What happens when the Universe goes bizarro? When 3D space as we know it is inverted, diverted, reverted... it then becomes as THEY know it. Someone, somewhere needs to 'break the 4th wall' - as it were - to set things right.

"Why won't this dang button work!?" Welch wondered, pounding her Handystick into the console before her.

"This was supposed to be a fun little experiment - the Seasonal Remix. But now the game's broken!"

Eternal Sphere wasn't looking so Eternal, anymore.

"I can try sending in another token, but what's the use!"

Indeed, what was intended as a fun little aside from Sphere Corp expanded into a big, bad bug - with the powers at be unable or unwilling to repair the issue.

"It looks like I'm gonna haveta jump into 3D once again, solve this from the inside!" Welch proclaimed. She set a few parameters for hew own avatar - she'd stick to her most common look once again, just as she appeared in real 4D life - and set strength to maximum. "Here we go!"

"Plugging herself into the console with a nearby visor-helm and wire, a shock of lightning later - and she vanished. Entry point - the Hinterlands. Where Rena and Midas were about to meet Ashton.

"I hope this is the right choice! If this existence resets while I'm inside it, I'm toast!" Indeed, the situation was a bit different for being from the next Dimension up, versus the 3D beings the Eternal Sphere was made up of. At the very least, Welch would need to violate the UP4...
