Izuku does show up to practice with dark circles. Aizawa sighs at the teen, who merely grins unabashedly back. Absolutely no shame, Aizawa debates asking him why he stayed up so late. Instead he clears his throat and gestures to Shinsou. It would be good for both teens to spar against someone at their level and age. - Secretly he also thinks this will be a good chance for both kids to make a friend that won't treat them like the rest of the world has.- "Izuku, my apprentice Shinsou Hitoshi. Shinsou, my son Izuku."

Izuku blinks, before offering the other teen a soft smile. "Nice to meet you Shinsou-san."

"Sensei when you said you had a son I was expecting like a toddler, not a kid my age. You can call me Hitoshi, since sensei didn't give your last name and I doubt it's Aizawa." Shinsou drolls, he offers Izuku a curt grin as he turns a short raised brow to him. Aizawa merely shrugs. Izuku examines the other teen quite obviously, only glancing once towards him keeping his focus on what Shinsou had said.

It was quite the assumption. A true one sure, but Aizawa was interested in if Izuku picked it up and why exactly Shinsou had come to that one.

"Why don't you think we share a last name?" So his son had then.

"Safety concerns, sensei is underground, it would be dangerous to broadcast that in the case someone got ahold of his personal information. You sharing his last name is irrational." Izuku takes a moment to consider before nodding.

"Smart. Are you going underground?"

"Kinda half to with my quirk." Aizawa can't help but to hide a grin. He could already imagine how this next part was going to play out.

"Oh?" His son speaks, raised brow, fingers twitches like they need something to write. Shinsou on the other hand looks entirely apprehensive. He takes a moment to respond.

"Brainwashing." The light and intrigue on his son's face only grow. Aizawa finds the next stream of thoughts utterly endearing.

"Cool, how does that work? Is it call in response, touch based, or something else?" Izuku rambles, absently bouncing on the balls of his feet.

"Youwanttoknowaboutmyquirk?" Hook,line-

"Of course I do, all quirks are-" and sinker . Shinsou doesn't hold Izuku long once control takes root, just enough for his son to stumble forward and eyes to cloud over before he's being released. Aizawa steadies him so he doesn't fall flat on his face, but Izuku is fully unphased.

"Holy shit, that was amazing." Izuku gasps, eyes wide in awe. Shinsou blinks, disbelief clinging to his expression. Something that will need to be worked on.

"What?!"

"Head has never been so quiet before, amazing." Aizawa shakes his head, he believes that. Izuku was the type of kid that always needed to be on the move, on the go, doing something. He had no doubt his son's thoughts were loud, he doubted they ever truly calmed or quieted for him.

"Umm sensei?" He turns a raised brow look at his apprentice. Shrugging as he lets Izuku go. Izuku offers him a thankful smile and it warms his heart.

"Can't help you kid."

"Hitoshi do that again." Izuku demands.

"Um.. Sure?" Shinsou seems to aim the last question at him, Aizawa can only sigh at them both. This could be a productive form of training and it would help both kids get more comfortable with the other, he nods. He sits back, wishing he had his sleeping bag, and just watches.

It's simply the most logical thing.

Izuku wipes the sweat from his brow before taking a big swig from his water bottle. He spies Hitoshi still laying on the training mat, griping about Izuku being as ruthless as Aizawa-sensei. He snorts, choosing not to comment on that, mainly because that seemed a far stretch. There is no way he is more ruthless than dad.

"Shinsou, get up before you get a cramp." Dad calls out, walking over to Izuku, hands in his pockets. Hitoshi huffs but sits up to actually start his cool down exercises.

"Izuku."

"Yea?" Izuku caps his water bottle, setting it back down. He shoves his own hands in his pant pockets.

"Will you be alright for a few hours tonight alone?" Dad asks in his typical gruff whisper. Izuku nods.

"Patrol tonight?" He finds himself asking, curiosity always gets the best of him.

"Yes, and before that I'm going to talk to your mom." Those words send a shiver of fear down his spine. Izuku bites his lip.

"Oh, about america?" His dad must notice the sudden onset of unease as he gently pats Izuku's shoulder.

"Yes, about that." Of course his dad is a man of few words, but he doesn't seem concerned so maybe Izuku needs to just trust him.

"Okay then, yea I'll be okay. I assume I'm staying with you tonight." He mumbles, kicking his foot nervously. Izuku glances around the training hall Hitoshi is still working through his cool down stretches. The other teen doesn't seem to be eavesdropping, completely consumed in his workout.

"I'll be home around one, your mom has the all night shift." Izuku nods at the information given. Nothing more he can say to that.

Since Aizawa had come back into the picture, mom hadn't really liked the idea of Izuku being alone all night when she had to work all night. Izuku didn't mind, he enjoyed the time with his dad, it was nice, quiet, but also it was just cool to have someone to listen to him talk about heroes and actually understand and care about his notes.

"Okay, I have some homework to do anyway." Izuku shrugs, Aizawa nods.

"Try to go to bed at a normal time." Dad quips, Izuku waves him off. He wasn't making any promises there.

"Maybe. Alright I need to finish my cool downs." One of his calves is starting to cramp and it will be a pain if he doesn't get one more light jog in before he does his own cool down stretches.

"Make Shinso go for a soft jog with you, he's still too tense."

"M'kay." Izuku grabs his water bottle before walking over to Hitoshi to pull him towards the small track. Hitoshi gripes but complies following easily.

"Everything okay with you and Aizawa-sensei?" Hitoshi questions carefully while they jog side by side.

"Yea, all's good. Are you good for another lap?" Izuku doesn't hesitate to answer, which seems to catch the other boy off guard. Hitoshi will get used to it eventually.

"Yea why not." They jog another lap.
