-Izanagi stretches as he wakes up yawning he looks around and sees Amenonuhoko still sleeping-
"I guess she's still asleep I'll just let her sleep," Izanagi says before extending his hand and turning her into a spear before walking out
"Jeez where do I go the place has changed so much since I've been here" Izanagi starts scratching his head before he hears the clashing of blades
"What's that?" Izanagi says puzzly
-Izanagi walks to the sound and sees Hachiman fighting a wooden robot doll before he cleaves it in half Izanagi starts clapping alerting Hachiman to his position-
"Were you there the whole time?" Hachiman ask
"No I only just got here but nice sword skills" Izanagi walks up to the cleaved wooden doll "But what's this thing"
"It's a training doll you can try it if you like," Hachiman says before leaning on a wall
-Izanagi keeps staring at the wooden doll before asking a question-
"Who made this?" Izanagi ask
"Kagutsuchi did," Hachiman says deadpan
"KAGUTSUCHI" Izanagi yells
"Yes Kagutsuchi," Hachiman says "I was surprised that she's the goddess of blacksmithing I forgot that"
"I think we all did," Says Ame popping out of her spear form and yawning "Good morning everyone"
"Morning," Says Izanagi re-assembling the doll "All right that should be good enough now then how do I start this"
-Izanagi starts looking at the doll before finding a circle and pattern on the doll and putting his hand on the circle his divine energy pours into it and the doll starts coming to life-
"Errr please input your level setting," the doll says robotically
"Put it at the highest level of course," Izanagi says smugly
"Answer accepted," The doll says preparing to fight
-Izanagi reaches out his hand for Amenonuhoko to come but she never comes-
"You know I want to sleep some more," Ame says smiling
-Izanagi dodges a sword strike from the doll seething rage-
"I'll get you back for this Izanagi says summoning his katana
-Izanagi's blade clashes with the doll as he pulls back-
"hey doll you're quite lucky I've decided not to use magic here give me your all," Izanagi says smirking
"Arrogance detected end fight quicker," the doll says unemotionally
-The doll blasts off at fast speed and swings its sword upward but Izanagi parries it effortlessly before cutting off its' arm-
"Yeah this fight will be ending quicker," Izanagi says still smirking
-The doll continues its attack with Izanagi parrying every blow before cutting off the doll's head-
"Jeez was that doll supposed to be hard maybe I'm just too strong," Izanagi says before leaving
"HEY IZANAGI WAIT FOR ME" Amenonuhoko screams
"ugh did you have to scream that," Izanagi says
"well I wanted to grab your attention somehow," Ame says as they keep on walking until they reach a door that's open
"You know maybe we shouldn't open this door and leave it closed but what fun would that be," Izanagi says smiling before opening it and seeing a sleeping Amateratsu surrounded by papers
"she must have been up the whole night doing this paperwork," Ame says before lifting up Amateratsu and putting her on a couch
-Izanagi looks around the room until he sees a portrait of himself with his current hairstyle and purple eyebags and his kids at a younger age-
"she's slowly becoming like me relying on nobody and trying to do it all yourself" Izanagi grits his hands "I don't want that for AMateratsu unlike me she's a good person she shouldn't be drowning in paperwork"
-Izanagi looks back at the paperwork stack before flexing his fingers and starting to do the work-
"the paperwork isn't really that much different from what I did during my time Izanagi thinks before continuing
-After some time Amateratsu wakes up with a jolt-
"DAD why are you doing the work that's for me I have to do it," Amaterasu says
"working by yourself isn't a good thing I learned that the hard way," Izanagi says trying to ease Amateratsu
"But I'm the leader if I can't do my own work who can count on me I have to do it" Responds Amateratsu
"You can't always do everything by yourself come on now come and help me with these papers" Amateratsu smiles before going over and starting to help Izanagi
-Time passes and all the paperwork is completed-
"Argh that was a lot of work I don't understand how you did it" Izanagi gets up and stretches before saying one more thing "Anytime you need help just call me also get some sleep"
-Amaterasu does a small smile before walking to the couch and just plopping down and Izanagi walks out of the room only to come face to face with Susanoo-
"Uh hi Susanoo," Izanagi says weakly before Susanoo gives him a scowl and walks off scoffing "Jeez I guess I deserved that our relationship hasn't always been the best"
-Izanagi walks out before Ame follows him making him jump-
"Jeez don't sneak up on people like that," Izanagi says breathing out
"Why didn't you wake me up from my nap," Amenonuhoko says questionably
"Why didn't you help me with the paperwork" Izanagi responds
"And you got me there," Amenonuhoko says "So where to next Mr. Explorer"
"hmmm I don't know there's nothing to do here maybe the library" Izangi continues pondering before hitting his fist on his hand "I know we'll go to Yomi and meet Izanami"
"Meet Izanami what for exactly?" Amenonuhoko says questioning him
"well the real reason is I wanna know what happened to Zeus" Izanagi sighed "He was an Ass terribly arrogant, A narcissist cheater too but it's unlike him to cause a war he was ambitious only in his own pantheon, and didn't care about others I wanna know when he changed"
-Izanagi and Amenonuhoko walk until they're in the woods somewhere-
