"Last time on Total Drama Island we merged our final eleven campers much to their excitement! Our first immunity challenge allowed for two players to win immunity in Harold and Alexis! After the challenge it became clear two sides had formed in the premerge, one contained Bridgette, Drew, Eva, Laine, and Todd. While the other had Alejandro, Alexis, Cody, Harold and Roman. This left Geoff in the middle. Geoff managed to push the vote from his two friends Alejandro and Laine to Eva and Roman. Geoff ultimately decided to vote for Eva out of fear of her. After some fireworks at the Elimination Ceremony the game is completely up in the air right now, find out what happens this time on the most dramatic episode yet on TOTAL DRAMA PAHKITEW ISLAND!"
Theme Song
"Geoff seriously, I don't want to talk to you right now, you burned us, you gotta deal with the consequences," Drew exclaimed. Geoff was left with a depressed expression, while to his left Bridgette stood emotionless, looking down at her shoes.
"I-I'm sorry, I went with my gut, I didn't mean to hurt you guys," Geoff stammered.
"Whether you meant to or not, it's what happened. With Eva gone we're down in numbers, and lost a good friend OVER ROMAN of all people!" Drew said, her voice getting louder with each word.
"Drew, it's fine," Bridgette said, placing a hand on Drew's shoulder. "Let's just go before the others decide to start snooping."
Drew began to walk away, shooting a stink eye at Geoff. Geoff and Bridgette stared at each other for a while before Bridgette turned away, her eyes staring holes into her shoes as she sped up to catch Drew. Geoff began to sob quietly, his hands coming up to his eyes to wipe away the tears.
Confessional, Drew
Geoff needs to get a grip. He screwed us over and that's that.
Confessional, Bridgette
I'm so conflicted. On one hand I still like him, but on the other I'm so incredibly hurt by him.
The camera panned to Laine who was walking through a set of massive bushes, as he saw Geoff crying Laine made his way over to the party boy, and gave him a pat on the back, "I heard what they said, I get why they're mad, but I'm not mad at you," Laine said.
"You're not?" Geoff asked, pulling his hands away from his face.
"No I'm not. I get why you did what you did, and I am appreciative you protected me. At the very least I can see you are trying to both do what's best for you and protect your people."
"I guess. This game is just so hard on the mind dude," Geoff replied, wiping some remaining tears from his puffy eyes.
"It is, but at the end of the day we're all here for the money. I have your back no matter what, you're my homie no matter what."
"Really?"
"Yeah dude seriously, take some time and relax before this challenge and get yourself ready to go!"
Confessional, Laine
I never am one to hold a grudge against someone for trying to improve their position. I'm not happy with Geoff's move, but he got me off the chopping block in the first place, so at the very least I know he still has my back
Confessional, Geoff
I needed that, Laine is a true homie. I know I'm not the brightest bulb in the shed. I just gotta stay positive and it'll all work out
The camera followed a shirtless Roman as he was going on his morning jog in the morning. Sweat gleaming on his muscles, dripping down to the ground. A small smile crossed his face as his eyes beamed with confidence. As he jogged he came across Alexis and Cody who were walking silently towards the cave with a basket full of berries and nuts between them.
"What up alliance mates!" Roman exclaimed, jogging over to the pair, giving Cody a slap on the back causing him to drop his basket.
"Hey dude, chill!" Alexis exclaimed, reaching down to pick up the basket.
"I'm being chill, not my fault Codemeister here can't handle a little back pat!" Roman said, his smile growing wider.
"Yeah yeah, I'm small, I've heard it all before Roman, finish your run before you burn yourself out for the challenge. We need our work horse," Cody mused.
"You know it!"
Confessional, Roman
She is so in to me (He kisses his biceps)
"UGH! He is so annoying," Alexis complained, her face riddled with disgust.
"Yeah. Hopefully we don't have to put up with him for much longer. He's an easy beat, but he is too much of a chaotic nuisance for us to deal with," Cody mused.
"Not only that he is such a piece of work. He leaves his sweaty towels everywhere, like how many did he bring!?"
"Yeah haha. But eventually he'll work himself out of here…." Cody paused for a moment, looking towards Alexis for a moment. "I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable at all."
"No don't worry, if anything I respect you for trying, most guys at my school are really intimidated by me because of what my principal did."
"What did they do?"
"I got blamed for trying to blackmail the school, even though I found his money laundering scheme completely by accident, which kinda caused me to pick up a reputation I guess."
"I'm so sorry," Cody stammered. He seemed to be mentally kicking himself but that expression quickly went away.
"Don't be," Alexis smiled. "If anything this experience has been quite liberating."
"Because a game of backstabbing and lying is surely that." The pair chuckled briefly before they continued their way back to the cave.
Confessional, Cody
Well… that was nice? I'm sure this will still be awkward… at least one on one, but hey it's a start.
Confessional, Alexis
I'm glad Cody and I are still seemingly friends, I was so worried he'd be too intimidated or scared to talk to me again. If anything he'd make a better boyfriend than Roman… that's probably not a high praising compliment is it? But I do feel like Cody and I still are a bit distant. Like we're just decent acquaintances.
The camera cut to Alejandro and Todd who were making their way to the river with a couple makeshift fishing rods along with a handful of worms that the group had been collecting for bait.
"I never knew you were much of a fisherman Todd," Alejandro said, trying to make some small talk between the pair.
"Well I mean as a mapmaker you kinda pick up some other outdoor hobbies, just from running around," Todd chuckled.
"I can share that sentiment, at least in regards to my home life. My father is a diplomat so I naturally gravitated towards the debate team," Alejandro explained.
"I have to imagine that's a tough life to have, your dad must be gone a lot," Todd mused.
"Yeah, but we live pretty comfortably, which I can't say for a lot of other people."
"What would you do with the money then?"
"Pay off some family debt, and pay my way through college, maybe invest it. I can't say I would buy many lavish things
"I feel the same, I'd probably have a nice dinner for my friends, and get something nice for my girlfriend, but I don't think I will end up being a big spender either."
