This is basically the closest we'll get to a certain Looney Tunes characters being in an episode of Bugs Bunny Builders.
Daffy was sitting on a bench reading a French dictionary.
"I can't even understand a word on this thing!" He complained.
"That's because you're reading it upside down." Giggled Lola, pointing out that it was, in fact, upside down.
"Wait a minute!" Daffy exclaimed. "Can I read?"
Before anyone could offer to help Daffy out, they heard the Looney phone ring. Lola answered.
"Looney Builders, Bugs speaking." Bugs greeted when he answered the phone.
"Eet ees Pepe le Pew." Came the voice on the other end of the line.
"Hiya, Pepe!" Greeted Bugs.
"Looney Builders, please 'elp moi!" Pepe pleaded. "I 'ave asked mon sweetheart, Penelope, on a date, and I would really like to impress 'er. Could vou build moi a fancy French restaurant, s'il vous plait?"
"A fancy French restaurant, eh?" Asked Bugs. "Sure thing."
Then he hung up and addressed his crew.
"We got a job to do, team!" He said. "Pepe wants us to build a fancy French restaurant."
"Ooh, a fancy Fwench westauwant?" Replied Tweety. "How fancy."
"Not to mention F-f-f-French." Agreed Porky.
"And restaurant-y!" Added Daffy.
The other builders looked at Daffy and raised their eyebrows.
"What?" Daffy protested.
The Looney Builders met in the blueprint room to discuss the plans for building the fancy French restaurant. Lola had her tablet in her hands for the illustrations.
"Now, I'm thinking that since it's fancy, there should be a ballroom which will be perfect for couples." Suggested Bugs.
"A ballroom?" Replied Lola, illustrating it on her tablet. "That's perfect, Bugs! Who else has ideas?"
"For some Fwench patwonage, there should be a statue of the Eiffel Tower on top of the building." Tweety spoke out.
"I love that idea!" Lola replied as it appeared on the board.
"Water fountains t-t-t-too." Added Porky. "They can be romantic."
"Genius!" Lola happily exclaimed as water fountains appeared on the screen. "Pepe and Penelope will be pleased!"
Daffy was trying to wonder what to include, but unfortunately, he doesn't know much about France.
"Alright team, it's hard hat time!" Bugs announced.
Hard hat time
It's hard hat time
It's time to build, that's our cue
Let's grab our gear, and round up the crew
There's stuff to do, it's time to create
Hey, it's gonna be great
Come, let's go, and answer the call
There's no project too big or small
We do it all
Daffy walked over wearing a French beret instead of a hard hat.
"What?" He protested. "Gotta get into the French feeling."
It's hard hat time
Woah, oh
It's hard hat time
We're the best
We're number one
'Cause the Looney Builders
Always get the job done
'Cause it's hard hat time
Woah, oh
It's hard hat time
It's hard hat time
Woah, oh
It's hard hat time
There's no idea too big or small
If you have a job, give Looney Builders a call
"Buckle up, crew." Lola spoke into her CB radio. "We're gonna bag-uette this job!"
The Looney Builders drove off to the spot where Pepe was waiting for them.
"Zhank goodness vou came!" Pepe exclaimed. "Penelope will be 'ere soon and I would like our date to be perfect!"
"Don't worry, Pepe." Lola reassured. "This will be a date night Penelope will never forget."
"Hey Daffy, do you mind designing the menu board?" Asked Bugs.
"There's just one problem." Daffy replied. "I don't know much French words."
"Do not worry, Mon ami." Pepe replied. "Allow moi to 'elp vou."
As Pepe was telling Daffy the names of various French foods, the other Looney Builders were setting up the floors and walls for the main part of the restaurant. A few minutes later, Daffy presented the menu, to show that he had spelt the French foods wrong. He spelt crepe as "crayp", baguette as "baget", croissant as "crossaunt", and Ratatouille as "Ratatooy".
"Um Daffy, vou spelt zhem wrong." Pepe pointed out.
"Aw nuts!" Daffy exclaimed.
"Allow moi to 'elp vou." Pepe replied, presenting Daffy a French dictionary.
Later, the crew were making the water fountains.
"Are we done yet?" Daffy asked.
"No." Said Lola.
Five minutes passed.
"Are we done yet?" Daffy asked.
"No." Said Porky.
Three minutes passed.
"Are we done yet?" Daffy asked.
"No." Said Tweety, who was sounding somewhat annoyed.
"Daffy, if you're bored, maybe you could place mini France flags on all the tables." Suggested Bugs.
"Good idea." Daffy replied.
A few minutes later, Daffy approached the group.
"I've got the flags set up." He announced.
They looked at the tables and saw that all the tables had Luxembourg flags on them.
"Daffy, those aren't flags of France." Lola pointed out. "Those are flags of Luxembourg."
"Oh, don't worry." Daffy replied. "I'll replace them."
As quick as a flash, Daffy replaced the Luxembourg flags with Netherlands flags.
"Now you've used Netherlands flags." Bugs pointed out.
"Aw rats!" Daffy exclaimed. "I'll try again."
He then replaced those flags with Russia flags.
"Those are Wussia fwags." Tweety pointed out.
"Come on!" Daffy exclaimed.
He then used Croatia flags.
"Those are C-C-C-Croatia flags." Porky pointed out.
"Darn it!" Daffy exclaimed.
Then he replaced those flags with Slovakia flags, then Slovenia, then Czech Republic, then Serbia, then the UK, and finally the Iceland flag before Pepe intervened.
"Daffy, zhe French flag looks like zhis." He said, showing Daffy the French flag.
Daffy's eye started twitching, then his body started shaking.
"WHY CAN'T I DO ANYTHING RIGHT?!" He cried before bolting from the room.
"Um, allow moi to talk to 'im." Pepe suggested.
He walked out to find Daffy sitting on a log, feeling down.
"Cheer up, Daffy." Pepe said.
"I can't." Sniffles Daffy. "I tried to make this restaurant perfect for you and Penelope but I keep messing it up."
"To make vou feel better, allow moi to educate vou on France." Pepe offered.
For the next few minutes, Pepe educated Daffy on France's language, culture, and even history. Afterwards, Daffy came back to the crew, looking like he's cheered up.
"Come on team!" He said, proudly. "We have a restaurant to finish."
Within time, the Looney Builders managed to finish building the restaurant, complete with water fountains, ballroom, and Eiffel Tower statue on top.
"Looney Builders, zhis restaurant ees perfect!" Pepe happily exclaimed.
A banner was hung around the statue that read "Pepe's Fancy French Restaurant - Open for Business!"
"Say, I wonder when Penelope is going to get here." Lola said.
No sooner had Lola made the statement that Penelope was there in the flesh.
"Oh Pepe!" She exclaimed, running into Pepe's arms. "Zhis restaurant is magnificent!"
"Wait until vou see what else I 'ave planned for vou." Said Pepe, presenting a rose.
Later that evening, Pepe and Penelope were slow-dancing in the ballroom.
"Hey Lola, care to dance?" Asked Bugs.
"Oh Bugs." Giggled Lola, taking Bugs' hand.
As they danced as well, Porky, Daffy, and Tweety wondered who they were going to dance with. They heard a "ahem" from behind them, turned, and there was Petunia, Melissa, and Aoogah. They all smiled at them. It was much later in the evening that there was more dialogue.
"Bonjour, Pepe." Daffy said.
"Bonjour means 'ello." Pepe corrected.
"Well what's French for goodbye?" Daffy asked.
"Ah revior." Said Pepe.
"Exactly." Daffy replied as the screen fades to black.
The end.
