Trap By the Spider Attacker
"So, where do you think we should look next?" Bete asked in a bored attitude.
"I don't know, the attacker would be hiding anywhere in the school, and this could take an entire day of searching or maybe two days." Bell concerned about more students getting hurt the more they search.
"Damn, that's gonna make me hungry." Bete said as he is about to walk away.
"Wait, where are you going?" Bell asked.
"Getting myself a snack, there's no way I'm going to do a long search if I don't keep my energy full." Bete proclaimed, and as a way of getting himself out of work.
"Here." Uruchi held out a stack of three sandwiches.
"Maybe this will keep you from walking away from your duty." Uruchi glared slightly at Bete.
"Well, what do you know, our little senior here got herself some big snacks." Bete commented with a grin.
"Are you sure it's okay? It looks like you were saving those sandwiches for a later occasion." Bell asked, hoping they aren't taking too many from Uruchi.
"It's fine, I can always make more back in my dorm room. Just take the sandwiches and finish them soon so we can get back to our investigation." Uruchi shoved the sandwiches onto Bell and turns around to her own thinking time.
"Well, if she insists then don't mind if I do." Bete smirked as he takes one sandwich.
However, while Uruchi is trying to think about the investigation and where to go from here, her mind went off somewhere else in the past about a few years ago when she first met Haruko in elementary school.
(Flashback)
"Oh no, are you alright?" Younger Haruko asked, worried for the younger Uruchi who is down, and her sandwiches were dropped on the floor by bullies.
"Your sandwich is totally ruined, isn't it?" Haruko asked, looking at the sandwiches.
"You know, I actually made too much for lunch today. I don't mind sharing it with you, if you'd like some." Haruko offered to eat lunch with Uruchi.
Younger Uruchi is shocked to see that this girl one year older in school year than her is being so nice to a little girl like her, and that made her feel to admire Haruko as she jumps to hug Haruko.
"(At first, it was just basic admiration. But she's so strong and so sweet.)" Uruchi thought remembered those feelings.
The scene changes to Uruchi and Haruko being together like with the former defending the girl from bullies and them running together for school while sharing smiles at each other.
"(The more time I spent with her, the more I found myself looking up to her.)" Uruchi thought felt happy back then too.
Now Uruchi is shown to be standing in the Maken-Ki office with Haruko, Furan, and Yuuka as the first-year girl is ready to become a member.
"This job is not going to be an easy one. Are you sure you can manage it?" Haruko asked Uruchi, hoping she's up to the task.
"I am! I will do my best!" Uruchi determined to make Haruko proud.
Haruko smiles from the answer and gave her a thumbs up, wishing her luck in becoming a new member of Maken-Ki working together in the school.
(Flashback End)
"Well, those sandwiches were good eating, but now my mouth feels a bit dry." Bete exclaimed a bit.
"Maybe you should go drink some water, it would be bad if you leave your throat dry like that." Bell advised.
"Whatever, I was going to do that anyway." Bete said as he walks away.
"So, have you thought of any other ideas on finding the culprit, Minaya?" Bell asked.
"Huh, no, not yet. But we better think of something fast or else these attacks are just going to keep happening." Uruchi stated, trying to keep her cool.
"I'm sure we'll find something." Bell believed with a kind and confident smile.
"(Why does he… remind me of Haruko so much?)" Uruchi thought asked herself when seeing Bell and Haruko at the same time.
(With Bete)
Bete is drinking some water from the water fountain/sink pipes to wash away the dry feeling from his throat and started to feel clear to speak away, letting out a soft howl as well.
"Refreshing, my throat was almost sore." Bete joked.
"Guess I should be heading back with the others…" Bete said as he was about to walk back but didn't move.
"Damn it, still can't believe I let Furan talk into joining the Security Committee, Maken-Ki, or whatever the fuck they're calling themselves. I am not some lapdog for them to boss around." Bete angered with a tightened fist.
Then Bete heard footsteps coming towards him, he turns his head to meet the eyes of one beautiful girl looking straight at him.
"Did you say the Security Committee? Because if you're a member, I'd like to talk to you for a minute." The girl said.
"Whatever you want, better make it quick, I'm on a case with some others." Bete said, trying to brush her off, but she isn't fazed.
"Does this case have anything to do with the strange battles that's been going on around the school, by any chance?" The girl asked with a grin, that certainly got Bete's attention.
"You seem to be sharp, who the hell are you?" Bete asked.
"You can call me Kumi Amio, handsome." Kumi revealed her name with a compliment to Bete.
Kumi is a very attractive girl of medium height with semi-long maroon hair that reaches the back of her neck with a few hair strands hanging over her face and red eyes. She wears the standard Tenbi Academy uniform although, in her case, her distinctive feature is long, dark stockings with embroidered purples, which give a more sensual touch to her appearance. Breasts size: F-cup.
