Captain Frank Jamison Jr. came from a long line of officers dating all the way back to the Spanish-American War. This was the motivation behind every action he took. From his view his very blood was the foundation of America. So when he was told that a potential spy was captured just outside of the base, he insisted that he would be the one to interrogate them. Upon walking into the interrogation room he came face to face with the potential spy who was still unconscious. The woman was sitting in a chair handcuffed to a metal table. Jamison splashed a bucket of water in her face to wake her up.

"Pithhh." She spits out water.

"Hello, welcome to Camp Navaro. You may call me Captain Jamison. We can do this the easy way where you tell me what I want to know. Or we can do this the hard way and I can make sure that's not the last bucket of water that your face has seen. Your choice." The Captain then puts another bucket of water on that table with a wet rag next to it.

The girl gives him an expressionless look more along the lines of 'is this guy serious' than actually thinking over her choices before relenting. "My name's V and I am just a Merc who was employed to figure out what was going on here and report the information back to my Fixer."

"What's a 'Fixer' and what's their name?" He asked more inquisitively.

"You know an Information Broker, someone who buys and sells information. They are also a middleman between people who want a job done and us Mercs. Also why should I sell out my fixer? I have a Reputation to keep."

"My higher ups may have a use for people like her. Also I could secure your release on the condition you sign on with us."

"What do you mean by 'sign on'?" V asked unsure what the Officer meant by that.

"My higher ups will be interested in getting their hands on an operative who knows their way around Night City."

"What's in it for me?"

"You can point out who's worth keeping around once we overthrow the Corps and who needs to be purged."

She thinks for a moment and then speaks. "I have an issue that's actively eating my brain. Do you have anyone who could help me with this?"

"I am sure our FEV researchers could figure something out…. If you agree to sign on."

"Let's do it then."
