Sitting in the resident lounge the next day, Callie had a dreamy look. The scene from last night played in her mind.
Last night
After their heavy make-out session on the couch, Arizona pulled Callie and guided her into the room. Once back in their room, Arizona closed the door, pulled Callie in her arms, and kissed her. Callie melted into her arms. Sensing her lover's mood, Arizona lifted her top and slowly pushed Callie back onto the bed.
Arizona's hands were everywhere, running up and down on Callie's body. She kissed her in a way that left Callie breathless. She kissed and licked her way to Callie's neck, chest, and shoulders. She looked deep into Callie's eyes and took her breast in her mouth, sucking on her nipples and circling them with her tongue. Callie could do nothing but moan. She was defenseless against Arizona's ministration. After taking her time in massaging and sucking Callie's breast, she started to move south, kissing Callie's stomach and gradually moving to the core of her body. She slowly and softly removed the jeans and black laced panty from Callie's body. She could smell Callie. Intoxicating arousal. She kissed the inner thighs, making Callie gasp, and licked her way to Callie's core.
"Oh God, yes!" Callie loudly moaned the moment Arizona's lips touched Callie's vertical ones.
Arizona loved the taste of Callie. She opened Callie's folds and licked her clit. She felt Callie's finger in her hair, and she latched on Callie Clit. The brunette squirmed underneath Arizona's touch. Arizona took her time, switching between running her tongue through the folds and sucking the clit. Arizona's gentle reached Callie's entrance, and she penetrated her with two fingers. Her tongue mouth went back on, sucking the clit while her fingers darted in and out as her hand pinched Callie's hard and sensitive nipples. Callie was feeling like she could explode any moment now. Her hold on Arizona's hair was getting painfully tight. Her core was now clenching Arizona's fingers, indicating the impending orgasm.
"God, Arizona… I am about to cum… make me cum," Callie panted, igniting Arizona's lust even more. She increased the speed of her fingers going in and out, and at the same time, she bit gently at Callie's core while squeezing her nipples.
The effect was immediate, and Callie came undone, screaming Arizona's name.
Arizona gave a moment before pulling her fingers out and licking them clean after taking a few deep breaths and calming her speeding heart. Callie's hands ruffled her hair, signaling Arizona to look at her. Arizona raised her eyes, which locked with Callie's. She knew what she wanted as if she always did.
Moving to change position, Arizona laid down on top of Callie, kissing her. Callie could taste herself on Arizona's lips, making her wet all over again. Arizona slowly started to move and grind on Callie. Her core screamed with want. She began to scissor, grinding their wetness together, pressing, rubbing, and looking at each other. Arizona could feel her juices mingling with Callie's. Their clits rubbed together, not roughly but gently, stimulating them to further depths of passion. Arizona reached over to caress and pinch her lover's aching nipples. She could see from the look in her eyes that she was not far off, so she adjusted her position and pressed. They were in such an intimate position; it didn't feel like it was their first time as they looked deeply into each other's eyes. She was moving their body like a well-versed rhythmic dance.
Their breaths started to get heavy, their chest heaving, and soon, they both climaxed together with whimpers of joy, smiling and kissing each other.
As they calmed down, hugging each other, Callie looked into Arizona's eye. "Wow…"
"That was incredible," Arizona replied, still trying to catch her breath.
They kissed again and eventually fell asleep, holding each other close.
Callie's daydreaming was broken by the ambulance's siren coming in. She went in for surgery for another 2 hours. Once she came out, she found Arizona's message on her phone, wanting to meet her at lunch. Callie couldn't go out, so she asked her to meet at the Hospital Cafeteria. After making the plan, she went ahead with her rounds.
Callie eagerly awaited Arizona's message when she would reach the hospital. Just as the message came to meet her, Callie practically ran towards the cafeteria.
"Hey, you," Callie said as she reached Arizona near the counter, who was looking at the menu on the wall.
"Hey, you," Arizona replied, grabbing Callie's hand and pulling her for a quick kiss.
"How are you?" Callie asked shyly.
"Great after last night… you?" Arizona said teasingly.
"Great…. After last night," Callie replied, blushing, "Ahem! … how long before you need to leave?"
"About an hour or two," Arizona replied, "Depending upon what you have in mind," she added teasingly.
Callie hit her arm gently and said, "I just want you to meet my friends," as she looked over at the table where Addison, Mark, and others were sitting and watching them.
"Oh," Arizona said, pouting, while Callie laughed.
