Episode 72 - Crash Course

The new winter clothing looks cool. Glad to see, it wasn't clothes being worn for just one episode.

Jeremy gets a sudden agitation that Xana is targeting him and Aelita too frequently.

Jeremy wants to give Odd, Ulrich and Yumi a "crash course" with using his computer.

Aelita wants to go practice being a disc jockey and tells Jeremy, he has nothing to worry about.

Aelita kisses Jeremy on the cheek.

Aelita heads to disc jockey practice and rejoins up with Kris and his band.

Well, I was wrong. At least this Kris guy wasn't shown for just one episode.

Odd heads to Lyoko on his own - while there, Jeremy teaches them.

Xana attacks Jeremy, Ulrich and Yumi at the hideout.

He attacks the group for a brief minute and then suddenly disappears.

Jeremy is injured in the attack and is out cold.

Jeremy didn't really tutor them all that much, before the attack.

Yumi tries pressing a button on the keyboard and almost detaches Odd's head from his body.

Why there is a function like that on the keyboard, is anyone's guess.

Aelita is done at her DJ audition and gets a text message from Yumi, that she needs to get out of there.

Xana hijacks a vehicle and chases after Aelita.

Aelita and Yumi run back to the hideout.

Aelita quickly heads to Lyoko, while Xana attacks Yumi in the control of a random man's body.

Aelita finally deactivates the tower.

No Return To The Past Now.

End episode.

Overall Rating - 2.9/10 - This was not good at all. In fact? This was the worst episode yet. Everything was all over the place and there was no reason for Xana to leave on a whim like he did after attacking Jeremy and then chasing after Aelita and then attacking Yumi. Zero story progression, unless you count our heroes learning how to use a computer, which is bull - because everyone's had some prior use to using the computer with how Lyoko works anyway, from many episodes ago. This was by far the worst episode yet and it nearly killed my interest with the show. If this wasn't the final season, I probably would just give up right here.

Note: This wasn't actually the lowest rated Code Lyoko episode in my opinion. It's going to be fun actually re-reading through all of this again.