"Would you invest it into your passion for maps?"
The conversation came to an abrupt pause as the loudspeakers suddenly blared to life. "DAKOTA WILL BE THERE TO PICK YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE SITE IN TEN MINUTES! GET READY FOR A WET WORLD OF PAIN!"
"Maybe something to possibly help me get a job regarding that, but I don't think I would invest even half of it towards that. I always think it's better to save," Todd mused. "Come on, let's get going.
"I agree with you there mi amigo."
Confessional, Alejandro
I may not trust Todd, but like a diplomat, sometimes it is worth talking to less than desirable people if it means benefitting your country.
Confessional, Todd
Alejandro is cool, and in any other world I bet we could be friends, he is the type of smart guy I like. But that also just reinforces that he is a PROBLEM!
"Alright looks like we have a… tremendous ten this time around!" Chris proclaimed with his hands behind his back.
"Did you really have a thesaurus for that adjective?" Harold suddenly noticed that Chris was holding the heavy book.
"So what if I did?" Chris spit back. "Today Dakota is modeling her Milton Collection for the spring, with design decisions made by a certain winner as a prototype for the future."
Roman, Todd, and Drew winced as Dakota walked out in striped neon bottoms with a shapely but modest top. The cause of the wincing was Dakota's hair, which was angled high in a blond and neon green pompadour. Dakota suddenly tripped into Chris, hitting him with her hair. "Owww… why's it so hard?"
"It's supposed to be spiky, to compliment the style," Dakota mentioned. "Or at least that's what they told me."
"Swimsuits?" Drew asked. "Does that mean this is a water comp?"
"Yes, yes it does," Chef walked up, clad in an ill fitting bikini. Drew's eyes went wide as Alejandro, Alexis, and Bridgette held back snickers with varying amounts of success. "Today's challenge will be a five set piece obstacle course. All ten of you will start high up holding onto a spinning mechanism. Hold onto it as long as you can because that's a long swim to the platform."
The camera showed a giant, jellyfish-like mechanism, hanging from a zipline. The zipline ended at a floating platform. "From that finish platform you need to swim to a slippery platform where we have some featured extras shooting you. Make it all the way across without getting launched back and that's two fifths of the challenge done." Chris' voice was heard as the camera panned over a football field sized platform made of slick plexiglass.
"After that the next obstacle is a skeleton lottery. From there you're going to take a step onto a path and take that path, taking every turn you come across. Be careful though, some of those turns will take you across flamethrowers, so if it's any consolation, you can immediately douse yourself." Todd's eyes went wide again as Dakota explained the next obstacle.
"Obstacle four is a trio of nets, vertical, horizontal, diagonal, and partially submerged, that you have to successfully navigate.," Chris said as the camera glossed over some nets.
"Finally, balance on that two meters squared platform. Or twenty-one and some change square foot platform for one minute," Chef said with a dismissive and sarcastic tone at the mention of the imperial system.
"Some change is actually .52783-"
"Shush!" Chris held a finger to Harold's lips. "Today is another opportunity for multiple people to win immunity. If we can get multiple people balancing for a minute at the same time, they will win immunity. Your hands can't touch the platform though."
"That platform could easily fit all of us," Todd observed.
"Yeah but the challenge isn't fitting, the challenge is balancing, with buoyancy. And some of us are wearing heavier stuff than others," Roman flipped Todd's hoodie teasingly.
Todd briefly lost his balance before suddenly righting himself. "Oh it's like that movie!" Drew clapped her hands together. "That's why you don't want us to lie down, because if both of us try getting on there then we'll lose the heart of the ocean!"
"Are you talking about titanic? Because that actually happened in-" Geoff started.
"The challenge starts in fifteen minutes. Get in your swimsuits."
Confessional, Cody
Swimsuits? With those Greek gods? In front of Alexis? And the girls? Oh boy this is… some kind of fun…
Confessional, Geoff
Maybe if Jack was a surfer he'd like, survive that sinking. Some kind of skill issue I guess.
Confessional, Laine
The water? Makea!
A camera wipe showed the campers clad in their swimsuits, as they waited atop the platform for the challenge. Alejandro snapped his red speedo into place as he and Laine shared a nod of mutual respect. While Alejandro was in a red speedo, Laine was in a similar red speedo. "I do wonder if we are doing a little too much for the editors today," Alejandro stretched.
"If they can stream high school teams with us in our uniforms then we can most likely stay here," Laine said. "I see you keep very fit."
"My body is a temple and I keep it in good condition, I'm glad to see we are of similar minds," Alejandro gave a smile.
Cody awkwardly picked at his shorts as he and Harold stood off to the sides. Harold windmilled his hands back and forth while looking out over the platform. "It's probably a ten meter drop from here."
"Have you ever fallen from this high?" Cody asked.
"I try not to, sometimes the change in altitude doesn't let me adjust properly," Harold explained. "I wish I had my sunblock. I feel like I'm going to be burning."
"Hah, I can relate to that, but I definitely need to get tanned. The guys who get all the ladies while showing off their bodies have their tan and I'm gonna need that if. I'm going to find someone."
"Like Alexis?"
"No!" Cody suddenly shouted. "I mean… if she asked, I'm totally gonna say yes, but it's… well, it's the more gentlemanly thing to let her come to her decision."
Bridgette stood at the edge of the platform, almost resisting the urge to jump in. She gulped for a moment as her black wetsuit seemed to catch on the wood that made the platform. "Do you need any help dudette?" Geoff stood over Bridgette, holding out a hand.
The surfer seemed to huff as she got up onto her feet by herself. "I got it," she stiffly mentioned as she noticeably ignored Geoff's bare torso. She put her hair in a tight ponytail as her gaze slowly settled on Todd.
Geoff opened his mouth to speak before Bridgette suddenly turned her attention to Todd, who was fidgeting with his rash guard. "Hi Bridgette, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who covers up when swimming. That's a bit of a darker shade than I'd go for."
"You seem to go for a dark palette, huh?" Bridgette smiled.
