Chapter 20
"Ugh… huh… what…"
Suiryu… was in a tight spot.
But, he wasn't the only one. Somehow he got knocked out. He couldn't explain what happened, all he remembered was approaching the fairy he saw in the alleyway, only to be struck by a powder and then… he woke up here.
"Where the hell am I?" he whispered.
Yet all around he, he saw Yuuji tied up, so was Megumi. However… Sukuna was nowhere to be seen.
He tried to get a sense of his surroundings, but, he couldn't. It was pitch black, he could see through the gloom no problem. Yet, as he tried to focus on the world outside of this room, he sensed nothing.
"How on earth is this happening?" he whispered.
Lights soon came on.
"UGH!" moaned Yuuji. "Huh… what?"
"Morning sunshine," Suiryu said sarcastically. "Do you remember how we got here?"
Yuuji nervously shook his head.
Megumi soon came too, but appeared just as confused as everyone else as to how he got there. "ACHOO!" ears sprouted from the side of his head. "Damn it…"
"Can't cover a sneeze when your hands are pinned back…" Suiryu tried to move but found it difficult, also… he felt something was wrong.
A massive door suddenly opened.
Men dressed in odd, strange looking leather began to enter, and yet, coming up the rear, was Sukuna.
"What the hell!" Suiryu protested.
"Be silent beast, we got all we need on you… huh, dragons are such greedy monsters… to think, you enslaved this man for how many years to be your mere human toy!" one shouted.
Suiryu and Yuuji were utterly confused. "Human toy? You shitting me right now? He's not even that human! That's Ryomen Sukuna!" Suiryu shouted.
"Don't you see? This is how they treated me!" Sukuna… oddly enough was crying. He turned on the water works at the flip of a switch and gave them an unbelievable sob story…
"I haven't seen my family… in years… they… they promised my family would be taken care of. But these… LIZARDS wanted a human slave to boss around, pick on. I was called a worm more times than I care to admit… I was nothing but a worm to them… Hic… hic… I don't even know if my family is okay anymore… my child… how old have you become since my absence…" then, he unleashed a torrent of tears. Sounding so heartbroken to it all.
"You fucking ASSHOLE!" Suiryu roared.
"AH! I'm sorry master! Forgive me please!" Sukuna hit the ground, prostrating himself before a tied up Suiryu. "Please, don't hit me anymore, I can't take it!" The cried and trembled in fear before him...
"It's all clear now, the dragons are attempting to enslave humans in order to make them servants… was he but a test subject?" one of the men in black leather demanded.
"What? NO!" Yuuji protested. "This is a BIG misunderstanding here. That's Ryomen Sukuna, he's a demon sorcerer!"
The men peered at him. One smirked. "Really? I know the legend of Ryomen Sukuna, arrogant in his power, four arms and eyes. Curse marks and not to mention a disfigured face… he has NONE of that!"
Was… he waiting for this moment?
Sukuna mentioned that he knew of the dragon slayers ahead of time, didn't he?
Peering down, Suiryu looked to Sukuna… who now smiled wickedly to him!
Suiryu… was getting seriously pissed off.
"I wouldn't try to move from your bindings, this is the hair of an ancient dragon, one of the first we killed. When a dragon is killed, their bodies become some of the strongest material known to man… and many are unknown. This hair binds dragons down, they can even cut through scales. So… that being said, which one do we skin first? We need new materials…"
"Now, now John. No need to jump the gun here…"
"But he is the best butcher, Felix."
They were bickering among themselves, one of the slayers had to 'cox' Sukuna off the ground and assure him he was 'safe from the evil dragons'.
"I'm going to beat the utter shit out of him…" Suiryu muttered.
"If you are going to kill these dragons, can I make a suggestion?" Sukuna asked as he settled himself.
"Of course, your knowledge of these beasts is most useful!" Felix decreed.
Sukuna lifted his arm and pointed to Megumi. "He should be the first to die, he was the worst to me! All I ask, for some solace in all of this is that he goes first… and I suggest you aim right for his heart."
