Obi-Wan was not a worrisome man. He could not afford to be. But when the Tantive IV never returned and word of Leia never reached him he had his suspicions of what must have happened. He worried. There were only so many possibilities Leia faced. Obi-Wan knew she was perfectly capable of getting out of jams on her own. So if she was okay they would have heard from her by now. Something terrible had befallen his padawan.
The old Jedi had returned to Alderaan. Tensions were running high between Bail Organa and the rest of the Imperial senate. Obi-Wan thought it best to stay close while Leia had been gone. He did not speak of Leia's disappearance to her father. Bail was a soft and illogical being when it came to those closest to him. That weak willed logic had served in their favor only once, when Bail had begged Obi-Wan to leave Luke alone and rescue little Leia. Allowing Obi-Wan to realize the better of the twins and change his plans.
It was only a few days since Leia's disappearance that an idea came to Obi-Wan. Or rather a person. He had not felt this particular presence in many years. It was far stronger than Obi-Wan remembered it. But it was the boy's presence Obi-Wan felt in the city of Alderaan.
"We finally meet." Obi-Wan said softly, to no one in particular as he left his quarters to fetch a friend.

"Aren't you supposed to be all..." Solo paused, glancing at his passenger. The previously threatening Sith Prince was leaning over Chewbacca's shoulder, eyes practically bugging out of his skull as the Falcon soared over Alderaan and towards the capital city Aldera. The kid was not paying any attention to Solo. "Never mind." Solo said with an amused shake of his head.
They were soon assigned a docking bay. Solo couldn't land the ship fast enough it seemed. Luke left the cockpit to wait at the ramp until the ship was settled. Then they were off. Solo would have chalked the hurry up to the prince being on a tight schedule. But the way Luke's head swiveled no matter how hard he tried to appear suave and scum like gave it all way. Alderaan impressed the prince.
Chewbacca muttered beside Solo, who chuckled. "Alderaan is definitely prettier than Coruscant." Luke had stopped to admire a line of trees. The prince still tried to pretend like he was simply deciding where to turn.
"You good, kid?" Solo asked.
Luke glanced at him and shrugged. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine." Luke crossed his arms and turned his head. "I need to go to their senate building."
"What for?" Solo asked. Luke had not spoken much about his mission outside of Solo and Chewbacca being subtle transportation.
"Senator Bail Organa is a very open man." Luke explained. "He accepts visits from his citizens. I made an appointment the moment I was assigned."
Solo crossed his arms. "Imps spying on Imps huh?"
Luke shrugged. "Better than sitting at a desk." The kid waved out at a taxi. The trio piled in and Luke gave the driver their destination.
The whole ride Luke stared out the window. Eyes all big and, dare Solo say it, childlike. But the look was gone instantly when they reached the senate building. Luke straightened his jacket and led the way inside.
It was quiet. Which Solo found odd. The lobby had the receptionist and a few guardsmen but nothing else. Luke asked the lady where he might meet Organa and was promptly given clear directions. Luke thanked her and led the way again to a lift.
"It's quiet." Solo could not keep his mouth shut about it as they exited the lift and entered a dimly lit and empty corridor.
"You read my mind." Luke muttered. He looked around a moment before fixing Solo and Chewbacca with a hard expression. "Be ready, this is very likely a trap."
"Well then maybe we oughtta get out of here?" Solo pressed.
Luke rolled his eyes. "Fifty thousand."
"Fifty-five." Solo countered.
"Done." Luke turned and began down the corridor.
Solo shared a look with Chewbacca. "Should've pushed sixty-five."
Several door numbers down Luke found the number the receptionist had give him. Luke glanced at Solo and Chewbacca, both had their hands near their respective blasters. Luke lifted three fingers, counted down and then slowly opened the door. Nothing happened. They filed into the office without a scratch. It was a large office, oval shaped and white with lots of natural light coming from a huge window and balcony. Sat down at a large desk was Senator Bail Organa himself. He stood and smiled. "Ah, I presume you are Mr. Illistus."
Solo glanced at Luke. The kid was smiling politely, but mischief was dancing around behind the fake grin.
"A pleasure, Senator Organa." Luke reached out as Organa came around the desk to shake his hand. "Thank you for meeting with me. On such short notice no less."
"I always want to make time for my people." Organa gestured to the three chairs sitting at his desk. "Please."
Luke nodded. "These are my colleagues, Mr. Ham and Chawdacca."
Chewbacca grunted at that. Solo had to refrain from rolling his eyes out of his skull.
Organa only smiled and shook their hands as well before they were all seated. "You said you were hoping for a loan on your farmland, but the bank declined?"
Luke nodded. "It's a terrible mistake really. But no one is willing to help me figure it out. I was hoping to maybe get some advice. Maybe some help in figuring it-" something started beeping.
Solo frowned and glanced at Luke. He had held up a hand and was checking his holo. "Excuse me."
Luke got up and quickly left the office.
Solo watched him leave before looking at Bail. "Kids and those holos."

Luke slipped into a vacant office before answering the call. "Not a good time, Father."
Darth Vader's little holo image shifting slightly. "Kenobi is on Alderaan."
"The Jedi gave him away?"
"She did. I am on my way."
Luke's heart skipped a beat. "I may be able to find where exactly he is. I was just in a meeting with Bail Organa."
"Has he given you anything?" Darth Vader asked.
Luke shook his head. "Your call came in before I could get started."
"Get back to work." Darth Vader said, pausing a moment before speaking again. "Do not underestimate Kenobi. He was a Jedi Master at the height of the Clone Wars. As powerful as you are... he will prove a greater challenge should you find him before I arrive."
"I won't." Luke promised. He closed off the call and exhaled. This was turning out to be an exciting visit to Alderaan.
Luke headed back into Organa's office. "My apologies, my father-" Luke pulled up short. His senses suddenly blaring as a tall, fat man with long, pulled back grey hair appeared in the balcony. Solo and Chewbacca were already up and at Luke's back.
"Who's this?" Luke asked politely, hand in his jacket to grasp his lightsaber.
The big man clasped his hands and bowed his head slightly in greeting. "I am Ferus Olin, a Jedi."
Organa was up and starring at the self proclaimed Jedi in disbelief. "What are you doing?" Organa hissed.
The big man, Olin, raised a hand for peace. "He already knew there were Jedi here. Didn't you?"
Luke shrugged. "My master had his suspicions."
Olin frowned gravely. "Your master was given information by one of our own."
"Probably." Luke grinned. "How should I know?"
"Don't play coy, little one." Olin said. He seemed infinitely patient. "I have not come to fight you. Only to talk."
Luke glanced at Solo. "About?"
"The Jedi your master took captive." Olin explained. "She is quite dear to us. We want to make a trade."
"I'll indulge you." Luke tilted his head at the man. "What do you have to offer? Besides your massive collection of fat?"
"We have only one thing we believe your master will bargain for."
The office doors swung open. In walked another man. This one appeared more physically fit than Olin. A human with light auburn hair turning grey and a trimmed beard. Healthy skin and dangerous blue eyes. Luke turned towards him, sensing a much greater threat in this one than in Olin. This one had to be Kenobi.
"Let me guess," Luke glanced between the two Jedi. "Me?"
Kenobi smiled as he revealed a lightsaber in his hand. "You are his son after all."