"Yeah, I don't like drawing attention, as you know," Todd explained. "Not like Roman, Alejandro, or Laine over there."
Bridgette turned around to see that Roman was currently adjusting his stance, flexing his respectable build. "I mean, confidence comes naturally to some people, a bit too naturally."
While Bridgette seemed to glance more and more at Roman and Laine, Todd's eyes narrowed in Alejandro's direction. "Definitely."
"I just have to say it, you're really rocking that bikini," Drew stared at Alexis, mouth almost agape.
"Oh, umm, thanks," Alexis stammered. "I didn't necessarily want to bring this because I was worried it'd bring too much attention."
"You've got my attention at least," Drew mentioned. "But I have to wonder, is it really protecting you?" Almost subconsciously Drew adjusted her blue striped wetsuit to emphasize her chest a little more.
"It'll help me move in the water, that's my main goal," Alexis mentioned. "And maybe if the boys over there get distracted with me I can win immunity again, though I don't necessarily want it."
"That's funny," Drew said., her eyes once again looking Alexis up and down. The two girls parted ways as Drew not so discreetly started to check out Laine, Alejandro, and Roman.
Confessional, Drew
Was I staring? Yes! OBVIOUSLY! Alejandro, Laine, Roman, Bridgette, Alexis, Geoff I thought my nose was going to bleed! I don't think I'm going to win this immunity challenge with how sculpted these people are! Like, I get reality tv wants to cast the beautiful people, but that makes it a challenge for artists to catch the beauty of the others. How else can you capture the chiseled marbled physiques of the guys or the warm and loving curves of the girls when you're distracted by big jiggly puffy bongly bangaroo dingle dongle honkers as an artist if you're staring at clothes that don't even do a thing to cover up the majestic easel sculpted by the gods and handled with care to salute on a morning day or the welcoming curves each girl has?!
The campers each grabbed onto one of the ten ropes remaining. Most seemed to go for a lower grip. Harold grabbed high, as did Alexis and Cody since they were able to maneuver their way in front. Once all were locked in place, the platform they were standing on started to fall back. "THE CHALLENGE IS ON!" Chris shouted.
With something of a white, the mechanism the campers on started its way down one of the downward sloped ropes. All tried to keep their grip as steady as they could even as they began to spin outward. Alexis climbed slightly higher and that was when she began to scream.
Confessional, Alexis
You want to get high for these things, but… I think I put my hand a little too high…
"MI MANO!" Alexis started to scream. Shocked by Alexis' sudden scream, Drew and Todd suddenly let go of the rope. The two spiraled away from the fall path of the weird mechanism. Suddenly alert, Alejandro adjusted his grip just as he felt someone grab onto his shoulder. "MI MANO!"
The camera panned downard to show Todd and drew bobbing up and down before both started to swim. Drew winced as another splash landed starkly next to her. "GOSH! It could have thrown me further, instead of back," Harold complained. The two looked up to see Alexis still screaming as Roman suddenly lost his grip.
"Cody, I implore you to please let go," Alejandro placidly asked. He was suddenly met with Cody gripping tighter as Alejandro again tried to fix his grip. Alexis screeched and Alejandro let go, taking Cody with him.
Elsewhere on the machine, Bridgette and Geoff finally let go, Bridgette adjusting to the fall much quicker than Geoff. The two blonds bobbed in the water as the machine continued sending Alexis and Laine down the path further and further. "Gnarly fall, huh?" Geoff turned round, only to see Bridgette almost gliding through the water.
Laine couldn't hold on and fell some forty feet from the goal as Alexis screeched her way down the platform. As Alexis touched down, she put her hand in the water to cool down the semblance of the blur. "Mis dedos…"
Her eyes suddenly shot open as Laine passed by her, lumbering onto the platform as Bridgette was quick to follow. Alexis held her hand over the water for a moment before she plunged it back in, splashing an oncoming Geoff. "Gnarly hand brah."
"Ay, no me digas," Alexis said as Geoff dove past her.
The camera transitioned to an overhead shot to show that while Alexis remained on the platform, Alejandro was quickly coming up. Graphics showed Roman, Drew, Todd, Cody, and Harold pulling up the rear. Further ahead were Laine and Bridgette followed by Geoff.
Confessional, Harold
Gosh… the impact of gravity is hard enough, but the dizziness causes you to lose some of that control, I could barely like, hold my breath man.
Confessional, Alejandro
Considering my older clown of a brother used to push me off of something high… Jose not Carlos to specify… I've fallen through worse.
Laine started to climb up onto the second platform. Three wooly beavers, Fang, and Scuba Bear primed their t-shirt cannons at him. "Odottaa…"
Bridgette floundered as she tried to climb higher onto the platform before she splashed in again. Taking a moment to distract himself from the cannons he held a hand out to Bridgette. "Thank you Laine, so nice to see you're still helping us out."
"I wanna keep us tight, ya," Laine smiled. "More than one of us can win. And I think since we're the fastest we should try for it together if we make it to the end."
"Sure," Bridgette smiled, glancing around to see Geoff, Alejandro, Roman, and now Alexis in the water at the second obstacle. "Well, see ya!"
Bridgette started to run across the platform only to fall flat on her face. "I'm okay."
Confessional, Bridgette
I wasn't okay.
Bridgette scrambled to her feet as Laine started sliding by her. As they made it about a quarter of the way the firing squad aimed their cannons and took aim. One hit Bridgette in the shoulder and the surfer went down. Laine slid forward ever so slightly but was knocked off kilter when a t-shirt hit him square in the face. Both attempted to recover but a slight shift on the platform alerted the two of them to Roman, Alejandro, Geoff, and Harold now coming up.
Roman quickly pushed aside Harold into the path of a firing T-shirt. "Dude!" Harold shouted.
"HERE I GO!" Roman shouted, sliding down the water covered platform much like one would on a slide. As he zoomed past a struggling Bridgette and Laine, he seemed to laugh an open mouth laugh, open to choke on a t-shirted Fang fired at him. With the added velocity, the jerk was suddenly sent to the side, coughing. He stumbled in the water and bobbed for a moment before the t-shirt suddenly expanded in his mouth.
