I binge watch through the entire series of Code Lyoko. Aside from seeing 1-2 episodes, I'm going in completely blind to this series. It's a show, I would never see anyone say anything good or bad about at all. I'm confused to as to whether or not, it's an anime or a cartoon. Cartoon Network never even aired the finale back in 2007. A smorgasbord of a project. Let's do this.

58. Prequel: Xana Awakens (Part 2)

XANA Awakens (Part 2)

Odd, Ulrich and Sissy are in the cafeteria.

Odd sports his new hairdo - and keeps it as such - because that's how it looked like when, he went to Lyoko for the first time.

Odd is a pig in the cafeteria. Gross. Deduct a whole point for having us, see that alone.

Sissy is overhearing the conversation and wants to go to Lyoko (!)

I-wha-wai-the...okay.

Ulrich goes to the gym - and there he meets up with Yumi for the first time.

Sissy ditches the group for cheerleading practice and Jim, the gym teacher kicks her off the team.

Nicholas and Herb feel pitty for Sissy and want to try to hang out with her.

Xana attacks Sissy in her room and she passes out.

Jeremy and Odd are in the library.

Jeremy shows Odd that he made a program called "Return To The Past Now"

Ulrich and Yumi are still shown in the gym together, and blush at one another.

The Principal: WHAT HAPPENED TO MY DAUGHTER!?

Nicholas: She was attacked by this...electricity monster!

The Principal: CAN YOU TRY TO BE SERIOUS!?

Aelita...err Maya...runs around on Lyoko not sure, where to go for safety.

Jeremy, Odd and Ulrich make a run for the hideout.

Yumi follows them.

Sissy: DAD! YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE ME! JEREMY AND HIS FRIENDS ARE IN TROUBLE! WE HAVE TO GO TO THE SEWER!

Odd, Ulrich and Yumi head to Lyoko.

Ulrich and Yumi perform a sick double team move, to take down the crab monsters.

Maya heads into the tower to deactivate.

She sees the name "Aelita" come up on the screen.

She deactivates the tower.

Sissy heads to the hideout and is immediately jealous of Yumi.

Sissy: ULRICH! WHO IS THIS CHINESE GIRL!?

Yumi: I'M JAPANESE!

Oh lord.

Return To The Past Now.

The group seems to have retained their memories from the program. Which I like.

Maya now addresses herself as Aelita. Apparently, she couldn't remember her name.

And that's how the group formed, became tight friends and that's how the episode ends.

Overall Rating - 6.5/10 - Well, then. Everything that I had a problem with the first part to this prequel, was thankfully patched up. What The Return To The Past Now was, why Sissy left the group, because she was envious of Yumi, Aelita now calling herself by her actual name instead of Maya, etc. Alright episode.
