A/N: I didn't like the song "This Small Whistle I Leave You." I thought it was just filler, especially because Esmeralda never even uses the whistle! (Frollo's approaching her has already happened, unlike in the novel where it happens after Quasimodo gives her the whistle.) I thought a reprise of "Home in the Sky" would fit better in its place, so I wrote this.

Quasimodo: Esmeralda, my friend, sanctuary is yours.

You will be safe here behind Notre Dame's doors.

You need not fear the men seeking to harm you.

You can rest assured, I'll take care of you.

Quasimodo & Esmeralda: Here in my home so high,

Even in winter we're warm.

From all troubles we fly

To take shelter from the storm.

Esmeralda: If my Phoebus you see,

Will you bring him to me?

Quasimodo: When the day is done

Do you still long for the sun?

You still long for your sun.