Confessional, Roman
(His voice is muffled as he starts complaining) STupid! Stupid! That gangly geek sent me in the path of that stupid cannon.
"Alexis, you're kind of falling behind," Cody mentioned as he and Alexis slowly trailed far behind Todd. The mapmaker was slowly climbing onto the platform for the second obstacle
"Go ahead Cody, I can care for myself," Alexis said as she started to swim faster.
"I didn't mean the contrary," Cody stammered before swimming off, splashing Alexis in the face as he did so.
Alejandro held something of a steady pace as he made calculated staggered steps through the battlefield. He took great care not to be close to the side where he could easily be knocked off as Roman, Bridgette, and Geoff did largely the same.
Todd fixed his shirt as he started to break into a sprint. He slid on the ground uncontrolled, knocking into Geoff, and sending the two of them tumbling. Bridgette recovered her balance and caught up to Todd, extending a hand as Geoff slowly built up his balance.
Harold stood with his legs spread as he tried to make a large step. With the slippery platform and the cannons, he wound up sliding, standing up, a prime target for one of the cannons. A loud shout caused all the campers to wince as Harold fell down, clutching his rather sensitive area, holding the T-shirt to cover him as a makeshift shield.
Seizing the opportunity, Alejandro and Roman dove across the other side, the first to beat the obstacle. "Looks like you recovered from that t-shirt," Alejandro politely smiled.
"Hah, it'll take more than that to take down me. I get hit harder on the football field almost daily. Have to be pretty tough to give and take," Roman swam alongside Alejandro for a moment.
"Must be," Alejandro smiled.
"You've gotta do football right Al? Or at least some kind of weight training? You, me, Laine, and Geoff definitely have got to be the jocks here. Look at us, we're specimens."
"Easily agreeable," Alejandro twitched.
Confessional, Alejandro
American football attracts a certain group of people, no me sorpresa que Roman is one of them.
Back at the second obstacle, Todd followed at a respectable but close distance behind Geoff as they awkwardly tried to keep their balance. Geoff doubled over when a t-shirt suddenly hit him in the stomach and Todd stood behind the tall and gangly Harold. Bridgette ducked under a t-shirt projectile before scrambling to the end, falling unceremoniously into the drink.
Fang turned up a setting on his gun, signaling for Scuba bear to do the same, and the two fired their t-shirt cannons high into the air. Amidst the hail of fabric Todd scampered through the mess and jumped into the other side. Drew stopped for a moment to catch her breath but was suddenly covered in layers of t-shirts. Alexis and Cody, both nearby, started to dig Drew out before Cody was suddenly sent flying back.
Roman and Alejandro looked ahead at the maze of criss-crossing walkways over the surprisingly calm waters of Pahkitew Island. Roman stood on one of ten starting points as he started to dash across. Growing impatient he took a jump across one of the gaps, only to fall into the water when the walkway suddenly tilted, throwing him into the drink. "Ah…" Alejandro mused.
Bridgette stood next to Alejandro as the two of them started to map out a route. The two noticed that it was a surprisingly long distance. Todd walked next to the two of them as his gaze fixated on the flamethrowers. "I'm not doing this," Todd said as he started to gear up for a run.
"Ah, Todd, I don't recommend-" Alejandro spoke up just as Todd failed to even make it over one of the first gaps.
"What's up with the walkways?" Laine stood next to Bridgette and Alejandro as Geoff and Roman started to lumber onto the platform.
"Yo veo que the walkways turn round if you try to skip them," Alejandro pointed out. Roman stood next to the growing crowd as Bridgette suddenly slipped into the water. "Well Bridgette is unfortunately more skilled on water than on land."
"I feel that," Laine sympathized.
Alejandro and Laine took their positions on adjacent starting points as they started to navigate the maze. Geoff, Bridgette, Todd, and Roman looked at Alejandro dove into the water to avoid a particularly large plume of fire just above his head. Laine's path similarly took him to a smaller, almost blade like flame, that just missed his arm.
Confessional, Geoff
I've fallen into like, three fire pits. I know how gnarly those things can be. Oh but they do make some good memories.
Drew jumped in the water once she was clear of the cannon wielding animals. Behind her, Cody slid into the water in a bit of a clumsy move. Harold jumped in shortly after followed by Alexis, still clutching her hand. The straggling four made it to the platform in time to see the others more or less congregating on the starting platform to the next obstacle.
"Those three are bad, and that one is too. It looks like there are two safe endings but we have four paths to test," Todd started out loud. He made a move to one he considered safe before he suddenly retreated.
"Are you going Todd?" Bridgette asked.
"N-N-No, go ahead," Todd shook his head. "I need to trace the paths a little more."
"Good luck then." Bridgette sped off. Todd stood at the start of the balance beams while Bridgette sped off.
Todd steeled himself as he took a step back. He made sure not to get too close to the flamethrowers at the start before Geoff's sudden scream in front of him immediately caused the mapmaker to recompose himself. Geoff jumped in the water to avoid the flame thrower. Todd's already big eyes grew even wider as he hugged his swim shirt tightly. "I can… I can… I can do this."
Confessional, Todd
I don't think I can do this.
Bridgette was the first to make it across the skeleton maze as she sprinted across the platform that signified the end. She took a fleeting moment to catch her breath while gazing at the inclined net that started the next obstacle. "Not that high," she said to reassure herself.
She dove into the water in a fluid motion, followed shortly by Laine and Roman as they started swimming after her. Alejandro came across to the next platform just as Geoff almost lost his balance. "Gotcha amigo," Alejandro quickly extended one of his hands.
Back on the skeleton maze itself Todd was finally inching his way along the paths. Cody and Harold had drawn the misfortune of standing behind a crawling Todd. "If it makes you feel better the contract specifically states we get medical care for any burns," Harold mentioned.
Cody flashed Harold an annoyed stare as Todd's crawl slowed to an even worse pace. "Just get on with Todd, some of us want to win immunity."
