I binge watch through the entire series of Code Lyoko. Aside from seeing 1-2 episodes, I'm going in completely blind to this series. It's a show, I would never see anyone say anything good or bad about at all. I'm confused to as to whether or not, it's an anime or a cartoon. Cartoon Network never even aired the finale back in 2007. A smorgasbord of a project. Let's do this.

39. Episode 36: Marabounta

Episode 36 - Marabounta

"Marabounta" - We get some very generic episode titles, early on and now we get...whatever Marabounta is.

Everyone is studying ants in science class.

Jeremy is intrigued by the ants. Why?

Yumi and William (remember him) take part in a swimming lesson.

Ulrich gets jealous, goes off the diving board and nearly drowns in the pool, and it ends up being William the one to save him first - not Yumi or Sissy.

A mudslide - a literally mudslide chases after Odd and Aelita in Lyoko.

Everyone else is still at the pool.

More Yumi and Ulrich bickering over petty differences.

For whatever reason, Xana's monsters are protecting Aelita and Odd - and they work together to take out the mudslide monster.

Reason, being obviously Xana wants Aelita alive - still - in some shape way or form.

Jeremy pinpoints a weak spot of the mudslide monster.

Odd delivers the finishing blow and the monster (well mess, really) is destroyed.

Xana's monsters applaud and walk off from our heroes with no other harm being done.

No Return To The Past. Back to Earth. Everything's fine again. End episode.

Overall Rating - 4.5/10 - Well...that was largely boring. The epitome of filler. Nothing of sinfiicant value or interest happened here.
