Back at the chateau, Madison was lying down on her bed for a moment. After the mouse incident and Cinderella had extra chores, Madison somehow secretly used her magic to help with the chores done easily. To her words to Lady Tremaine, she asked her if she could keep a close eye on the maid if she does her work. The stepmother somehow accepted. Thank goodness no one didn't notice the magic but also not knowing that Madison helped the poor maid by her own hands-on certain chores.

But as she was still lying down and Zor was looking at his mistress, Madison somehow felt something. It was strange to her, something she never felt before. It was though as if like someone is here with her. Somewhere at the small kingdom, but don't know why. Zor chirped a little in concern.

"I'm alright, Zor." she said to him as she gently pets him. "Why not we check on Cinderella?"

Madison gently picked Zor up and placed him on her shoulder. As Zor starts hanging on to her, Madison starts picking up the haste and exit the room.

Once she's out of it, Madison was walking past some doors but then stopped as she heard piano playing and singing.

Lady Tremaine: The pear-shaped toad

Drizella: (singing offkey) Oh, sing sweet nightingale

Sing sweet nightingale

High... Above me

Madison and Zor cringed of hearing that voice including the sound of a flute that sounds horrible. Madison quickly covered her ears and walked past the music room.

"Thank goodness that stepmother told me not to interrupt music lessons." she whispered, and the Bearded Dragon nod his head.

Madison finally made it to the stairway but also realized that Lucifer exit the music room as he couldn't handle that noise. The sound of the door was closed and both he, Madison and Zor could hear the racket. But downstairs, they heard a beautiful, soft, voice singing the song. They looked down to see Cinderella scrubbing the floors and singing the song. Madison leaned against the rail and smiled as she and Zor listened.

Cinderella: High... Above...

Oh, sing sweet nightingale

Sing sweet nightingale High...

Oh, sing sweet nightingale

Sing sweet nightingale

Oh, sing sweet nightingale

Sing... sweet...

Oh, sing sweet nightingale Sing...

Oh, sing sweet nightingale

Oh, sing sweet... Oh... Sing...

Madison and Zor had their eyes closed as kept listening to her singing like they were in a trance. She does have a beautiful voice and she does sings like an angel. Suddenly...

"Oh! Oh, Lucifer!" Cinderella shouted.

The two snapped back in reality and looked down at the floor. Madison gasped as she saw Lucifer made a mess. There were paw prints everywhere all over the floor.

'Dumb cat. No wonder he's named after the devil.' Madison thought as she shook her head and Zor growled a little.

"You mean old thing!" said Cinderella as she slammed the rag down to the floor and grabbed her broom, which cause the cat to make a run for it. "I'm just going to have to teach you a lesson."

Suddenly both the girls and Zor heard a loud knock on the door. Which Madison knew exactly who that was and heard a voice.

"Open in the name of the King!" a male's voice shouted.

Madison watched Cinderella open the door and from the distance she could actually see the messenger holding a bag full of envelops, which means...

"An urgent message from His Imperial Majesty." he said as he handed the envelope to the maid.

"Thank you." she spoke to him and closed the door as the messenger walked away.

"From the King!" Jaq spoke as he and Gus appeared to her friend. "What's it say, Cinderelly?"

"Duh... uh... uh... What's it says, huh?" Gus questioned.

"I don't know. He said its urgent." said Cinderella and heard Drizella keep singing awfully, including everyone. "Maybe I should interrupt the... uh... music lesson."

Madison smiled as she softly chuckled but watched Cinderella walked up the stairs to the hall, not noticing that she walked past her. While the mice went off somewhere, Madison and Zor looked around to see if anyone was around. With the snap of her fingers, the cat's paw prints that were on the floor, suddenly disappeared.

"That'll be easy for her." she said, and Zor nods his head.

As Madison starts walking, she and Zor quickly made it to the music room. She didn't go in but decided to listen to the conversation as she heard Lady Tremaine's voice speaking when she was reading the message.

"Well... There's to be a ball."

"A ball!" the stepsisters said in unison as they sounded excited.

"In honor of His Highness, the Prince!"

"Oh, the Prince!"

