The King of Fighters '96 Rebirth

This fiction is about The King of Fighters '94 characters story before and until the end of the tournament. I don't own The King of Fighters' characters, they belong to SNK.
Chapter 1: The Seal
Orochi was a divine entity which ruled the world. Orochi's clan protected the Earth for centuries. The eight strongest followers from the clan were called Hakkesshu, and the four wielding exceptional power were known as Heavenly Kings. With the grown from the civilization, the nature began to suffer and the natural balance of the world started to enter in collapsing because of the humanity.
1800 years ago, Orochi was disappointed with humanity and how they deal with the Earth, so he decided to extinguish once and for all the entire humanity. The Orochi clan and humanity fought a war until Kusanagi, Yata and Yasakani defeated him with the three mystical treasures. Orochi and the Hakkesshu were defeated and sealed.
660 years later, the master seal began to weaken. The three clans decided to move his vessel to another place. The Hakkesshu were sealed separately and they used that opportunity to free themselves. While the three clans were creating a new seal, one of the Hakkesshu killed the wife from the Yasakani Leader. With a disguise, the killer soon approached the head of Yasakani and blamed the Kusanagi clan as the responsible for that, saying that was propitiation for letting the seal get weaker. To make things worse, the body from the wife was found on Kusanagi land. Angry about the situation, the Yasakani made a blood pact with Orochi to gain the necessary means for vengeance. Earning the forbidden technique, Forbidden Method 1211: Eight Maidens, the Yasakani was renamed as Yagami clan.
1140 years later, on the present. Kyo Kusanagi was riding his motorcycle until he had to force a stop since on the middle of the street a man was standing up as there was no danger at all. The man was a blonde guy with black hair on the sides of his head. He was wearing a blue cloak with a small black cape on his shoulders. Once Kyo was forced to stop, he got out of the streets with his motorcycle.
"Who do you think you are? Standing on the middle of the streets like that!" Kyo was angry and away from the street the man followed Kyo.
"I was just anxious to meet the heir of the Kusanagi clan. Pardon me my methods. My name is Goenitz." He was very formal and still had an evil aura on him.
"What do you mean by that? How do you know me?" Kyo asked the mysterious man and was surprised by his actions.
"Haven't you defeat Rugal? It was me who gave him his partial power from the last year and was also me who took one of his eyes out." Goenitz said waiting for Kyo to get ready to fight.
"So, you're here for what? I can't let you leave after hearing about it." Kyo Kusanagi showed his conviction.
"And I'm here exactly to show you the discrepancy between you and me." Goenitz jumped behind and started the battle.
When Kyo approached Goenitz running he soon received a Wanpyou Mametsu from him, that was a blow where Goentiz extending his right arm and unleashing from under his arm some wind slashes cutting Kyo and sending him to the ground. He then did a Yonokaze making a hurricane to appear where Kyo was just with the movement of his fingers. "Is it here?" That was Goenitz words for his Yonokaze attack. Kyo haven't raised up yet and could do nothing about it. "You're really not a big deal. Maybe I was wrong about you." Goenitz said leaving Kyo hurt on the ground and leaving to some unknown place.
"Kyo!" Yuki found Kyo out of the streets lying on the ground and ran towards him. "Are you all right?" She asked him dialing the number to call an ambulance on her phone.
A day later, Kyo was hospitalized and woke up on the hospital bed with some flowers on his bed and Yuki on his side. "Thank god you woke up." Yuki said to him and he saw some letters from Daimon and Benimaru, along with his parents' letters.
What happened? How much time did I spend in here?" Kyo asked Yuki.
"Just one day." She answered without expression.
"Now I want you to tell me what made you get so hurt." Yuki said to Kyo waiting for some answers.
"It was a guy dressed as a priest, he was responsible for the Rugal new powers last year and was also the responsible for letting him without an eye. I need to tell Daimon and Benimaru, we're in danger." Kyo said to his girlfriend who was worried about him.
"That just mean you need to take care of your health and let the fight for the tournament, if there will be one after beating Rugal twice." Yuki said leaving Kyo for a while a bit angry because he always wanted to fight stronger fighters and that led him to the hospital.
Unknown Place – Sacred Temple.
Goenitz arrived at a temple passing the torii that was a sacred gate and found himself in front of a woman dressed like a priestess. She had long black hair and was guarding some kind of seal.
"So, you're the one standing between me and the seal. As I can see you're from Yata clan, right?" Goenitz said approaching himself.
"You have no business here. The Yata clan protects the seal for generations and I can't let you even touch the seal." She was determined to stop him.
"Sorry, forgive my rudeness. My name is Goenitz and I am one of the Hakkesshu. Who are you?" Goenitz introduced himself wanting to know his opponent's name.
"I am Maki Kagura and hearing you're one of the Hakkesshu just leave me no doubt that I must guard the seal." She said knowing the danger she was into, but it was her job to protect the seal and prevent a bigger disaster.
"If you stand in my way, I have no choice but to kill you." Goenitz said to her.
"Then what's left for us is a fight." Maki Kagura said.
Goenitz charged his Ki and let her approach him. Then he grabbed her with his left hand lifting her and doing a Yamidoukoku which consisted of a tornado hitting her while he was still grabbing her. "It is goodbye!" Said Goenitz releasing her while she fell to the ground. She didn't show no answer and Goenitz broke the seal from 1800 years ago. That would be the beginning of a fight between the good and evil to protect the earth while protecting the humans. While Goenitz sought to destroy all humanity for the sake of the Earth.
"Let's reunite again brothers and sisters, the seal is broken and soon our lord will be coming. We will prepare the proper host, this time without failures." That was Goenitz thinking out loud.
