Episode 5: Big Bug
Milly, Tamiya and Sissy are having stereotypical gossip girl crap.
Sissy (or Sissi-you know what? Whatever I type her name as, I'll just as is)
Sissy: No boy wants to go out with you Milly!
OMG REYCLCED PLOT FROM EPISODE 1.
These insults are not clever at all. Not unprecedented at all.
Yumi: Hey Jeremy. What are you doing?
Jeremy: I'm rating a bunch of natural disasters on a scale of 1-10.
...Why?
Jeremy says it can be done, to track a future reference and possible infernal attack from Xana.
Satanic attack, I suppose, no? lol
Odd has a pet dog named Kiwi.
We really need a new character integrated into this story.
Xana hijacks into the ethernet of the train station and plans to make, two trains collide with each other.
Xana's not really getting any smarter. Why exactly is he the villain to this story?
Lip synching issues as Odd is speaking.
Okay, so they could synch the sound effect of Odd and Ulrich walking but, not when they are speaking? Ugh.
Female News Reporter: The entire city is gridlocked! We are all doomed! The police are unable to help!
And this is why I don't watch the news in real life.
There was no insight to provide at all, with what she just said.
Xana activates the tower. Well presumably.
Who is activating these towers in Code Lyoko anyway?
Visting Code Lyoko isn't as novel as you think.
They recycle a bunch of the 3D world as nothing but plains, desert and a forest area with what, we all seen of Code Lyoko so far.
Aelita deactivates the tower.
Jeremy does his usual "Return To The Past" buffoonery and that's it. End episode.
Overall: 4.0/10 - Holy crap that was bad. Even worse than the previous episode. The only real plot we got here were seeds being planted between a Ulric/Sissy/Yumi love triangle. Nothing else happened here. Nothing of note of progress of the actual plot to the show and what's the purpose as to why Xana is awful in the first place? Next.
