It was Akechi, but it wasn't. The monster's skin was the chaotic pattern of white and black, yet it's face was that of the detective, covered by that unnerving black mask. Clutched in its hand was Loki's glowing sword, swinging wildly toward Izuku. He could feel the Justice arcana pulse in his chest as he fought, telling him that this really was his friend. Yet his real senses told him anything but that, this wasn't Akechi, whatever it was, the only emotions left were those of Loki's maddening abilities.

"Fascinating, isn't it?" A voice spoke from... somewhere. It was calm, yet invoked a great fear in Izuku. "I was led to it by our mutual... acquaintance. Though you have yet to see his true form. I must thank you Izuku, you've led me to a power far greater than any I've possessed before. I suppose you could say... you've allowed me to remove the mask that has held me back for so long."

Izuku had spent a lot of time contemplating what Lavenza had told them of Nyarlathotep, but now he understood more than ever. A Persona manifested when someone excepted the truth about themselves, but the opposite was true for this man. Yu had told Izuku that his brother was sadistic and malevolent, refusing to answer to anyone. Whoever this was, it was no longer Mugen Narukami.

His thoughts were pulled back to the real world as a blast of dark light shattered part of the mountain. Kota had ran, leaving Izuku free to blast Loki with bless attacks, despite it being the Persona's weakness, it didn't seem to cause any lasting damage to the monster. "You may find he is more resilient than your previous engagements, I have vastly improved his capabilities. Its incredible how some simple absorption and regeneration quirks can amplify a beings power." The man chuckled as he spoke.

A particularly heavy blow flew over Izuku's head, it was only once he dodged that he saw the kick the feint had obscured. "Lucy, One-shot-kill!" The attack never landed as Loki was slammed into the rock wall of the mountain, held there by a prison of ice.

"Ah, there you all are." The Thieves jolted in surprise as the voice spoke. "For mere teenagers I must say I'm impressed, not many take down a God in there first year of fighting. Still, your interruption of my- our plans is at an end." With an inhumane screech, Loki burst from Yusuke's trap, diving toward the group.

Aigis regretted not following the rest of the Thieves. She was no where near as close to them as the original SEES, but it was still her desire to help those she could. It's what he would have wanted, it's what she has been doing for the last century and a half after all. Not that she wasn't doing that by facing the other villains, but she felt she could do more. So when a bright flash of light sends something flying from the cliff side, she rushes to the place where the form landed.

What she finds is some kind of hideous combination of shadow and man, the Thieves were nearby observing the unmoving form. "How? That was designed to face you specifically, you should not have-" The sound of whispering came from the same place as the voice, though is was not understandable. "Of course, very well, if you wish to make this so difficult."

For the duration of the night, the moon had provided a soft light to the forest, but as the teens looked up, the moon's light disappeared under a purple fog, rising as a dome to cover kilometres of forest in seconds. One moment, they stood in a half burning nature reserve, the next, they were not.

"This is certainly a strange situation." The reporter spoke over the sounds of the helicopter she stood within. "Hundreds of burning debris, along with fighting heroes, villains and shadows have suddenly appeared within Kamino Ward. Stop!" She called to the pilot. "Do you see that, down there? That villain in the suit, could he perhaps be behind this?"

Radio waves fed All For One the reporters words, a combination of mental quirks easily drawing her attention towards the roof top he stood upon, along with the teen across from him. "I am curious, before I kill you, is my new power enough to overwhelm you, brother?" In a flash, his hand was on the boy's forehead, pulling his quirk into his own.

Then, he wasn't on the roof, but within his coliseum, staring up at the floating castle that had appeared in the sky. Chains shot from around the arena, wrapping around the castle and dragging it toward the ground. The building's doors banged once, twice, before smashing, realising nine figures into a free fall. Two in particular were faster than the others, one sparking with green lighting, while the other glowed gold. One with a dagger and the other with a katana.

