Tanjuro looked around, "hold on. What about that young man I helped. Did he make it Tanjiro?" he asked. "That's Mr Yukito. I explained the situation inside, and he was worried that seeing another Demon so soon would scare Kyoshi. So he's hiding in the trees. Also, he's immune to sunlight, like you are Father" Tanjiro explained. "Alright, I'll go talk to him. Keep an eye on the children, and that boy please Tanjiro" Tanjuro decided. As he walked towards the forest, the Kamado Patriarch wondered if the new Demon would also not need to eat humans either.
Still, his hunger did rear up when around Marechi blood, even if it wasn't that hard to ignore. He wondered if his hunger would go away once the wound wasn't openly bleeding anymore. As Tanjuro walked into the trees, he wondered what he should say to Mr Yukito. What did you say to someone who you turned into a Demon? He followed the Demonic presence to a thick group of trees. "Excuse me? Mr Yukito? Are you over here?" Tanjuro called. "Wh-who are you?" a shaky voice called from the trees. "My name is Tanjuro Kamado. I'm the one who turned you into a Demon.
I know I asked you, but this might not have been what you were thinking of, when I said that I could save you" Tanjuro looked down, "I'm sorry for that. You're no longer a human. Not physically, but you can still live like one. I'm not affected by sunlight, and I don't feel hungry except from the smell of Marechi blood. If you learn how to shape-shift, you could even live a normal life. At least until the cure for demonization is created. What do you say Mr Yukito?" he asked, holding out his hand.
The new Demon stepped out of the shadows so Tanjuro could see him. He had short formerly black hair, whose tips had become purple, and his eyes had gone from black to gray. "Are you really going to help me?" Yukito asked. "Of course," Tanjuro said kindly, "but for now, can you stay out of sight? You might scare the children" he asked. Yukito nodded, "I can do that" he replied.

Tanjuro walked back to the group, Yukito hiding in the trees, "I'm back" he said. Haruka ran over to him and hugged him. "Hey, it's okay, everything's fine Haruka" Tanjuro said soothingly, stroking the little girl's hair. "We have some work to do everyone" he said, looking back at the mansion, "people died in there, and it's only right to bury them, so they can rest" Tanjuro said. "Right, let's bury them" Tanjiro replied sadly. His Father put a hand on his shoulder, "they should be able to rest properly after that" he agreed.

Tanjuro, Tanjiro, Zenitsu and the children buried the bodies, the four kids placing rocks around the graves. "They'll be able to go in peace now" Tanjiro said, his Mother's box on his back. Tanjuro turned to the three Siblings, "where are you three going? As a matter of fact, where are your parents?" he asked in concern. "Our parents died of illness last year. We make money by selling homemade fabrics we've weaved. It was a family business. That was why we were on the road at night, we were coming back from town. But then that Demon grabbed me." Kyoshi explained.
Tanjuro frowned in worry, "you're all on your own? You don't have any other family to take care of you?" he asked. "No, it's just us" Shoichi replied. Tanjuro looked down, "well, if you want to, you could come with us. I'm sure the Demon Slayer Trainer we live with could figure out something to do to help you. You're a Merechi Kyoshi, it's too dangerous for you to be alone without protection. Worst case, the smell of your blood could cause a Demon to come after you, killing your Siblings in the process. Best case, only you would be eaten. We need to take you somewhere you'll all be safe" Tanjuro said.
Kyoshi, Shoichi and Teruko looked scared. "Okay, if that'll keep my younger Siblings safe, we'll go with you" Kyoshi agreed. Tanjuro smiled and nodded, "alright, let's go" he said. Suddenly Tanjuro and Tanjiro's Crows swooped in, "follow me everyone! Down the mountain! Caw!" one of them cried. The three Demon Slayers and four children started down the mountain. Inosuke was slamming his head into trees. "Hey, Inosuke!" Tanjiro called, catching the boar-headed teen's attention, "what do you want?!" he yelled. "We're heading down the mountain." His Son called.
"What?! But we're not finished our fight!" The teen, now known as Inosuke cried. "You're tired aren't you?" Tanjiro asked, "I'm not tired at all! Let's fight!" Inosuke yelled, following them down the mountain.

The 8 of them walked until the sun was starting to set, and they finally reached a house with a Wisteria Crest on it. "This must be it. One of the Wisteria Houses that Urokodaki told us about" Tanjiro said. Suddenly the door opened and an old lady walked out, "yes?" she asked. Zenitsu shrieked, "a monster!" he cried. "Hey!" Tanjiro cried, as Inosuke stepped forwards, "who're you?!" he demanded, poking the woman's hair, "hey! Be nice!" Tanjiro snapped. "May I assume you are all Demon Slayers?" the old woman asked.
"Yes Ma'am. These children are Civilians who we're taking care of for the moment. We'll be in your care" Tanjuro said with a bow. "Please come this way" the woman said. The group entered the house, and they were given clean clothes and food. "We've never had so much food before!" Shoichi said in awe. "I know what you mean. Our family was relatively poor, so we never had much to eat" Tanjuro explained with a smile as he sat against the wall. The humans ate their dinner together, Tempura. While Tanjuro watched them, wondering if his children and the Shinazugawa's had become friends yet or not.
After dinner, they were given clean sleeping Kimono and the Doctor came to check on them. He changed Kyoshi's bandages, and found that Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke all had broken ribs. "Is my Son going to be alright?" Tanjuro asked worriedly, placing a hand on Tanjiro's shoulder. "He should be fine after a few weeks to heal" the man said. As he left the room, Tanjuro frowned at his Eldest Son, "how did you get broken ribs?" he asked. "It was when Inosuke and I were fighting. We both ended up getting each other" Tanjiro replied. His Father looked upset, "well, get some rest Son, you need to recover, for your Siblings sake" he said.
"I will. Goodnight Father" he said, as they lay down. "Ouch!" Tanjiro hissed in pain. Tanjuro looked worried, before he sighed and stood up. He went into the room next door, where the children had been put. They were all asleep, the four of them exhausted from the day. He smiled gently, glad that they were all safe here. Tanjuro decided to take a walk around the house, since he didn't sleep. Stepping as silently as a cat, the Demon walked through the building, looking out at the moon through the clear glass doors with a serene smile on his face. Suddenly he caught a familiar scent of blood. Tanjuro froze, his eyes wide, before he began running through the halls.

He reached the entrance of the Wisteria House, to find several people dressed in black bringing a prone form into the building as the old lady spoke, "be careful with her, her wound is deep" she said, as she stepped back to allow the people through. As she moved, Tanjuro saw who they were carrying, and he nearly reverted to his Demon form. "Nezuko!" he cried in horror, catching everyone's attention. He hurried forwards, while the old lady tried to stop him, "Sir, this girl is hurt, please step back-" she began, but Tanjuro was too upset to care, "that's my daughter!" he cried, pushing past her.
They stopped trying to stop him, as Tanjuro moved to Nezuko's side, "Nezuko!" he cried, tears in his eyes, "what happened to her?!" he demanded. "She was injured by a Demon in a nearby town. We managed to stop the bleeding temporarily, and brought her here for treatment" one of the black-clad people, a woman by her voice explained. "Can you help her?" he asked worriedly, as the people carrying his daughter moved past him, "our Doctor will do everything he can Sir" the old woman replied. Tanjuro sighed and slumped against the wall once they were gone, his human disguise slipping away from his stress.
"My baby" he whimpered, covering his mouth as the smell of Nezuko's blood filled his nose and mouth. He was barely able to keep himself from being sick.
