"He's ruined..." Bridgette was watching TV while sitting on a couch, just watching the trial where Chris McLean had just been sentenced to a full year in prison. Many people seem devastated by this surprisingly, although for ex-contestants, the opposite could be said.

"Hey Geoff! They just gave the sentence! Chris got a full year in jail!" Bridgette called to her boyfriend, who was currently hanging outside their home in Malibu.

Geoff and his party friend Brody were playing frisbee when Bridgette walked outside, waving to them both. "So the Chrismeister really got locked up huh? That's kinda sad brah, really sucks to see him lose it." Geoff commented, slightly saddened to hear this.

Bridgette wasn't surprised that Geoff felt bad for Chris, but before she could tell him anything else, she felt a buzzing in her hoodie pocket. She pulled out her phone and answered it, despite not recognizing the number. It was a 1-800 number, so it was a business of some kind. "Hello? I think you got the wrong number." Bridgette told the person on the other line first.

As the voice on the other side spoke though, Bridgette's eyes widened. "What is it Bridge?" Geoff asked, now stepping onto the porch to see what was going on.

Bridgette listened to the voice for a bit longer, before pulling the phone away from her mouth for a moment. "They want us to host the next season now that Chris is locked up. We're the only other ones that have the experience apparently." Bridgette answered, now making Geoff's eyes widen.

"What about Chef?" he asked.

"Missing in action, after they detained Chris, he completely disappeared. Probably in hiding." Bridgette replied right away.

"So is it gonna just be us? Because I don't really know if we can handle all that." Geoff asked next, looking at the relatively empty beach that was their yard.

Bridgette now spoke into the phone again after that. "Do you think we can get a few interns?" Bridgette requested from the network.

An answer came and Bridgette gave Geoff a thumbs up to let her know what she heard. "So where's the season going to be? I watched the last season, I know the island is quarantined." Bridgette questioned the network.

Another answer came, making Bridgette a little uncomfortable. "Right here in Malibu? I guess a beach season could work. When are we filming then? ...next week? Sounds fine as long as you pay us the same Chris and Chef got paid! Can't wait!" Bridgette told the network, then hung up the phone after they gave their goodbye.

Geoff blinked a couple times, surprised at what he guessed had happened. "So we're hosting the season right here babe? At least we got the interns, this is gonna be kinda weird." Geoff asked to confirm.

Bridgette nodded her head. "Yup! They're sending over interns and a camera crew, so we'll have all the help we need. Plus we'll be getting the same salary Chris did for this!" Bridgette added, now making Brody run over.

"Yoooo! That's like, a lot of money! You might be able to get that surfboard you've been lookin' at for a while!" Brody exclaimed.

"It's a lot more than you think. But I think we should get some challenges ready. They're sending over the most popular contestants from last season, and a few extra to pad out the cast." Bridgette told them both.

Geoff tilted his hat up a bit. "This sounds wicked! We can have some gnarly challenges, but everyone gets to have a good time! What's the season called anyway?" Geoff exclaimed, already thinking up some challenges.

Bridgette nodded in agreement with his first part, having a big smile. "He said it was called, Total, Drama, Malibu!"

...

...

...

"Why'd you say it like that?" Brody asked Bridgette, since she raised her arms with each word.

Bridgette lowered her arms awkwardly, then shrugged. "That's... just how they do it on the show? I don't know, didn't feel right just saying the name. Anyway, let's get ready!" Bridgette told them both, then walked inside their cottage.

Intro Sequence:

Instead of the usual rock tune of I Wanna Be Famous, harsher electric guitar chords came in at A minor, along with harsher drum beats and synths. Cameras popped out of various places along a beach in Malibu, first a trash can, then from behind a lounge chair, then out of some sand. Before the lyrics came in, a film clapper appeared in front of the camera and began the scene.

Whatever happened to the young young lovers? One moved on and the other got lost in

After the scene began, the camera briefly showed a beautiful stretch of a Malibu beach, with a bustling street right behind it. Geoff and Bridgette were shown on a pier together, each of them raising an arm to let the camera zoom by them. Mike was a bit behind them, just watching the co-hosts with a blank expression.

Meds and shocks and tears in the street, tears on his knees, teary history

Vanessa and Zoey were further down the pier, playing a carnival throwing game together. Vanessa had a big smile on her face as she got a bullseye with a baseball, making Zoey sigh as she threw and missed her shot.

Whatever happened to the Nerd Herd? Still quite sane, but what about Shane? Took himself back to the drawing board, plotting for those he abhorred

Mitzy and Arin were playing some kind of laser game at a carnival stand, both of them having ice cream cones, with Shane trying to keep up with them in the game and fire at the aliens in it. Jo came running by down the pier though, and his face filled with malice.

An eye for an eye, a leg for a leg, a vote off the show doesn't go away

Going down from the pier and onto the beach itself, Monica was sitting on a beach chair with binoculars on her eyes, while Lucien was napping on a chair next to her. Jo passed by them both on her run, blatantly pushing Monica off her seat as she passed by.

Everyone has to go, but being booted by a kid stings a long long way

Anne Maria was trying to sunbathe on the beach in her swimsuit when Caleb passed by with a metal detector, getting a scornful look from her.

You wanna be famous? You wanna be famous? You wanna be famous? They go

Brick and Brava were playing volleyball together, although Brava jumped up and spike the ball right at Brick's face. The cadet rubbed his face, but tried to keep a smile albeit pained. The ball bounced towards Petunia, who was startled as it hit her in the back and made her spray them both.

Na na na, nanana na na

The skunk spray transitioned the scene to neon lights above several beach garlands on wooden posts at night. Mickey and Jay were sitting next to each other on folding chairs, already looking nervous before Geoff popped up between them to try and cheer them up. This made the twins run off, with Bridgette letting out a sigh as this happened. The scene then zoomed out to show the rest of the cast sitting in a half circle on folding chairs, all of them humming one last droning note while the title of the season was shown on the center garland.

One week later, Bridgette and Geoff now stood at a dock further down the coast of Malibu at Paradise Cove Pier. "Welcome everyone! It's your co-host Geoff!" Geoff greeted the audience first with a hearty wave.

"And your co-host Bridgette! Bringing you a new season of Total Drama, but with a more tropic twist!" Bridgette greeted the audience next, waving with one hand.

"That's right! We're coming at you from all the way down in Malibu in the golden state of California! Woohoo!" Geoff stated where they were, with the camera panning out for a moment to show a panning shot of the bustling tourist town.

