The Looney Tunes. A very popular cartoon series from the 1930s. A collection of cartoon shorts with a host of colourful, quirky, and often witty characters. And the headliner act, Bugs Bunny.

The aforementioned Bunny is lounging about in the woods, resting carefree on a hammock between two trees while chewing on a carrot.

While living their best life, they feel a sudden harsh breeze come in. Not even opening their eyes, they call out, "Another one, eh?"

A duelist steps out of the shadows and approaches the lazy bunny. Dressed in navy and black, they wear an open jacket that flows behind them as they walk. Their spiked hair moves with the breeze like a thick layer of grass.

"Bugs Bunny?" He calls out, keeping a stern expression on his face. His eyes narrowed and strong as he gazes at the cartoon.

Bugs stretches before climbing out of the hammock, "What's up, doc? They send someone else to collect me?" The stranger is quiet, not answering besides readying their duel disk. "Okay, keep your hair on. What's this one's name?"

The stranger answers, "Scroll. My allies informed me of how difficult it has been to collect you. I won't allow another one of my comrades to fall."

"Eh, we'll see about that, bub." Bugs pulls out a duel disk of his arm and readies his deck. "Let's do this pal. I ain't go all day. I have a meeting with some film execs for Space Jam 3."

The players start the duel. Drawing their hands, Scroll takes the starting turn.

"Draw. I normal summon Armageddon Knight in attack mode." [Lv 4 Dark Warrior ATK 1400] "When summoned, Armageddon Knight's effect activates. I can send a Dark monster from my deck to the grave. I'll send The Immortal Bushi from my deck to the graveyard." Scroll has a determined look in his eye, he has his strategy in mind. "I'll set one face-down, then activate the spell card, Card of Safe Return. While this card is face-up, when a monster is summoned from the grave, I can draw a card. With that, I end my turn."

Bugs just smiles. He's cocky. "Eh, not too impressive. I think the last guy put up more of a fight." His words strike a chord with Scroll, but he keeps his cool. "I draw. I activate the spell card, Tribute to the Doom. I discard one card from my hand to destroy your Knight."

A mummy appears on the field. Stretching their hands out, they ensure Armageddon Knight in bandages. The tight grip destroys the monster in one go.

"Now that I have a monster in the graveyard, I can use this, Premature Burial. By paying exactly 800 life points to special summon a monster from the graveyard. I revive Rabidragon!" [Lv 8 Light Dragon ATK 2950]

[Bugs Bunny 3200LP]

"Now with no monsters left on your side of the field, I attack you directly!" Bugs's dragon inhales a strong breath before unleashing a hot fire on Scroll directly. He takes the hit, sending his life points to almost nothing.

[Scroll 1050LP]

"Is that…all you've got in you?" Scroll dusts himself off, despite the attack clearly hurting.

"I've got plenty. I end my turn with one card face-down. Now it's back to you."

Scroll draws from his deck. His graveyard glows. "Bushi's effect activates. While I only have warriors in the graveyard and control no monsters, I can special summon him from the graveyard." [Lv 3 Dark Warrior ATK 1200] Scroll's spell card glows next. "Because I revived a monster, I can draw." With five cards in hand, he moves on to the next move.

"I tribute Immortal Bushi to advance summon, Silent Swordsman LV5." [LV 5 Light Warrior ATK 2300] "And that's not all! I activate my trap, Rising Energy. I discard one card from my hand, I can raise my Swordsman's attack points by 1500."

[Swordsman 3800 ATK]

"Battle! I attack Rabidragon!" Scroll's monster charges for Bugs's dragon. Dodging its fire breath, they leap above, and slice them in half, destroying it.

[Bugs Bunny 2350LP]

"Nice try, doc! I activate a trap of my own! Rope of Life! By discarding my entire hand to bring my dragon back from the graveyard, and then increase its attack by 800." Bugs's dragon returns to the field. It grows in size as it gains more power.

[Rabidragon 3750 ATK]

"I'll play this card face down, and end my turn. During the end phase, Silent Swordsman's attack returns to its original."

"My turn, draw!" Bugs draws their top card. While they no longer have any cards left, they smile anyway, having game right in their sights. "Battle! Rabidragon, take out this loser and his Swordsman!" Bugs calls his attack. Rabidragon unleashes another red-hot fire upon Silent Swordsman.

A smoke cloud appears on the battlefield as the monster is destroyed. Bugs starts laughing before the smoke clears.

"So, what does that bring my score up to now? 5…6…" Bugs loses his train of thought when the smoke clears up, revealing a still-standing Scroll.

"What! How do you still have life points? And so many of them too?"

"Magicial Javelin. It increased my life points by your monster's attack before I took damage." Scroll survived the attack. While they no longer control any monsters, they make it out with everything they need to win.

Bugs doesn't have any other cards to play, so the turn passes over to Scroll.

"Draw. During the standby phase, I revive Immortal Bushi again!" Scroll revives his samurai. "With Card of Safe Return, I draw. Then I activate Monster Reborn to revive Silent Swordsman, again, I can draw with Safe Return." With barely any effort, Scroll fills his hand and field with his fallen monsters, slowly drawing to the card he wants.

"I tribute Bushi and Silent Swordsman from the field to advance summon, Buster Blader in attack mode." [LV 7 Earth Warrior ATK 2600] Scroll calls for the dragon-slaying swordsman of legend. "Buster Blade gains 500 attack for every dragon you control. While you're known for playing beast and plant monsters, I know because of your character, you'd play the strongest rabbit there is, a dragon!"

[Buster Blader 3100 ATK]

"Eh, it ain't nothing. You can't beat my Rabidragon with so little attack points, so what's the point?"

"You need to check your math. You'll see your dragon is nothing compared to my warrior. Especially after this…I equip Rabidragon with Darkworld Shackles!" A large demonic ball and chain appear around the dragon. The weight pulls it down, slamming it into the ground. "Shackle reduces the equipped monster's attack to exactly 100. Meaning your monster is far weaker than mine."

Bugs starts to sweat. His ace monster has become weaker than a Petit Moth. With nothing on the field to counter the attack or defend himself, he is a goner.

"Buster Blader! Avenge our fallen comrades!" Calling the attack, Scroll's ace monster slashes down the beast, turning it to nothing.

[Bugs 0LP]

Bugs drops to their knees in defeat, dropping their carrot as they fall. Before they could even begin to plead for their life. Scroll pulls out a blank card from his jacket. With a strong gale, Bugs is sucked into the card, making it his prison.

"That was for those that fell by your hands Rabbit. I hope no more will fall from this day on." Scroll pockets the card, and walks away, leaving the world of toons completely.
