Jake cooked lunch cautiously as he watched Marshall sleep. He has been on his toes all day today, wondering when the vampire was going to wake up or if he was just pretending to sleep so the dark-haired male could scare the him.
"Morning," Finn announced as he climbed down the from their shared room. The blonde still looked pretty tired as he went to the fridge and grabbed some juice, chugging some down before walking to the table and sitting down.
"Morning? Dude it's like 3pm," Jake told his brother as he brought the soup and grilled cheese sandwiches to the table. "I was just about to go wake you up," he told his younger male as he sat down and started to eat.
"Hm yeah sorry, I was up late last night," The tired male apologized as he dipped his sandwich into the tomato soup before eating it.
"Is Marshall going home?" Jake asked the blonde as he peered over at the couch again cautiously.
Finn shrugged slightly in response, "Probably not until nighttime at least," he pointed out to his older brother. He wasn't going to send Marshall off in the sunlight to get hurt or worse. "We will probably just hang out here," He added as he licked his fingers clean of some grease and soup.
Jake sighed a little, "Man you have been busy a lot this week, I thought we were gonna hang out today," he complained slightly. They haven't got to do much with Finn going out all the time with Flame or Marshall. "I still wanted to play that card game," Jake told the blonde as he picked his bowl up and drank the rest of his soup.
The blonde grimaced a little at the idea of playing cards with Jake again. "Well..we have sometime before Marshall wakes up, we could do a quick adventure? Or patrol?" he suggested to his companion. He wanted to hang out but avoid the cards games.
Jakes tail began to wag hearing the younger male as he nodded, "Alright man I am in, lets pick something from the book," he told the other adventurer as he stretched his arm across the living room to grab the book from the shelf and pulled it back over to them.
Finn laughed as he stood up, "You pick, I am going to go get dressed really fast," the human told his adopted brother as he headed back up to their room to put his clothes on and wash off a little.
Finn: I laughed hearing, "Yeah man, pick from the book, I will go get dressed," I told him before handing it to him and heading upstairs. Once dressed the blonde came back down to join the dog. He walked to the table before looking over the page Jake was one, "Find one?' He asked his best friend.
"Here," Jake told the other male as he showed him the page better. "Beast with one hundred eyes, this one looks cool!" he suggested once he finished reading the page.
"Man he looks gross," Finn told the dog as he slipped his backpack one and grabbed his demon sword. "Let's go get that freak," he told his brother in an excited tone as he jogged over to the front door.
"Yeah!" Jake called in agreement as he stretched under Finn's legs once he was out of the house then growing to a large size, lifting the boy onto his back. The pair cheered as they ran out to the forest to find their next evil target.
Prince Gumball wiped his head tiredly as he worked on a fire-resistant potion. He was making good head way. Pushing down his emotions and going into work mode was really speeding up the progress. He was ready to start testing samples on rats. The candy prince mixed together a few chemicals, adding a little bit more of certain items to increase the resistance. The prince shivered feeling a sudden cold breeze hit him. His head jerked up; he knew what usually followed sudden freezes.
"Hello, my prince~" Ice Queen cooed to the younger male as she floated into the room. The white-haired woman waved her hand, making ice form around the males hands and ankles as she approached the prince. "I'm sorry it's been so long dear, I have missed you," The ice mage cooed as she cupped the prince's pink cheek, he was so pretty~
Gumball gasped as his wrist froze, causing him to drop his equipment on the ground, "Ice Queen! Let me go this instant!" the candy prince demanded as he started to squirm in his chains. "I am busy! I don't have time for your delusions!" he snapped at the older woman annoyed and now uncomfortable.
The older woman hummed as she rubbed his soft cheek with her thumb, "Aw, your so tense dear," she pouted to the boy. Ice Queen easily scooped the prince up into her arms. "Let me take you home love! I will make you dinner and you can relax," the queen assured the younger male. The white-haired woman laughed loudly before taking off back out the window, floating above the candy kingdom and back to her own land. She wanted to hurry before Finn and Jake tried to 'rescue' her love again.
"No let me go you crazy hag!" Gumball yelled at the mage before looking down at his kingdom as he was taking from his lab, "Help! Help!" he called down to his people. He watched his citizen take notice before starting to run around in panic. The prince sighed softly was he watched them, he was just going to have to wait for someone to come get him…The pink male grunted when the queen pressed her finger to his mouth to quiet him.