"I can tell you're looking for the attack responsible for those unofficial battles, which is why I'm here." Kumi said, walking closer to Bete.
"You know something, don't you?" Bete asked.
"Funny story, I know who did it." Kumi chuckled with both hands on his shoulders.
"Really now? And you're just going to tell me who the culprit is like that, or maybe there is something I need to do in order to get that information?" Bete asked with a grin.
"Well, I could tell you only if you give me your name." Kumi demanded with a sweet and sexy smile.
"Bete Loga, hope you don't forget the name… when I kick your ass!" Bete instantly threw a knee kick in the stomach sending Kumi back.
"You bastard!" Kumi growled.
"There's more where that came from!" Bete smirked as he was about to charge at Kumi.
"I don't think so, Bete Loga." Kumi reacted fast enough to make her move.
"Maken Zone: Nephila!" Kumi summoned her Maken which is a powerful yo-yo, and element coming out from her feet forming into spiderwebs.
Then Bete suddenly finds himself stop in his tracks and unable to move his legs like they are stuck on something super sticky and strong.
"What the fuck? I can't move my legs!" Bete struggled to move his legs for even an inch.
"This is your doing, some kind of paralyzing Maken!" Bete guessed with a growl.
"That's right, wolf boy. And you should also know that the more you struggle to move, the less you'll be able to move." Kumi informed.
"Now, why don't you call your friends in the Security Committee and tell them to come here. I can wait." Kumi demanded with a sexy grin.
"I see, so you were only attacking just to get Maken-Ki's attention." Bete chuckled.
"Well, you must think it's your lucky day with two more already showing up." Bete smirked.
Kumi became confused about that and suddenly a small sharp blade made of element flew past her face and cut off a few strands of her hair. This shocks Kumi as she turns around to see Bell and Uruchu.
"I couldn't care less about your Maken. The only thing I'm interested in is finding out if you're the one behind the attacks." Uruchi glared at Kumi.
"Please surrender and come with us quietly, if you don't then we'll have no choice but to use force on you." Bell pleaded as he hold out his hand to Kumi.
"And end the fun? I don't think so." Kumi refused to stand down.
"Alright, don't say we didn't warn you." Uruchi said, getting ready to use her Maken again.
"Maken Sword: Perseus!" Uruchi fired the blades of elements from the Maken strapped onto her right forearm right at Kumi.
Kumi gasps with her eyes widen and starts moving around fast to dodge those three Element daggers, jumping around and moving fast as she could to avoid being hit by those Element attacks because she knows that she's finish if that happens.
However, she is finding this difficult to dodge when Uruchi is controlling them with her fingers making the Element daggers move according to her.
"You might as well give up now." Uruchi said with a confident smile.
"As long as I still have my Element, those daggers of light will just keep hunting you down." Uruchi explained, believing no evil nor troublemaking punks would be able to escape her.
"Wow, that's amazing! You already have her on the ropes!" Bell impressed with Uruchi's skills.
"(I can see why she's one of the enforcers of Maken-Ki, but even when the pipsqueak has the advantage, Kumi is still going to try that paralyzing move.)" Bete thought hoped that Uruchi doesn't get caught in her web.
"(Hold on, I feel like there's more to her trap.)" Bete thought started to think back on earlier when Kumi asked for his name.
"(Before she activated her Maken, she asked me for my name specifically.)" Bete thought wondered why is that so important.
"What are you doing, Bete!" Uruchi called out, getting Bete's attention.
"If you don't start taking your job seriously, it's going to look like we don't know what we're doing. You need to get it together!" Uruchi scolded.
"Shut up! I'm only standing like this because this bitch trap me with her Maken, and I can't move my legs!" Bete yelled in rage.
"So, her Maken is a paralyzing type. We should be very careful with this one, Uruchi." Bell advised, getting himself ready just in case.
"Hey! I told you not to call me by my first name, you white rabbit idiot!" Uruchi yelled with her cheeks blushing a bit.
"(Wait, Bell just said her first name and now Uruchi is going to…!)" Bete thought shocked of realization that something is about to happen.
"Hey, wait, don't say your last name out loud!" Bete tried to warn them, but Uruchi didn't listen.
"You can either call me Miss Minya or Minya-Senpai, you got that, rookie?" Uruchi glared at Bell.
"Oh, thank you so much for the name… Miss Uruchi Minya!" Kumi smirked and her Element web spread right toward Urchi trapping her feet onto the ground.
"What the fuck… I can't move, what did that bitch do to me?!" Uruchi shocked.
"Of course not, you stepped into my web." Kumu grinned evilly.
"She trapped you the same she did to me by saying my name out loud! I tried to warn you, but you didn't listen, idiot!" Bete shouted angrily at Uruchi.
