The Demon girl with the Temari laughed, "You were right Yahaba. A house just appeared out of nowhere!" she cheered. "You're so crude Susamaru! My Kimono is covered in dust now!" the other Demon, Yahaba growled. While the two bickered, Tamayo turned to Tanjuro, "quickly, take Haruka downstairs, she'll be safe from attack their Tanjuro" she ordered. Tanjuro nodded, and took the crying girl into his arms, hurrying down the stairs. Soon they reached the basement, where Haruka's Mother was locked in a cage, snarling and biting the metal bars.
"Mommy!" Haruka cried upon seeing her. Tanjuro placed her down, "stay here. It's too dangerous for you to be upstairs at the moment. After the bad Demons are gone, I'll come get you, okay?" he asked. The little girl clenched her fists and nodded, "good luck Mr Kamado" she said, clearly trying to be brave, despite the way her body shook, or the tears in her eyes. Tanjuro smiled, "you're so brave" he said, patting her on the head gently, before he took out his Sword and hurried back up the stairs, as the building shook around them. Once he made it back to the main floor, he found his Son to be dodging Temari as they smashed through the building.
"Is Haruka safe Father?!" Tanjiro cried, cutting one of the balls with his sword. "She's safe, don't worry. Where are the Demons?! And your Mother?" Tanjuro asked. "Outside! Mom went to fight off the Demons outside!" the 13-year-old replied, crying out as three of the Temari tore through Tamayo and Yushiro's bodies. "Miss Tamayo! Yushiro!" Tanjiro cried in horror. "We'll be fine Tanjiro! Don't worry about us, our wounds will heal soon! Just focus on yourself!" Tamayo replied as she pushed herself off the ground.
"Let's go Tanjiro!" Tanjuro called. "Right!" his Son agreed, as the Father and Son left the house to fight the two Demons alongside Kie. Tanjuro drew his sword, and let his flames engulf it, the black blade turning bright red. The Temari Demon stopped laughing and gasped, "you, th-those flames- those earings! What is this? This, man I can see. Who is that?" she asked herself. The Demon created more Temari, and thew them at the two Kamado's. Tanjuro and Tanjiro dodged or sliced through each ball, but Tanjuro suddenly noticed several arrows heading for his Son.
"Look out!" he cried, pushing Tanjiro out of the way, as the arrows drew several Temari towards them. The balls smashed through his arms and legs, causing Tanjuro to collapse to the ground. "Father!" Tanjiro cried, as Kie ran over to him, crying out through her muzzle. "I'm fine, I'm fine! Kie, you have to help Tanjiro!" Tanjuro cried, making his Wife nervously head back towards their Son. "Damn it, what do I do now?!" Tanjuro growled furiously, looking over his scattered limbs.

Tanjiro glanced back at his Father's form nervously, but he was forced to turn his attention back towards the Temari balls as they shot through the air at them. "Hey! Idiot Demon Slayer! The arrows will tell you which direction they'll go! So just dodge the arrows!" Yushiro called. "What arrows? I can't see any!" Tanjiro replied. "You seriously can't see them? Fine, then I'll lend you my sense of sight! That should at least allow you to behead the arrow Demon! Your Father and I will take the Temari Demon" Yushiro replied, as he threw a piece of paper over to Tanjiro. It attached itself to his forehead, and suddenly he could see several red arrows, each one guiding a Temari ball.
"I can see them now! Thanks a lot Yushiro! Mom, can you help me with this Demon?!" Tanjiro called to his Mother, who was dodging one of the balls. Kie looked up at her Son and nodded. "Alright! We can do this!" he said firmly, getting into a ready stance.

