Another chapter! Yay! I never had one myself. If I saw the prom's of other schools I was like: '' I want that too...''
Except... I dislike to wear dresses...lol

Enjoy the new chapter!

Rhonda's new house was no joke. Her parents had a villa built on the edge of Hillwood with a Grand hall, 2 living rooms, a dining room aka party room, kitchen, 8 bedrooms, each with a bathroom and several toilets.

The backyard was large and included a swimming pool with diving board, a Jacuzzi and a landscaped garden with a pond.

Arnold arrived with Helga, Gerald and Phoebe and when they all went out together, Arnold couldn't believe his eyes.

'' Serious? She lives here now?'' Arnold said in disbelief.

'' Yes. Now she's totally a princess.'' Helga said, rolling her eyes.

'' Come on! Let's make a grand entrance!'' Gerald said and the four of them went inside.

Before they entered the Grand hall, Arnold saw that his shoelace was loose and he knelt down to tie it.

"Go ahead." Arnold said to Gerald and Phoebe.

Gerald and Phoebe walked together to the entrance of the grand hall and walked inside.

When Gerald and Phoebe reached about the middle of the room, Rhonda walked over to them.

'' Welcome! Gerald, as always you look flexible. And Phoebe, so elegant. That color looks good on you.'' Rhonda said.

Gerald and Phoebe looked at each other. Rhonda and her slime behavior.

Rhonda herself didn't look bad either. She wore a long red dress that hugged her body and parted downwards.

She wore a white belt, a white scarf, a white headband and a pearl necklace with matching pearl earrings.

''You're also dressed chicly. Famous designer I guess?'' Phoebe said and as Phoebe thought, Rhonda started to grin.

''My dress was designed by Louise Gautier. He's even here to see everyone.'' Rhonda said and motioned to the Frenchman.

Mr. Gautier walked up and saw the couple and was looking at them and smiled.

''The dress is beautiful and suits your skin beautifully. Good choice, young lady.'' Mr. Gautier said in a French accent and then looked at Gerald.
"When I see you like this, I see myself in a bar related to music."

Gerald started to grin. He was happy with the compliment. Phoebe was less impressed by this French banquette.

"By the way, shouldn't Arnold and Helga come with you or is Helga afraid to show herself?" Rhonda asked.

Suddenly there was a sound of surprise and many looked towards the entrance of the hall. Arnold neatly guided Helga inside at his side.

Everyone looked at Arnold and Helga. Arnold, who stood in the blue vest and trousers, the dark blue shirt that was open at the top, his hair that gave a neat but shabby impression, had his hand high in which Helga's hand lay and guided her to the hall.

Helga who was beautiful in her dress, the glitter that shimmered on her dress, the shimmer lotion that reflected her skin and her hair was magically made up, her appearance made time stand still.

"This isn't possible -..." Rhonda said softly, full of unbelief, until she was rudely interrupted by Mister Gautier, who started talking rapidly in French and got all excited at the appearance of Arnold and Helga.

Arnold and Helga didn't know how to react with a weirdo like this guy.

''Um...sir. We don't understand you. Do you speak English?'' Arnold asked uncomfortably.

Mr. Gautier stopped and broke into a big grin. ''This is magnificent! Simply unbelievable! This is the first time that I have been able to admire this creation up close."

"It's just a dress..." Arnold said but Mr. Gautier gave him a dirty look.

''Just a dress?!'' he said in disbelief. ''This is a creation of Fernando Flores! This designer secretly lives somewhere in San Lorenzo. He shows up at fashion shows once every two years. His work is legendary! How did you get this dress?'' he asked Helga.

Helga didn't know what to answer. What now? If she was rude now, the magical atmosphere she and Arnold had created would disappear.

"This dress was made at my request." Arnold said and everyone gasped. What was this?

"At your request?" asked Mr. Gautier. ''Did you talk to Mr. Spoken to Flores?''

''Yes, he is a good friend of my parents. Mr. Flores asked if he could make something for me and since I knew about this party I had this dress made.'' Arnold explained.

"Is this your girlfriend?" asked Mr. Gautier.

