- Brauron (2000 BC)-

If it were up to Phoebe, she wouldn't be here. Her career of being a hunter already spanned nearly a century, and she hunted monsters and beasts worse than the average man can imagine. But this was something else.

The last thing she heard from her family was that her half-nephew took over from her half-brother, who saved her from her stepfather's wrath by smuggling her out of the city before she joined the Hunters of Artemis. Entering the shattered palace worsened everything.

The palace she was once so acquainted with had become unrecognizable to her. She could see the sunlight filtering through the palace marble walls, creating a sparkling effect in the ash-filled air. Phoebe walked through the Palace hallway looking at the corpses and the air was heavy with the stench of death that she covered her nose to avoid gagging.

Phoebe couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the mangled bodies of children. She stood there, frozen in shock, her face contorted in horror, before running out of the palace.

Her fellow sisters looked queasy and pale, unable to shake off the sight of the carnage. Their life as semi-immortal hunters under Artemis meant that they were on the hunt for monsters and beasts. They were unfamiliar with something like this. The scale of the massacre was reflected in the sheer number of corpses around them and in the city.

Trembling from the nausea, Phoebe looked up at Artemis. The sight of the auburn-haired goddess clenching her silver bow and arrows angrily would have made most gods avoid her. But even now she was slowly losing control over her form, as silver light shimmered around threateningly to reveal her true form.

"My lady," Phoebe yelped as she averted her eyes away, as no mortal can survive seeing the true form of immortals.

Artemis realized what she was doing and controlled her anger and the silver light faded away before she whispered softly to her huntress, "I am sorry... You were born here, weren't you?"

With a clenched jaw, Phoebe nodded, remembering her unpleasant experiences in this place. It was still the place where she was raised by her mother.

"The people of Brauron..." said Artemis before she shook her head and ruffled her huntress hair affectionately before looking at her with worried eyes, "How are you feeling?"

"This was once my home... but I left it behind once I joined you, my lady." Phoebe said with a quivering lip.

"I will never forgive this! My patron city destroyed-" Artemis growled, and her voice turned cold with anger, "The summer solstice is next week, I will inform father of this immediately and this will be brought up at the solstice!"

Suddenly a rainbow shimmered into existence next to Artemis, who whirled around to see her lieutenant Kallisto calling through an Iris Message.

Kallisto trained her bow on something outside the message while speaking in a strained voice. "My lady, there's something to show you. It's important."

"What is it?" Artemis asked her lieutenant with a sharp look.

"We followed your orders and are setting traps all around the perimeter," reported Kallisto before shaking her head and whispers, "I think we found the man responsible for this."

Artemis nodded before she waved a hand in the air and she and her group teleported in a silver flash.

Wandering the city, a lone man deftly keeping his balance over the ruins of the marble city. He walked around dazed, mumbling incoherently to himself.

The edge of his torn and tattered, dirty cloak trailed through the blood as he stepped on a torched body, breaking the burned husk into pieces.

"So, what happened here?" The man asked to himself before he stumbled as a shard of memory came to him before it quickly dissipated away.

His tired blue eyes then caught his own reflection in a bronze mirror hanging askew from scorched marble. His clothes must have had been regal once, but they were now torn and dirty, thick with the same gold dust and blood that covered his hair and skin.

For a moment, he fingered the symbol on his metallic headband, that was loosely tied around his neck, a leaf. It meant something, that symbol. The symbol could not hold his attention long. He then gazed at his own image with as much wonder as if he hadn't seen it for decades. He was a tall man, still handsome, but now with hair already more white than blonde and his face adorned whisker like birthmarks. His eyes were dark, haunting blue eyes that had seen too much.

The blonde man chuckled, then threw back his head; his laughter echoing around him.

Suddenly, he whirled around to see a net thrown towards him. Immediately his instinct flared and with a graceful leap, he rose into the air gracefully and landed on a lone pillar next to a white marble statue of a naked man holding a bolt of lightning.