When it cut back to the two, Bridgette spoke up next. "Things are going to be a bit different this season. For starters, without Chris, our campers will probably have a much better time than they ever did on Wawanakwa. Can you believe that they actually had to compete in that toxic dump?" Bridgette asked Geoff.

"Still crazy to think about! But let's meet our contestants, since they're arriving right now!" Geoff pointed to his left, where the camera panned to then show a small cruise ship carrying all 16 contestants for this season.

On said cruise ship, everyone was relatively spread out, hanging out with their friends for the most part. The cruise ship pulled up to the dock, and the ramp was lowered, letting the players walk onto the pier. "Joining us this season are our most popular contestants from last season, starting with..."

"Petunia!"

Petunia was still mutated, but she looked content with it. As she stepped onto the pier, she pulled out her pocket bottle of hand sanitizer from her hoodie and rubbed her hands together. "Hey, thanks for inviting me out here. Kinda surprised they wanted me back honestly." Petunia greeted the hosts as she rubbed her hands together.

Geoff walked right up to Petunia and patted her on the back. "No problem brah! We're gonna have a wicked time here! But uhh, why are you blue?" Geoff asked her, not having seen her mutated state before.

"Geoff? You did watch last season right? She got bit by a mutant skunk and mutated because of it." Bridgette reminded Geoff.

Petunia nodded her head to confirm. "Yeah, what she said. I'm just hoping to win so I can get it taken care of. Medical insurance doesn't cover radioactive waste mutation." Petunia stated, sighing afterward and walking past both hosts.

Up next came Mitzy and Arin together, walking side by side. "Welcome back Nerd Herd! Well, Nerd Herd minus one." Bridgette greeted them both, getting a small giggle from Mitzy.

"Sam and Dakota were busy, but we'll win in their name! The Nerd Herd stands for justice!" Arin declared proudly, doing a heroic pose with one hand in the air.

Mitzy nodded in agreement. "Basically that. Kinda bummed that I won't get to see more mutant animals for comic inspiration, but hey, this place is beautiful! Perfect for landscape ideas!" Mitzy exclaimed, looking at the pristine coastline.

"Maybe even for a beach chapter if you know what I mean, heh." Arin joked, and the two laughed amongst each other as they walked past the hosts.

Lucien stepped onto the pier next, groaning as Geoff put an arm around him. "Yo! Lucien! Welcome to Malibu man! You ready to have a better time than last season?" Geoff greeted Lucien eagerly.

Lucien rolled his eyes, wiggling out of Geoff's half hug and moseying past the couple. "Unless I get booted first again, pretty sure this will go better. Just... don't. Like don't with the bro stuff please." Lucien told Geoff, already sounding tired.

After Lucien a new contestant stepped onto the pier though. She had red hair in pigtails with a flower on her head, with a red crop top and olive green pants. "Umm, hey!" she greeted everyone present, giving an awkward wave.

"Welcome to the show Zoey! How does it feel to be here?" Bridgette asked Zoey, of course being friendly.

Zoey looked at the four on the pier so far, seeing Mitzy and Arin not even acknowledge her as they were chatting with each other, Lucien just giving her an unamused look, and Petunia offering a small wave. "Cool? I really hope I can make some friends while I'm here. I auditioned last season, but hey, at least they wanted me this time!" Zoey tried to look at the bright side, chuckling nervously afterward.

Geoff laughed as she said this though. "Dudette, you know why you didn't get in last time right? One of the interns threw out your application to put Beebee in, so we're giving you your own shot here!" Geoff explained to her.

Zoey looked shocked by this, but she quickly tried to put a smile back on. "That's umm... not cool, but I'll do what I can! I did watch the show, so I know everyone here." Zoey stated, then walked over to join the others.

"Except we don't know you." Lucien corrected her, making Zoey sigh as she stood with them.

After Zoey was Shane, who walked by himself onto the pier with his arms crossed. "Welcome back Shane, you don't look too happy to be here, what's up?" Bridgette asked Shane, right away noticing his bitter demeanor.

"Oh I'm happy to be here. I'm just not letting my guard down after I got robbed last season. It won't be happening again." Shane answered, although he didn't harbor the bitter look towards those that were already here.

"Robbed? You mean outplayed! Ha!" Jo soon taunted Shane as she stepped onto the pier, right away getting a glare from him.

Bridgette rolled her eyes at Jo's words, also looking at her with a lack of fondness. "Hey Jo. You think you can make it far in this season when everyone here knows how you are now?" Bridgette asked her.

Jo just gave a wave of dismissal. "Not like I ever tried to hide it. And I already know I'll go far. I mean, look at the most 'popular' contestants here. A bunch of nerds, a sore loser, some nobody, and... oh. Hey Petunia." Jo began to insult the others, stopping when she saw Petunia.

"Hey Jo." Petunia waved to Jo with a small smile, endeared that Jo didn't insult her.

Jo walked past the co-hosts and stood by Petunia, with Geoff leaning over to Bridgette for a moment. "She reminds me of Eva, but like, wittier. Kinda weird babe." Geoff whispered to Bridgette while the next person stepped onto the pier.

It was Brick, who jogged onto the pier and saluted the co-hosts right away. "Brick MacArthur, reporting for duty! I am honored to be invited back for another tour of duty!" Brick formally greeted them, getting a chuckle from Geoff.

"Right on man, great to have you too! Lighten up a bit though, we're chilling on this beach for the next two weeks!" Geoff greeted Brick back, tipping his hat to acknowledge Brick's salute.

"Will do, sir!" Brick accepted it as an order, then casually walked toward the others.

Brick got plenty of waves, and Brick saluted them all. "Hi. I'm umm, Zoey!" Zoey introduced herself, giving a few small excited waves.

"Pleasure to meet you Zoey, I see they're taking in new recruits this season as well. If we end up on the same team, you can count on me to help you learn the ropes!" Brick offered his help, making Zoey smile.

After Brick was Anne Maria, who was spraying herself with her spray tan as she walked onto the pier. "You can stop bein' bored, 'cuz the smokin' hot beach babe is here y'all!" Anne Maria declared her presence, making Bridgette and Geoff cough as she arrived.

"We're in Malibu, do you really need the tan spray?" Petunia asked her, pointing up at the clear sky.

Shane elbowed Petunia, glaring down at her. "Do we really need the skunk spray either?" Shane remarked, shutting Petunia up.