Arnold now had to be very careful what he said. He felt Helga's hand that she was a bit tense and Arnold saw Gerald and Phoebe holding their breath.

''Helga is a very good friend of mine. She and Gerald, the young man standing behind you, both saved me when I was in danger on a school trip. I have already thanked Gerald from the bottom of my heart, but I could never thank Helga. This is my gift to her as a thank you for being there for me.'' Arnold said sincerely.

Everyone in Arnold's class knew what had happened. So for Arnold to thank Helga in that way was normal in their eyes. When Arnold did something, it was always from the bottom of his heart.

Rhonda found it hard to accept, Helga standing there in a more beautiful dress than her and all because Arnold wanted to thank her.

That strange feeling came up again. What is Arnold doing with Helga? Both did not show that they had feelings for each other.

Class 1-C didn't quite understand what was happening, but everyone knew that the blonde girl was in a beautiful dress.

Hilton stood watching from a distance. He wondered if no one saw it but Hilton had seen it before those 2 came in completely.

Arnold and Helga had looked at each other with affection for a small moment.

Those two had feelings for each other, but they hid it. "Hilton Lewis, where's your date?" a classmate asks with a grin.

''My date is tonight's hostess. The two of us opened the party with a dance," Hilton said.

''Lucky cock. Even though you still watch Blondie."

''She's interesting. Even more so now since she looks like Cinderella. Let's see what happens at midnight.'' Hilton said with a disgusting grin on his face.

Once everyone had arrived, the lights suddenly went out and a spot of light appeared in the center with Rhonda and Hilton standing in it, ready to dance.

''Oh my god, her date is Hilton? What a stupid cunt!'' Helga said to Arnold, Gerald, Stinky, Phoebe and Lila. The six of them stood watching the opening dance.

''I don't understand what she ever sees in Hilton. He's so sneaky.'' Lila said.

"Look at the way he looks at Rhonda, like, let's see what I can do with you," Stinky said.

"As long as he stays away from Helga," Arnold said and Helga got goose bumps. That voice and that look again.
For some reason, when Arnold protected her like that, it gave Helga butterflies in her stomach.

When the dance ended, Hilton lifted Rhonda's hand and placed a kiss on it. Then everyone started dancing.
Quickstep, the cha-cha, waltz, everything went by. At one point Helga and Phoebe took a break and the boys went to get something to drink.

"What a great evening, isn't it Helga?" Phoebe asked and Helga smiled.

'' Really. Did you see Harold come with Patty? What a surprise.'' Helga said and Phoebe nodded.

The evening was pleasant and fun. And the food was exceptionally good.

Until Stinky and Lila were so in their moment that Stinky placed a kiss on Lila's head.
As a result, Stinky and Lila had to admit that they had been in a relationship for several months.
And that was seen by many. But the reaction was positive, they had already seen it coming and it was common knowledge that Stinky had feelings for Lila.

"How nice! We can double date if you want?" Eugene asked Stinky and Lila.

"That sounds like great fun! Don't you think so, Stinky?" Lila asked.

"Oh yeah! Then we can all go to the amusement park." said Stinky.

"Then I make nature-friendly cookies." Sheena said.

Arnold looked at them and saw Gerald and Phoebe joining in the conversation as well.

One day he and Helga could also be so free in their relationship.

Only at this moment it was still difficult. Helga received comments from Rhonda and Nadine. While Arnold had to hear it from Harold, Sid and Lorenzo.
Why Arnold and Helga came to the party together.

That was none of their business! Now Arnold understood why Helga wanted to keep it a secret.

The only question was, would that work after tonight?

Arnold closed his eyes and thought about it. It was going to happen tonight. That he and Helga become one together. They would become even closer than before.

Can the relationship still be kept secret? It was already difficult to keep their hands off each other. Stupid hormones!

"Arnold, what are you doing?" he suddenly hears next to him.

He opens his eyes and saw Gerald standing next to him.

"I was just relaxing..." Arnold said awkwardly.

''Yes yes, relax, huh? Or more tense for tonight?"

"Gerald..."

"Just two more hours and the party is over." Gerald grins as he shows the time to Arnold. Then it would be half past twelve at night.

