Short but it loops into the story well.

Rushing through the trees, towards Sasuke's location, Hinata felt something in the air. Summoning chakra into her eyes, she saw a chakra field in front of her. Stalling everyone with a handsignal, she frowned. "A barrier trap, Mika you're better at handling this."

Grabbing his senbon, Mika tossed it with a rush of chakra into the closest seal and it fizzled out. "There, that's better."

Neji smirked. "How'd you do that?"

"Chakra spike disabled the energy matrix." With that, they hurried onward, for another two miles.

Kiba called out suddenly. "I smell a fight, so does Akamaru." Kiba explained what his dog smelled, that there was a drastic fight with blood and ninja rushing off. "I can't smell Sasuke, but I can smell exhaustion and a lot of blood."

Mika frowned. "We leave it be, the Four are likely the the guards for Sasuke. I am more worried about them, about our mission. Do you smell me medical chakra?"

Kiba nodded. "I almost missed it, but yes, I do."

"Then we can do nothing more. Rush on wards, eyes and noses sharp. Keep an eye out for traps, all of you. If they know we are pursuing, or even suspect it, they will trap things. Hinata and are well trained in detecting traps, but we all must be careful."

And with that, they rushed into the distance, stopping only to avoid traps... and it was after another three hours that they stopped, reaching a clearing where Hinata saw the four ninja guarding Sasuke.

Quickly describing them, Hinata turned to Mika. " Their chakra, it's like Sasuke's they have Curse Marks. They are covered in cuts and bruises, they were definitely in a fight. What do you want to do?"

"We need to be careful... we are not outnumbered, but we might be outgunned. Orochimaru would not send weaklings, even if they were in fight, no one will underestimate them... Split up, attack swiftly. Neji, you are in charge of Naruto. Naruto do not act a fool."

Hinata nodded. "Kiba, you work with Tenten, her range will be of huge help with you. Mika and I can act alone, we are stronger than the rest of you."

They might have said more, but an kunai riddled with explosive tag shot at them at great speeds, which Mika countered with his own Kunai pinning it to a closer tree forcing all the guards to rush away from the explosion.

Immediately, Mika was there, as was she, killing one red haired girl and a massive orange haired guy. Mika with a swipe of his blade, Hinata with a Gentle poke of her fingertips right into his heart.

"Tayuya, Jirobo!" One called out, a gray haired boy with green lipstick. "We are going to kill you!"

Hinata rolled her eyes. "Doubtful." Amazed inside at how different she was from how she used to be. "Mika, wanna show them why we were promoted?"

Laughing, Mika nodded,... and as they moved, blade and fist ready, a man dropped down, bone extending from his palms, blocking their attacks.

"Trash like you will not prevent Lord Orochimaru from achieving his ambitions." And as he breathed out, terrible, spiraling, vicious chakra exuded from his body in powerful waves, making it very clear that they were in for a terrible fight. The man threw his arms out, an a wave of white fog slammed into the newest ANBU members, sending them back. "Kidomaru, Sakon, Ukon, handle the others, I will handle these two. Lord Orochimaru wants me to deal with them personally."

And that was rather terrifying if nothing else was.