Anne Maria nodded her head at Petunia's question. "Of course I need it doll, gotta look my best, and the sun is inconsistent as all heck. I've tried to use natural light for my tan before, it gets all patchy if you don't do it 100% right. Ain't worth the effort." Anne Maria answered, continuing to spray herself as she joined the others, who stepped away from her as soon as she did.

After Anne Maria was Vanessa, who was closely followed by Monica. "Welcome to the show Vanessa, how do you feel about your chances this season?" Bridgette asked her with a friendly smile, although that smile didn't reach her eyes in this case.

"Pretty good. I got the gist of everyone here, so I shouldn't get blindsided by some 'people'." Vanessa answered, which just infuriated Monica as she said this.

"Don't just say it like that, you still haven't gotten what you deserved!" Monica yelled at Vanessa.

Bridgette stepped in between them. "Hey, we're in a tropical paradise, let's not start on a bad note okay? Welcome back to the show Monica." Bridgette broke up the confrontation, much to Vanessa's relief.

Monica was still furious though, staring her down with unfulfilled vengeance in her eyes. "We got on a bad note as soon as she dumped Mike, that's not changing." Monica replied sternly.

Shane just shrugged. "Eh. He had it coming." he commented.

The next two people stepped onto the pier though before Monica could continue. Two twins, about the same stature as Cameron. They were identical, just one wore a light blue hoodie while the other wore a dark blue one, with the former also having protective headgear on.

"Mickey! Jay! Welcome to Malibu dudes! How's it hangin'?" Geoff welcomed the twins, although neither looked too excited to be here.

Jay was already looking at the pier with skepticism, while Mickey looked at least a little happy. "We're doing alright! Other than the seasickness on the way here, the food poisoning from the shrimp lunch, and falling overboard and having to have the entire crew save me, it was pretty good!" Mickey answered.

"That sounds horrible! Are you two okay?" Bridgette asked them, shocked to hear him say this so casually.

"You get used to it." Jay began, now looking up from the pier. "We're not cursed, but we're whatever is right before it. Cameron didn't want to come back, so he asked us to take his place. After that ride here, I can't blame him." Jay explained.

Mickey began to walk forward to join the others, but Jay quickly stopped him. "Wait! I already scanned the pier over, there's 7 different spots to trip over. Just follow me okay?" Jay directed his brother.

Mickey nodded, and the two walked past the co-hosts slowly as they stepped over the slight increases in elevation of the pier wood planks. "How long do you think they'll last?" Petunia asked Jo.

"I'd give 'em three episodes for both of them to be gone. Maybe two." Jo quipped right away.

Monica on the other hand didn't see them that way, with her now following the twins. "Hey, do you guys need help?" Monica offered her help to them, seeing where they were stepping over.

Mickey looked back at Monica for a moment, shaking his head. "Uh, not really? Most people who try to help tend to get caught up with our bad luck. I don't want anyone else to get hurt." Mickey explained to her, although he then tripped since he wasn't looking forward.

Monica caught him by the arm before he hit the ground though. "Well in cases like this, I'll be glad to help you out!" Monica still let her offer remain as she pulled Mickey back up, then walked past the twins and joined the rest of the cast.

Up next to arrive was Caleb, who was met with no warmth at all. No one was happy to see him. Except for Geoff that is. "Yo Caleb! Glad to have you back! You won last time, you think you can do it again?" Geoff greeted Caleb.

Caleb smirked and nodded his head. "Of course I can. Howard are Staci are gone, so the biggest threats are out of the way. Well, they aren't threats, they just lasted the longest. This'll be a piece of cake." Caleb answered confidently.

"Everyone here hates your guts, you're screwed no matter what. I know comebacks are a thing, but I don't believe you can do it." Mitzy told Caleb, glaring at the little boy.

"You're just jealous I'm a millionaire and you're not. I don't need your faith!" Caleb shot back, still carrying his smirk.

After Caleb was Brava, who walked onto the pier just as coldly as Shane did. "Oh hey Brava, it's good to have you back! What did you do between the seasons?" Bridgette asked her.

"Train. I'm not suffering another humiliating defeat this season. Not even close." Brava answered coldly, not stopping and just walking over to join the rest of the case.

"That makes two tryhards." Anne Maria remarked, glancing at Shane for a moment.

Arin shook her head in disagreement. "They aren't tryhards, they're putting their best foot forward at their second chance! Just like I will be, for justice!" Arin yet again used her booming heroic voice.

The last person to walk onto the pier was Mike, humming a little song to himself as he did so. "Hey Mike, welcome back to Total Drama! Are you feeling alright?" Bridgette asked Mike, knowing how last season went.

Mike had a smile on his face and he waved to the co-hosts. "Hey! I'm doing alright. Just alone at the edge of universe humming a tune." Mike answered, then continued to hum the song as he started to walk past them.

"Uh, what?" Geoff asked, very confused with how he worded it.

"You haven't heard? I thought you guys would know since you live here, or maybe it's just an urban legend. But a lot of people believed in the old days that Malibu was the edge of the universe. Then it was Hawaii, and then the myths died off after the gold rush. Just some fun trivia I guess?" Mike elaborated, chuckling awkwardly afterward.

Caleb scoffed at this. "Since when you get so interested in that kind of stuff? Did you get another personality that likes history now?" Caleb insulted Mike, before getting a quick slap upside the head from Petunia.

"I just did a little looking into Malibu before I came out here, never hurts to Yippee search somewhere you're going. It's great to see you all, been a long 3 months hasn't it?" Mike replied as he joined the rest of the cast.

Mitzy nodded in agreement, looking at Arin again for a moment. "Yeah, it's pretty nice to be back with some of you guys. I've only kept in touch with Arin and Sam, plus a bit of Dakota." Mitzy agreed.

"Especially nice that Chris and Scott aren't here..." Lucien added, rubbing one eye.

Now that everyone was here, Geoff waved to get everyone's attention. "Yo dudes! We're gonna get this show on the road now! I know we're here to have a good time, but there's some rules to this party that we gotta go over, you wanna lay 'em out Bridge?" Geoff announced, then looked to his girlfriend.

Bridgette stepped forward, looking at everyone now that Geoff had gotten their attention. "Thanks Geoff. Welcome to Total Drama Malibu everyone! As you can guess by the name, all the challenges here will take place in the city of Malibu, but mostly the beach of course. Every day, you guys will have a challenge, whichever team wins gets invincibility, I'm sure you all know that stuff." Bridgette began to go over the rules of the game.

"We are all well aware, this is our second go around." Brava replied sternly.