"Right…" Todd started scrambling to his feet. A fire plume fired high above his head and he suddenly hugged the beam. "Wrong."
Far ahead, Alexis and Drew dove into the water with two identical splashes. Drew floundered for a moment before she started to swim towards the first of several partially submerged nets. Alexis was the first of the two to reach the first inclined net. She looked to see that Bridgette and Laine were climbing rather high while Roman was somewhere halfway up.
Geoff and Alejandro on the other hand, started to aimlessly crawl up the incline. Alexis started her own ascent just as Drew made it to the nets. Further back, Todd caught his breath as Cody and Harold jumped in the water in front of him, splashing the mapmaker. Todd looked behind him at the flamethrowers as they all suddenly ramped up to the maximum level. Panic flooded his eyes as he dropped into the water.
Alexis strained to catch her breath as she neared the top of the first net. After that net there was a long horizontal net that was barely half a foot under the water that the campers had to walk across. It looked as though Laine was the first one over but he was struggling to maintain his balance. "You ok Alexis?" Drew called up.
"Catching… my breath," Alexis groaned.
Further down Drew was taking her sweet time as she passed not so subtle looks at Roman, Alejandro, and Geoff's well muscled backs. Next to her, Cody extended a hand to Drew. "Need help?"
"Nah," Drew replied. "I have this."
"Suit yourself," Cody said as his legs suddenly gave out, causing him to fall almost through the holes in the netting. "HELP!"
Alexis looked down as she prepared to take a fall but slipped into Alejandro, who was able to maintain balance. "Lo siento Alejandro," Alexis apologized.
"No problema," Alejandro mentioned as he slowly skirted around Alexis.
Geoff, Bridgette, and Roman took their jumps to the next net. Roman hesitated by grabbing onto the net from the underside, his fingers wrapped around the fibers. as Geoff and Bridgette splashed into the water and quickly grabbed onto the next net. Roman dangled for a moment but let go once Cody accidentally stepped on his hand.
Confessional, Roman
THIS IS A MONEYMAKER HERE CODY! HAVE SOME DECENCY! (he flashes the middle finger)
Bridgette started to run next to Laine. Bridgette looked behind her to see the others making their way up the first net. Ahead of them was one more net that they had to swim under. "Whatever happens happens, right?"
"Oui." The two began to run across the net, splashing water and kicking up fiber as they continued to run.
At the first net Alexis and Alejandro both took the plunge. Alejandro behind to see that Todd was barely starting his way up while Drew was currently psyching herself up for the jump. Roman, Alejandro, and Alexis climbed onto the horizontal net and started to run. Alexis seemed to slip into some of the bigger gaps. "I'm okay, keep going!" she shouted to Alejandro. She struggled as Alejandro nodded, continuing with a more graceful pace than Roman ahead of him.
At the next net, Laine took a deep breath and started to wim underneath. She used her hands to propel herself under. Copying her strategy, Laine slid next to Bridgette as they tried to find footing underneath the two of them. Laine managed to look closer to the start of the net to see that Roman was quickly gaining on them.
The camera switched to an overhead shot, revealing Laine and Bridgette in the lead, followed by Roman, followed by Alejandro and Alexis, followed by Geoff, followed by Harold, Cody, Drew, and Todd in the rear.
Bridgette and Laine cut through the water as they encroached on the final obstacle. Both got their hands onto the platform as they tried to climb it. Their approach on the same side caused the platform to suddenly tip and send both sliding down. "So hard to get a grip!" Laine shouted. "Did the water just get colder?"
"I think it just did," Bridgette said. "Here, I'll go to the other side. We have to climb on it together!"
Bridgette quickly dove under the water and made it to the other side of the platform.. The two stared at each other as they stabilized the platform. "Un… deux… trois!" Laine counted as both managed to push themselves onto the platform.
Bridgette seemed rather wobbly as Laine stood tall. Both kept their hands off of the platform and stared at each other as they tried leaning back and forth. A giant screen with a big clock face emerged from the water that counted down both of their attempts on the floating platform.
"Don't let go Laine!" Bridgette said as she tried to keep her center of gravity low.
"Not at all!" Laine said as he stood up, trying to recover the sense of balance. "Say, doesn't this seem a little titanic to you? I always did wonder if they could both fit. I meant it seemed like they-"
Laine didn't finish his soliloquy. He was interrupted by the sudden emergence of a digital clock that started a countdown. It read forty five seconds as the two on the platform struggled to remain balanced.
The clock hit thirty seconds as Laine suddenly felt someone touch his calf. He let out a scream as Roman unceremoniously pulled him into the water. Bridgette took another five seconds to regain balance as Roman tried to climb up onto the platform before another hand, Alejandro's, suddenly came between Roman and Laine and the platform.
The three boys started splashing, getting Bridgette hit with more water as her hands airplaned out. They stared at the clock as it ticked from Five.
Four.
Three.
Two…
One…
"BRIDGETTE IS THE SOLE IMMUNITY WINNER!" Chris announced at the same time the clock started beeping. Roman splashed in the water, frustrated as Laine and Alejandro swam off. "SHE IS ALSO THE SOLE RECIPIENT OF THE FISH COURSE TODAY! THIS VEGETARIAN SUBSTITUTE WILL HAVE ALL THE FIXINGS OF A NEWFIE TROUT AND NEWFIE LOBSTER ROLL WITH SHRIMP ROLLS!"
After Challenge
The campers started to head towards their smaller groups. Drew, Todd, and Bridgette waited in the general area for the confessional. "So what are you waiting for?" Bridgette asked as Drew wrung her hair dry.
"I'm just waiting to see if Cody's done in the confessional," Drew mentioned.
"Me too," Todd chimed in.
"Hey, why are we standing outside the confessional?" Laine walked over. "I saw Cody and Harold walking off and I need to talk about a little something you know?"
"Cody's not here?" Bridgette asked.
The four campers in the general confessional area started to run towards the door, each clamoring to leave their thoughts.