She took Arizona's hand and pulled her to her friends.
"Hey, Cal," Addison said, smiling.
"Hi guys, I would like you all to meet Arizona Robbins…. My girlfriend," Callie added the last part with a shy smile.
"Hi, Arizona," everybody said in unison.
"Hi, guys," Arizona replied politely.
Meet the team. Addison Montgomery is the chief of neonatal surgery, Derek Shepherd is the chief of neurosurgery, and Owen Hunt is the head of trauma. You already know Mark Sloan.
"Yes, of course. How can I forget?" Arizona said with gritted teeth. "it's nice to meet you all."
"Pleasure is all ours," Derek replied charmingly, "come join us."
Arizona took the seat next to Callie, who sat next to Addison. "So all chiefs here?"
"We prefer the term Gods of our field," Mark replied while Arizona rolled her eyes.
"And here comes another God," Mark added, looking at the women entering the cafeteria.
"Altman… Meet Arizona Robbins," Owen said, gesturing towards Arizona.
Arizona turned around to greet the woman, surprised to see who was standing there. "Teddy Freaking Altman?" Arizona exclaimed loudly, standing up from her chair.
"No!" Teddy enthusiastically exclaimed, "Arizona Freaking Robbins… what the hell are you doing here?" She said, pulling Arizona in a hug.
The rest of the group looked at two women in shock and interest.
"How do you two know each other?" Callie asked as Teddy and Arizona broke the hug.
"Well, we served together in Afghanistan," Teddy replied.
"Yes, and she saved my life," Arizona said with a grin.
"She exaggerates," Teddy said.
"No, seriously, I wouldn't be here if it was not for Teddy," Arizona said with gratitude.
"Enough of this," Teddy said dismissively. "Tell me how you are here?"
"Well, I joined the FBI and moved to Seattle… and now…"
"And now she is dating our Lovely Callie here," Mark finished her sentence.
"Really?... that's amazing," Teddy replied, smiling. "Torres… good catch."
"I think so too," Callie said, putting her hand over Arizona's, smiling lovingly, while everybody 'awed.'
The rest of the lunch covered some stories from Afghanistan and Mark's inappropriate jokes.
After saying goodbye to all, Arizona and Callie left the cafeteria to say their own goodbyes.
"It was great meeting your friends," Arizona said, holding Callie's hand.
"And meeting yours too."
"Oh, that was an amazing surprise." Arizona replied beamingly, "Teddy is great… we had lots of fun too… but that's the story for some other time. Right now, I need to go and meet my boss."
"Ooooh… all the best," Callie replied.
Arizona chuckled and kissed Callie before leaving.
…
"Karev, come with me," Arizona said firmly while walking through the bullpen.
"She is pissed," Alex whispered sideways to Jo.
"Of course, given that she is coming from there," she replied, gesturing towards Burke's office.
"Uh-oh"
"All the best"
Alex went quietly behind Arizona to her office. "Yes, boss."
"I have a lead," Arizona said quietly.
"Lead? Regarding that explosion?" Alex enquired.
"Mm-hmm, while asking neighbors, one came forward and mentioned seeing someone before the explosion. I have called her here… she is coming in an hour… I have called the sketch artist to get a description of the perp".
"That's a great boss!"
"Yeah, let's hope we catch him and get some information."
"Did you tell this to Burke?"
I prefer to wait until there's something to tell before informing him. I don't want to give him any excuse to blast me again".
"Agreed, that guy is a pain in the ass."
"You can say that again."
"What did he say to you just now?" Alex inquired.
"Same old, what is going on with the case… you are not taking this seriously… it's my head on the line, but you don't care. I'm facing criticism from all angles, and we're the laughingstock. Blah blah blah," Arizona replied with her best Burke impression.
"Douche"
"Forget about him… be there when she comes. Make sure she sees the sketch and confirms".
"You got it, boss," Alex said before leaving.
Arizona took a deep breath, wondering how long this would go.
After about an hour, the woman came to the FBI office and described the man she had been seeing around the house that exploded.
As per her, it was a Caucasian male 6 feet tall, with bushy eyebrows and dark brown hair. He used to wear glasses and had a scar on his left cheek. They had the primary picture made, and now it was the time to find this guy.
Even after an extensive search in the FBI database, they couldn't find anyone close to this guy.
Burke was getting frustrated and was making Arizona's life miserable. She was desperate to catch the culprit, and Burke's bickering only fuelled the fire.
