I binge watch through the entire series of Code Lyoko. Aside from seeing 1-2 episodes, I'm going in completely blind to this series. It's a show, I would never see anyone say anything good or bad about at all. I'm confused to as to whether or not, it's an anime or a cartoon. Cartoon Network never even aired the finale back in 2007. A smorgasbord of a project. Let's do this.

85. Episode 76: The Lake

Episode 76 - The Lake

The kids are boarding on a charter bus. The school is having a camping trip to God only knows where.

Yumi apparently has a test to take care of and has to pass up on the opportunity, for the field trip.

The field trip is in some garden in the middle of nowhere, near a swamp.

Okay, so it's a lake actually. That's why the episode is titled "The Lake"

Very easy-going episode here.

No real drama to speak of.

Not for long as Xana infects the lake with some poisonous water.

Jeremy and Aelita manage to make an antenna out in the wilderness and find out Xana is attacking Lyoko.

Yumi skips her test, heads to the hideout and doesn't know what to do.

Yumi heads to Lyoko on her own. Good luck girl.

Xana takes the opportunity to attack the team's submarine and tries to destroy it, while they're not there.

Xana throws a wrench in Yumi's way with having William attack her.

William tries to dispose of Yumi but, Yumi manages to hold her own in the fight.

During the fight, William starts to fight Xana's control of him.

How...just...like that out of nowhere?

Aelita manages to get to the hideout.

How she did that by simply cycling there and how far away the actual camping trip was at, is anyone's guess.

Aelita created a gigantic over shield, preventing the submarine from taking further damage. She quickly heads to Lyoko.

A big storm is brewing at the field trip.

Aelita deactivates the tower.

Return To The Past Now. (Yumi activates it with Jeremy's absence)

End episode.

Overall Rating - 5.9/10 - Meh. What was the occasion for going on this field trip in the first place. I tried typing all that up, convincingly and make it sound cool. It's not very noteworthy to be honest. Nothing really horrendous, it was just another mid-filler type of episode.