Meanwhile, Tanjuro had finally regenerated his limbs, standing up with a sigh, "that took too long! Kie, Tanjiro!" he said, looking around for his Wife and Son. He saw them fighting the Demon with the arrows. Tanjuro turned to look at the Temari Demon with a growl. "Hah! Man, your regeneration speed is so slow! I don't know why the Master is scared of a weak Demon like you!" she cried, as she threw more Temari at him. Tanjuro jumped over them, grabbing his Sword from where it had fallen to the ground. He once again ignited his blade with his flames.
As each Temari came within his reach, Tanjuro sliced through them, setting each one on fire as he did. The Demon girl stepped back, a drop of sweat falling down the side of her face, "damn it, what is it with those flames?! Every part of me is screaming to get away right now! But I can't! If I don't do as he says, then-" she trembled in fear, her six arms wrapping around herself in a hug. Tanjuro looked at the Demon girl in sympathy. She was just being used by Muzan. A fate which he had managed to avoid, by some miracle. He wanted to help this girl somehow, but at this rate, the only way to help her would be to kill her and set her free.
Tanjuro grimaced. He had no choice. "Hinokami Kagura: Fake Rainbow" he breathed, running towards Susamaru. The Temari Demon tossed one of her balls at him, but as it hit, the Kamado Demon disappeared. "What?!" Susamaru cried in shock. Tanjuro materialized behind her, and cut her head off with a flash of flame. Susamaru gasped as her head fell to the ground.

Kie growled at Yahaba, as she dodged his arrows. "Hinokami Kagura: Vertical Fire Wheel!" Tanjiro cried, enveloping his arrows in flames and using the added force to decapitate the enemy Demon. Yahaba's head hit the ground, "ahh! Damn you! All I had to do was bring him your heads! But now my face is filthy because of you!" he yelled, his hands raising. Kie had a flash of realisation, and hurried over to Tanjiro, growing larger as she did. "If I'm dying, I swear I'll bring you down with me!" Yahaba cried. "HHMMMM!" Kie cried, wrapping her body around her Son just as the arrows the enemy Demon had attached to Tanjiro activated.
Tanjiro and Kie were forcefully yanked towards the wall of the yard. "Mom!" Tanjiro cried, before Kie's body was slammed into the brick wall. She whimpered in pain, but clutched Tanjiro tighter. They were then yanked upwards with massive force, before being dropped to the ground again. Kie once again took the hit for Tanjiro. Again and again and again, Tanjiro was dragged trough the air, his Mother clutching onto him with the single-minded determination to protect her Son. She made sure to hold his head close against her with one arm, to keep it stable. Despite her decreased awareness after becoming a Demon, Kie still remembered how important a human's neck and head were.
That was why she made sure to keep it still and protected. "Mom!" Tanjiro rasped, his Sword clutched in a white-knuckled grip. He still had to help his Father with the other Demon after all. Another 2 minutes of being smashed around by the arrows later, and the two Kamado's fell to the ground. Tanjiro felt numb, but he still tried to get up and check on his Mother. "M-Mom! Are you, okay?!" he asked. However, when he looked, he found her to already be asleep on the ground. Glancing around, revealed the Arrow Demon to have faded away completely now.
He sighed, groaning as his body was aching. "I have to, go help Father! Come on, get up!" Tanjiro forced his body to move.

Susamaru faded away into ash, staring up at the Demon above her. Then her gaze went to her Temari ball on the ground nearby. Her fading arm reached out for it, "M-Mari" she muttered. Tanjuro brought the ball over to her and knelt down in front of her, "here's your Temari" he said softly. Her hands clutched it as tears welled in her eyes, "play, with me?" she asked. Tanjuro's eyes widened, before they softened with pity, "you were just a child, weren't you? Like my own children" he said softly.
Tanjuro reached down and gripped one of Susamaru's remaining hands in his own, "it's okay. You'll be free soon" he continued. The other Demon sobbed quietly as her head slowly disappeared. Soon, she was gone. "Father?" Tanjiro asked from behind him. Tanjuro turned to see his Son. He sighed, "it's over now Tanjiro. We're safe".