The blonde man as he glanced at the statue with a grimace before muttering, "What did they say his name was... Was it Zoro... that's wrong... Zoz no... I think it's Zissy," he muttered before nodding to himself, "Yes, it's Zissy!"

A silver arrow narrowly missed his face as he tilted his head to the side. A silver glint caught his eye, and he froze as a shower of arrows was fired in his direction. Immediately, he took a step backwards and fell off the statue and onto the ground. The man felt a mesh of bronze threads woven together underneath him.

"Why does this look like a net?" With a look of deep concentration, the man's expression suddenly turned to shock as he realized he was standing on a net. The net sprung into the air and he began screaming and cursing in a language he no longer used, his native tongue.

The people who ensnared him on the net emerged in groups. They were led by two females that stood out.

Among those two was a girl with pale skin, her black hair braided with a silver ringlet, dressed in a flowing white tunic. Standing tall and graceful, she fixed him with a furious gaze, and her upturned nose conveyed her disgust. And in her hands was a silver bow, nocked with a silver arrow pointed at him.

The other person had a ponytail of braided auburn hair around her neck. She had fierce and dark rusty red eyes full of glee. Her clothing resembled a mesh of nets. Woven nets formed from the thread.

The black-haired girl looked at him with a disgust, "Do you understand what he is saying, Britomartis?"

The girl called Britomartis shook her head in amusement. "Kallisto, my dear. That's not Greek or Minoan, it's foreign language."

"He must be a demigod then..." Britomartis continued with an amused look before frowning. "I bet that he is a product of my father flings or one Apollo's spawns from a distant country. It's uncommon to see blue eyes or blonde hair here."

"I will give you a chance..." a hoarse and broken whisper escaped from the blonde man's throat. Immediately, both of them whirled around in surprise and judged him with hostile eyes.

"So, you can speak Greek!?" asked Kallisto with narrowed eyes.

"What is Greek?" he asked, looking bewildered at the group of girls. "Some food?"

Immediately Kallisto whispered something underneath her breath and threw a coin into a trickling and heavily damaged fountain that was sparkling a rainbow under the sun. Immediately, an image formed in the rainbow. There was a lady in that rainbow, but he ignored her, and the bows pointed towards him.

Another memory hit him, and he began to suppress the feeling and it faded away. Immediately, a head splitting headache made him and suddenly the desire to kill crossed his mind.

"I must not!" he thought. He winced in pain. A redheaded woman and a group of girls suddenly materialized in a silver flash next to Kallisto and Britomartis.

"We found him wandering the city alone talking to himself, Artemis." Britomartis told them softly. "I trapped him in one of my nets. I asked him some questions and every answer he replied with makes little sense."

"Let him down," he heard a woman order Britomartis and the rope holding the net was cut down. The man tumbled down; he remained laying there staring at the blazing stars, ignoring the orders from the woman.

Suddenly, two girls from the pulled him up to his knees and his blue eyes met the silvery eyes that were filled with suspicion and anger.

"What's your name?" the silver-eyed woman asked him with a calm voice.

That was the worst question she could have asked him and something within him welled up and he could barely keep it from raising the surface.

"Why would I tell a stranger my name?" the blonde man said to her. "It's a common courtesy to give your name before you ask someone their name."

The redhead woman blinked in surprise and hushed the outburst from her group and peered directly at his eyes.

"I am Artemis. Goddess -"

"A goddess!" the man blurted out with shock before relief filled his eyes and he remembered everything he had done in his life, before he felt himself caving in and the suppressed madness filled his mind and then told her with a faraway look, "A goddess... Maybe you are the one who can help me."

"A goddess... Maybe you are the one who can help me."

That question threw Artemis's mind off the course as she stared at the suspect who could have razed down her patron city and she repeated the words to make sure she had not misheard him, "Help you?"

"You will?!" the man exclaimed with delight, then pleaded, "I've waited for ages - SHUT UP!"

Artemis was alarmed by the man's deepening voice as he spoke the last two words with contempt.

"Why? I didn't care for eons! But once I saw some semblance-" ranted the blonde man with wild eyes before they were cutoff as he suddenly clutched his head tightly and his tone shifted back to what it was once was and his blue eyes and then reached out for the goddess, "Hey my mother had red hair like yours but hers was redder and longer..."