"If I'm right it should be somewhere around here," Izanagi says pondering before seeing a rock with tails man tied around it "There it is found"
-Amenonuhoko starts shaking and hiding behind Izanagi-
"T-That's Yomi jeez the energy it gives off is so scary do we have to go in there" Amenonuhoko says
"I mean you can stay back if you're scared," Izanagi says
"I'm scared no way" Amenonuhoko replies
-As she says this the boulder starts to roll out of the way and she runs away screaming-
"Scardey cat," Izanagi said deadpanned summoning his katana "but whoever moved that rock has to be strong enough to break my seal on it"
-The boulder finally opens up and Izanagi comes face to face with Kagutsuchi before he de summons his katana-
"Kagutsuchi?" Izanagi says questionably "What are you doing out of Yomi and where's Izanami"
"Hmph I don't want to talk to you but if you must know I was going to go talk to Amaterasu about something that Lady Izanami asked about," Kagutsuchi says awkward silence filling the air
"Ah thanks for that," Izanagi says nervously
-Kagutsuchi starts walking away from Izanagi toward the palace not looking back till Izanagi says something-
"Hey Kagutsuchi about everything that's happened between us," Izanagi says fidgety
"You don't have to apologize if that's what you're trying to do I don't care anymore" Kagutsuchi says this and then disappears
"ah and yet I don't believe that," Izanagi says turning around to the rock "Welp here I go Yomi still gives me the creeps"
-Izanagi moves the rock out of the way before starting to walk down Yomi-
"Jeez this place is creepy the energy radiating off it is horrible" Izanagi complains before he notices someone following him "Who's there if you wanna follow someone you should be less discrete"
-The person comes out of the shadow they have long silky black hair that reaches to their waist along with snake-like eyes they're wearing a simple blue Yukata with brown sandals and white socks-
"What I follow you I would never, I just happened to be watching you from afar," The man says smiling and showing off his forked tongue "It's just that you smell like someone I know"
"Yeah that sounds a lot like following," Izanagi said deadpanned "What do you want anyway I don't have time for stalkers"
"you simply smell a lot like an old enemy of mine" The man takes a step farther and yet you aren't him
"Listen I don't really care about your sob story, I just need to know something," Izanagi says eyes furrowed and Katana at the ready "Whether or not you're going to attack me"
"attack you I would never do something as barbaric as that who do you think I am" The man says his smile growing even larger
"I know who you are Yamata no Orochi" Izanagi prepares to strike but Orochi starts laughing
"I'm not gonna attack you I'm far too weak half of my soul is in a sword anyway that Susanoo took" Orochi huffs "he could have at least respected me and not taken half of me away how sad"
-Izanagi furrows his eyebrows before walking away-
"If you're not here to fight then stop talking to me I'd rather not talk to a monster," Izanagi says with disgust in his tone before smirking "Honestly I couldn't believe your story was really you could've done anything else but yet you went after a family of ten"
"you think you're better than me I know who you are too or well I was able to discern it" At this Izanagi turns around and looks at Orochi "You don't smell like any of the dead and I haven't seen you around so you're not a helper of Izanami you also were able to enter Yomi meaning you would have to be a pretty strong god"
-The serpent's smile expands more and more-
"Am I close" Orochi starts smiling more and Izanagi grits his katana tighter "And that white hair the only person from Shinto who fits this description the god all the yokai feared Izanagi the kami of creation am I right cause if so you're worse than me"
-Izanagai tightens his hand on his katana before breathing out
"killing you wouldn't be worth my time go eat some more maidens since that's the only thing you did drunkard" Izanagi walks off his hand still gripping his katana till he comes to a path
-Izanagi looks around the path seeing one where all the yokai surround it before seeing another empty one-
the one that's empty is most likely where Izanami is no sane person would rush into her place" Izanagi is about to move there till someone comes running into the empty road "What the"
-Izanagi watches as the man yells for Izanami to fight him but is blown away by a blast-
"yeah that's definitely where Izanami is," Izanagi says before walking down the path
-Izanagi reaches the end of the path before seeing a smaller traditional place but instead, it's made of purple plates-
"Finally I'm here," Izanagi says and notices a massive hole in the wall and Izanami casually drinking tea "That must be the hole from the fight"
-Izanagi sighs before jumping into the hole and looking at Izanami in the eye who scowls-
"Why are you here," Izanami says a little bit tired
"I wanted to see you of course" Izanami spits out her tea before regaining composure
"Let me rephrase this what do you want" Izanami says peering at Izanagi
"How did you know I wanted something," Izanagi says innocently
"Everyone who visits me wants something or has ulterior motives," Izanami says somberly
"Would you have liked it if I came to just talk to you instead?" Izanagi says making Izanami a blushing mess "Also you have Kagutsuchi I can tell she cares about you very much so don't go saying stuff like that"