Half an hour later, the sun had risen, and everyone was resting safely in Tamayo's house. "Are you hurt Mr Kamado?" Haruka asked worriedly. Tanjuro smiled, "I'm fine, don't worry. My injuries have already healed" he explained.
Tamayo was checking him over, "Tanjiro said that you lost all four of your limbs in the fight. How did you reattach them?" she asked. "I think I used my blood. It hardened, and I used it like ropes to pull my arms and legs back to me" Tanjuro replied after a moment of thought, "I wasn't really thinking about it. All I knew was that my Son needed help. The next thing I knew, my limbs were reattached, and I was rejoining the fight" he explained. "Hm. Well, I'll examine your blood as soon as I've got time. But for now, we'll have to leave" Tamayo replied.
"Huh? Leave?" Haruka asked in confusion, looking up at the Doctor, "why?" she asked. "We're too close to Kibutsuji now. If we stay here, your Father is likely to find us easily. We'll still be able to get any blood samples the Kamado's send us" Yushiro scoffed, as though that was obvious. "Yushiro, she's a child. And she didn't even know that her Father was the Demon King until tonight!" Tamayo scolded him. Haruka looked down, remembering everything she'd learned about her Father. Finding out that he was only using them, and had thrown her and her Mother away as soon as they became inconvenient hurt her in ways she couldn't describe.
Tanjuro knelt down so he could be at Haruka's level, "I promise you'll be taken care of at the house where my children are. There is another family of children there, whose Mother was also turned into a Demon, but she refused to eat them. I'm sure you'd get along with all of them Haruka" he assured. "Wait, what? What other family Father?" Tanjiro asked in confusion. "Oh, did I really forget to tell you about them Tanjiro? Sorry" his Father apologised. After he'd explained to his Son about his previous Mission, and how the Shinazugawa family's Mother, who'd become a Demon refused to eat her own children, he'd decided to take them to Urokodaki's house.
"If that's the case, then Urokodaki may not have room in his house. He already has four of my Siblings, when Nezuko isn't there, as well as the seven Shinazugawa Siblings and their Mother. It would be rude to impose on him anymore, wouldn't it Father?" Tanjiro asked. "Well, we have nowhere else to go. Unless we can get a new house for everyone" Tanjuro suggested. "Why don't we talk to Urokodaki about that when we get back to his house? And should we send Mrs Sninazugawa to Miss Tamayo somehow" Tanjiro asked. Tamayo, who'd walked away to help pack, returned and rejoined the conversation at the sound of her name, "what do you mean?" she asked.
After explaining the situation to the Demon Doctor, Tamayo frowned in thought, "it may be too dangerous to transport Miss Shizu to our new Clinic. For many reasons. But I can send you with medication for her that will alter her body to only need a small amount of human blood to survive, like Yushiro and I" she replied. "Really? That would be perfect! Thank you so much!" Tanjiro said with a grateful smile.
"Tanjuro, Tanjiro. If you ever get the chance to fight them, the Demons with numbers engraved on their eyeballs are called the 12 Kizuki. They are Kibutsuji's most powerful subordinates. It will be difficult, but they should have the highest concentration of Kibutsuji's blood. If you can collect their blood and send it to me, it would help me create a cure faster" Tamayo explained.
"I see. Well then, we'll do our best to get their blood for you Miss Tamayo" Tanjuro replied with a smile.
Ң
Soon after that, the Kamado's and Haruka left the Clinic. "I think you'll like it there. There are lots of other kids to play with" Tanjiro said with a smile. Haruka looked down, "um, before we go. Can we stop at my old house? I want to take something of my Mommy's with me" she asked. "Of course" Tanjuro said kindly. And so the little girl led the Kamado's to her old house. Upon entering it, she hurried up to her Mother's room and looked through her things. "What are you looking for?" Tanjiro asked, peeking over her shoulder.
"I'm trying to find something of my Mommy's that the bad man didn't buy her" Haruka answered, digging through her draws, before pulling out a Kimono with a smile, "this! I want to take this!" she said cheerfully. It was a simple white one, with little Sakura Blossum's decorating it. "It was my Mommy's Wedding Kimono for my other Daddy. He died last year in a car accident. Ever since the bad man married Mommy, we stopped wearing Kimono, and started wearing other clothes instead. Mommy put her Wedding Kimono away, so it wouldn't make him upset. I want to take care of it for her" Haruka said. Tanjiro smiled and patted Haruka on the head, "that sounds like a wonderful idea Haruka" he said. Soon, the Kimono was packed into a special bag, and Tanjuro picked the little girl up. They left the City just as the sun rose.