Bridgette paused for a moment after Brava's response. "Right, I'll just skip over some stuff then. There's an immunity idol hidden somewhere on the beach, and it works the same way that it did last season. Find it, and you're safe from elimination and the person with the next most votes is out. Only difference is that you have to play it before we start revealing who is safe! Your first challenge will take place down on the beach, so just head on down the pier and further down the beach where our friend Brody is waiting! You probably want to be quick about it too." Bridgette directed them, pointing down the dock, then to a wooden staircase that led down to the sandy beach.

Some right away took that suggestion and began to sprint down the pier. "First challenge is a sprint, perfect!" Jo exclaimed as she and Brick took off immediately.

"Don't count on an easy win." Brava told Jo as she ran behind them, catching up quickly.

The rest of the players all took off as well, but some like Lucien ended up going much slower than the others. "Good luck dudes!" Geoff called to them as they all left.

-Confessional: Mike-

Mike sat in the new confessional, which was just a beach outhouse, similar to the beach confessional in the finale of World Tour. There was a roll of toilet paper on his left, which he spun before looking at the camera. "Sooooo, first confessional back. My uhh... psychiatrist said it'd be fine for me to compete again, so here I am! I learned a lot last season, so maybe I could do better this season? I just hope I can win Vanessa back..."

-Confessional: Petunia

Petunia wiped down the toilet before she sat down, even though only one person had sat on it so far. "Okay, so update on what's been going on with me. Staci and I are still doing good, although it's been hard to do much of anything since a bunch of scientists have been practically breathing down my neck! It'll be a nice getaway being here, even if I don't win. Wish me luck Staci!"

-End Confessionals-

Over further down on the beach, Brody was standing by himself next to two large circular mats, one red and one green. Geoff and Bridgette soon arrived on a motor jet boat, waving to Brody as they arrived. "Anyone arrived yet bro?" Geoff asked him.

Brody shook his head. "Nah dude, but they're comin'!" Brody replied, looking towards the pier with one hand a bit above his eyes.

"Well thanks for standing watch bro, we've got it from here." Geoff thanked Brody as he and Bridgette got off the boat and walked towards the mats.

Brody gave the two a thumbs up, then walked up the sand towards the sidewalk. "No problem dude! Catch you guys later!" Brody waved goodbye as he left to who knows where.

Right after Brody left, Brick arrived, not even breaking a sweat. "First to arrive! Well done Brick, you're on the green team, so just step over here while we wait for the rest!" Bridgette told him, pointing to the green mat.

"Yes ma'am!" Brick replied dutifully, then stepped onto the map.

Jo arrived shortly after, looking mildly annoyed. "You're lucky these trainers aren't meant for the sand!" Jo told Brick as she stopped.

Brava arrived right after her though. "He was still outpacing us even on the pier. Wouldn't blame the shoes if I were you." Brava pointed out.

"Ooh, she's got you there!" Geoff agreed, making Jo roll her eyes. "Anyway, Jo, stand on the red mat, Brava, you're on team green!" Geoff told them both, making them walk to their mats.

After those two was Vanessa surprisingly, although she looked rather tired as she arrived. "Not bad Vanessa! You're on the red team!" Bridgette commended her effort, pointing to the red mat where Jo was.

"Ugh, I actually tried and it's just a team selection thing?" Vanessa groaned as she walked over there, getting a scornful look from Jo.

Shane arrived right after her, and having seen Vanessa walk onto the red mat, he took the cue and walked to the green one. "I'm with you two I'm guessing?" Shane asked.

Geoff nodded his head. "That's right bro! You're a real sharp guy huh?" Geoff responded.

"That really didn't take much thought." Shane mumbled, although he didn't look bothered by his teammates.

-Confessional: Green Team: Shane-

Shane leaned back a bit, having a frown as he looked at the camera. "I'm not on the same team as Jo, so I don't have to worry about her pulling a fast one on me in the pre-merge. I know Brava also prepped herself more for this season, but I don't think she did as much planning as I did. As long as Caleb isn't put on our team, I think I'll have the whole team to myself basically."

-End Confessional-

Mike was the next person to reach the mats, not looking too tired from running. "Hey Mike! You're on the red team!" Bridgette told Mike, although she bit her lip when she remembered who else was on the team.

Mike stepped onto the red mat with Jo and Vanessa, waving to them both. "H-Hey Vanessa!" Mike greeted her a bit nervously.

Vanessa didn't say anything back to him though, just stepping towards the opposite end of the mat and ignoring him. "Great, I have to deal with this." Jo complained to herself, between the two.

The next players to arrive were Zoey and Monica, with more of the contestants close behind them. "Newbie gal, team green! Helping hand, team red!" Geoff gave them nicknames and a team to go to.

Jo let out a very audible groan as Monica joined their team, while Zoey was met with rather cold looks, except from Brick. "Welcome to the team recruit! Glad to have you!" Brick welcomed her with a salute.

"Thanks Brick! Glad to be on the same team as you!" Zoey thanked him, going along with his schtick and saluting him back.

Petunia was right after them, not looking the happiest with having to run through the sand. "Ugh, I hate the sand. It's germy, rough, and gets everywhere." Petunia complained, shaking her shoes to get some of the sand off of them.

"You'll get used to it, don't worry! Petunia, you're on the green team." Bridgette instructed her, pointing to the mat.

Petunia looked at the two teams so far, then sighed when she saw she wasn't on the same team as Jo. "Oh well, at least I'm not caught in all that drama." Petunia said to herself as she stepped on the green mat.

Caleb and Anne Maria showed up next, with Caleb looking exhausted and Anne Maria not that tired since she only leisurely jogged. "You better not make all these challenges physical! That's unfair!" Caleb yelled at the hosts after trying to catch his breath for a moment.

"Why? Because you're a wee little boy? Careful, the sand might eat you up if you stand in the wrong spot probably!" Jo mocked Caleb.

"No! I'm a big boy! Just physical challenges aren't my forte!" Caleb snapped back, then tried to kick some sand at her, but it went nowhere.

Anne Maria just sprayed some of her spray tan right at him, making him cough for a moment. "Just shut it ya spaz." Anne Maria told him, then went right back to spraying herself.

"Okay! Caleb, you're on the red team, Anne Maria, you're on green!" Geoff gave them their teams, letting them split up to go there.

Caleb cleared his throat and walked onto the red mat, where he quickly received a flick to the forehead from Jo. "This better not be how you treat me all season again!" Caleb yelled at Jo, rubbing his forehead.

"Oh trust me, you won't be lasting long at all." Jo replied confidently.