Artemis blinked at the man's words. Artemis heard the twang of Britomartis' bowstring and the whoosh of an arrow as it flew. Her arrow found its mark, hitting the man in the neck and sending him tumbling to the ground face first, where her other hunters quickly joined in, raining arrows down on him.

Artemis glared at her half-sister, who was once a former hunter, now a minor goddess, and said, "We'll talk later. I wanted to take him to Olympus so father can hand him a judgement if he was the one who destroyed."

"He is insane," Britomartis said, eyeing the blood forming on the ground. "You didn't see him walk and talk while he was alone. He stepped on the bodies, before he looked at himself in a mirror and broke into laughter for no reason."

Artemis heard the man mumbling something as he laid on a pool of his own blood, and she then looked at him with a raised eyebrow as he staggered up to his feet and then grabbed the arrow protruding from his neck and ripped it out.

Artemis immediately reacted by pointing her bow at the man's head and told him, "Don't move."

The man just arched his back and the arrows penetrating his back popped out. Steam came out from his wounds on his back and neck, and they started closing until his skin was fully healed with no signs of scars, much to the surprise of Artemis.

"Ah my other self is an idiot and a weakling..." He said the blonde man as he then stared at Artemis with a glare, "We have gotten more insane as time went on... He just wishes time to turn back to the days where this body was one was called by the name Uzumaki Naruto."

"Who are you?" Kallisto asked him with a disgusted expression.

"I just introduced myself..." Naruto said before he doubled over and groaned before screaming at them with a terrified voice, "No... Don't you dare..."

Then Naruto felt power and his madness surged, before he felt his body began to change as his other side came out.

He then moved towards Britomartis, whose eyes widened as she barely blocked his fist aimed for her skull before he avoided the silver arrows that were fired in his direction.

"Not bad..." Naruto said with a feral look as his blue eyes changed briefly, and then a repelling shockwave burst out from his body that threw the hunters into the air, and he swept his hand through the now fully white hair and felt the curved horns on his head, "I think I look more handsome in this form... What do you think?"

"No one touches my hunters gets away with it!" whispered Artemis and then her silvery eyes narrowed as she told him, "I will send you to Tartarus myself!"

"That place?" Naruto said with a cackle and told her, "It's just a place where your fodder goes when they die? I arrived there a couple of days ago when I entered this universe and then climbed my way out of that stinking pit!"

He then hissed in pain as Artemis slashed his arm with her long hunting knives and he growled at her, "You will pay for that!"

-A week later-

Apollo happily strummed a chord on his lyre as he mused his thoughts on what was happening. Olympus has been quiet for some time now. Hera thought she had Zeus under the spell, as he told her hasn't been seeing other women. That was the furthest from the truth. Zeus had been seeing a woman named Semele.

He then went to the silver temple that belonged to his twin sister and knocked and waited for an answer. In response to the silence, he said, "She must be on a hunt. She promised she will listen to my new tune before the summer solstice!"

His blue eyes then glowed, an intense golden color as his vision was extended. Though he didn't have Helios' sharp vision that could see everything the sun touched during the day, he could see well enough to know that Artemis and her hunters were camped near Mesopotamia in southeastern Anatolia.

In a flash of golden light, he dematerialized to the middle of the camp in a golden flash.

"Hey, Arte- HOLY ZEUS!" He yelped as he teleported away instantly as dozens of arrows slammed into where he was.

Poking his head through the edge of the clearing where the hunters were camped, Apollo reappeared, and he was taken aback by what he saw.

Nearly all of Artemis's hunters were bandaged from head to toe. Some of them had their bows out, pointing towards him with wild dark eyes that were deprived of sleep. Upon inspection, he frowned, as Apollo noticed many looked as if they had just come back from the brink of death.

Artemis herself was a wreck. Mud, grime, and exhaustion had marred her face. She had injuries in both her legs and midsection. Her leg was bent unnaturally while her midsection was bleeding golden ichor. She had a heavily bandaged throat, as if it had been punctured. Artemis's silvery eyes were wild with fear as she aims her silver bow towards him, already nocked with seven arrows.