-Izanami smiles a little before returning to her normal face-
"so what is it that you want I can't say that I'll be able to provide it," Izanami says
"you seem a lot more gloomy than yesterday," Izanagi says
"I'm not really a morning person" Izanagi retorts sipping more tea
"well the reason I'm here is because I need your help finding out something," Izanagi says
"Me?" Izanami responds confused
"Yes I need to figure out what went wrong with Zeus" Izanagi starts pondering deeply looking a little sad
"oh you guys were friends," Izanami asked
"No I hated that guy" Izanagi looked her in the eye "but to cause a war is definitely not like him he's way more interested in chasing women than that"
-Izanami sighs before speaking-
"Well I think somebody from Yomi had something to do with his transformation" Izanami states
"Someone from Yomi but how," Izanagi says shocked "Who could've moved the boulder"
"To move the boulder someone doesn't have to be on your level of strength they only have to have the strength to beat the talisman," Izanagmi says
"And how do you know this" Izanagi says questionably
-Izanami sighs-
"there was a breakout of yomi by someone that corresponds with Zeus' descent into his warpath" Izanami puts her teacup down "Maybe it's a coincidence but I don't believe that finding the person who broke out is my main goal"
"based on what Hachiman says 100 years someone broke out of Yomi" Izanagi looked at Izanami and smiled "You must have been hard at work Izanami"
"It-it was a little hard but Kagutsuchi helped me out a lot" Izanami states smiling a little bit
"who in Yomi could have done such a thing," Izanagi asked
"I think it was most likely Orochi but he wouldn't be able to move the boulder with half his soul in Amateratsus' sword" Izanami ponders for a bit "Or maybe he's not that weak"
-Both of them continue thinking until they hear someone screaming-
"COME AND FIGHT ME IZANAMI I AM THE TRUE RULER OF YOMI A WORLD WHERE I DON'T RULE DOESN'T DESERVE TO EXIST" The man shouts
"ugh great him again" Izanami groans before shooting out a blast of energy sending the guy flying
-Izanami sighs while Izanagi looks confused-
"Who was that guy," Izanagi asked
"the old ruler of Yomi Shinigami," Izanami says "I beat him in a fight and took over Yomi he hasn't left me alone and keeps asking for a rematch"
-Izanagi starts laughing Making Izanami embarrassed-
"It's not funny he's annoying," Izanami says trying to shut up Izanagi
"Haven't you ever thought that he had a crush on you?" Izanagi says jokily
"NO," Izanami says suddenly serious before muttering something else "I only like one person"
"Huh what was that last part" Izanagi says leaning in
"It was nothing," Izanami says weakly before saying "Also Shouldn't you be preparing for the meeting with the other pantheons right now"
"what meeting that's like a few months away" Izanagi looked at Izanami who looked like she was about to burst out laughing "WHAT THEIRS A MEETING UGH I DIDN'T WNAT TO SEE ZEUS OR HERMES"
-At this point, Izanami starts laughing even harder and Izanagi gets up and rushes out and says a quick goodbye-
"What an idiot," Izanami says smiling
-We cut to Izanagi back in his military uniform and combing his hair before teleporting in front of a huge marble building-
"Good to know this place is still the same as usual but all the attention I'll get for coming back is gonna suck" Izanagi starts walking but then a booming Voice greets him
"Ah Izanagi is that you welcome back" The mysterious man says
"I recognize this voice even if it's been a long time the arrogance in the tone the feeling of superiority he exudes" Izanagi grits his hand before putting on a fake smile "Zeus I expected you to be here but I didn't expect to see you so early"
-Zeus does another boisterous laugh-
"Well greeting an old friend is really important wouldn't you agree," Zeus says
"I guess you're right" Izanagi puts his hand on his lip before asking a question "Ah Excuse my curiosity but how's Hermes"
-The air grows tense before Zeus answers-
"Ah Hermes is fine," Zeus says before thinking "You wanna play that game huh it won't matter since I'll destroy you and your pitful pantheon but let's play"
-Zeus lets out a laugh before asking his own question-
"Hermes is good he was attacked by a raving lunatic but let's not bother that how's Kagutsuchi I heard you guys had a great relationship," Zeus says slightly smirking
"Ah Kagutsuchi is fine how's your marriage Zeus" Izanagi says acting Innocent
"It's fine how's yours oh I forgot you-" Izanagi is cut off by another man interrupting their pseudo-fight
-The man's skin is a deep black tan and they have brown braided hair that goes down to the bottom of his feet his eyes are a golden brown and he's wearing a white usekh with some patterns and puffy white pants
"Both of you stop acting like Immature idiots you're here to represent your pantheon not get into pointless bickering," The man says walking with his hand behind his back
"Ra you haven't even greeted me why so serious" Izanagi complains
"Because I already rule a pantheon I don't have time to deal with two manchild's " Ra says disgust in his voice
"I'll have you know that I'm a fully grown capable adult" Izanagi says
"who runs away from his problems" Ra says this and silences Izanagi who huffs "now then since we're done with your little argument lets go to the reason that were here"
-All three of them start walking into the building and find their place and Izanagi looks around-
"Well I'm finally here lets see what that bastard Zeus has been doing" Izanagi thinks smiling