"None of that now, we are going to be so happy together, you will see," She assured him in a bit of a crazed tone, she did sound sincere though. "We are going to fall and love and have a huge wedding," The woman squealed excitedly as she held the boy close.
The prince rolled his eyes slightly, still trying to pull at his hands "I don't want to get married" he complained annoyed. He really wasn't sure how to get it into this lunatic's head that he didn't like her. Gumball wasn't even really sure why she liked him. They had nothing in common anyways, "I don't know how many times I have to explain this to you," he told her.
Ice Queen smiled warmly at the prince, "I don't want to fight dear, I know you will make a wonderful husband for me. I am the ONLY one who loves you~ and the only one who can tolerate you, because I love you so much," she cooed as she pet the pink males head. Her words came out sweet even though they were filled with venom.
Gumball gave the woman a shocked look, before frowning and looking away upset. That hit kind of hard and was just rude. People liked him, he wasn't THAT intolerable, was he? The prince knew he was a bit straight forward and strict, but he was a good guy! Then again, maybe if he was more likeable, Finn and Marshall wouldn't get together.
"Here we are my love," The queen announced as she landed inside of her ice castle before placing the other royal into the prison cell of ice. "This is just to keep you safe," Ice Queen assured the boy as she shut the door and locked it, keeping him locked inside. Once satisfied the prince couldn't escape, the woman waved her hand, letting the ice melt off his wrist and ankles. "What bliss to have you all to myself. We'll be together forever, my love~" The woman told him excited before laughing loudly.
The prince just glared at the woman before shivering as he rubbed his wrist, glad the chains were off. He was used to this by now, but he was not in the mood for this today. The male walked to the corner before curling up to try and keep warm and sulk. Now Finn would have to come save him and he really wasn't in the mood to see the blonde right now. Oh, glob what if he brought Marshall Lee? That would be incredibly embarrassing. Gumball groaned as he pressed his hands to his face.
"Oh, love...what's the matter?" Ice Queen asked her captive as she watched him with a worried look. He looked so down and upset. He didn't usually get like this, the prince was usually more active. She wanted to make him feel better and comfort him.
"Well for one I have been kidnapped and being held against my will," the male snapped back annoyed as he held his legs tighter to his chest. That was a stupid question, but she was right, he was upset and now he had nothing to do but think about it. He wanted to go home and work.
"And for two?" The woman asked the boy softly as she gripped the cell bars and tilted her head curiously. Ice Queen couldn't do much about the first part, but if she could help her love with something she would in a heartbeat.
The pink prince rolled his eyes, not wanting to talk about it, especially with his captor. "Its personal," Gumball told the woman forcefully. It wasn't like she could actually help him anyways.
Ice Queen whined loudly as she pressed closer to the bars, "What is it, love? I wanna make you happy," She complained to her prisoner, wanting to cheer him up. She didn't want her husband to be depressed, it was no fun.
Gumball sighed loudly at her pestering. Guess there wasn't too much harm in telling her, he thought, knowing she wasn't going to leave him alone until he talked. "Marshall Lee and Finn are...together I guess," the prince mumbled to her as he picked at the fabric of his pants slightly. He was a little curious about what her thoughts would be on the situation.
The white-haired woman hummed softly hearing the pink male, "Why does that upset you?" she questioned him, wondering if she needed to go beat them up. Ice Queen wasn't completely sure why the two being together would make her husband this upset but she didn't quite like the idea of it either. The situation didn't sit right with her.
"I..I don't know, I guess if they are together then they won't ever need to come around me," Gumball explained hesitantly to his captor. Marshall hated him and only came around to bother or make fun of him. What if Finn didn't want to come around anymore because of that? Who would protect his kingdom? Who would come talk to him? His candy people weren't the..best company, which was his own fault of course. The prince found himself alone often, but Finn always came and made him feel better, the same way Marshall used to. He didn't want that to stop.
Ice Queen considered his words, "Sooo...you want Marshall Lee and Finn to break up?" she asked as she let the cell bars go. She could somewhat understand what Gumball was saying. He didn't want the two to abandon him. She knew what it was like to be lonely and didn't want her love to feel that way even if he wouldn't be. He would always have her to keep him company.
"I don't know.." the prince replied as he put his elbows on his knees and sighed. He leaned onto his arms as he frowned deeply, "I really don't want to talk about this anymore," Gumball told the woman in a softer tone. Talking about it was making him feel worse. He needed her to go away so he could at least try and think of the correct measurements for his project.
