I binge watch through the entire series of Code Lyoko. Aside from seeing 1-2 episodes, I'm going in completely blind to this series. It's a show, I would never see anyone say anything good or bad about at all. I'm confused to as to whether or not, it's an anime or a cartoon. Cartoon Network never even aired the finale back in 2007. A smorgasbord of a project. Let's do this.

24. Episode 23: Rock Bottom

Episode 23 - Rock Bottom

3 day weekened. Yumi invites the boys over to her house.

Where her parents will go, I have no idea.

A whole lot of nothing for the next five minutes.

Odd is interested in the school's disc jockey to bring over to the party, Samantha.

Likely will only be a one and done character. Sigh.

Odd shares a lip-lock with Samantha.

Whoa. That came literally out of nowhere.

Samantha: Are you ready for a big thrill session?

Ooooh.

Samantha breaks into the computer lab and attempts to steal a laptop, for help with making ideal music for the party. Where are the parents at-never mind.

Odd gets in trouble and Jeremy and Ulrich leave Odd unattended.

Talk about leaving Odd out to dry.

You nincompoops. Some friends. No seriously, why weren't they with Odd?

This Samantha girl is really irksome.

Yumi heads to Code Lyoko to fend off the monsters, protecting Aelita.

Aelita created a rock shield, out of nowhere to protect herself.

Well at least, she's getting better or used to whatever "powers" she has.

Ulrich and Odd eventually show up in Lyoko.

Meanwhile Xana attacks the school with a mudslide.

The boys fend off the monsters.

Aelita deactivates the tower.

Return To The Past Now.

Credits play 15 seconds later.

Wait so...what about that party set-up from earlier?

This episode sucked. Just a jambalaya of nothing. I doubt we'll ever see this Samantha girl again.

Overall Rating: 3.8/10 - Aside from the lip lock between Odd and Samantha, you can safely skip this wretched episode. Only three episodes left before the season 1 finale (the season concludes at Episode 26) and I certainly don't want the first season to end on a lackluster note.
