CIA

Chapter 5

Kate was right where she wanted to be that morning. Naked next to a naked Rick. As she woke up, she remembered what they had done last night. Yes, they fucked. Her pussy and her ass. That was nothing new to her. Except this time, she actually enjoyed it, which was a first for her.

What was also a first was having Rick go down on her and lick her down there. No one, literally no one, had done that before, and she loved it. The fact that she had two orgasms while he did that only made her love it that much more.

Kate smiled a wicked smile as she got an idea. Since she loved it when he licked her down there so much, he should do it again.

Kate got up and lowered herself onto his face. She grabbed the headboard and ground herself on his mouth. She could tell when Rick woke up as he started to lick her.

She unabashedly ground herself on his face wanting to feel that again. "GOD, YES!" She was close to having another climax, so very close. She screamed out her climax when she came.

Eventually, she got off his face and knelt, taking his cock in her mouth. She had done this many times before, but this time meant so much to her. For the first time, she enjoyed giving a man – especially him – a blowjob.

Rick climaxed in her mouth, and she swallowed all of it and smacked her lips. She smiled at him. "Tasty."

Later she was in the shower when Rick joined her. "Wash me?" Kate asked and relished the feeling of having him wash her from head to toe. Then he shoved her up against the wall and entered her. Kate wrapped her legs around him and let him fuck her. "Yes, fuck me. Fuck my pussy. Harder, faster." She wanted taken this time.

Kate was wearing a swimsuit when she joined Rick at the breakfast bar. "Planning to go swimming?"

"Yes, the pool is part of the complex, even if it isn't that large, and we're paying for it in the HOA, so I thought I would put it to use," she replied. "Don't fix me anything." Kate kissed him, picked up her key to get back in, and went down to the pool.

She had the pool all to herself that day.

When Kate returned, she found him in the bedroom, and he was packing. What suddenly went through her mind was that he was leaving her. "Leaving?" she managed to ask.

Rick packed the last item and zipped his bag closed. "I got a job to do. I'll be taking the jet. I'll leave you the Jeep and some extra money. I don't know how long I'll be gone."

"Where are you going?" Kate asked, her voice shaking slightly.

"I can't tell you that."

"Why can't you tell me?" Kate wanted to know where he was going.

"Because you don't have security clearance for me to tell you."

"But I'm your girlfriend." Kate thought that should be enough. "Or don't you want me to be your girlfriend?" She sounded hurt.

"Yes, of course, I want you to be my girlfriend. But that doesn't automatically give you security clearance."

She was about ready to cry. "Well, it should. You're leaving now?"

Rick put his arms around her and held her close. "This is my job, Kate. Surely you knew this was bound to happen sooner or later."

Kate looked at him as tears streaked her face. "I never really thought about that."

"I'm sorry to leave you, but this is my job, and I'm good at it. I'll be back as soon as I can." Rick kissed her. She kissed him back as if her life depended on it.

She watched him leave their bedroom with his bag of clothes and another bag, the one that she had no idea what was in it.

Kate caught him at the front door. "Please come back."

"I'll be back, never fear." Rick kissed her again, picked up his bags, and left her behind.

Kate watched him until he stepped into the elevator, then she went back inside and locked the door. What would she do now?

~oo0oo~

That first day Kate spent at the pool with her sunscreen. The next day she spent it at a beach with her cover and sunscreen. On the third day, Kate drove to Diamond Head and climbed it. She got her cardio workout for the day. Of course, Kate had to pay for parking, but since it was an all-day pass, Kate spent almost the whole day there. She got a Pineapple smoothie, and since it was so good, she got a second one. She knew it was fresh because there was a massive pile of pineapples out front.

Her fourth day, she went grocery shopping. She was amazed at what things cost. Everything was easily double the price it was in Seattle. She only had so much money and didn't know when Rick would make it back, so she had to be frugal.

On her fifth day, she was at the pool again with her sunscreen.

Her sixth day, she stayed home, the worry she felt for him tugging at her heart. Where was he? Had something happened to him?

That night she finally broke down and touched herself, bringing herself to an orgasm. It felt good, but it wasn't Rick. She missed him something fierce by now.

Her seventh day, she only had on her bikini since she planned to go to a beach. But then, she heard someone at the front door. She was afraid that someone was trying to break in. Then she thought maybe it was Rick.

She peeked around the corner and saw Rick come in. She rushed over and wrapped herself around him, even before he could close the front door. When Kate did that, Rick took a sharp breath and lost some of his color. He looked and sounded like he was in pain, and she backed off.

"What happened?" Kate looked him over and spotted a bandage finally. "What happened?" she repeated.

Rick tried his best to play it off. "It's nothing."