The queen studied him before grinning at him, "I can break them up for you?" she suggested to him. Finn deserved it anyways. He was always ruining her dates and getting in the way of her love interest, why shouldn't she give the blonde a taste of his own medicine?
Gumball's jaw dropped open in slight surprise as he stared at the older woman. The prince shook his head when he found himself considering the idea, "No, no, we should really stay out of it," he told the ice mage. That would be a terrible, he didn't even know why he considered it, even if it was just for a second.
"Oh, come on. I know you want me to," Ice Queen teased her captive as she bounced slightly. Even if he didn't want to, now she kind of wanted to do it anyways. It would be fun to ruin Finn's day and get some revenge.
"No I don't, now you stay out of it," The prince scolded the older woman as he shook his finger at her to get his point across. He was starting to regret talking to her about it. He didn't think should would want to actually step in.
Ice Queen giggled deviously, "I don't think I will~" she purred to her captive in a sing along tone. This was going to be so much fun! She would also be making her love happy, even if he didn't want her to step in. She knew this would perk him up.
"Ugh! I don't know why I even said anything to you!" Gumball snapped at the winter mage as he crossed his arms. "Just leave it alone! You're going to ruin everything!" He yelled upset, his face turning red in frustration and embarrassment. What if it gets back to them what he told her!? Oh, glob this was turning out to be a terrible day.
The older woman pouted as she was snapped at, "Don't be upset sweetie, I will take care of everything," she assured the boy. "I will be back soon my love," Ice Queen cooed to her captive before blowing a kiss to him as she flew back out the window of the room.
"Don't!" the prince called after her as he jumped up, gripping the cell bars, and watched her leave. Gumball groaned loudly as he let his head fall against the icy cell bars. What did he just do? This wasn't going to end well..
Ice Queen began to look for Finn and Jake as she arrived at the treehouse but couldn't find the pair. To her surprise, the only person in the house was Marshall Lee. Her prince was right, the two seem to be in a relationship and Finn's boyfriend was already staying the night at his house. It wasn't fair, she could only rarely get a prince to stay overnight at her castle. The mage twisted her necklace as she chanted a spell. Snow began to swarm around her, completely covering her before falling. The queen stretched out her new form of a human boy. "Ugh these clothes are so messy," she complained as she looked at the clothes she was now wearing, an identical copy of Finns outfit, along with his body and voice to match. This should do the trick~ the ice wizard thought as she entered the house and looked around, empty. The disguised wizard went to the sleeping vampire before shaking him awake.
"Mm stop it dude I am sleeping," Marshall complained as he peeked up at the Finn imposter before waving them off and curling back up into the couch.
"No, um, you need to leave now," The Finn copy told the vampire before crossing his arms, gaining a bit of confidence in the ruse. "I don't think we should date, I don't really like you," they continued as Marshall rolled back over and gave the wizard an upset look.
"Are you being serious right now because this isn't funny at all," the vampire growled softly as he sat up and pulled the blankets off his lap.
"Oh yes, I am very serious," the Finn look alike confirmed, "Your just too..messy and bad," he finished. This was going well, the ice mage thought. Marshall was so mad, Finn would be in so much trouble.
Marshall gritted his teeth as he stood up, taller than the now human male shaped wizard. "Really? You are serious going diss me like that then go pick Flame over me? He can't touch you without hurting you! He is literally controlling an EVIL kingdom" the singer snapped at the Finn look alike, who just tilted their head as if to process what he was saying. Why was Finn doing this!? Why was he being so weird!?
Confusion hit the wizard as they listened to the vampire king. Flame? Like the prince? Finn had two boys fussing over him!? "Oh...ah...Yeah. I like him. He's way...hotter." the look alike said as he looked away from the singer.
"Yeah. Literally!" The dark-haired male snapped as his eyes lit up red. "After everything this is how you end things!?" The vampire demanded. He didn't expect to lose to Flame Prince, but he definitely didn't expect Finn to be such an asshole about it. Things went so well last night, what happened!?
"I think you should go dude," The wizard told the other male, trying mimic Finn's speech as they pointed at the door. They could play this game all day but Finn could be home soon and the ice wizard didn't want to get caught and beat up again.
"Fine!" Marshall screamed back as he yanked a blanket off the couch and wrapped it around himself. The vampire shoved the window open before taking off out of it. This was bullshit! Marshall thought feeling hurt as he flew back home. He was extremely confused and hurt by whatever the hell just happened.