"Hey Artemis, what's wrong?" Apollo asked, with a concerned expression. It paled as he saw Artemis pull the string tighter before he drew his own bow in order to intercept the arrows if he was shot at. Getting an arrow to the face from Artemis is something he wants to avoid.

Slowly she lowered her bow down as she recognized his godly aura and face before her knees gave out and she collapsed onto the ground bawling her eyes out.

To say Apollo was feeling stunned was an understatement. In the six hundred years he lived; He never saw Artemis cry or throw a tantrum. Instead, she just got angry and beat up her target of ire or take her frustration through hunting. Callisto's banishment or a huntress's death was the only time she looked sad. Now he couldn't make heads or tails of what was causing her to cry so intensely on his shoulder.

Her hunters were in even worse shape. Broken bones and bandages were found on all, with fatalities among them. He saw Britomartis taking care of the wounded in a tent, even though she had also been injured like Artemis.

It looks like he was supposed to be the responsible sibling this time.

Apollo then muttered an incantation before snapping his fingers. Immediately, the bruises faded from his sister hunter's faces, their cuts and scars disappeared. He quickly checked on Artemis for injuries by passing his hand over her face.

Immediately, concern flooded Apollo as he checked on her broken leg before realizing her spine had been nearly broken in half by someone. That wasn't all. Her eyes showed signs of a concussion from a repeated powerful blow that gave his sister a high level of head trauma that no mortal or demigod could survive from. Despite the god's immortality, Artemis couldn't heal right now. She was in a deep shock, making wounds that should have been healed in a matter of days remain open.

Apollo then split his essence into two, and he then grabbed Britomartis and carried Artemis on his back

"Come on," Apollo told the goddesses and then teleported them to Mount Olympus throne room with a golden flash, leaving behind some of his essence to heal and tend his sister hunters.

-Mount Olympus-

Hestia sat on her throne, blowing her mousy brown away from her flickering eyes that kept changing between warm and cozy flames to warm brown eyes as she stared at her sister Hera's straining brown eyes intending to win the staring contest that was started by Hera.

Hera's brown eyes were already turning ichor shot, before they started to twitch from the strain. After all, they have been going for it for six hours. Immortals had the time for that. Besides, it's a wonderful distraction for Hera's marriage problems.

They were interrupted by a golden flash that made Hera's eyes squint and blink in surprise.

"Ha I won," Hestia told her with a glee as Hera pouted before Hestia reminded her with an amused smile, "Now you know what to do, don't you Hera?"

"Fine... I will do that for the next year..." Hera groaned as she buried her face into her hands, "Why did it have to be you? WHAT THE HADES HAPPENED!"

Hestia whirled around in surprise to see a heavily bleeding Artemis on Apollo's back, while another of her brother's children, Britomartis, was heavily leaning on Apollo.

Hestia immediately rushed over to Apollo to help him, asking him, "What happened?"

"I stumbled upon Artemis and the hunters in the forest, they were like this," Apollo said with uncertainty to his aunt.

Suddenly a thunder clap echoed through Olympus Throne room and Zeus appeared in the room looking utterly pleased with himself, before he looked at his daughters and saw their conditions and his face became enraged before he sat on his throne and another bolt of lightning shook Olympus.

Poseidon was the first to arrive, followed by Hermes and then Demeter, all of them sat on their thrones immediately. Athena and Hephaestus came together already in deep discussion, before reading the room and sitting in their respective's thrones. The last two to come, as always, were Ares and Aphrodite. They immediately flinched at the glare Zeus sent to the direction and hurried to their thrones.

Hestia and Apollo eased Artemis to her throne, and Britomartis sat cross-legged next to the throne before she slumped to its side and stayed there.

Apollo and Hestia sat at their thrones and Zeus voice rumbled, "I did not except to start the summer solstice like this! What happened, my daughters?"