"As foolish as ever, in this world, I'm not restricted by my body's limits." His right arm raised to meet his foes, bulging with power as his quirks came to life. "Air cannon, inferno, oxygen manipulation, oxygen generator, spring-like limbs, temperature fluctuations, heat condenser." A torrent of fire shot from his arm, matching Endeavour's in its power. He smirked, this would be easie-

"Satan, Ice age!" A mountain of ice blocked his attack, barely giving him time to dodge before he was crushed. In front of him, was Midoriya, mask off, Persona floating behind him. "You said it yourself, in this world, we aren't restricted by our bodies' limits." A sonic boom rocked the coliseum as he shot forwards at speeds his body shouldn't have been able to handle.

"All For One!" All Might's fist shot toward the villain's head, but was stopped as a glowing barrier appeared centimetres from the villain.

"I'm afraid your brute force can't get you through this, Yagi." A snake, blue and gold, with a head the size of All Might, appeared above the three, diving down to consume the hero. He was quick to dodge and retaliate, but the serpent barely flinched from the blow.

"I take it you are Nyarlathotep." Toshinori backed off as the serpent began to speak, he needed as much time as possible to plan.

"That is a name I have been given, but it is far from the only one. To know who I truly am, understand that there is no point in living! Cry, that there is no answer! Where there is darkness, there are shadows! I, myself, am all you humans!" In an instant, the snake vanished, replaced by a grey humanoid form wearing a golden crown and moved through the air by red wings.

The creature dashed forth, its fist clashing with All Might's, resulting in the two limbs coming to a stand still. "It doesn't matter to me if you draw upon the power of the whole of the human race, you've dragged innocent children into this and for that I'll stop you. If your power comes from people's dark thoughts, then I'll just have to make sure those thoughts never have a reason to come. The people of the world will forget anything about the things you want, because when they look upon me and realise that I am here, they'll know they don't need to be like you!"

The force behind Toshinori's fist increased, sending Nyarlathotep sliding back. "Just like Philemon, such a pain. You've always been such a positive force in people's minds, it's time I wiped that out!" He shifted forms again, this time to an unassuming looking American man, with jet-black short hair, a short moustache and light blue eyes. With a flick of his wrist, several strands of lightning shot towards All Might, though they were not fast enough to stop the hero dodging.

With All Might distracted, Nyarlathotep exploded into a mass of tentacles, dotted with blue spots containing masks. The Crawling Chaos leapt forth, though it did not get far before its body was littered with explosives.

In reality, Izuku's statement was more of a bluff than anything. He could use his previously gathered Persona, as well as One For All, but that was only because of All For One's subconscious. The man was scared of One For All users, the only thing he could say for certain that would scare the Demon Lord.

His punch had sent Mugen back several meters, from which Yu had dashed by with a combination of the previous user's quirks, slashing a large gash through his brother's side. A healing quirk quickly dealt with the wound, allowing Mugen to rush forward and counterattack. "Spring-like limbs, Strength Enhancer times four, Kinetic Enhancer times three." His fist was aimed for Izuku, though it was quickly caught. But that wasn't right, that combo should have had far more power than that.

"Looking for this, brother?" Yu appeared to his right, the muscles in his arm physically coiled, like a spring. The punch shot forward, sending Mugen to the other side of the arena.

His worries were not over however, as a flash of white light streaked through the air, colliding with him as he heard the shout: "Lucifer, Morning Star!" Searing pain took over his body, forcing his vision up into the sky. What he saw, made him growl with anger.

The vestiges of One For All, speeding from their castle to the seats of his arena, pulling the audience up out of All For One. They were taking his quirks, his collection. The pain ceased as the attack faded, freeing his arm to point toward the nearest half-dead hero. "Laser Bullet, Light manipulation, Kinetic Enhancer times three." Beams of light struck toward the vestige, but were interrupted as Yu flew into their path, deflecting them with a swing of his katana.