The wizard crackled loudly as she broke character and watched the vampire fly away. Perfect! This was going great! She thought amused. Now to do Finn..she thought as she raised her hands, letting the snow start to cover their body until she looked like a exact copy of the vampire king. The look alike got into the makeshift bed feeling giddy as they covered up to wait. They got comfortable but didn't have to wait too long for the pair to return home.
"Man that thing was way more nasty in person, they need to update that book," Finn complained as he entered the house dragging a bag of gold behind him. The human brought the bag to the rest of the jewels before dumping it into the pile.
Jake laughed softly as he followed the human in, "Yeah he was weird, I will draw the extract arms in the book," he assured the human as he headed to the kitchen. The dog look at the couch before jumping a little seeing the vampire staring back at him, now awake.
"Hey Marshall, did you sleep well?" Finn as the dark-haired male as he walked over to the couch, "Were you up long?" he added. He was hoping the vampire wasn't up for too long while they were gone.
"Uh yeah, fine, just woke up," The disguised mage dismissed as they watched the blonde come over to them. "I need to talk to you though," They told the human as the vampire look alike stood up.
Finn tilted his head hearing the singer, "Oh okay, whats up?" he asked unsure. Marshall was acting a little weird. The vampire was usually a bit more… charismatic? The human thought as he sat on the shoulder of the couch to listen.
"I don't think this is going to work out. Your too immature for me, and I think I can do better," The wizard said, trying to match Marshall's speech. She knew less about the vampire then she did about her Gumball and Finn, but she was sure she could pass as him.
The human frowned hearing Marshall begin before opening my mouth slightly in surprise, was he being serious? The blonde looked down a little when Marshall finished, "Oh…okay...it's fine I get it," he responded softly as he held himself slightly to try and comfort himself. He didn't get it..Marshall did all that just to shut him down? What did he do wrong? Maybe he should of picked faster? Or was this all just Marshall playing games with him like Jake suggested?
"Kay, see ya" The vampire look alike said, unaffected as he floated up. The wizard left out the window as she grinned to herself, perfect! That was so easy! She thought as she headed back to the ice kingdom. Her prince was going to be so happy with her.
Finn watched the vampire before gasping in shock and jumping up when he just left into the sunlight without burning up. What the glob!? He thought as he looked at Jake who seemed just as surprised as the human was.
"Dude, I don't think that wasn't Marshall..." Jake said surprised. The dog was a little relieved too, what he said to Finn was harsh and he knew his bro was not going to take it well.
The human nodded in agreement, "No, it wasn't. Follow them!" Finn called to Jake as he grabbed onto his brother. The dog lifted the human up on his back before growing bigger as he quickly followed the imposer. Who was trying to ruin their relationship!? The human thought annoyed as he kept track of the flying look alike. Finn growled softly seeing the imposter slowly shed a cover of snow until only the Ice Queen was left. "Ice Queen!" The blonde told Jake before shaking his head, "But why?" he asked confused. Why would the ice wizard do this? She didn't usually bother his personal life unless she wanted to hang out.
"I don't know, man. Let's go find out," Jake said annoy, he was going to kick that hags butt for trying to hurt his brother like that. He was just rude and a bit creepy.
"Yeah and beat some sense into her," the human agreed as he held onto his companions back. They watched the wizard enter the ice castle as they followed her. Not too far behind.
"I'm back, my love," Ice Queen cooed in a lovingly tone as she walked to her prince's cell and grinned at him. "You will be happy to know everything is taken care of and those two wont want take for a loooooong time," She assured the candy prince as he looked up at her shocked.
"What did you do!" the pink male demanded as he stood up, angry she ignored him and went thought with it. This was humiliating..he had the Ice Queen break up his ex and their new boyfriend, how low can he go?
Ice Queen clapped her hands together happily, "Oh it doesn't matter! What matters is they broke up and you can be happy now," she cooed to the prince. "Now we can get married!" The wizard continued as she spun around with her dress, pretending to dance.
"That's not want I wanted!" Gumball complained as he gripped the cool bars to the cage, face red in embarrassment. "I don't want to get married either!" He scolded the Queen as he narrowed his purple eyes at her. This was ridiculous, how much longer did he have to stay here?
The white haired looked at the prince annoyed, she did all that for him and he was still upset! She opened her mouth as she walked towards the pink prince to tell him off but was cut off as she was kicked to the ground.