"And by royal command, every eligible maiden is to attend."

"Why that's us!" Drizella's voice spoke.

"And I'm so eligible!" said Anastasia.

Madison and Zor looked at each other and shook their heads but then listen to the conversation more as they heard Cinderella's voice.

"Why that means I can go too!"

"Ha!" Drizella scoffed. "Her, dancing with the prince!"

"I'd be honored, Your Highness. Would you mind holding my broom?" said Anastasia as she was mocking as Cinderella and then she and Drizella laugh.

"Well, why not?" Cinderella's voice spoke with calm voice. "After all, I'm still a member of the family. And it says, 'By royal command... every eligible maiden is to attend'."

"Yes... So, it does." Lady Tremaine's voice spoke. "Well, I see no reason why you can't go... if you get all your work done."

'And that would also mean more help for her if I can.' Madison thought but also knew she has to get away from the door. Wouldn't want the Tremaines to find her eavesdropping.

She quickly walked away with a calm voice but then heard the door opened and the sound of footsteps.

"Oh, Maddie!" Cinderella spoke as she was walking towards her.

"Ella. What's all the excitement about?" Madison acted.

"The King is throwing a ball for the honor of his son. Every eligible maiden is to attend. Meaning I get to go too, once I get the chores finished."

Madison sadly smiled knowing that the stepfamily is tricking her with more chores and forced her to stay but also not to show Cinderella that sort of expression.

"A ball, huh? Sounds like fun."

"Indeed, and I know exactly what to wear." said Cinderella. "Are you also going to the ball too?"

Madison looked at her for a moment. She didn't think of that before, and she wasn't so sure if she had an invite or not.

"I... I'm afraid I won't be going." she answered.

"Not going? But why?"

"Well... for some reasons. I just arrived here yesterday and second... I don't have anything eligible to wear."

"Hmm..." Cinderella was now in her thoughts until she looked at her new friend. "I'm pretty sure I might have something in my room. Come with me."

Madison quickly followed Cinderella as they came to the room that leads to the attic. There were so many stairs and Madison realized she has to go all the way up. Hopefully, she has enough energy to go up. All the way, up the stairs, the girls and Zor came to a door and Cinderella opened it. Madison and Zor were the first to enter and looked around the room. The two looked around to see a small bed, changing board, a model stand, a chest, and a small vanity.

'Poor Ella. Living in the attic all because of her stepmother. I would say her father did make a poor choice on marrying her.' Madison thought until she notices something behind the chest.

She slowly looked to see what was behind it and saw a mouse. The same mouse with the pink dress. She remembered that Cinderella told her the name of the mouse and then spoke with a soft tone.

"Well, hello again."

The mouse gasped as she looked up to see Madison and Zor and then moved back a few steps.

"Pearla, is it? How's your tail?"

"Oh, it's... it's feeling better." she answered.

Suddenly, Madison and Zor spotted a few mice coming out of their hiding places and they were all staring at them.

"It's all right." Cinderella spoke calmly to them. "She's a friend. Including Zor. They won't hurt you."

The mice looked at each other and then smiled to the new friends until Jaq and Gus finally appeared as they looked excited.

"Cinderelly, are you really going to the ball?" Jaq questioned.

"I am. And I do know exactly what to wear."

Madison moved back a little as Cinderella opened the chest. Searching through some of the clothing, Cinderella pulled brought out an old dress out of the chest and spun around with it. The top was pink, and the skirt was white which Madison knew the familiar dress from the movie.

"Isn't it lovely? It was my mother's." she said as she showed them.

"It's pretty-pretty, but it's old." said Perla as Cinderella put the dress on the model stand.

"Well, maybe it is a little old-fashioned, but... oh, I'll fix that."

"H-H-How you do that, huh?" Gus asked.

"Wait a minute. There ought to be... some good ideas in here."

Cinderella brought a book out of the sewing basket and looked through the pages until she stopped at a certain one with a smile on her face.

"Uh-huh. This one." she said and show the mice the dress page.

"Oh, very nice-nice. Like it! We can do it. It'll be R-easy." the mice awed at the design in the book.

"It's perfect." said Madison as she smiled.

