon and Tai turn to see Matt standing in the doorway of a hall with Sora and Bianca standing between them.
"Tai! You goggle head!" Matt sighed.
Tai stood there stunned as he held his daughter protectively. "Huh?"
"Tai, Takato got his Digimon while you were gone." Bianca said. "Now you boys just ruined my nice clean apartment!"
"Sorry." Tai hung his head.
Speaking of Takato...
He and Draizen were getting closer to Matt's house. Takato was figuring out what to say to Drairius.
"So, have you come up with a apology?" Draizen asked.
"I have." Takato nods, sulking. "My dad gave me that toy. It's my favorite."
A few seconds later...
Bianca heard knocking on the door.
"I'll get it." She stood up out of her chair and went to answer the door. Bianca was pleasantly surprised to see Takato.
"Hello, Takato." Bianca greeted him with a smile.
He and Draizen walked into the house.
"Where's Drairius?" Takato asked.
He was sitting along a wall in the living room when Takato and Draizen came inside.
"What are you doing here?" Drairius demanded.
"I'd like to apologize for what I said earlier." Takato stated.
The blue Dracomon stared at him for a few seconds.
"Very well." Drairius eventually spoke.
Matt then walked up.
"I hope you two are hungry for steak."
"Absolutely." Takato and Draizen's mouths watered.
Takato and Draizen took a bite out of the steak.
The blue Dracomon started to sweat.
"Is something wrong?" Takato asked.
Draizen's throat then started to swell up after he ate the steak.
"Draizen!" He called out, alarmed.
Draizen was having a hard time breathing.
"Uh Matt, did you tell them your well done steak is extra spicy?" Tai sweat dropped.
"No." Matt rubbed his hands together in embarrassment.
"Call 9-1-1!" Takato cried out. "Draizen can't handle spicy food."
The group had to take Draizen to Joe.
Before that happened, Draizen burped out a fireball and everyone ducked.
"Let's hurry." Tai insisted.
The group took Draizen to Joe as fast as they could.
"Hey Tai, did you smack the computer again?" Joe jokes with a smile after he opens door to a room, his Digimon coming in too.
"That's hilarious Joe." Tai huffed. "This Dracomon actually belongs to Takato." He places his hand on Takato's head.
"That's great news Takato!" Gomamon exclaimed. "Congratulations!"
"Thanks!" Takato smiled.
"I bet you were a lot braver then your dada and me when we first met ours." Joe added.
"I was." Takato nods, he looks up at his father. "Aunt Kari was there."
"Knowing my sister, I bet she knew what to expect." Tai sighs.
The Digimon sitting on the chair, burps out a few fireballs, everyone dodges as the fireball hits the closed door. "I'm sorry." He apologizes as Takato helps hold the fire extinguisher and Gomamon blasts the fire.
"It's okay." Joe assures with a smile. "Now, what's going on?"
"Matt is the culprit!" Tai answered. "Extra spice to the steaks. Didn't go so well."
Joe moves towards the Digimon. "Yeah. He likes to add spice to the food." He turns on a little flashlight. "Alright, let's have a look here."
At the same time...
A Digimon floated on the sea outside Japan. Someone was on his back.
The two had a brief conversation about humans and Digimon living together.
'Do humans deserve to be partnered with Digimon.' The Digimon pondered.
"Leviamon, I foresee you encountering a young girl who just may change your dark ways."
With Takato and the Dracomon twins...
They were engaging a Darklizarmon in the park. It was hunting a smaller Digimon named Calumon.
"Dracomon, attack." He ordered the Digimon.
The three narrowly won, though Drairius was disobedient.
Takato and the two Dracomon then realized someone was watching them.
It was another Tamer and she and her Bearmon watched Takato's battle, impressed.
"Hey, you're Rika. You just won the Digimon Trading Card Game Championship." He recognized her.
"Nice to meet you. What's your name?" She asked.
"I'm Takato." He introduced himself.
Along with their Digimon and Calumon, Rika and Takato head back to the city. Along the way they discuss Digimon and their home lives.
Meanwhile...
Hypnos had just picked up on another Wild One's signal and are trying to destroy it, but the Digimon breached the barrier regardless.
"The target is a Deltamon." Deltamon's target turns out to be the city.
It proceeded to destroy large parts of the city.
"Let's go." Takato and Rika rush off to fight Deltamon.
They quickly found themselves overwhelmed.
"No, this isn't over." Takato refused to give up.
His resolve eventually caused Calumon's catalyst to activate.
"Dracomon digivolve to...Coredramon." There was a blue and green Coredramon standing before Takato.
"Blue Flare Breath! Green Flare Breath!" The two Coredramon fire a stream of blue and green flaming breath from their mouths. The Deltamon caught on fire and disintegrated. Both Coredramon absorbed his data.
"Good job." Rika complimented him after the battle.
"Thanks." Takato smiled at what she just said.
Both Tamers then left the area to return to their respective homes.
When Takato got back, the lights in his house were off.
"What's going on?" He was now confused.
After turning the lights on, Takato was awestruck.
"Surprise!" Sora, Tai, Matt, Kari, Bianca and the Digimon had streamers in their mouths. "Happy birthday, Takato."
"Thanks guys." He said in appreciation.
Takato then blew out the candles on his birthday cake as the others clapped. They then handed him some gifts so he could open them.
"These are awesome!" He beamed. Takato really liked his gifts.
It was a really good day over all.