"By the way, where are Helga and Phoebe?" Arnold asked. He didn't see several girls.

"Rhonda shows the girls the pool, they can go in first when it's ready." Gerald said.

Meanwhile, Rhonda explained what still needed to be done to the pools.

"Filled with water today. Tomorrow the pumps will be turned on and we can add fluids to maintain the pool and the water." said Rhonda.

"Are you going to have summer parties too?" Nadine asked.

"Sure. I didn't ask father for 2 swimming pools for nothing." Rhonda chuckled.

Helga looked at the water surface and then around her and saw the landscaped garden with a statue of Rhonda.

"Do you have an image of yourself standing there?" Helga asked.

"Beautiful, isn't it? A brilliant idea of mine. Everyone should continue to see who I am and how handsome I am!" Rhonda said happily, full of arrogance.

The group did not feel entirely comfortable with that comment. Couldn't Rhonda act normal for once?

"You know, Princess? Still, I think that statue is ten times prettier than you." Helga said and Rhonda looked at Helga strangely.

"What do you mean, Helga?" Rhonda asked.

"At least the statue keeps its mouth shut. You, on the other hand, only come up with nonsensical topics."

Rhonda got angry at that comment. "Who do you think you are?" Rhonda snapped.

Helga, who was not impressed, looked at her.

"You're just bragging. You used to do that, but the older you get, the worse it gets." Phoebe noted.

"It's sweet that you invite us to do things together, but you always have to make everything better." Sheena said.

Rhonda, getting even angrier, walked away, leaving the girl group behind.

"Did you ever think Rhonda could react like that?" Lila asked.

"No, but it is nice and quiet." said Helga.

The girls slowly went inside except Helga who continued to look at the garden.

"Are you coming too, Helga?" Phoebe asked.

"I'll stay outside for a while." said Helga.

Helga now stood outside alone, enjoying the balmy summer breeze.

Although not for long.

"Hey Helga."

"What do you want? Go away!" Helga said angrily and turned around, there stood Hilton.

"You know, I never thought that... hey! Stay here!" Hilton shouted, grabbing Helga by the arm.

"Let go of me, you bastard!" Helga shouted.

'' Just calm down. What does that blonde guy have that I don't?'' Hilton asked and Helga froze for a moment before glaring at him.

''That's none of your business. Now let me go!'' Helga shouted again.

''You're so quick-tempered! I like that.'' Hilton grins.

At that moment, Helga kicks Hilton's shins and Hilton lets go of Helga's arm.

As a result, Helga lost her balance and fell into the pool.

''Bitch! Cool off your temper! See you later!'' Hilton said as he walks away.

Helga surfaced. She could swim, but it was quite difficult with the dress she was wearing.

Hilton walked in with a satisfied grin, that will teach that bitch to turn him down.

Arnold didn't trust it until he realized Helga was still outside.

Unseen and quickly, he slipped out and saw Helga holding on to the edge of the pool.

Arnold quickly ran to her and pulled her up without damaging the dress.

"It was Hilton, wasn't it?" Arnold asked with a dark undertone in his voice.

'' Yes. He tried to hit on me again."

Arnold sighed. That guy, he's going to suffer forever. But not now.

Helga shivered a little. Arnold took off his vest, not that it would help much but at least it was something.

Arnold escorted Helga to the old Packard and put her in the car and went back inside to get Helga's purse and to tell Gerald and Phoebe they were leaving.

The return journey was silent. Helga had the feeling that Arnold was still angry.

When they arrived and entered the boarding house, everyone had already gone to bed. Arnold had deliberately not texted his mother.

It was dark and Helga couldn't see much, but Arnold knew exactly how to walk to his room.

Once in his room, Arnold guided Helga to the bathroom and took care of it.

Helga saw her backpack. She looked around and also saw her shampoo conditioner and the soap she was using.

''Arnold?''

"Take a hot shower, that will make you feel better." Arnold said and then he placed his lips on hers for a moment.

Once he had left her lips, he said with passion:

"A heart to love, and in that heart, courage, to make love known. Let me take your breath away tonight."