Confessional, Bridgette
Whew. Hopefully this immunity doesn't paint too big of a target on my back, but it's not like I'm the only immunity winner. It's nice to be safe. I get more time with my friends, hopefully I get to see Geoff finally wisen up at that…
…
…
I'm mad but he's still cute you know.
Confessional, Todd
I really need to figure out what I'm going to do with this pyrophobia…
Confessional, Drew
(In her hands is a very rough outline of Chris) So… today's challenge… a lot of eye candy, and a LOT OF INSPIRATION! I need to find some paper. Or ask Alexis to model in the same bikini. Or ask Alejandro to strip to his speedo. I mean I could also ask Roman, he seems VERY eager.
…
…
I can acknowledge someone is hot and a tool okay?
Confessional, Laine
It's getting harder to… how you say… use… la colle for all of us. Especially with Geoff and Bridgette. But something has to happen, right?
Alejandro, Cody, Harold, and Alexis were all meeting in the back of the group cave, circled up next to each other, and sitting down.
"Alright so what's the plan?" Cody asked the group.
"I think we gotta go Laine," Alexis started. "He is a big physical threat, and if they don't have an idol yet, this may be one of the last times we can get him."
"I don't know, if they do have an idol, he's a prime candidate to get it. Maybe Drew is a safer, less obvious option?" Harold suggested.
"You raise a fair point Harold, but maybe we should go for Todd instead, weaken the power structure with Bridgette. They seem like a strong duo," Alejandro mused.
"Laine would likely do the same. Bridgette is close with him and Geoff, and eliminating Laine breaks that off a bit," Alexis replied.
"Would Geoff even want to do that?" Harold asked.
"We have us four plus Roman. Geoff will either have to go with us or throw his vote, especially since they will never trust him again for voting Eva," Alexis added.
"Alright then, Laine it is," Cody agreed, earning a nod from Alejandro, and a side eye from Harold.
Confessional, Harold
Didn't we have the same conversation last time… and what did it result in? NOT Laine going home that's for sure.
Confessional, Alexis
Laine seems cool, but sooner we can get a numbers advantage so we can dump Roman the better.
Confessional, Cody
The good news is that I'm not a name for a target. The bad news is that there's still a chance for me to go home…
LIKE EVERY OTHER ELIMINATION CEREMONY EXCEPT FOR ONE!
Todd, Laine, Bridgette, and Drew were meeting by the island river, their eyes darting back and forth making sure the others didn't hear them
"Well… here we are," Todd started. "What are we thinking? We need at least one to flip in order to tie."
"I think between that group, Roman is probably our best bet to get someone to flip," Laine said.
"Yeah, I know Alexis and Cody don't like him," Drew said. "I think we could maybe flip one or both of them."
"Would they even flip together?" Todd asked.
"Maybe, I'm not too sure, but I feel like they'd both consider it," Bridgette mused.
"I think Geoff could maybe…" Laine started.
"Pass," Drew said. "Dude snaked us once already, good intentions or not, he isn't trustworthy." Bridgette and Todd nodded silently in agreement.
"Sure… then who should talk to who?" Laine asked.
"Drew and I can talk to Alexis," Bridgette proposed.
"I can talk to Cody, maybe as a nerd to a nerd," Todd suggested.
"Alright, guys let's get this show on the road," Laine exclaimed.
Confessional, Laine
Alexis has made it really clear the last few days how much she despises Roman, so she's probably our only bet to pull a flip off. Cody.. I'm not too sure on.
Confessional, Drew
I used to think that voting people out would be hard, but I don't think I will ever get tired of writing down Roman's name to go home.
"Yeah I'm good with voting Laine. Are you sure Geoff is on board with that? Those two are almost too close," Roman explained to Alejandro as the pair wandered aimlessly through the woods.
"That's the thing, we want to break that up. And in the case that it does end up in a tie, do you think you'd be ready for a tier breaker?" Alejandro said, his voice calm.
"Of course I'm ready! I'll happily take that pretty boy out myself! The better question is are you guys ready in case you all go in!?"
"Even still, it'll most likely be you they vote for. They need a flip, they likely feel you've…"
"I've what?"
"Rubbed some people the wrong way, and they may be able to use that to their benefit."
"Whatever they want to use, it won't matter, I'll still be here tomorrow!"
Confessional, Roman
I feel like I keep saying this, but I just expect way more from Alejandro, like of course I'm down to take out Laine myself, I'd be disappointed if the vote did go according to plan.
Confessional, Alejandro
I'd like to say he is just confident… but honestly he is likely just cocky, who just so happens to do well in comps.
"Listen Alexis, if you vote out Roman with us, us girls can run this game, we each have a boy that we have as our number one, and we can just create an alliance around that and run this all the way to the final three!" Drew exclaimed, she had a big smile on her face, eyes eager for Alexis to accept.
Bridgette nodded in agreement, "Look, after Eva left there's only three of us left. If we want to keep the streak of girl winners alive, we gotta stop eating our own. I know Sugar and Amy sucked, but that's three girls in a row now."
Alexis thought for a moment, her eyes looking up towards the sky in thought. "I'll think about it at least. Even if I decide to not vote with you guys, I do think it is worth keeping this option open for later."
"Of course, but if we cut Roman now, it leaves the other guys pretty vulnerable, since they no longer have him as a meat shield," Drew explained.
"I definitely want him gone, either now or next, because I do agree. Alejandro, Geoff, and even Harold are all sitting behind him, while he takes the bullets," Alexis mused, brushing a part of her hair to the side.
"Then let's dump Roman now, and then we can figure out our next move after that. This is the only show where girls consistently get far, we gotta keep the trend up," Bridgette said, extending her hand out to Alexis which she took and shook Bridgette's hand.
Confessional, Alexis
Roman? Blindsided? Oh the look on his face would be glorious. I gotta think about this.
Confessional, Drew
Us girls gotta stick together at this point, there's only a few of us left, if we can start by knocking out Roman, that would rule!