"Nothing!? It looks like something to me. Tell me what happened," Kate demanded to know.

Rick finally told her. "I got shot, is all."

Kate exploded. "SHOT! YOU GOT SHOT! Damn it! Come in here, and let me look at it." Kate guided him farther in the room, closed the door, and took him to the sectional.

"I'm taking off your shirt." Kate began undressing him. Doing so, she exposed his wound.

Rick tried not to flinch. "It was a through and through, so it's nothing to worry about."

"You were shot! I damn well call that something to worry about. Who did your bandage?" Kate wasn't at all impressed by it.

"I did," Rick admitted.

"Well, your bandage sucks. I need to remove all this and do it all again. Where's the medical kit? Never mind, I'll get it." She left him and retrieved the medical kit.

"How did this happen? And don't give me any 'you don't have security clearance' crap either," Kate warned him.

"He came up from behind me. I didn't see him. I'm lucky he's such a terrible shot, or I'd be dead."

"I suppose he's dead?" Kate questioned him while she cut his bandage off. She exposed the wound and made a face of disgust. She made him move so she could see his back. It was definitely a through and through.

"Yeah, he's dead." Rick could tell her that much.

Kate shook her head as she looked at his wound. "You're lucky I don't have to dig out a bullet." She started cleaning it out on the front first. "You're sure you can't tell me about it?"

"Yes, Kate, I'm sure and thank you for this."

"You can thank me by getting me a security clearance." Kate made herself clear. "If you're going to keep getting shot, I want to know why and where. I do, Rick."

"I can ask. That's the best I can do for you. But don't expect much with your history."

Kate stopped working on him. "It's because I was a WHORE, isn't it?"

"Let's just say your history is questionable."

"Great, that's just great. You know it wasn't my choice to be a WHORE. I wouldn't have ever done that, not in a million years. I was kidnapped, remember?"

"Yes, I know, but that doesn't change the fact that you were. They're going to see that and hold it against you," Rick warned her. "You may think of yourself as no longer a WHORE, but you were one."

"Fine! But I still want you to ask them." Kate got back to work on his wound.

~oo0oo~

She finished cleaning the front and the back, then bandaged it. "Not bad, not bad at all." Rick flexed his arm to test it out.

"Are you hungry?"

He nodded. "Starving. I haven't eaten anything in two days."

"And you can't tell me where you were." Kate sighed. "But I'll forgive you for that."

She didn't say anything else for a while, but she had to ask. "I was thinking. About my parents, is there anything to suggest that they left me anything? I know it's been five years, but they had stuff."

"Maybe, but I wouldn't get much hope up. They've been gone five years, and you were deemed missing before that. Do they have any cousins? A friend they would send things to? Leave that to me. If they exist, I'll find them.

"Nice thinking, though." Rick kissed her for it and got kissed in return, which told him she wasn't that mad at him.

~oo0oo~

It was a week later, and Rick felt better. Good enough to pilot the jet when he wanted to, not when he had to. He zipped his bag closed. "Ready?"

"Just about." Kate still hated wearing a bra. It wasn't because of her nipple piercing but because she just didn't like them. But she had a couple and packed one while she wore the other. Kate zipped her bag shut. "Ready." She didn't move though. "You're sure this is a good idea? It's a long way."

"Syracuse, New York, is a long way to be sure. Montreal, where your mother's sister lives, is even farther. Just be thankful we don't have to go to London."

"Ouch." Kate was happy they didn't have to go that far. "Let's get started then. You're sure you feel good enough for this?"

"The shoulder is fine, as you well know." Rick arched his eyebrows at her a couple of times.

Kate grinned. She got the meaning of that. They made love the first night he was back and every night since. The second night and every night after that, they used a condom. Kate wasn't interested in being pregnant just yet.

"How long is this going to take?"

"Let's see. It's about six hours to LAX and another eight hours to Syracuse. Not including being put in a holding pattern waiting for a landing clearance."

"You're CIA. You would think that gives you priority."

"Doesn't work that way. Let's go." Rick picked up his bag and walked to the Jeep for the drive to the airport.

~oo0oo~

Kate did fine for the trip to LAX. However, she was bored during the trip to Syracuse. "You're sure the CIA doesn't have a transporter?" she whined.

Rick chuckled. "Yes, I'm sure. Just be thankful that with the time difference, we're spending the night."

"Six hours time difference. We left at breakfast in Honolulu, and we'll land in Syracuse at night. I'm already hungry," Kate grumbled, getting Rick to laugh.

~oo0oo~

Holiday Inn Express Syracuse Airport was their hotel of choice. It was close to the airport, if not far from where they wanted to go.

Kate practically dragged her bag to their room. "I'm so tired."