Artemis glanced at Britomartis, who just nodded in encouragement before addressing her father, "My Patron City, Brauron in Attica, was razed down a week ago. Nothing remains there."

Surprised mutters sprang around the rest of the Olympians before all of them looked at Ares, who shook his head and said, "There is no war in the land of Greek right now... I will have known if there is an army marching somewhere or a fleet of ships preparing to attack something."

Zeus became more disturbed by that fact and rounded on his daughters, and he told them, "I want you two to start from the beginning."

Britomartis and Artemis nodded and began to recount what had happened a week ago.

- Mainland Greece -

Naruto's eyes scoured the earth as he looked for something he discreetly needed before they glanced at the cracks forming on his eighth body from the stress of overwhelming power within this body.

"Bah, this body is not completable!" he thought to himself before he was forcibly thrust into his mind and he looked at the human side of himself. "You are better than before..."

"I suppressed my memories and wanted to live a peaceful life but you always were lurking below the surface, " his human side muttered with a sigh and then glared at him, "This madness within the body is a result from slow degradation of body and mind from the overwhelming power we have..."

"Well, you chose a weakling from an inferior primitive species..." he scoffed at his human with an arrogant snort, "Everything on this rock is primitive... Your race of humans was tolerable and advanced."

"And you are an alien parasite," replied his human side with a look of disgust before telling himself, "You have to look for a decent choice this time. You can't just mark someone who can not handle your side."

"Oh, come on, where is the trust..." he said to his human side, " We promised to work together until our goal was done? Why do we keep fighting over the bodies? Now if we had the fox and the others-"

"Kurama and the others are hidden from you for their protection!" his human side snarled. "I am protecting them from my you! You and the other Ōtsutsuki! And that is not all. You just keep killing anything around you that you view as inferior. The humans in that city called me a buffoon for struggling to speak Greek, and your side came out and killed them because of that. Then you attracted that goddess' attention and nearly killed her group, but left alive so you can humiliate them again for your amusement!"

"Now don't be a hypocrite..." the Ōtsutsuki side of Naruto said to the human side, "You don't have a problem with killing. You were indifferent when you fed Urashiki to a Ten-Tails on a planet and watched the divine tree grow and drain all life, not caring for the planet's population as they did not look like humans and ate the chakra fruit from that tree."

"That race was better off dead. They killed each other all the time, ate their own babies... " the human side of Naruto just told his Ōtsutsuki side and continued, "The rate they were going at was enough to drive them to extinct in a couple of centuries. But they had evolved enough to control their cells and genetics. So, I harvested that fruit for that ability."

"And you changed the half extracted karma data to include your own genes to avoid being taken over by the Ōtsutsuki, who was threatening to take over your body." The Ōtsutsuki side said with a shake of his head, "And then changed the extracted data to sever the Ōtsutsuki soul from your body, who was using it as an anchor and watched that soul extinguish to nothing."

"But traces of his soul are still mixed with mine, which always results in this split personality." The human side of Naruto said, "I occupy the humans genes and you occupy the Ōtsutsuki genes."

"Things were going fine until we found some humans that looked like your kind living on this planet and dimension." Complained the Ōtsutsuki side of him with a growl, "Do you really want to stay here and live in peace and not find another Ten-Tails to plant on this planet so we can harvest another fruit?"

Suddenly both sides of Naruto's sensed something in the forest.

It was a child on the verge of death, probably abandoned by their parents. Rage and regret filled the human side of Naruto while the Otsutuski side of Naruto just looked indifferent and said, "You know what we need to do?"

Naruto's physical body appeared at the dying child and cradled him before he his hand touched the dying baby and marked him with the Shinjutsu mark that was Kāma.

Before he saw more cracks forming on his body and his skin became ashy. Working in union, both sides of Naruto reversed the effects on the body, but knew it can not be delayed forever. Naruto's soul needed someone to raise his new body before this body crumbled away.

"What..." a confused voice echoed in the dim room.

"That not possible..." another voice said with a frown, "Did a thread just disappear?"

"It just burned up to nothing..." a third voice said with a shake of her head, "That string belonged to a child of a farmer who abandoned him in the forest. He was fated to die today from hunger."

