Chiaki yawned, stretching as she rose from her bed as she looked at the time. "1 PM…? Definitely slept in…" She giggled as she hopped in the shower shortly after.
Once she finished, Chiaki got herself dressed with a soft hum as she walked out of her room to see Yang groggily walking by with a yawn.
"Morning, Yang… er… afternoon." She giggled.
"Mornin'..." Yang yawned. "Gods, a power nap and I'm still exhausted? How the hell do you do it? Do an all nighter and wake up in the afternoon feeling refreshed?"
"You get used to it." Chiaki smiled and walked off, making herself some lunch and happily ate where she received a text.
"Hey, you got a minute?" - Futaba
"What's up?"
"Meet me up at the cafe. I've asked everyone else to come, tired as they may be."
"Fine by me. I'll be there in a flash."
Chiaki immediately teleported over to Sojiro's, Elfilin and BB-8 tagging along as well. "Futaba? Huh, strange, she's not he-"
The door opened up as Chiaki turned her head, and took a step back in surprise. "What the?!"
Standing at the door was Ryuji, decked out in a security guard attire, complete with sunglasses and a radio over his ears. "Area secure. We have a friendly!" He said. "...But is she friendly enough?"
Immediately, Ryuji got up close and personal, immediately checking her out.
"Sakamato, what are you- WAH!" She yelped as Ryuji patted her down as a massive blush appeared on her face.
"She's clean. I repeat, she's clea-"
He received a harsh elbow to his diaphragm. "Gah!' He immediately went down for the count, wheezing.
"Pardon my language, but what the hell are you doing?" Chiaki asked.
"He thinks that because I'm the Winter Maiden, I need protection." A voice said as Futaba walked in. "Honestly, I'm fine but he thinks he wants to be secret service." She rolled her eyes.
"J-Just looking-" Ryuji coughed. "-O-Out for you…! Man, do you eat iron for lunch? That elbow's sharp!"
"I can't necessarily blame him." Makoto walked in. "You essentially have a target on your back. That said, he's being a bit over the top."
"Sheesh, can't a guy be in the moment…" Ryuji grumbled.
"I'm aware that I have a target on my back as far as Salem is concerned… but I'd rather spend my time living my life and not being absolutely paranoid."
Makoto softly smiled. "I wasn't worried." She said as everyone else walked in either groggily or perked up. Though Kazuya was noticeably absent.
"So, what'd you call us up here for?" Samus asked while stretching her arms.
"Well…" Futaba pulled the Staff from her back. "I wasn't sure if I wanted to talk to the being inside of this with all of you or just myself. I decided to do it with all of you."
"Awww…" Ruby smiled. "Well, on the bright side, we now have two of the relics. Which reminds me-" She looked at Edelgard. "Where's Morgan? Didn't you bring her with you?"
"The Sword of Destruction is back where I live, heavily guarded by my own magic." Edelgard explained. "Hubert added some stuff of his own, but Morgan is well taken care of. It's next to impossible to break her out when I'm away. She also mentioned she doesn't mind being heavily guarded."
Edelgard smiled. "I do take her around my kingdom every once in a while, just so she can get some fresh air."
"Giving a sword fresh air, huh? Being an empress sure has changed you." Dimitri teased.
Edelgard snickered. "I never thought about it either."
"Alright…" Futaba held the staff close to her. "Let's see who resides in this staff… if there's anyone in it."
She took a deep breath and raised it up to the ceiling. "Anyone in there, please come out!" She requested where everything outside of Sojiro's started to slow down before coming to a halt, and then Ambrosius appeared before them.
"Haaaaaaaaah! Ah, it feels good to be out of there!" He said as he looked down. "Sup, name's Ambrosius. You must be the new Winter Maiden."
"Oh. My. God… that's a friggin' Ken doll." Kate said in shock. …Not to mention totally cute!
"Hubba hubba…" Anna said, a small blush on her face while Elsa had to fan herself while blushing. Wait, no! You're dating Kristoff, you bonehead!
"Y-Yeah, name's Futaba. Nice to meet you."
"I'm gonna be honest, it's a nice change of pace to be with actually good folk."
"You know we're on the good side?"
"But of course! You stopped a brainiac from destroying Remnant. That's pretty good in my book, thank you very much." He said. "Besides, a massive giant deadly space station along with an amusement park and those robot machines he created? Talk about a little cuckoo in the brain… and that last creation, a flying egg… the Egg Atlas or whatever? I was so fed up with him, I secretly added a mechanic where it completely overheats when he fired that massive energy beam. Totally didn't see that coming!"
"Wait! So it wasn't Eggman who came up with that… it was all you?" Akira asked.
"Precisely! I don't normally go against those who ask me to make something for them, but considering Remnant was close to annihilation, I decided to, shall we say, bend the rules a bit."
Suddenly, they heard snickering before a genuine laugh was heard in the room as they turned to see Kyoko actually laughing.
"He had you in the palm of his hands and you actually went against him?! Oh goodness, that's incredible!" She giggled before stopping with a soft sigh with a smile. "Gods, I needed that…"
"I haven't heard you laugh like that like… ever." Aoi said before smiling.
"Hang on just a moment." Laxus spoke up. "You said you created the Death Egg before creating everything else. According to my grandfather, you're only able to build one at a time."
"Ah, yes… apparently the Chaos Emeralds that he gave to me somehow messed around with my powers. Instead of one, I can create multiple things at once without the original disappearing. It got to the point where anything that was originally created, I can just snap away if I wanted to. And since the Death Egg landed somewhere far away from the Mushroom Kingdom, let alone away from civilization, what's the point in doing away with it? Unless you want me to."
"No no, it's fine. Maybe some people can use the scrap metal for parts and for beneficial purposes." Futaba said.
"Not to mention it's in No Man's Land, AKA the Lost Levels, so we should be okay." Ibuki said. "Where'd it land anyway?"
"At a place called, ah… City of Nil, I believe." Ambrosius said.
"Oh… El Cinco's not going to like that…" Chiaki frowned. "Though, maybe he can relocate here…"
"El who?" Ann wondered.
"Oh, right, I'll tell you later." Chiaki giggled.
"So, now that I'm with you folks. Anything you want made? I can create anything I want with the snap of my fingers just like that!"
"You seem like the type who likes to have a lot of details." Futaba said.
"Well, duh. I'd like to have a vivid description of what I'm trying to make."
"If we think of something, we'll let you know."
"Allllrighty then! Until then, take care!" Ambrosius said as he went back into the staff.
At that moment, everything outside went back to normal.
"Huh, how about that." Sojiro mused.
"You might want to keep him in a safe spot, just in case." Edelgard said. "Just so someone doesn't snag it to use for evil." She said, side glancing Bowser.