His brother shot forwards, his body ignoring inertia entirely as his sword aimed to pierce Mugen. The villain caught the blade, but could do nothing about the eight blows that followed from the figure behind Yu, the words "Hassou Tobi" lost under the sounds of ripping flesh. Before he could retaliate, Izuku's palm hit his spine, the strike empowered by the blast of air that followed it.

He was sent tumbling through the air, coming face to face with his now floating brother: "It's over Mugen." The card within his hands was ripped in two. "I'll remove the monster that has corrupted you, with the Myraid Truths!" The attack Izuku had launched previously had been painful, but this, this was agonising. It could have lasted seconds, minutes or maybe even hours, but when it was over Mugen was kneeling in a puddle of his own blood, watched by his two foes.

"You... you think this is over, no." He staggered to his feet: "Oafs like All Might love to scream their moves, well why don't I show you my own. This is what happens when my power is unchained."

"This is the True Demon Lord's Form!"

Panting heavily, the man leapt another rooftop, growing ever closer to the chaos of the fighting. He had promised himself never to use this power again, but if it was too protect them then it was worth it. They had all changed his entire world view, in more ways then one, and he couldn't be anymore grateful. Before he had abused his power, used it to take away what made people themselves. Before he was a mindless God, but Izuku had changed that, all them had enlightened him to the truths of their collective power.

As he leapt the last gap, he felt that collective power, not the power to impose his will on others, but to give them a chance to help themselves. To lead them to a river, but not force them to drink. A new strength, no, his original strength came to him, his shout drawing All Might's- along with the Thieves'- gaze toward him: "Bodhisattva!"

The figure that appeared above him was androgynous, floating in a cross legged position, as if meditating. The Persona's eyes snapped open, one was bright orange, like the sun, while the other glowed a dull white, spots of grey revealing its resemblance to the moon. It rose an arm in a diagonal line, a line of light streaking forward into Nyarlathotep. That snapped the Thieves out of their stupor, shouting in surprise at the new fighter, Sumire the loudest of all.

"Doctor Maruki!"

The Thieves has arrived not long before Takuto, and with his assistance, Nyarlathotep was starting to lose ground. All Might's punches were knocking him back ever so slightly more, and his various forms grew more tired with each use. Not that it mattered, killing these few would be beneficial, but not necessarily. All he needed to do was keep the forcefield up, not to wait for All For One to win, no, to wait for the opposite.

The transformation Mugen had undergone was immense, his skin was now a mix of metal and stone, dotted with other materials. His form towered above the arena, easily taller than the largest of skyscrapers. Six arms, unnaturally long, hung from his back, shifting between various weapons. His face was an amalgamation of every animal Izuku had ever seen, the most terrifying of which was the hundreds of glowing red eyes that lined the top half of his face. The seven vestiges (Yagi apparently hadn't been in Izuku's One For All long enough to fight) were forced to scatter as Mugen's maw opened, a giant laser firing from both it and his crimson eyes.

Conventional attacks wouldn't do anything against Mugen's colossal form, Izuku needed to match that form, or they wouldn't get anywhere. Which is when he recalled the last time he had fought within a distortion of the mind, and the power the last God of control had unleashed.

As Izuku thought of his plan, Yu had looped round, drawing the attention of his enraged brother. He dodged several attacks, before grinning as he saw the attack headed straight for All For One. A giant fist slammed into his brother's back, sending him off balance. The fist drew back to the gargantuan form of Satanael, his previously red eyes replaced with Izuku's green, from which the boy's voice came: "Improvised super move: Lupin form!"

Growling in rage, Mugen threw forth two arms, spheres of fire launched from his palms. The attacks hit Izuku directly, but simply vanished as he dashed towards the Demon Lord: "Absorb and release, Spring-like limbs, One For All." The attack brought Mugen to the floor, where he was attacked by a white light forming into a serpent. He wrestled the Black Viper off of him, but turned his back to Izuku in the process. By the time he had turned again, the gun was level to his chest, and the fight was over with two words:

"Sinful Shell."