"Besides we have more pressing issues..." said the first voice, "Zeus asked to look at every mortal and being and identify their threads to find the person responsible who caused Olympus to be in uproar."

- Aetolia -

Lysimachia was a Naiad who spent most of her centuries hiding in the depths of her lake from the god's attention. She talked to fishes and occasionally drowned humans who pissed her off when they disrespected her lake.

One day she just minding her own business, when she heard a voice echo across the lake, "I know you are there. Come out before I erase this lake and you, Naiad."

She poked her head from the depths of the lake and saw a hooded person cradling a baby. Her eyes locked into him. She slowly made her way to the shore of the lake to see the hooded person and she saw a malnourished baby in their arms. Immediately she felt pity for the baby and then peered through the hood to see a cold but handsome being. He looked impassively at her.

"I will come back in a decade... if the baby dies while he is under your care." The man said with a voice of authority that shook her core, "This lake will be erased at the moment of his death. I already made sure of it!"

Lysimachia gulped fearfully and her pale hands, tinted with color blue, grabbed the baby and cradled the baby before she said.

"The Boy name is Naruto." she heard him say before the hooded person began to float midair and her eyes widened. "Be a wonderful mother to him. His parents abandoned him in a forest. I will grant you a wish when I come to collect the child sometime later."

"It seems we are in agreement..." the human side of Naruto said to the Ōtsutsuki side of himself as the body occupied flew away from the region and then floated in the air staring at the sunset, "Don't you feel something?"

"When you mention it, does it even matter?" chuckled the Ōtsutsuki side as he felt out the body. "This body's senses have been dulled enough. This is the last day..."

"Since it's a human vessel, we are taking over this time. Both of our minds will fuse. We will be one again," said the human side of Naruto to his Ōtsutsuki side, who just nodded in agreement.

"Actually, that is fine with me," said the Ōtsutsuki side of Naruto before he told his human side, "I think this is for the better..."

Both of them looked through the eyes they shared and saw stormy skies before noticing their fingers were crumbling away as they thought in union, "Well, this is it. New body."

A mighty groan cut through the sky, the air glowed, and every hair on his dying body stood up. A blast of lightning hit the dying body, vaporizing Naruto in an instant. The resulting explosion was so bright that of Greece saw the pillar of lightning in the sky that shook the earth.

-Mount Olympus-

Hestia frowned as she felt Zeus's master bolt shake the entirety of Greek landmass, eradicating the being that Artemis and Britomartis were beaten by. Helios had located him in Zeus domain and informed Zeus.

Zeus, being Zeus, choose the master bolt and smote the being that traumatized his daughters and crippled the hunters of Artemis.

"Don't you think you overdid it?" she asked her brother with a raised eyebrow.

"I held back..." Zeus told her with a grunt and then looked at his eldest sister. "Besides, he deserved it... Olympus and gods should not be disrespected like that. Where are they?"

"Leto, Demeter and Athena are helping them," Hestia informed her brother before telling him, "I should leave and help them."

A/N: Hello R8handman here... this story had been in the drafts for so long as I kept delaying it and rewriting it for three years. I would continue it if there is enough interest in it. The first part of the story will be in the ancient times of Greek. There will be other pantheons popping in time by time. But this Naruto is not the Naruto you know. He can be selfish or just indifferent, but there is madness lurking inside of him he alone understands.

Yes, I took the concept of Demigod and twisted it to Demi- Ōtsutsuki for fun. Naruto will have tendencies to act like a Ōtsutsuki sometimes like wanting to evolve to Ōtsutsuki godhood or just finding most humans and demigods or some minor gods as unimpressive.

I choose to write this story and post it since I am getting overwhelmed with Piracy of the Last Jinchuriki. Don't worry, an update is on the way for that story. University will keep me busy for a while, but updates will hard to come by.

As for shipping... I don't know? I will keep thinking up for a paring. Who would want to be with a wild, and a bit crazy immortal Naruto?

Next chapter is baby Naruto being raised by Lysimachia,