"What are you looking at me for? I'd rather kidnap Peach, not take something that can help you make anything just like that. I'd rather be creative, not lazy!"
"I heard that!"
"Hmm? Sojiro, can you turn up the news real quick?" Erza requested.
"Certainly." Sojiro turned up the volume.
"I'm still genuinely completely baffled by what had just transpired. We were minutes away from Remnant being destroyed only to be hijacked by octopus people where they gave us a boost of energy from their songs… and now here we are, alive and well."
"It truly is crazy, isn't it, Lisa?"
"Indeed. But now we go to you live at what remains of Argus. Steven, you're live."
At Argus…
"Thank you Lisa. It's truly been a weird turn of events. I used to grow up in Argus before I moved to Vale, and it's honestly heartbreaking to see that your childhood home has been reduced to rubble. Unfortunately, we can't go any further because the radioactive activity over here is off the charts, so I have to mourn the loss of my home from afar-"
A young woman wearing a hazmat suit walked away from the crater.
"-And it seems a young woman has emerged from the crater, seemingly mourning her old home. Tell me, young lady. How heartbroken are you?"
"It's pretty heartbreaking."
"Indeed. What do you have in your hand?"
"Oh, a tape measure. I was just taking some measurements."
"Over what?"
"Ooooh, nothing important~!" The woman grabbed the microphone. "HIT IT, PHOSPHORA!"
"Who's Phosphor-"
They would see a massive flaming object heading straight for them.
"OH, NOW WHAT?!" The news anchor yelled as the large meteor slammed into the ground, creating a powerful explosion. Once the dust settled, they would see the land had been turned into a nature reserve.
"HUH?!"
"Alright, you're up!" The woman said as they would see Velvet walking on the scene and calling out her Shaymin, who immediately danced around the reserve and beautified it while also getting rid of the radioactivity.
At that moment, they would see Suicune running over and touching the water, purifying it as it turned crystal blue.
The woman turned to the stunned man as she removed her hazmat suit, revealing it to be none other than Viridi herself.
"People of Remnant, Argus has been changed into a nature reserve! Let this place be a memorial for those who have fallen in the Battle of Argus, let it be a memory for a once great city. Let it be a symbol of peace and a reminder of what that lousy Eggman did to Remnant! I, Viridi, the goddess of nature, has officially cleansed what he has done to Argus! May Argus continue on as a peaceful nature reserve!"
The anchor couldn't believe what he was seeing as he turned to Viridi in shock.
"WHAT THE FU-"
It changed back to Lisa Lavender who had her eye twitch in disbelief.
"What is going on with our world anymore?"
"Hmm…" Kyoko rubbed her chin in thought. An idea came to her. Maybe that's how I'll get him to answer.
"Well, we can rest easy…" Erza said. "Argus is now a nature reserve… but I'm not sure what we'll do with the survivors. I know Jaune's sister and sister-in-law have moved in at Toad Town… and I know Pyrrha's mother is staying here too. As for the rest of the survivors…"
"I can ask Peach if she could make an Argus District in Toad Town." Daisy spoke up. "I don't see Argus being rebuilt at that nature reserve any time soon."
Erza's eyes widened. "You… you actually think-"
"Well, yeah, I can bring it up to her if you'd like. I bet she'd be thrilled to approve it."
Erza smiled. "You have my gratitude, Princess Daisy."
"Nah, just call me Daisy. I'm totally chill." Daisy smiled, her hands behind her head with a grin.
"A princess… that's completely casual? Goodness, the royalty has changed over the past few centuries…" Erza mumbled to herself.
"Speaking of which, that does bring up where everyone might be staying temporarily." Blake said. "Of course, I know Seryu and Sheele are living with the Schnees."
"We hang out there all the time, it's all good." Seryu said.
"Indeed. We asked Willow before we came here and she was all for it." Sheele said.
"I'm staying with the Belladonnas!" Leone smiled.
"Aunt Yor offered me to stay at her home." Kurome said. "Of course, I'm having Wave and Akame tag along as well."
"Esdeath and I are staying at Nesta's. Unfortunately, Watts is tagging along…" Ironwood mumbled.
"Dad, you and him are going to have to make up eventually." Esdeath said. "I know you told me he's been an egotistical pain in the ass when I was older, but I don't care. That has not changed my opinion of him."
"He worked with Salem!"
"He didn't know her true motives. Believe me, I had a chat with him before we went to bed and he was saying he only did it because he thought she had something against you as well." Esdeath shook her head. "Now that he knew her true motives, he and Vanitas got out of there."
Chiaki turned her head to Vanitas who was casually drinking coffee while Aqua and Terra gave him the stink eye while Ven only had a down look on his face. Did she invite those two? I didn't see 'em come in… She thought.
"My family is staying with the Foxtrots for the time being. Logue is absolutely thrilled by this." Bols chuckled.
"I'd hope she would be." Shadow chuckled.
"Anyway, I know the Ace Ops are actually staying at Peach's Castle." Ironwood said. "She was more than happy to take them in."
"I… have some concerns with Harriet in there…" Nyx said.
"Wait, all of that was figured out?" Blake asked with a sweatdrop. "...Okay, so that just leaves Bulat, Lubbock, Najenda and the Happy Huntresses."
"Ah, we can just make a new home for us here. It's no big deal!" Bulat said.
"Aw yeah! The bachelor pad, just the two of us!" Lubbock fist pumped, high fiving Bulat.
"I'll be fine on my own. It'll be somewhere in town anyway." Najenda chuckled.
"Yeah, I think living in this place will be a nice change of pace." Robyn said with the trio nodding in agreement.
"Alright… so, I assume we're all done here." Ironwood said as one by one, they all started to leave Sojiro's.
"Hey, Aqua?"
Aqua turned to Chiaki. "Hmm? What is it?"
"So, you know that cafe… Cafe Cirrostratus?"
Aqua immediately started grimacing. "Yeah…?"
"Hajime and I went on a date there once and we noticed this whole "banned" list, and… I've been meaning to ask, why are you banned from that place?"
"Huh?" Nyx turned her head as did the rest of JIXY and the Phantom Thieves. "Aqua got banned?"
"But why? She's the nicest person out there!" Ann said.
"Right… how do I put this…" She pushed her fingers together awkwardly. "You see, I was feeling rather generous one day when I was there, so I thought I could pay for everyone's meal. There were some folk that I overheard mentioning they didn't have much money and what they bought were expensive. I felt rather bad, so I thought I could pay for them."
Aqua sighed in annoyance. "Long story short, apparently Cafe Cirrostratus has a strict unwritten policy of "paying for everyone's meal". They were pretty upset of my generous donation, so they slapped me with a temporary ban…"