"Enough Ice Queen!" Finn yelled as he flew through the window, knocking the woman down and away from the prince. Jake followed the human in shortly after, heading straight to the cell door. The dog shaped his hand into the key, easily unlocking the door and holding it open for the candy prince.
"How?!" The Ice Queen screamed in rage as she flew back up off the ground to face the Human. Finn should be at home sulking! Not ruining her genius plans to keep the sweet prince all to herself. The blonde couldn't have figured out her plan could he!?
"Your loony Ice Queen! Stay out of my relationships!" Finn scolded the ice mage before looking at Gumball. "Are you okay your highness? Let's get out of here," he told the older male as he carefully led him out of the cell. The human didn't even know the candy prince was here, he also didn't know how they both knew him, and Marshall went on a date last night. This whole situation just kept getting weirder.
Gumball watched the pair bust in and easily get the Ice Queen away from him. The prince relaxed slightly as Jake opened the door for him. "I am so sorry for the trouble I must have caused you two," The prince told his hero's as he quickly left the cell and went to Finn, feeling ashamed and embarrassed at this whole situation.
"It's okay man, I know it wasn't your fault. Let's get you out of here, it's been a crazy day," Finn assured the older male as he gripped his shoulder to assure him. The prince smiled weakly to him before going to Jake so they could leave.
"No!" The ice mage snapped as she froze Finn's legs into a block of ice. "He is mine!" she hissed out, as the queen watched the dog lift the prince up on his back and climb out the window with him.
The human pulled his sword out before stabbing the ice block on his feet, shattering it, "I am not in the mood!" he shouted to the villain. The boy ran at the evil queen before kicking her hands away from Jake and Prince Gumball in case she tried to freeze the two. Finn quickly punched the mage as she turned back to attack him.
Ice Queen fell to the ground as she was hit before starting to sob loudly, "Why doesn't anyone love me?!" she into the ground as Finn panted softly.
"People would probably like you if you stopped kidnapping them and trying to ruin their relationships, " The human scolded the older woman as he crossed his arms, Jake and Gumball waiting just outside the window for him to finish.
The crazed woman cried loudly as she held her cool hand to her cheek, "I was only doing it for him! He was upset about you two being together!" The ice wizard accused as she pointed her finger at Gumball. She wanted him to explain that she only was doing it for him.
Gumball's face went pure red as he crossed his arms and looked away stubbornly, "I was not, Finn and Marshall Lee can do whatever they want," he said sternly. He was completely embarrassed and now the old had was throwing him under the bus. He very specifically told her not to do it.
The human sighed hearing the two." Whatever. Now stop poking your nose in our business or I will have to take you down again," The blonde warned the Ice Queen before heading to the window and jumping out onto Jake back, in front of Gumball. He didn't like having to beat her up but if she kept acting all evil he had too.
"I really am so sorry about all this," The candy prince told Finn, holding onto the shorter boys waist as the grouped headed down the icy mountain, back towards the candy kingdom. He was never going to live this down if Marshall found out about it. At least Finn didn't seem upset and seemed to know it was the Ice Queens fault.
"Its cool PG, but what I want to know is how you two found out about their date, I only found out yesterday," Jake told the candy prince. He didn't get it, how did news travel that fast?
"Oh yes, well, Flame Prince told me," Gumball admitted to the pair as they entered the grasslands. The prince was thankful for the warmer temperature. He was up there for a few hours, and it was freezing.
Finn looked back at the royal confused, "What? Why would he do that?" the human questioned the pink male. Flame Prince was going around telling people he was dating Marshall? He didn't get it, he was sure he explained that it was just a date. Was this FP's way to say he wasn't interested anymore?
Jake frowned as he carried the two on his back before looking back over his shoulder at the two, "How does he know that?" the dog asked his two riders. Finn didn't really tell anyone. Unless Finn, for some reason, told Flame Prince that on his date, "And, no offense your highness, but why would he go tell you about it?" Jake asked confused. Where Prince Gumball and Flame Prince hanging out now? They hated each other, that didn't make sense.
Gumball sighed softly "I am not sure," the prince replied. "Flame Prince asked me for a favor then declined shortly after," he explained, "He said he wouldn't need it since Finn and Marshall Lee were together now," he finished. The prince was ready to get home and be done with this whole situation already.
"A favor?" Finn asked the candy prince in a curious tone, wondering what Gumball could do for the hot-headed prince.