Mickey and Jay were running together, with Arin and Mitzy right behind them. Just before they got to the mats though, Mickey ended up tripping on a soda can and fell forward. Jay stopped to help him, although the nerds also ended up tripping over the twins since they had no time to react. "Owwww... sorry!" Mitzy apologized as she pulled herself up.

Arin had landed on Mickey, although she was quick to pull herself up as well. "Sorry citizens, allow me!" Arin apologized while she helped pull Mickey to his feet.

Bridgette walked up to the four of them, pointing to the mats with her thumb. "I guess all the nice people were slower, but glad that you're here! Mitzy and Arin, you're on the red team, Mickey and Jay, you're on the green team!" Bridgette gave them their teams.

Mitzy and Mike shared smiles as they saw each other, waving as Mitzy joined them. "Good to have some friends on the team, how is your comic coming along? Haven't seen it since last season." Mike asked Mitzy as she arrived.

Mitzy pulled out her sketchbook and flipped to what she was working. "I already finished the arc I was working on from last season, but now I'm working on a tournament arc." Mitzy answered, showing Mike the bracket with her characters in it.

"A tournament arc? How come? I thought that was like just a manga thing." Mike questioned her, scratching the back of his head.

"Well the last arc was a pretty deep dive into the villains, and they're still getting ready to attack, so I need something for the heroes to do y'know? Plus it works as a good way to power scale." Mitzy elaborated, closing her sketchbook for now.

"It gets complicated, we can talk about it later." Arin chimed in, having read it all already.

Lucien finally arrived after that, just walking without a care. "Of course you just walked here, well he's the last one here, so he's out right?" Shane asked the hosts.

"No, why would he be out? He's on the red team, they gotta have 8 people too!" Geoff answered, pointing to the red mat while Lucien just walked over there.

Anne Maria then spoke up, pointing a finger at them. "You said it'd be best if we hurried, so what's that all 'bout huh?" Anne Maria asked them.

"Well it looks bad when you arrive way later doesn't it? We're just trying to keep things on schedule." Bridgette stated, getting a sour look from Anne Maria.

-Confessional: Green Team: Anne Maria-

Anne Maria was filing her nails in the confessional, sitting with one leg over the other. "They really just had us run for no reason huh? I ain't gonna chip a nail on some beach junk here 'cuz they wanna stay 'on schedule'! They edit these things anyway, not like it'd matter!"

-End Confessional-

Now that the teams had been sorted, Geoff and Bridgette each pulled out a small hand flag from their pockets. "Okay, time for your team names dudes! Red, you guys are the Oddball Octopi!" Geoff tossed Jo the small flag since she arrived first, which was red with a logo of an octopus silhouette in the middle.

"Too cheap to print full banners this time?" Jo remarked, before Arin took the flag for her.

Arin raised the flag up proudly. "Regardless of how large our flag is, it is still our flag, and we shall fight for it!" Arin declared.

Geoff raised a fist with her. "Right on brah! That's the spirit!" Geoff cheered with Arin.

Bridgette then tossed the green flag to Brick. "Green team, you guys are the Gallant Gulls!" Bridgette decreed their team as Brick caught the flag.

Their logo was a green standing seagull silhouette, although Brick right away took pride in it. "Like our opposing team, we will fight for our flag! Right troops?" Brick asked the rest of his team.

Shane and Brava still had their cold expressions, while everyone else seemed with it. "Sounds good to me!" Zoey agreed with him, raising a fist to match him raising the flag.

"Yep, good to have some morale." Petunia also agreed, raising one arm a little.

-Confessional: Gallant Gulls: Zoey-

Zoey looked around the confessional in awe for a moment, then looked at the camera. "Okay, wow, I'm actually in the confessional! I'm a huge fan of this show, so being here is just... wow! Brick seems really nice, maybe we'll even be friends! I could use some friends honestly. Hopefully the others don't think I'm trying too hard. What if they hate me because of it? Was this flower too much? You like me right?"

-End Confessional-

Cutting ahead a bit, both teams were now separated further apart by about 30 feet, with Geoff and Bridgette standing in the middle. "So what's our first challenge anyway? Let's just get this over with." Shane asked the hosts.

In the water just ahead of the teams were the three interns Irene, Ted, and Oliver on a raft just 50 feet out into the water. "Just about to get to that bro! Your first challenge is a relay race! Our interns out there have 16 shells, with half of them being painted red for the Octopi, and green for the Gulls! Every member has to swim to the raft one by one, get their shell, then swim back to shore to drop it off! First team to have all their shells wins!" Geoff explained what the challenge was, with Irene and Oliver waving to the teams.

The interns looked actually happy to be here, which Caleb chuckled about. "Heh, with McAbuser gone, the interns don't wanna kill themselves anymore!" Caleb joked.

With the explanation out of the way, Bridgette stepped closer to the water, still staying the middle of the teams. "Alright everyone, send in your first swimmers, and GO!" Bridgette began the challenge, pointing at the raft with both hands.

"I'll go first." Brava told the others firmly, right away leaving and sprinting for the water.

"Triathlete coming through!" Jo right away took off as well for the Octopi, running at the same pace as Brava.

Both girls entered the water, although Jo ended up being a swimmer and was able to get a small lead after just a few seconds. "Told you it was the shoes, ha!" Jo taunted Brava as she swam ahead.

Brava didn't humor Jo's taunt though and just kept swimming. Both girls quickly reached the raft, where Ted held out a bucket of shells for Jo to take from, while Oliver held the bucket for Brava to grab from. "And got it, later Mick Dagger!" Jo further taunted Brava as she pushed off the raft and began to swim back just as Brava arrived.

Brava still didn't engage in the taunting though and just grabbed her shell with a quick nod to Oliver. She swam back fast, but Jo was still just increasing the gap between them. "And Jo sets an early lead for the Octopi! But will they hold it is the question?" Bridgette narrated as she saw Jo come back much quicker.

Jo soon stepped out of the water and rejoined her team on the mat, holding her shell. "I got us a lead, so it ain't my fault if we lose! One of you suckers better go before we lose it now!" Jo told them, having a proud smirk on her face.

-Confessional: Oddball Octopi: Jo-

Jo had one hand on her hip, raising a finger with her other. "If I'm going to make it to the merge, I need to make sure these dorks don't see me as a liability. I'm far from one obviously, but I know these people can't handle my killer zingers, so they'll use anything they can as an excuse to kick me off. I carried our team last season, so I'll just do the same here. Then in the merge I can regroup with Petunia, and with Caleb gone, it'll be an easy sprint to the finale."