"Hey Geoff, just wanted to let you know that the group was thinking of voting Laine tonight," Harold said to the party boy. The two were inside of the treehouse sitting down, talking in hushed voices to make sure no one else heard them.
"Oh uh… yeah I guess that's fine, all five are in on it?" Geoff asked, his eyes darting back and forth.
"Yeah, Roman really wants to do it, and the others seem pretty on board to…" Harold started.
"Yeah I get it, Laine is a big threat, I know you guys know I'm cool with him, it'll suck to put his name down though, but I really just want to stick with one group here."
"I don't blame you, this is a tough game, and aside from Roman I think everyone likes each other that is left. Which compared to the last two seasons is kinda weird."
"Look if we can just lose Roman next I'll be okay, dude is just… a lot and I think for all of us it would just be better if he left."
"I agree with that, and I'm sure the others would agree. I know Cody and Alexis despise him, and I'm sure Drew, Bridgette, and Todd don't either."
"I know, I don't think anyone has had a nice thing to say about him lately."
Confessional, Harold
Honestly, I bet Geoff will just throw his vote, so he's loyal to everyone. Honestly I could see so many people flipping. Like I don't know what Alejandro is thinking going for Laine, he is SCREWED if Roman goes out. I'll have at least Cody to fall back on if he flips, Alexis will have the girls if she does, hell even Geoff could completely flip, OR MULTIPLE OF THEM COULD! Honestly Alejandro is a dokahontas for this one!
Confessional, Geoff
Well uh… this isn't good. I don't know if I can dig my homie out of this. There's gotta be a way
"Look Todd, I appreciate you trying, but I don't think it's right for me to make that flip right now," Cody explained. Todd and Cody were making their way to the voting booth as Todd was attempting to convince Cody to flip his vote.
"I appreciate the honesty, but there seriously isn't anything that would change your mind?" Todd begged.
"Not right now, but after this vote, I'd be down to knock out Roman."
"So does everyone else." Todd eye rolled, earning a laugh from Cody.
"I'd be willing to maybe cut out a certain other built like an ox player later too."
"Alejandro?"
"Yeah, he is becoming far too dangerous. In a few rounds I think Harold and I would be down to make a move against him."
"Noted. I appreciate the honesty, more than I can say for some other people."
Confessional, Todd
Well at least he is honest. But I'm at least glad that he is recognizing that Alejandro is a threat. And if he is seeing it, then I know others are too.
Confessional, Cody
Todd and I have a lot in common, at the end of the day I would like to work with him, even if we are on opposite sides now.
Elimination Ceremony
"Welcome into your second merge tribal council, as you all know Bridgette is immune," Chris said, tossing Bridgette a marshmallow, she caught it and began to nibble on it. "With that out of the way I have your ballots once again right here," Chris continued, holding up the wooden ballot box. "With that all said, if anyone has a hidden immunity idol and would like to play it, now would be the time to do so!" Chris paused, for a moment, the cast shooting glances towards each other trying to see who may have one.

"TENTH VOTE…" Chris paused for a moment looking at the name, intrigue crossing his face. "Roman. Meaning we have a tie, as per the rules, Roman and Laine you will be going into a tie breaker challenge."
The cast looked around at each other in shock. Todd looked towards Cody who shook his head and shrugged.
"Alexis thank y…" Drew was cut off by Alexis who replied.
"I'm sorry Drew, but I voted for Laine, I don't know who voted for Roman."
Geoff sheepishly reached his hand up, "Uh I did."
Drew instantly looked at Laine with mild disgust, who shrugged. "Hey if I hadn't talked to him, I would be flying out of the cannon right now." Drew and Bridgette both relaxed a bit realizing he was right, setting aside their personal feelings towards Geoff.
Flashback
"Look dude it's you," Geoff said to Laine as the pair walked to the voting booth.
"Like all five of them?" Laine asked, shock crossing his face
"Yeah. I don't know how to save you though, unless you have one of those idols."
"I don't, but if you vote Roman with me, we could at least force a tie."
"But the others will be pissed with me dude, and Bridgette and Drew were pissed with me this morning, I don't want to make more enemies."
"I can smooth things over with them, and your 'side' will at least respect you for taking a shot at Roman instead of them."
"They will?"
"Yeah, think about it, no one likes Roman, if you vote Roman, then they can at least understand that you voted to eliminate someone who is a general nuisance than anything."
"Alright, I'm in!"
Flashback End
Alejandro looked towards Geoff and gave him a nod of understanding, to which Geoff returned. A small smile appeared on Geoff's face now realizing that his worst fears were not being realized.
"For this tie breaker challenge, you two will be given a set of five rubber balls to knock over as many former contestant wooden pins as you can. The player with the most pins knocked over wins. If there happens to be a tie, then we will have one sudden death round. Do you two understand?" Chris explained, as Dakota and Chef had been setting up the two large tables each completed with fifty-six wooden pins with the head of the season one and two campers, as well as the season three eliminated campers.
"Are you ready to lose, pretty boy?" Roman taunted tossing one of his balls up in the air, his cockiness apparent.
"Okay popcorn muscles," Laine said with an eye roll, Roman's eyebrow seemed to twitch at the mention of popcorn muscles.
"When you two are ready, you may throw your first ball!" Chris exclaimed. In response Laine fired his first strike, knocking off ten pins on the far left. Roman scoffed at the attempt and launched his ball right down the middle, hitting his Sadie pin square in the face, taking out eighteen pins in the process.
"You're out matched Laine, I'll salivate in your loss," Roman exclaimed.
"You sound like a cartoon villain," Laine replied, earning a few chuckles from the campers.
"You can throw your second ball now," Chris said, after Dakota had cleared the knocked over pins.
Roman fired his ball first this time, clearing out eleven pins on the left, he let out a fistpump and cheer. Laine fired his to the right this time clearing out fifteen pins
"I'm catching up buddy," Laine chuckled, as Roman started to turn into a tomato with steam coming out of his ears.