"Nothing bad I promise you, just a surprise," Prince Gumball assured the human. "I will tell you when I finish it, I wouldnt want to get your hopes up and not be able to complete it," the prince promised the human as he kept a good grip on his waist, trying not the wrinkle the boys shirt.
"Well, Finn and Marshall aren't together. I guess Marshall confessed some feels or something, and now they are talking it out with Flame and Marshall to find out whose best for him. 'I' think he needs to go with Flame," Jake explained to the candy prince as he walked. The dog was hoping that today opened Finn's eyes, even if it was a fake Marshall.
Gumball's eyes widened as he listen to the magical dog,"His not?" he asked as the prince blushing lightly. Did he panic for nothing? The pink male frowned again when Jake said Marshall had confessed his feelings for the human though. So Marshall likes him..and Finn just doesn't know yet who he likes yet? The royal thought as he heart continued to ache.
Jake hummed softly; it sounded like Prince Gumball was jealous again. If he like Finn then he should of said something before, but now he had two other guys going after him, the human didn't need to add a third one to the mix. "I think Marshall is just trying to mess with Finn's head like he always does. He can't be trusted, man..." the dog said, not wanting Finn to choose Marshall then for Marshall to end up leaving him. Then he wasn't going to be able to choose Flame again...Jake thought to himself, not wanting Finn to lose his opportunity over that vampire. "I think you should take this as an opportunity to really get with Flame," Jake continued, wanting Finn to be happy.
Finn grunted hearing Jake, "Dude What is your problem with Marshall?" he asked his brother annoyed. Jake has been nothing but negative about him, but he liked both of them. "Flame Prince isn't perfect, he doesn't like adventures, but Marshall does. Flame Prince is really busy and I can't even touch him, not that I am holding that against him but it would be nice," the human explained annoyed at his brothers attitude at his friend.
"He forced you to be his servant, he tried to kill me. He messes with your feels all the time. He is never serious; he lies a lot...How am I supposed to just let you be with someone like that?" Jake asked the younger male as they entered the candy kingdom. The large dog lowered to the ground to let the two off his back. "Sure, Flame is hotheaded, but so is Marshall. Flame at least takes care of his responsibilities, and now that his becoming king, he is a lot calmer then he used to be," Jake continued as the two slide off his back and landed on the ground. "I just want to keep you from making a choice you'll regret..." he assured Finn as the dog returned to his normal shape again.
The prince looked between the two slightly as they argued over the situation. Maybe he should tell them about the potion? If Finn knew he could touch Flame Prince, maybe he would forget about Marshall? If anything, he needed to hurry and give it to Finn to surprise him. Gumball decided he was not comfortable with the idea of Marshall and Finn dating and now that he knew they weren't, he wanted to prevent it from happening. It seemed Jake agreed with him on that.
"Yeah but that was just a prank, Marshall is serious this time. He wouldn't hurt me like that," Finn told him, "I can do this myself," he said confidently.
Jake just sighed a little as he rubbed his head. "Okay, okay, man...just..." Jake started before trailing off, not wanting to start another argument. There was something off about Marshall just 'confessing' suddenly out of the blue to him. He never showed much real interest in Finn before, but he was older now.
Finn watched Jake before looking at Prince Gumball when it seemed like his brother was done trying to share his options. "Sorry about that, are you okay?" the blonde asked the royal as he checked over him a little, "She didn't hurt you, did she?" he continued, concerned.
"Oh no, I am quite alright, thank you for the rescue," Gumball thanked the two before blushing again, "And sorry again," he continued as he dusted himself off a bit. "I should head inside, I was working on a few things," he admitted before waving at his two heroes' as he walked in. His candy people were waiting to eagerly check on him and make sure he was fine.
"Okay PG, see you later," the human replied as he waved back. Finn felt bad for talking about all this in front of the royal, but rumors seemed to be floating around now. He wasn't sure why but for some reason every time Jake told him to pick Flame Prince all I wanted to do is pick Marshall. "Let's go check on Marshall," He told Jake as he started to walk towards the dark forest. Finn had a feeling Ice Queen got to him first and was hoping he just went home.
"Think he went to his house?" Jake asked the human as he moved under his legs and grew again, letting the boy ride on his back again since it was a long walk. The dog wanted Finn to listen to him but sometimes the only way you learn is by making mistakes.