"Hey! Don't you dare call me an idiot when you're the idiot who fell for her web first!" Uruchi encountered, making Bete angry knowing that she's right.
"And now there is only one left." Kumi glanced at Bell with an evil smirk.
"Let them go now, or else you're going to regret it." Bell demanded.
"No way, I need to see just how strong the elite fighters of Tenbi Academy are and I'm going to get that even if I have to tear this school apart." Kumi threw her yo-yo Maken at Bell.
Bell quickly moves fast by a kick to knock the yo-yo Maken away and jumps up to a wall.
"It looks like you leave me no choice but to fight." Bell said, now about to get serious.
"Maken Small Blade: Crimson Rabbit!" Bell summoned his knife Maken.
"Nice knife, but you cut a lot of things with a swing!" Kumi commented as she swung her Nephila at Bell.
Bell jumps out of the way to let it hit the wall making a small crater and swing her Maken to go after the white hair boy, but he quickly turns around and smack it away with a slash of his knife though Kumi isn't giving up as she swings fiercely at Bell who is able to parry each attack except one managed to graze his right cheek.
"Come on, surely you can do better than that!" Kumi laughed.
"If you want my best, then you're about to get it!" Bell said before he parry the yo-yo again and charges at Kumi.
"Yeah, go B"
"Don't shout his name, squirt!" Bete shouted at Uruchi to stop her.
"Remember, she traps people by saying their full names out loud. If you give Kumi the knowledge of his name, then he's done for." Bete stated.
"Right now, all we can do is just trust the rabbit bastard to fight this bitch." Bete pointed out as he watches on.
"Yeah, I guess you're right." Uruchi agreed, leaving everything up to Bell now.
(Security Committee Office)
"You haven't heard a word from them since?" Haruko asked, feeling worried when Furan and Yuuka informed her about Uruchi's team.
"We've heard nothing." Furan said.
"I told them to check in too, so we're not sure what' going on yet. I keep calling, but no one kicks up." Yuuka concerned for those three.
"At this point, I'm getting worried. What if something bad has happened to them?" Furan asked worry.
"Oh, I hope they're okay." Yuuka said.
But then Haruko decided to go find them herself to make sure they're okay, ignoring Yuuka calling out to her.
"(Bell, Uruchi, I hope you two and Bete are okay.)" Haruko thought prayed they're alright by the time she finds them.
"Is there something wrong, Haruko?" Ais asked as she and Lefiya enter the scene of the hallway Haruko ran in.
(Bell vs Kumi)
"Damn it… Would you hold still already!" Kumi angered as she attacks Bell again.
Bell blocks most of her strikes and dodges a few of them, then he goes in blazing speed to slash Kumi on the left side of her torso and shoulder.
"Fuck! I can't land a single hit on him!" Kumi angered.
"He's doing great! He just needs to knock her down and this stupid web of hers will be gone." Uruchi smiled.
"Tell me, you said you wanted to see how strong Maken-Ki is, why exactly do you want to test their strength?" Bell asked.
"You could say I've been very curious than a cat, I heard so many stories and rumors about Maken-Ki's strength that I could barely contain myself when it comes to power and those with greater power." Kumi chuckled.
"I only wish to see that kind of strength with my eyes, I don't really care about winning though that would be a nice bonus." Kumi stated.
"Man, this chick is crazy… And I find her very likable." Bete grinned.
"Are you for real?!" Uruchi gasped.
"Alright, I think I understand you, and just one more question… Can anyone cut a normal spiderweb with just a knife?" Bell asked which surprised Kumi that this guy would even ask such a question.
"Well, I guess you can but even ask that?" Kumi asked back.
"Just wanted to be sure like cutting an Element of web with my Maken." Bell smiled, then perform a few strong and swift slashes at the ground also cutting through Kumi's web that help free his two friends.
"No! You actually cut my web?!" Kumi gasped.
"Bete, would you like to do the honor?" Bell asked.
"Sure, I don't mind stealing a pray!" Bete smirked charged at Kumi.
"Maken Fang: Wolf Kicker!" Bete summoned his Maken as they are a pair of metal boots with the feet part being wolf heads and sharp tail blades on the back.
"Time for you to take a nap!" Bete smirked at the shocked Kumi then threw down a kick on her head into the ground so hard making her go unconscious.
"Wasn't that overkill?" Bell asked.
"Nah, she's still alive." Bete shrugged.
"I believe that is mission accomplished, right, Minaya?" Bell asked at the surprised Uruchi.
"Yeah, I think you're right." Uruchi nodded, smiling at Bell.

The culprit of those random attacks has been revealed and Bell was able to fight her off with his power and decided to let Bete knock her out with one kick, and it looks like Uruchi may start to soften up for Bell. And Bete may have found himself a girl to like, despite being trapped in her web.