"...What." Chiaki blinked.
"Did… did I just hear that correctly?" Futaba asked.
"You guys heard that too, right?" Xena asked.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" Everyone minus Vanitas, Terra and Ven yelled.
"Believe me, we had the same reaction." Terra said with Ven nodding.
"Ha. Who knew being nice would bite you in the ass?" Vanitas chuckled, causing Aqua to glare at him again.
Meanwhile, outside of the cafe…
Dorothea wrapped her arm around Byleth's shoulder. "Something bothering you, hon?"
Byleth sighed. "I thought I lost everyone… I was blackmailed by Eggman and if I was to say anything… it…" She started to tear up. "I… was so afraid of losing my family, including you… I know mom comforted me, but I just… couldn't help but wonder if I was responsible for killing you…"
"Aw, babe…" Dorothea frowned. "Look at me…" She gently cupped her chin, looking into her eyes. "That's honestly understandable, but, I'm still here. All of us are okay… and I'm not going away anytime soon." She said softly, planting a gentle kiss on her lips.
Both of them stayed there for what felt like hours for the two as Dorothea pulled away, planting her forehead on her wife's. "You know what we should do?"
"What's that?"
"Have a spa day with just the two of us, and when we get home… we can have some sexy time like we always do~ Because honey, you need it."
Byleth closed her eyes, giggling. "I'd love that."