"How tired?"

"Not that tired. You're still making love to me, mister."

~oo0oo~

They left their bags in the hotel since they had planned to stay the night and took a taxi to see Jim's brother.

"KATIE! Thank God. We all thought you were dead. Come in, come in." Franklin Beckett stood aside as best he could, given he was using a cane. "You'll forgive me if the place is a mess. I'm retired and living on Social Security. Thankfully the house is paid for."

"Nonsense, the place looks lived in," Kate assured him as she looked around.

"Where have you been, Katie?"

"Bangkok."

"Thailand!? We never considered that. Your parents were losing their minds over what had happened to you. Bangkok." Franklin thought about that. "Thankfully, in a morose sort of way, they didn't have to worry about it too long, given they were dead soon after. Johanna was killed in an alley, while Jim was killed when he was at home. The best the police could think of was that the murderer killed Johanna first, found her address, and then killed Jim. What they couldn't explain was why.

"But you're here for what he left behind that I kept. It's not much. I kept the paperwork on the house and the selling of the house. The family decided not to keep much. I set it all out right here." Franklin pointed at the pile.

Rick looked at what he had, leaving Franklin to Kate.

"It's been five years, Katie. What kept you away so long? Why didn't you even attempt to make contact?"

"I was a victim of white human trafficking and held prisoner, Uncle Frank." Kate was unwilling to even think about it anymore, nor tell him she became a WHORE.

Franklin gasped. "That's terrible! I can't imagine the life you had to live. But you're safe now?"

"Yes, I'm safe now. Rick rescued me."

"Lucky girl." Franklin directed his attention to Rick. "So, find anything interesting?"

Rick nodded. "A few things, yes."

"Anything you find is yours. I'm happy to help in any way I can. I only hope it's useful to you. So where to next for you, Katie?"

"Montreal, to see my mother's sister."

"I know for a fact that she took more things from the house than I did," Franklin said. "I wish you luck."

They talked for a while longer, then took their leave of him.

They were back at the hotel. Rick sat at the desk in their room, studying the papers from Franklin while Kate paced. She couldn't wait anymore. "Did you find something?"

"Actually, I did. He kept all of the police reports, including the pictures of the stabbing." Rick handed her some of them.

Kate settled in the armchair and looked them over. "That's a lot of stabbing."

"What troubles me is why a gang member would bother to stab them so many times. Maybe one or two maximum. Then according to the report, they didn't steal anything. Nothing off their person and nothing from the home. That part makes no sense." Rick looked at one of the pictures and shook his head.

Kate frowned. "This says that they didn't even take Mom's engagement or wedding ring." She knew her mom's rings were worth thousands.

"Exactly. The one I have says the detective in charge is a man named Raglan. It might help us to look into his past. Leave that to me. I'll find out all I can about him." Rick looked up from the page he held. "It says he came out of the 12th precinct. That's the same precinct Montgomery's in. I'm detecting a theme here."

"You think Montgomery is in on it?"

"Oh, most assuredly. The good captain called Bracken immediately after my visit. The main problem remains – finding proof."

"Proof," Kate repeated as she looked at the pictures of her dead parents.

Rick was watching her. "You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Kate kept looking at the photos until Rick got up and took them away from her.

"I mean, how are you?" Rick asked her.

"I… I don't know." Kate was starting to cry. She saw pictures of her dead parents, and suddenly it was real. Up until now, it was just all talk. Seeing her stabbed parents made it real.

Rick knelt beside her. He put his arms around her and let her cry.

~oo0oo~

That night was the first night that they didn't make love. Kate wasn't in any shape to make love.

They slept in and took a shuttle to the airport for the flight to Montreal. They took a shuttle to the closest hotel to the airport, the Fairfield Inn and Suites. They got the same room they got everywhere else, one that had a king-size bed.

"Ready for this?" Rick asked her as he was about to call for a taxi.

"I think so." Kate was still hurting from seeing the pictures of the stabbing.

Rick brushed a strand of hair away from her face and kissed her gently. "You'll do fine, Kate. We won't stay longer than necessary." He picked up his cell phone and called a taxi.

~oo0oo~

They made it to the home of her mother's sister. Together, they stood there looking at it for a moment. Then they approached it and rang the bell.

"KATIE!" Beverly was happy to see her and hugged her straight away. "You're the spitting image of your mother. Come in, come in." She mostly ignored Rick because she was so focused on Kate.

"We thought you were dead. Where have you been? How do you feel? It's been five years. I was so happy when I got your call. I've been counting the days till you got here.

"Oh, I put everything I took from the house in a box. It's over there." She pointed to it, which got Rick to go and look. She sat there expectantly, waiting for Kate to say something.
