I binge watch through the entire series of Code Lyoko. Aside from seeing 1-2 episodes, I'm going in completely blind to this series. It's a show, I would never see anyone say anything good or bad about at all. I'm confused to as to whether or not, it's an anime or a cartoon. Cartoon Network never even aired the finale back in 2007. A smorgasbord of a project. Let's do this.

77. Episode 68: Opening Act

Episode 68 - Opening Act

News gossip about some nobody musician named Kris, coming by to visit the school.

Total nobody. Why never bring him up from the past three seasons?

Aelita makes an impression for the man, with some killer DJ funkmaster skills. (Sorry, I don't know how to preface this.)

Aelita is really good at being a DJ. Just then, Jeremy calls for a Xana attack.

Xana makes a duplicate of of Kris The Musician and kidnaps Aelita, holstering her over his shoulders.

Xana takes her to Lyoko with Yumi, quickly following behind them.

We're back to the forest sector. It's reprogrammed.

The real Kris ponders what's going on and Ulrich and Odd, lead him to the hideout.

Aelita manages to escape Xana and finds herself against a 3-on-1 handicap fight, against a few crab monsters.

Aelita: What's wrong ladies? Missed leg day?

lol

Actually, a fairly decent fight scene between Yumi and William.

Odd and Ulrich head up to Lyoko, to help out the girls and Odd sports a new spandex outfit.

Aelita makes it to the tower and deactivates it.

Return To The Past Now.

Kris builds a funding for Aelita and he enjoys her work, on the music she made for him.

End episode.

Overall Rating - 5.8/10 - A very slow, monotonous start. But thankfully it got better. Still a filler episode and I'll doubt we'll see this Kris guy again. Some cute Aelita moments but, that was about it.
