Episode 65 - Final Round
Alright ladies and gentlemen. Here we the go. The 13th and final episode of Season 3.
Season 3 finale time. Let's go.
William heads to Lyoko for the first time.
Jeremy functions a program inside Lyoko, that prevents William from losing his memory when the Return To The Past Now is activated.
There is a skateboarding competition at the school.
Everyone is failing miserably at it.
Odd is performing like a champ at it, unlike his other classmates.
His girlfriend for all one episode back in Season 2 - Samantha congratulations Odd on a job well done.
Milly and Tamiya (the two girls reporting news for the school) are given an assignment to film the life of Jeremy for 24 hours.
Sam: Odd is so cute.
Ulrich: You should see his room, it's always a mess.
That...was cold Ulrich.
Aelita contacts Ulrich that Xana is attacking the central core of Lyoko on Sector 5.
Ulrich tries to sneak away. His father suddenly appears in the gym, out of nowhere and stops him.
Aelita tries contacting Yumi. Her parents are out of town, and she has to babysit her little brother.
Oh geez. Side characters that appeared in all of like one episode of this series, are making a mess of things.
Odd is still skateboarding.
Jeremy is still distracted by Milly and Tamiya interviewing him.
Aelita tries contacting William.
William heads to the hideout right away.
Umm...that's not good to leave the rookie to head to Lyoko on his own.
Aelita tries contacting Jeremy again.
Milly and Tamiya are fighting in the background, about who conducted Jeremy's interview better.
The camera is still recording.
Jeremy has no idea, that he let "Me, Odd, William, Yumi and Ulrich have to head to Lyoko" slip out of his mouth.
He's still talking to Aelita on the phone.
And it's all caught on tape.
Jeremy makes an excuse to go to the bathroom, escapes the school and heads to the hideout.
William and Aelita head to Sector 5.
William's weapon is basically a Cloud Strife Final Fantasy 7 Buster Sword rip off. Deduct a few points for just that alone.
Xana takes control of William's body in Sector 5.
Aelita is alone by herself, in there against Wiliam.
Ulrich has had a enough of his dad and makes a run for the hideout.
Yumi finally escapes her house and her little brother vows to get her in trouble.
Odd dumps Sam at the gymnasium and makes a run for it to Lyoko.
Jeremy finally gets to the hideout and is spellbound at what's happening.
Xana (inside William's body) is about to destroy the sphere cube in Sector 5.
Odd, Yumi and Ulrich finally get there.
Man, at least this feels like a season finale or a lash hurrah as you could put it.
All of a sudden, a beep comes up on Jeremy's computer. It's a way of receiving and recover Franz Hopper (Aelita's dad) back to the real world.
This sub-plot I guess, took time for it to finish downloading to the computer.
Just before that could happen?
Xana (inside William's body) destroys the sphere core of Sector 5.
It's all over.
Code Lyoko is completely destroyed and William is trapped inside of there.
And now Xana has the oppportunity to attack Earth whenever he wants.
It looks like Return To The Past Now functions won't work anymore.
Jeremy gets a sudden e-mail notification.
It's a letter from Franz Hopper.
End episode. And that's the end of Season 3.
Overall Rating - 6.5/10 - Two words. Good grief. All of this toomfoolery for something like this to happen. There is a fourth and final season that I hope wraps everything up for good. It was different for a way of putting a season finale to a show at least. I recommend at least watching it once for yourself. But I will say, it had it's faults. So much calamity.