"Yeah, I hope so," Finn replied as he let his brother lift him up as they walked. The blonde sighed tiredly as he held onto the dog. He was tired and confused. Maybe he will take tomorrow off and just relax. Dealing with everyone was starting to get draining. The human perked up as they came up to the vampire's house. Finn jumped off his companions back before hurrying up to the singer's door, he could hear music playing inside. He knocked quickly on the door, feeling worried about Marshall and wanting to talk to him about what Ice Queen did. Finn didn't have to wait long before the door opened, and he was met with Marshalls annoyed look.
"Oh..." The vampire said as he stared at Finn, he wasn't sure who he was expecting, but it wasn't Finn. "Yes?" The older male asked the human in a sharp tone as he started to play his bass lightly, not wanting to give the human any attention. He can't just blew him off, kick him out of his house, which technically use to be his house, and the come here to what? Maybe Flame Prince shot the human down and he was coming here to beg for another chance.
"Marshall!" Finn said relieved, seeing that he didn't seem injured. "Ice Queen was creeping at my house disguised as you and was being all weird then tried to break things off with us. I followed her back to her castle when I realized it wasn't you and turned out she had Gumball captured and stuff. I beat her up but I wanted to make sure you were okay," The human explained quickly before panting softly as he tried to relax after the long explanation.
Marshall gave the human a surprised look hearing him, "What? Did you rescue Gumball?" he asked worried, hoping the prince was okay. That did explain the sudden change. It was just weird that Simone was behind it.
"Oh yeah yeah of course, he is fine," The human assured the singer as he caught his breath and relaxed. Marshall didn't seem as tense now, which must be because he believed him.
The vampire hummed as he relaxed and set his bass down to talk now, "You said you didn't like me and wanted to be with Flame, then kicked me out with no regards that the sun was still up..." Marshall slowly explained, still feeling hurt about the situation, but it helped to know it was just fake. "Why would Ice Queen try to make us hate each other?" the vampire asked confused. That wasn't something she would normally do. Capture Gumwad, yes, but mess with his life for no reason? Not really, unless she was having an episode, which was something completely different.
Finn just shrugged back, "Jealous? I don't know for sure, she said she did it for Gumball, but then he got mad about her saying that, so I don't know for sure," The human filled him in as Jake slowly walked over to the two now that Marshall didn't seem upset.
Marshall scoffed softly, for Gumball? He could believe that. They break up, then gets pissed when tries to move on! He thought as he sighed and crossed his arms, "Okay...I believe that" he told the human as he kicked at the ground slightly. "I guess I should have realized it wasn't you but I was too mad," The vampire confessed to the blonde.
"You're not mad now are you?" Finn asked the singer worried as he gripped his cold, pale hands. He wanted to make sure things were okay now and he wasn't upset.
The vampire smirked slightly as the human took his hands, before pulling the blonde closer to him."At you? No. I'm relieved." The vampire admitted. He was mad though. He couldnt believe Gumball sent Ice Queen after him! He was ridiculous...
The human smiled up at Marshall hearing him as he was pulled closer to the singers body, "Good..I was scared," Finn confessed before hugging the undead king now that he was close enough to him. He felt much better now that he knew the older boy wasn't pissed at him.
Marshall chuckled softly as he touched the humans back, "Why?" he asked the human amused, was he really so worried I would be mad at him? That was kind cute~
"I was just worried the Ice Queen hurt you or something, or that you wouldn't talk to me," The human admitted as he slowly let the older boy go. Finn sighed softly as he looked up at the singer, "I am glad everything is okay now," he told the dark haired male relieved.
"Ah no she has never hurt me, physically at least," Marshall assured the blonde as he ruffled the boys hat slightly. "We are all good," the vampire told the blonde amused.
"Yeah..do you mind if I stay over a while?" Finn asked the older male as he tilted his head. The human just kind of wanted to stay here a while and relax, maybe watch some movies.
"Sure, welcome to my pit," Marshall teased the boy as he smirked at him, this was a good sign, he knew he already won the boy over. The vampire moved from the entrance to let the pair come in.
"Uh, you sure Finn? You should probably rest a while and I got some plans with Lady tonight," Jake butted in, in a concerned tone.
"I can rest here, if you have plans you can go," Finn told the dog in a bit of a salty tone. He wasn't too happy at Jakes scolding and he could be left alone with Marshall for a few hours. Jake just sighed again; the human was getting tired of him doing that.
"Okay, I will see you later then dude," Jake told his brother before hesitantly heading out as Finn went into the house with Marshall to hang out.