It's been a month since they got the sketch of the man, but there was no further development in this case. Everybody on the team was on the edge and was being questioned by not only Burke but also the HQ.
…
One evening, the FBI office was dimly lit, with the only light source coming from Arizona Robbins' desk lamp. Arizona sat at her desk, surrounded by stacks of files and a computer screen displaying surveillance footage. She wore a determined expression as she meticulously reviewed the documents, highlighting important information with a pen. Callie was on call tonight, and a few new cases have come Arizona's way. On top of that, she was behind on her paperwork. So, Arizona was sitting behind a cluttered desk, focused on paperwork, when the phone in her pocket rang, interrupting the silence. Arizona picks up the phone without looking at the screen.
"This is Robbins," Arizona said over the phone.
"Hey, Boss. It's Alex"
"Alex? What's up?"
"Where are you?"
"I am in the office… why?"
"I thought we should catch up over a drink…the whole team… How about we meet at our usual spot?"
"I don't know… Alex… I have so much to do."
"Come on, boss, it has been ages since we all went out and relaxed…I heard they have a new selection of craft beers. It's been too long since we had a good chat.
After a brief pause, where Arizona contemplated her decision, she said, "Well, I suppose a break from these files won't hurt. Count me in. I'll meet you there in an hour."
"Great! Looking forward to it... See you soon".
The type A, punctual Arizona reached the bar at the given time, and her team was, as usual, late. So, she sat at the bar counter and ordered a white wine, patiently waiting for her colleagues,
She looked around and saw some familiar faces that she was used to seeing around this bar. As her gaze swept across the room, suddenly, her eyes locked on a man who matched the fugitive's description they had been tirelessly searching for. She maintained her composition and made sure that the person fit the description. She had been carrying the sketch on her phone. She kept her watchful gaze on the suspect for some time, noticing his every move. After confirming that the sketch was similar to the person before her, she slowly moved towards him.
With each step, Arizona weaved through the crowd, keeping a watchful eye on the suspect. As she approached, the suspect's eyes darted nervously, a hint of recognition flickering across their faces. Sensing the imminent danger, the suspect swiftly moved towards the exit.
Adrenaline surged through her veins as she reached for her phone and dialed her team.
Arizona quickened her pace, her heart pounding in her chest. She barked orders into her phone, informing her team of the situation and describing the suspect's direction. The commotion caught the attention of the bar patrons, who cleared a path for Arizona as she pursued the suspect.
Outside, Robbins burst through the door, scanning her surroundings for any sign of the fleeing suspect. In the distance, she spotted a fleeting silhouette disappearing into the labyrinthine alleyways. Determined, she sprinted after the suspect, her phone still pressed against her ear, coordinating with her team. The suspect got into his car, and Arizona jumped into hers.
"Jo, Suspect in the grey Ford edge plate number. Alpha, Zulu, Mike 9578… I am following him… Alex… call for backup."
"Got it, boss. Be careful."
Swiftly following his trail, They drove through the darkened streets until finally reaching desolate lines of warehouses on the outskirts of town. Her determination grew stronger with every second.
The gap between Arizona and the suspect closed with each twist and turn. The suspect glanced in the back mirror, panic evident in their eyes. After driving for 20 minutes, they suddenly stopped in an area filled with warehouses. The suspect jumped out of the car and ran inside the one at the far corner.
Arizona cautiously exited her car, weapons drawn, approached the entrance, and peeked inside. The warehouse was dark, but she could hear footsteps echoing from within.
She entered the warehouse, keeping her back against the wall. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows and ran towards the back of the warehouse.
She chased the suspect, weaving through stacks of crates and boxes. She could hear the suspect's labored breathing and footsteps growing fainter with each step.
Arizona raced through the dimly lit corridors of the warehouse, hot on the trail of him. The tension hung heavy as it was too dark to see anything.
Suddenly, a door slams shut ahead, and Arizona skids to a halt. She carefully approached the closed door, gun drawn, her heart pounding. With a swift kick, she bursts into the room, only to find it empty. Cautiously, Arizona scanned the room, her eyes darting from corner to corner. She squinted her eyes to see through the clouds of darkness.
Even after searching, she couldn't find anything. She walked out of the room in the open area. Her eyes focused, and her ears determined to hear even the pin drop.
She looked around for any sign or sound but couldn't find anything. As she was about to move to search at another location, a voice from behind called out
"You should know when to give up, Agent Robbins."
Arizona turned around swiftly, lifting her weaponized hand towards the suspect.
BANG!