"I'll have to shorten the sleeves... I'll need a sash... a ruffle... and something for a collar. And then I'll..." Just as Cinderella was continuing what she planned on for the dress, she heard one of the stepsisters hollering.

"Cinderella!"

Madison groaned and Zor growled as they heard the stepsisters and Lady Tremaine's voices hollering for Cinderella.

"Oh, now what do they want?" the maid questioned.

"More chores I bet." said Madison.

"Cinderella!"

"Cinderella!" the stepmother's voice hollered.

Cinderella sighed as she got up and then looked at her mother's dress.

"Oh, well, guess my dress will just have to wait."

"Cinderella! Cinderella!" the stepsisters shouted.

"All right, all right! I'm coming." Cinderella replied as she quickly left the room, leaving the mice, Madison, and Zor alone with the dress.

"Poor Ella. They won't give her a break, will they?" Madison spoke and the mice and Zor sadly shook their heads.

Jaq looked at the door and starting to get fed up.

"Poor Cinderelly. Every time she finds a minute, that's the time when they begin it! Cinderelly, Cinderelly..."

"Cinderella!" the stepsisters shouted, and Jaq quickly kicked the door closed as he was now singing.

Jaq: Cinderelly, Cinderelly

Night and day it's Cinderelly

Make the fire, fix the breakfast

Wash the dishes, do the mopping

Female Mice: And the sweeping and the dusting

They always keep her hoppin'

Jaq: She goes around in circles

'TiI she's very, very dizzy

Still, they holler

Female Mice: Keep-a busy, Cinderelly

"Yeah...Keep-a busy." Jaq said with a glum and kicked the thimble.

Gus felt glum too and sat down on the thimble. Zor felt that feeling too but felt his mistress hand as she was petting him with comfort.

"You know what? Cinderelly not go to the ball." said Jaq.

"What?" "Not go?" "What did you say?" the mice spoke as they heard what their friend said.

"Why would you say that Jaq?" Madison questioned him.

"You'll see. They fix her." he said as he along with the others stared at the dress. "Work, work, work. She'll never get her dress done."

"P-p-poor Cinderelly." said Gus.

Without anyone notice, Madison was looking at the female mouse that was close to the book. She sadly stared at the dress and looked back at the book until an expression on the mouse's face started to bright up as she thought of an idea.

"Hey! We can do it!" she said and starts singing.

Female Mouse: We can do it, we can do it

We can help our Cinderelly

We can make the dress so pretty

There's nothing to it, really

Mice: We'll tie a sash around it

Put a ribbon through it

When dancing at the ball

She'll be more beautiful than all

In the loveIy dress we'll make for Cinderelly

Madison smiled at them, even Zor was swishing his tail and moving his head around like he was dancing. Suddenly, the birds came through the window as they heard the idea and decided to help.

Mice: Hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry

Gonna help our Cinderelly

Got no time to dillydally

We got to get a-goin'

Gus: I'll cut it with the scissors

Jaq: And I can do the sewing

Female Mouse: Leave the sewing to the women

You go get some trimmin'

Mice: And we'll make a lovely dress for Cinderelly

We'll make a lovely dress for Cinderelly

Madison watched Jaq and Gus ran off to the hole as they were on a mission to find some items. But then realized where they were heading to and looked at Zor.

"Zor, I have a mission for you. I need you to go down to the second floor and find the room where Lucifer is. That's where Jaq and Gus will be at. Keep an eye out for them and if they are in trouble, help them." she said and then whispers, "Not too hot on the cat. Don't want Ella to get into more trouble.

Zor nods his head and quickly scurried off as he exits the room. Once he was gone, Madison looked at the mice as they were about to work on the dress.

"I should be going too." she said to them. "The Tremaines might questioned me to know where I was."

"There is another exit that is way down to the bottom. It leads you to the kitchen." Pearla spoke to her. "As I remember, they are always upstairs, but they'll be too busy getting ready for the ball."

"Thank you, Pearla." she said to her and starts leaving the room as she starts going down the stairs. Hoping that Zor gets to the room in time and also tries not to get caught or get into trouble for Cinderella.