-End Confessional-

Lucien surprisingly jogged to the water next, just as Mike was about to take off. "Might as well get this over with. I want a nap." Lucien commented as he left, having no enthusiasm for the challenge.

Brava soon rejoined the Gulls, with Zoey holding out a hand for a high five. "Okay, here I go! Wish me luck team!" Zoey told her teammates as she ran towards the water.

Lucien stepped into the water and began to swim, while Zoey dove in right after him and swam as fast as she could.

Despite Lucien's seemingly lack of interest, he was still swimming relatively fast. Not as fast as Zoey though, and she was easily able to pass him up and make her way to the raft. "Woah, you're fast!" Oliver told her as Zoey grabbed a shell from the bucket.

"Thanks! Had a whole pool to myself growing up!" Zoey told Oliver, then swam away as Lucien arrived.

Petunia, Brick, and Mickey cheered as Zoey now had a lead and swam back toward them. While there was just disappointed silence from the Octopi. "Hey, at least he's out of the way and we aren't too far behind." Mitzy tried to say optimistically.

Zoey soon reached the shore and ran to rejoin her team, dripping wet just like Brava. "Got the shell! That was fast enough right?" Zoey asked with a hopeful smile.

"Fast enough to give us a lead, good on ya red." Anne Maria replied, then stepped off the mat and ran to the water to capitalize on said lead.

Just as Anne Maria stepped into the water, Lucien stepped out and jogged back to join his team. "Hurry it up! If we lose it's your fault!" Vanessa yelled to Lucien.

"They're sending all their athletes first, we'll be fine." Lucien replied droning, then laid down on the red mat and closed his eyes.

Vanessa rolled her eyes, then ran to the water next. "I can't BELIEVE he's taking a nap when he just put us behind!" Vanessa complained as she ran.

Anne Maria was a surprisingly good swimmer, reaching Oliver and grabbing her shell faster than Brava or Zoey had. "Since when was she a good swimmer?" Shane asked Brick, who looked pleasantly surprised at this.

-Confessional: Gallant Gulls: Anne Maria-

Anne Maria's clothes were wet, but her hair still stood tall as she sat in the confessional. "Yeah, I go to the beach lots. It's the best place to model swimsuits y'know? And they ain't just for show either! The waters here are much nicer than the Bronx, I'll say that much."

-End Confessional-

Anne Maria furthered the lead that the Gulls had, passing by Vanessa on the way back as she was still swimming towards the raft. Vanessa got her shell from Ted's bucket, then tried to hurriedly swim back. "This is so stupid, why do they have all the good swimmers!?" Vanessa let out as she swam back, seeing Anne Maria already make it back to shore.

Anne Maria then regrouped with her team shortly after, getting a few small claps from everyone except Shane. "I'll head off next, hopefully I don't cost us too much of our lead." Jay said as he stepped off the mat and began to run.

Right away though, Jay tripped on a discard bag of chips on the sand and fell down. "Oh, guess this is where it goes south." Brava commented, wincing as she watched Jay fall.

Jay picked himself back up quickly though and didn't trip on the rest of the way to the water. As he entered the water, Vanessa had now regrouped with the Octopi. Arin ran off next, pumping a fist in the air as she ran. "For the Oddball Octopi! Pink Panda into action!" Arin shouted as she ran to the water.

Jay was halfway to the raft when Arin reached the water and began to swim, making him just a bit worried. "Go Jay go! You got this!" Mickey cheered his brother on, sending plenty confident in him despite the rest of the team feeling the opposite.

Jay reached the raft and Oliver let him reach in to grab a shell, only for Jay to yelp in pain. "Oww! Pricked my finger!" Jay let out as he then grabbed the shell with his other hand, since his left hand that he tried to grab the shell with was now bleeding from his thumb.

Jay still tried to swim back as fast as he could, but was hindered by his left hand being in pain. A bit after he left, Arin reached the raft and reached into Ted's bucket, quickly getting a shell out. "Thank you citizen! Your service is appreciated!" Arin told Ted and then swam off.

"Yeah... whatever." Ted replied in monotone, completely apathetic to the teams.

Arin began to catch up to Jay, and she arrived at shore just after he did, with them regrouping with their teams at the same time. "And the teams are even again! It's still anyone's game! Who do you think is gonna take it Bridge?" Geoff narrated, then looked to Bridgette.

"I don't know Geoff, I think it's too early to call! We'll see who goes next!" Bridgette narrated after him, looking at both teams.

Arin tagged in Mitzy, although Mitzy handed her sketchbook over her. "Just hold onto it okay? Don't want it to get wet!" Mitzy requested and then took off.

Shane went for the Gulls, and the two reached the water at around the same time. Shane was the more athletic of the two though, so he started to pull ahead rather easily. "It's okay Mitzy! Just keep going!" Arin cheered her friend on despite Shane going faster.

Shane reached the raft, with Mitzy somewhat keeping pace and arriving just seconds after him. "You're doing great Mitz!" Oliver encouraged Mitzy, which bothered Shane as he arrived.

"Hey, let me get my shell." Shane snapped a finger at the intern, which prompted Oliver to hold out the bucket. "Right, sorry sir." Oliver apologized.

Mitzy got her shell from Ted and swam away as well, still doing her best to keep up with Shane and relatively succeeding. Irene was manning the camera on the raft, capturing the other angle of the challenge, although she looked to Oliver for a moment. "Hey, Chrith said we aren't thupposed to get too close to the conteshtants remember?" Irene reminded him.

"Well he isn't here, and cheering them on doesn't hurt does it?" Oliver reasoned, sitting down on the edge of the raft and just waiting for the next Gull to come.

Ted just shrugged, not caring about the contestants that much. "It doesn't matter much either. Why cheer them on? Not like we get anything out of it." Ted gave his take, making Oliver frown.

Shane and Mitzy were neck and neck, with them both arriving at their team mats at the same time, albeit with Mitzy much more exhausted. "Way to go Mitzy!" Arin praised Mitzy, handing her back her sketchbook.

Jo nodded in agreement. "Gotta say, I expected less. Not bad." Jo gave her compliment as well, while Monica then began to run to the water.

Shane arrived, getting an annoyed look from Anne Maria. "What was that? You let the drawy nerd keep up with ya!" Anne Maria criticized him angrily.

"She's faster than I thought, we're still fine." Shane replied, crossing his arms.

