I binge watch through the entire series of Code Lyoko. Aside from seeing 1-2 episodes, I'm going in completely blind to this series. It's a show, I would never see anyone say anything good or bad about at all. I'm confused to as to whether or not, it's an anime or a cartoon. Cartoon Network never even aired the finale back in 2007. A smorgasbord of a project. Let's do this.

87. Episode 78: Lab Rat

Episode 78 - Lab Rat

Jeremy has great news. He figured out a way to easily get the group to Xana's adaptation of Lyoko. This was briefly managed a few episodes back, never expanded upon.

Another mission into the submarine.

Jeremy has discovered a way to put the sub into hyperspace.

Basically, making it travel faster, than ever before.

They take a trip to the replica world of Lyoko, Xana made.

Jeremy splits everyone up into groups of two.

Odd: You two are together.

Yumi & Ulrich: Shut up Odd!

Odd and Aelita head inside a laboratory, according to Jeremy, contains a super computer Xana made to pit against the team.

Weird monster sound effects at the 11 minute mark.

Odd and Aelita are inside and find the place crawling with monsters that Xana plans on experimenting on, to attack our heroes.

They get caught.

Yumi and Ulrich fight against William on the fake Lyoko world.

Odd and Aelita somehow take down the guards, surrounding them and exploit the room where the Super Computer is at.

Odd destroys the shield, surrounding the Super Computer.

Just as they are about to destroy it for good?

Xana's back up comes and throws the pair out of the building.

Jeremy quickly gathers up everybody back to earth.

Ulrich: There's so sense in dissing ourselves. We did our best.

Ulrich gives Yumi a late birthday gift and kiss.

End episode.

Overall Rating - 3.7/10 - Ugh. I didn't like this at all. Pacing issues galore. I'm grasping at straws here with these last few episodes, which ones I liked better. Even the bickering here between Ulrich and Yumi, wasn't as good as it could have been. Bad episode. All of a sudden, we now have to head to this alternative Lyoko world, Xana made, after the plot to this world was doormat for quite a few episodes in a row, let alone not even being vaguely mentioned before in the past 5-6 episodes at all.
