it's a nice sunny day in the east blue. The sun is shining. The birds are singing. Everything is going peacefully.
on an island called dawn island, there lives a young boy, who is destined for greatness.
his name... monkey D Luffy.
as young 7 year old Luffy walks around the forest. He thinks to himself.
(dumb old grandpa, thinking I should be a marine. What's so great about being a marine?. It's dumb thought Luffy).
as he keeps on walking, he spots a chest on the ground. He knees down and begins to try and open it with a rock.
after opening it, to his surprise, he finds a strange looking fruit along with a book.
huh?. What's a fruit and a book doing inside a chest? Asked Luffy confused.
I better look to see if it tells anything about the fruit said Luffy as he starts reading the book.
as Luffy reads it he learns that the fruit is called a devil fruit. It's name...
the dog dog fruit: model fire fox. A mythical Zoan type that lets the user turn into a fire based animal.
it gives the user fire powers. Claws sharp as 7 razors. Gives the user super hearing and smell. Grants limitless energy.
and as a bonus, can grant teleportation.
after reading the book. Luffy grabbed the devil fruit. And forced it into his stomach.
after that Luffy started feel energetic. He feels like he can outrun the world.
just like that Luffy was running back to tell his friend Makino.
After showing off his power to Makino. Luffy waited for Shanks at the docks.
after seeing the red haired pirates ship, Luffy was excited.
Shanks, you won't believe what I found today on the forest said Luffy. Try me said Shanks with a smile.
hearing this he began to change. Luffy started turning into a red fox, what's more. He's on fire.
Luffy. You ate a devil fruit?! Screamed Shanks in shock.
yep. The dog dog fruit: model fire fox said Luffy with a smile.
Luffy you fool!. Don't ya know you can't swim ever again?! Asked Shanks.
I was never great at it anyways said Luffy.
your something else kid said Shanks.
still think I'm not pirate enough Shanks? Asked Luffy. Yes. Your going to need to get big and strong, if you want to run with the big boys Luffy said Shanks.
then I'll prove I'm cut out for pirating. When I'm old enough. I'll have my own pirate crew. And fight evil pirates. And keep good people safe said Luffy with pride.
in that case how about you set sail at age 17?. Seems good enough, right? Asked Shanks.
hmm. I guess it can work. Very well, I'll set sail at 17 years old said Luffy.
good to hear. Now then. Let us drink said Shanks with a happy smile.
after that day, Luffy got forced to train with his grandfather Garp.
as Luffy trained his body and his devil fruit abilities. He gets stronger.
he gets better at using the arts of Rokushiki.
as time went on. Luffy meets two boys who became his friends.
as time went on. Luffy and his friends Ace and Sabo enjoyed their time together.
after Ace and Sabo turned 17. They left to be their own pirates.
as the years passed Luffy finally turned 17.
Luffy is wearing a red sleeveless vest. A pair of shorts. Some sandals. As well a pair of gloves.
hmm. Looks like today is a good day to set sail to be a pirate. I'll be needing a strong crew, I'll probably need like 10 or more. I'll see in time said Luffy with a smile.
let's see here. Food for 15 days. 50,000 Barrie's. Ok, I'm ready to be a pirate said Luffy as he stepped onboard his small boat.
as Luffy set sail away from his home island. He feels like something is off.
just like that a giant sea king pops out of the water. It looks at Luffy with a hungry look.
looks like the rumors are true. A sea king has been here for 2 years now. Looks like I need to put you down, so fishermen can fish in peace again said Luffy with a smile.
the sea king roars at Luffy.
[wind blade kick!] yelled Luffy sending a flying slash at the sea king.
just like that the slash attack cuts through the sea king's neck.
sending the head to the bottom of the ocean.
the body followed behind.
great. Now to keep on sailing to the great unknown said Luffy.
look out world!. I'm coming for ya said Luffy.
