Everyone has a journey that they go through in life. The journey has its purpose and you'll eventually get to a point where you'll realize why certain things happened and why it happened the way it did. Maybe it was to help you learn something or help you to realize certain things. Maybe you were supposed to learn to let go of something or someone that was holding you back so that it can help with propelling you into the right direction and to the place you were meant to be at. For Audrey Matthews, she was fighting so hard for what she wanted, that she didn't want to give up. Even if that meant laying on the floor, crying her eyes out and silently begging for help because she felt like she couldn't go on anymore.

Walking around in the park, ten minutes away from her childhood home in London, on a cloudy and rainy day, Audrey had managed to catch a break in between rain showers and was wanting to hide from the world in the process. It was a decent sized park that was well kept, considering the neighborhood. Walkways with trees that lined it with well maintained grass. There were little sections of gardens where people would grow different kinds of flowers when the season was just right for it. Benches well sectioned out, some with the shade of the trees covering it. Those always seemed to be favorites when the weather was nice out, especially in the warmer months. There was a children's playground in the middle of the park, though nobody was there today and the few people that were there, were just strolling along.

Audrey made her way to the playground and managed to find a swing that had dried enough to not wet her clothes if she sat. At 5 foot 10, she wasn't always tall until she became a teenager, that she hit a growth spurt. Now at 18, she had dark chocolate colored hair that reached the middle of her back, green eyes and full lips with some lip gloss that had applied before she got to the park. She was shy and sometimes awkward, and was desperately trying to grow out of it. Quiet, but the more comfortable she was with someone, the more of her personality that would shine through with them. Audrey had started University at the age of 16 at the University of Oxford for Computer Science. She saw this as her ticket out and to a better life that she had always dreamed of and wanted to believe she deserved.

"Why are you sad?" Asked a voice.

Audrey looked up to see a tall gentlemen standing a few feet away from her. He was 6 foot 3 at least and over 200 pounds with dark hair that looked like was being grown out, a goatee and brown eyes. The man was tan and had on a black sweater with jeans and sneakers. Audrey looked down at what she was wearing, which happened to be black tights with ankle boots and a white t-shirt underneath a grey coat.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you or intrude." The man said. He also sounded American. "Just wanted to make sure you were okay."

"Thanks." Audrey replied softly in a British accent. "I've had better days."

The man looked at her and knew she was special. He just wasn't sure what that was, just yet. Despite the sadness in her eyes, there was still a sparkle in them and something about her, let him know that she was going to be something big one day, if she wasn't already. But at the moment, he just wanted to make sure she wasn't going to do anything that may hurt her.

"My name's Joe. Joe Anoa'i. What's yours?" He asks.

"Audrey Matthews." She replies shyly, after hesitating momentarily.

They heard a noise come from a distance and both looked around to see a man walking towards them. He was over 6 feet and over 200 pounds of muscles with blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail and a beard. He had a pair of jeans and boots with a black jacket and his hands in his pockets.

"This is my cue to go." Audrey quietly says, quickly standing up and pushing her hair behind her ears. "It was nice meeting you."

"Is that your dad?" Joe asks.

Looking at Joe, she shook her head. "No, but he's like family."

Joe wondered if she was always soft spoken or if she was just like that with people she didn't know. He watched as she walked over to the man that was now a few feet away from them and heard him ask her if she was okay. He sounded American as well and wondered how long he had been here in England.

"Nice meeting you." Joe says before they walk away.

Audrey looks back and gives him a small smile, but the smile doesn't reach her eyes. Joe could feel the sadness coming from her, and for some reason it bothered him knowing that she wasn't happy at the moment. He had an urge to do something to make her smile and for that smile to be genuine, not out of just being polite. The only problem was, he doesn't live in England. Joe lives all the way on the opposite side of the Atlantic Ocean, in the United States. He's never lived this far from home before and he wasn't sure he wanted to because he didn't want to be so far away from his family. Joe didn't know if he would ever see Audrey again, but he wished her well and hoped that her troubles would soon pass.