Petunia shook her head, pointing at his forehead. "Your head isn't wet at all, not from water or sweat. Mitzy is exhausted, you're not, you just didn't- ow!" Petunia let out as Shane threw his shell at her head.

This brief pain made her let out some spray out of surprise, which made everyone gag or just plug their noses as the smell hit them. "I'll get a lead for us, don't worry!" Brick assured his team as he ran off, mostly to get away from the smell.

-Confessional: Gallant Gulls: Mickey-

Mickey unrolled some of the toilet paper and blew his nose into it, his nose looking rather red now. "I think I'm allergic to skunks, or maybe just their spray. Either way, I think I might have to avoid you Petunia. It's nothing personal!"

-End Confessional-

Despite Monica's slight head start, Brick easily passed her up and reached the water first, swimming at great speed and reaching the raft very quickly. "Crap... they still had Brick..." Vanessa muttered to herself as she watched Brick gain a lead quickly.

Brick wasn't looking where he was swimming though and ended up slamming his face on the raft as he arrived. "Ow!" he let out, but didn't let it get to him. He just grabbed a shell from Oliver's bucket, then swam just as fast back to shore while Monica was still on her way to the raft.

As Monica reached the raft, Brick reached the shore and began to run towards his team, although they were all still trying to ward away Petunia's stench by waving their hands. "Nice one Brick! I think we got this!" Petunia complimented Brick as she then took off to get her shell next.

Petunia stepped into the water and swam right off the bat, while Monica was just now reaching the shore. "You won't be beating us! We're not done yet!" Monica swore to Petunia as she passed by.

Monica regrouped with the Octopi, tagging Mike in. "Okay, here goes!" Mike said to himself as he began to run towards the water.

Petunia was already halfway there by the time Mike reached the water. He didn't have any changes to himself though, he just dove into the water and swam normally, albeit a bit faster than Petunia was going. "C'mon! Bring out Svetlana or something!" Caleb shouted, slightly worried they'd lose if he didn't switch.

Petunia got her shell and began to swim back, although she was clearly uncomfortable as she swam through the beach water. "Ew ew ew..." she murmured to herself as she swam, trying to get through this as quickly as possible.

Mike reached the raft later on and got his shell, still not switching personalities as he began to swim back to shore at a good pace. Petunia reached land and regrouped with her team, eyes widened with panic. "What's wrong Petunia?" Zoey asked her, not seeing the problem.

Mickey ran off as Zoey asked this, while Petunia pulled out her sanitizer and began to rub it all over herself. "Beach water is so gross, I just need to clean myself up NOW. Fish pee in it, kids pee in it, it's nature's toilet pretty much!" Petunia answered as she rubbed her sanitizer over.

Mike reached shore, with Mickey stepping into the water and swimming just after that. "Oh great, Caleb, you better not lose this!" Mike told Caleb, narrowing his eyes at the little boy as he stepped onto the mat.

"Oh I won't! This wimp doesn't stand a chance against me!" Caleb declared as he ran for the water.

-Confessional: Oddball Octopi: Caleb-

Caleb had a cocky grin on his face as he looked at the camera, sitting with his arms crossed. "My team isn't giving me enough credit honestly. They think that I, the winner of last season, won't pull a win in the first challenge? C'mon, give some credit where it's due! I'm not a child, I can win these things!"

-End Confessional-

Mickey was swimming as fast as he could, although Caleb was catching up to him at a decent pace. "Get ready to be the first boot on your first day here!" Caleb taunted Mickey as he caught up.

Mickey reached the bucket and grabbed his shell, with Caleb doing so just seconds later. "Hey! Don't count me out so quickly! I don't have the best luck, but umm... I'll get back to you on that!" Mickey couldn't think of a comeback, so he just began to swim back to shore and try to block out Caleb.

Caleb had a little trouble reaching into the bucket because of how short he was, but he was soon swimming back to shore as well, coming up behind Mickey again. "Beat that wimp Caleb! You're almost there!" Vanessa cheered Caleb on.

Mickey got out of the water first, with Caleb right behind him. Caleb was shorter, so Mickey was running just a little faster than him. "Mickey almost has it, he's just gotta step on the mat and he's won it!" Geoff narrated.

"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Caleb proclaimed, then threw his shell at Mickey.

Despite being a tiny little seashell, it was still able to send Mickey to the sand by just hitting him in the back of the head. "A dirty play from Caleb, looks like Mickey won't be taking it after all!" Bridgette narrated as Caleb ran over to Mickey and grabbed his shell, then ran to his mat.

Caleb stood on the red mat with the rest of the Octopi as Mickey stood up, to which Geoff pulled out an airhorn and blew. "Woo! Always wanted to use one of these! Anyway, the Oddball Octopi win the first challenge of the season!" Geoff announced, making the Octopi except for Lucien cheer while the Gulls let out stifled groans since they were still plugging their noses.

Bridgette walked over to the Gulls, then pointed further down the beach to the west with her thumb. "You guys will be staying in the green hut further that way, and we'll see you at the elimination ceremony tonight. We have a whole set up a bit past your huts, so at least it'll be a cool ceremony? Better luck next time." Bridgette told them, while Geoff let the Octopi know where they were staying.

-Confessional: Oddball Octopi: Monica-

Monica looked a bit worried, having one hand on her cheek. "I'm glad we won, but I feel a bit bad for Mickey and Jay. They just got here, and I don't think this day was a good first showing for them. At least if one goes, I'll still have the other?"

-End Confessional-

The walk to the huts was pretty awkward for the Gulls, with Brick just marching solemnly with Brava right behind him. Mickey and Jay were comforting each other as they walked, Anne Maria was still spraying herself, Petunia was cleaning herself off still, with little communication between any of them. "Do we talk about who we're sending home tonight?" Petunia asked, looking at her fellow teammates.

Brava looked back at her and shook her head. "I think it's obvious who we'll vote for. Not in a planning mood anyway. Let's just let what happens happen." Brava told her, then didn't say anything after that.

Zoey was walking by herself at the back of the team, just sticking to what Brava had just told them. It was pretty obvious to her at least. Shane then slowed down to walk side by side with her, giving her a friendly wave. "Hey Zoey, I know you're new here, so you need some allies right?" Shane asked her quietly.

Zoey perked up and looked towards Shane, nodding her head. "Umm, yeah? I was hoping more for friends than 'allies' though. That sounds schemy." Zoey replied.

"We can be friends then. Just vote with me tonight okay? You're the new girl on the block, so it'll be easy for these guys to just cut you guilt free. I don't want to see you go down like that since you seem nicer and more helpful than a few of our members." Shane proposed, keeping his voice down and still walking slowly to put some distance between him and Zoey and the rest of the team.