The boys would fire again, Laine starting to get the hand of throwing knocked over another thirteen pins, but Roman was still going strong with a solid ten pins. "The score is now thirty-nine to thirty-eight, with Roman leading. There are only a handful of pins left now," Chris narrated to the other eight campers.
Laine launches his fourth ball, hitting a pocket of nine pins in the back right corner. However Roman countered by hitting nine pins as well that were bunched up on the left side. "The totals are now forty eight to forty seven. These two are very evenly matched, this is the final throw, Laine has to get two more pins than Roman to win. If it ties we will go to a sudden death sixth round," Chris explained, as the two boys nodded in response.
Roman had two clusters of pins, one set of five that was further away and three that was closer to the front. While Laine had a pocket of seven and a pocket of two on either side of the table.
Roman threw first, he managed to nail his five pins perfectly, the Mike pin shot across the board and almost hit his other pocket of pins, but it barely missed giving Roman all of the pins and giving him a near guaranteed shot to win.
"Laine needs seven pins to win, and six to tie," Chris stated. Laine threw his ball at the pack of seven pins, he managed to knock off five of them clean off, which left the Jo and Marilyn pins wobbling around.

"Well it wouldn't be the first time, those two girl's stubbornness cost someone their game. Laine I am sorry but you have become the eleventh person voted out and the second member of our jury!"
"Well damn, good game Roman," Laine reached out to shake Roman's hand to which he accepted much to Laine's shock.
"You earned my respect after that, I really thought you had me at the end there. I still don't like you though," Roman chuckled, which Laine eye rolled.
Geoff walked over and gave Laine a bro hug, "You have my vote if you make it man," Laine whispered into his ear.
Drew walked over and gave Laine a hug as the rest waved the swimmer goodbye as he hopped into the cannon. Chef launched Laine out of the cannon and gave him a salute as he flew out of the cannon and entered perfect diving form as he entered the water.
"A valiant effort by a well respected camper wasn't enough to keep him in the game. Nine are left, and this is the most competitive final group we've had. Who will go home in our next elimination ceremony? And what will become of these new deals formed? Find out next time on TOTAL DRAMA PAHKITEW ISLAND!"
Final Confessional, Laine
Well damn… I mean I don't mind going out like that, but to Roman? Wow. I have to say I am happy with how I played, I'm sure I could have done some things better, but I did well all things considered. My vote will probably go to whoever plays the best, but of course I favor those in my alliance. Especially Drew and Geoff I would say, we grew really close with our time here. I do hope Roman gets what is coming to him, Karma must be behind on her deliveries with him. But hey I made the jury, not much else I can ask for.

Scenes from the Next Episode
Drew slowed her breathing down as she glanced around a tree. The smell of spaghetti permeated the air while she licked her finger. In order to find out the best way to go, she took a step in a random direction. Hoping against hope, she took a step and fell into a small hole. With a scream she was suddenly nailed in the face with hot spaghetti.
She screamed again and a meatball fell in her mouth. She doubled over, coughing. "So, don't rely on Drew for babysitting?" A nearby Harold commented to Bridgette.
"I mean totally justified with her screaming."
Roman stood on a giant rock with his jacket worn much like a roman toga. He flashed a cocky smirk at the camera only to be knocked off the rock when a nearby Alejandro accidentally sat on a stump. The dead tree managed to sink into the ground, leaving Alejandro stuck in the hole.
A nearby Harold saw that happening to the two of them and let out a maniacal laugh. He suddenly started coughing before getting drenched in water.
Noticing Roman quickly approaching, Cody sliding down the mountain with Harold, and Bridgette still stuck in a particularly rough piece of snow, Todd looked at his baby, looked at the mountain, and looked at Roman. "Come on… I can't believe I'm.."
The camera cut to Roman, Alejandro, Alexis, and GEoff as they heard Todd yodeling at the top of his lungs. "The twink can yodel?" Roman asked.
Scuba bear let out a big roar as Alexis started to scream. Alejandro stripped off his shirt and held it high above his head, making something of a shout to ward off Scuba Bear.
The bear, confused but somewhat intrigued, started to walk up to Alejandro. Alejandro stopped for a moment, picked up his baby, and winked at the bear. Scuba Bear suddenly roared and Alejandro and Alexis started to run away.
"It's the truth I say, I was eating some french fries and then I had a soda," Alexis told Drew excitedly.
"I mean that's a likely story, but I think my story about eating a sandwich and then some tea is better," Drew politely disagreed.
Review Replies
Nobody245: (Trygve) We shall see about Harold and Alexis, but Roman is still lasting around as a fun little antagonist, but with Geoff flipping back it seems like things are not exactly set in stone
(RJ): Naming alliances actually comes with a lot of difficulty, I wouldn't say it's an easy thing to do but we do need names. Harold x Alexis huh? We shall see.
SuperSonicHeroes: (Trygve) Roman sticks around, I'm kinda glad you hate him cause that's his draw to me as a character to write, like an even less palatable Blended Scarlett. Alexis is def coming into her own now, watch out for her to keep going. But yeah Eva was very pleasant to write, even more so than expected. In hindsight I think we keep her around to merge boots on a more knowledgeable rewrite, but I am glad we gave her some spotlight without it being too much of anger, but not completely taking away from her character.
(Rj) Glad you enjoyed the start to the merge! I'm glad you appreciated our take on Eva, she really grew on us.
LordGemini (Trygve): The main thing I am happy about is you understood the idea of where Geoff was and his position in the game. I didn't want it to be out of character for him to vote Eva over Roman, but for it to make sense as to why he did, especially with the build up premerge with him being scared of her. This was another dramatic merge episode with a tie caused by GEOFF, as promised Gidgette has plenty of development to go. And the first OC finally bites the dust. We can't have every season be the same formula more or less. Hope you enjoyed it!
(Rj): Be careful what you wish for because I don't necessarily think that you wanted to see Laine go. Alliances are fluid and Geoff has labeled himself a power character. To echo what Trygve said, Geoff was written as being scared of Eva so that was something we hoped to build up. Hope you enjoyed the drama from this episode.