"What did you do?"

"Nothing, in fact it is your precious Joker who has acted, and with his actions, there is nothing left for this world but ruin."

Nezu paused the news feed as Nyarlathotep faded to flames, and looked towards the teen that sat across from him. "And All For One's death?"

"The vestiges said they couldn't let him live, Yu told me to clear out the quirks we had taken while they took care of it. He wasn't a good person but..."

"I'm afraid I'm not the person to talk to about that Izuku, nor is there anytime too. Recovery Girl has determined the short amount of time you possessed those quirks wasn't enough to deal permanent damage. All we can do now is wait for the commission to come for you. You know what to say, yes?"

His pupil shrugged: "Not the first arrest I've gotten out off."

"That's hardly a positive thing. Before you go, I've a present I'd like the hero commission to have." On queue, the door to Nezu's office was kicked in, revealing several guards alongside the president of the commission. "Right on time! Though I will have to bill you for that, that wood is rather expensive."

"Shit, shit, shit." The President hyperventilated as she poured over the files, occasionally glancing up towards the window that led to the interrogation room. The rat had to have been behind this, the leader of the Phantom Thieves was smart, but not this so. He couldn't have known about the previous cover up of AFO, not to the extent the commission had acted. All files on him had been purged upon his fight with All Might, including anything to do with his birth.

If they couldn't prove that All For One was a real person, then they couldn't prove Izuku had killed him. It got worse, because of course it did. Whatever All For One had done in that fight, it had stressed his body so much that there was no trace of human DNA within, it reeked of the rat's tampering, but nothing concrete pointed it towards Nezu.

Once she was called by the prime minister himself, informing her that he couldn't allow her to hold the teen without any evidence, she knew it was over. She watched the boy leaven with spite in her eyes, nearly crushing the USB stick he had left behind in her slowly tightening grip. Was this it? All her effort gone to waste? Growling she returned to her office. Surely he had realised he couldn't escape, and so left whatever was on this drive as a bargaining chip, yes, that must have been it.

As Izuku stood within the accelerating train, he smiled to himself. He couldn't say that he was at peace with Mugen's death, but it was likely necessary. In the end, his friends were fine, and whatever trap Nyarlathotep had laid was circumvented by Nezu's swift thinking. All in all, this was far from the worst it could have gone, far from as bad as it had been in the past.

"Indeed." He jolted in surprise as the new voice spoke, it southed him as it spoke, something about it was intuitively associated with tranquility within Izuku's mind. Its tone caused the World Arcana to pulse peacefully, revealing to Izuku who this was. "You have evaded the corruption that befalls humanity. You are living proof of your kinds' ability to endure. Congratulations Midoriya, continue on this path and all shall be well in the end... and remember:

I am you, you are me, I will be watching over you, always." With that, Philemon vanished, marking the end of Izuku's second Fool's journey.

And d- Wait, not quite:

The President scowled as she looked at the image before her, a video of principal Nezu, smiling smugly as he shifted his feet to a strangely catchy song: "We're no strangers to love, you know the ru-" A loud cry of anger rang out as the screen flew through the office window, miles away, the Rat God smiled at the shout that reached his ears:

"Damn you Nezu!"

Done! I'm super happy with how this turned out, even if it was definitely iffy in a few places. I hope it was enjoyable to read, as I definitely enjoyed reading it. I do have other fics if you'd like to read them, though I doubt there's a huge crossover between Persona fans, Miraculous Ladybug fans and Doom fans.

If you like pure MHA stuff than I'm doing a New Order focused fic next, while working on a multiverse fic that was half requested and is half my ideas. That said, if you have any advice or any requests than I'm happy to answer any PMs.

Thanks for the support and I hope to see you on some of my other stories!