Zoey raised an eyebrow, a little suspicious. "They would do that? Brick wouldn't do that, he's so nice. But you really think they would?" Zoey argued, not seeing the team like that.

Shane nodded his head. "Yeah, Brava probably didn't want us to talk about the vote publicly so she could get Brick's vote in private. Anne Maria is pretty petty too. Last time I tried to stand up to the bullies last season, they booted me for it. So we need to stick together before they pick us off. Okay?" Shane explained to her.

Zoey thought about it for a moment, then nodded slowly. "I guess you're right... I'll vote with you as a friend then. See you tonight Shane." Zoey quietly agreed, then walked ahead of him.

-Confessional: Gallant Gulls: Shane-

Shane put his hands behind his head and whistled, having a calm look. "Zoey was too easy. She made it way too obvious that she's desperate for friends. I'll keep her around, but as soon as she starts getting friendly with others, I'll dump her. I was on par with Mitzy today, and that definitely drew some attention on me, but I think I'll easily slip by still. There are bigger targets tonight."

-End Confessional-

Later that night, the 8 members of the Gallant Gulls were gathered at the elimination ceremony set up on the beach. There were a few garlands with green neon lanterns hanging from them, and the Gulls were sitting in two rows of folding chairs. In the front row sat Jay, Mickey, Brick, and Brava, while in the back row sat Anne Maria, Petunia, Shane, and Zoey. There was a fire pit in front of them that was fully burning, while Geoff and Bridgette stood on the other side next to a cooler. "Welcome to your first elimination ceremony Gulls, sorry that one of you will have to be leaving on your first day here." Bridgette greeted the team.

Some nervous looks were exchanged, but no one voiced their worries just yet. "For this season, we've got some soda here for you guys! Straight from the cooler here, if you get a can, you're safe!" Geoff told them, pulling a red can of cola out of the cooler.

Bridgette picked up a small box from the ground, showing it to the team. "You guys already voted in the ballot box who you wanted to eliminate, so whoever gets the most votes is eliminated. Then the Bus of Losers is waiting on the street for whoever is eliminated." Bridgette added.

Everyone looked back, seeing a blue bus with Chris's face on it waiting to take someone home. Geoff tossed Bridgette the first can, leaving cooler open so he could grab more. "Soda cans of safety go to..."

"Anne Maria."

Anne Maria got a proud smirk as she was tossed her can first, glad to be safe right off the bat.

"Brick."

Brick sighed with relief as he was tossed his can. "We'll do better next time, I know we will." Brick assured his team as he cracked open the can.

"Brava."

Brava didn't react at all, just catching her can as Geoff now was throwing them. She cracked it open, then silently took a sip.

"Shane."

Shane was fully expecting to be safe, so he just held a hand up and caught his can.

...

"Zoey."

Zoey also sighed with relief, smiling at Shane as she caught her can. "Thanks!" she whispered to him as she opened her soda.

...

...

"Jay."

Jay tried to catch his can, although it ended up hitting him in the face and making him fall back in his chair. "I'm okay!" he told everyone as he got back up and sat upright in his chair again.

That left the bottom 2 now, Mickey and Petunia. Mickey sighed in resignation, while Petunia clenched both fists nervously. Geoff tossed Bridgette the final can, and she looked at the bottom two with slight grief, as well as some empathy. "Mickey, Petunia, I think you both know why you're here, so I won't make this any more hard for you both. The final can of the night goes to..."

"Mickey."

Mickey gasped with delighted surprise as he was tossed the final soda can, although he didn't catch it either and was hit in the stomach. "Ow... phew." Mickey let out with relief.

Petunia was stunned, standing up from her seat and looking at the rest of her former teammates. "Huh? Me? Not Mickey? Not Jay? Eliminate me over the ones that made us lose? That doesn't make sense!" Petunia right away called out the obvious with her elimination.

Shane pinched his nose, keeping his smile hidden. "The twins stink at challenges, but you just stink period, don't think we forgot the racism. Not worth keeping you around at all." Shane told her.

Petunia sighed, then stepped out of her row of folding chairs. "Hey, I know how it feels to be eliminated over a smell. Don't take it personally." Bridgette told Petunia, feeling bad for her.

Petunia scratched the back of her head, looking down at the sand for a moment. "I guess I should have seen that coming. I just thought I'd be able to last a little bit in this state. Oh well, good luck in the rest of the challenges I guess. Jerks." Petunia told her ex-team, then walked to the loser bus with her hands in her hoodie pocket.

Petunia stepped inside the bus, and it then sped off. Geoff looked at the rest of the Gulls, who were currently enjoying their soda. "Well guys, that's it really. You can head back to your huts, we've got a wicked party for you all tomorrow though, so stay hyped dudes!" Geoff directed them all, pointing to the east in the direction of their huts.

One by one, all of the Gulls got up from their seats and began to head that way, while Bridgette walked over to Geoff's side and faced the camera. "Well that was a good first showing wasn't it Geoff?" Bridgette asked him.

Geoff nodded. "Sure was Bridge, and we've got plenty more in store for the audience next time on Total, Drama, Malibu!" Geoff raised one arm with each of the season name words, ending the episode swiftly.

Author's Note:

Hey everyone, TDFan here, and yeah, took a small break from this cast, but here we are! I've been wanting to write Geoff and Bridgette in hosting roles for a while now, and this felt like the perfect place to do it. This obviously takes place after TD Reloaded, but before Revenge of the Film Lot. This'll just be a 13 episode season, and I'm mainly doing this season since there were a good amount of storylines that weren't quite finished after Reloaded, and I won't be able to finish them all during All Stars, so I'll be wrapping up the ones I want to here. As for Petunia, she was popular, but I couldn't really think of a storyline to give her that wouldn't cut off like three others, so first boot it was, just to show how serious Shane is now.

Zoey is here now, mostly since Mike had his time on his own, and I really wanted Zoey to feel lonely upon joining rather than just instantly being friends with everyone and taking away the core part of her backstory right away. Jay and Mickey are also here, because they seemed fun to write. Sometimes that's all you need to want to bring someone right? The rest of the cast was chosen via a popularity poll in our Discord server (join code is on profile if you wanna join the fun), and the top 13 were put in the season. Except for Dawn who Jo subbed in for, and if you read Reloaded, you'd know why. Let me know what you guys thought in the reviews, and I'll see you all next time! Have a great day!