Both of them shared another kiss while Shez watched on from afar.
"Ooooh… I seriously need a date…" She said as she noticed Edelgard walking by.

Shez gulped as she approached Edelgard. "Hey, um… Edelgard."

"Listen, um, this might sound absolutely crazy coming from me, but uh… would it be possible if we… uh… get… ice cream together some day?"

Shez blushed a deep red. "N-No! Of course not! I… I just wanted to hang out with you and get to kn-know you a bit better and-"
"Because in all honesty, for the past while, I couldn't stop thinking about you."
"...W-Wait, huh?"
"Ever since we've met in Dark Ruby's domain, I felt… some sort of connection between us."
"B-B-But… we just barely interacted at best! Did we interact? That world was such a blur and-"
"Regardless, I wanted to get to know you better myself. I was just so caught up with being an Empress that I never had the chance to find you." Edelgard smiled. "I would love to get ice cream together with you, if you would have me."
"Of-Of course!" Shez said, her voice a little high pitched more than usual before she cleared her throat. "Of course…"
"Great. Meet me at Adrestria whenever you're ready and we'll go out." Edelgard said as she walked off, giving her a wave before walking away.
Arval appeared directly in front of Shez. "Well, I'd say that went pretty well, all things considered."
"...I just realized. Wouldn't you technically be the third wheel?"
"I mean, I'm basically nonexistent to everyone but you, soooo… I don't think that counts."
"Oh, okay. …By the way, are your knees weak or is it just mine?"
"I'd say my knees are pretty relaxed."

Arval looked down at Shez who fell on her back. "I've a pretty good feeling you probably just fell in love with her."

"I'm surprised you haven't joined us when fighting Eggman!"
"Ah, well, I wanted to, but Dante invited me over to have a pizza party with him and his crew until it just devolved into us protecting Toad Town from the Grimm and the Crimson Fang. Aaaaand I became Dante's financial advisor too."
"Financial advisor? Come on, I doubt Dante would be that irresponsible." Marnie said.
Umber pulled out a bill. "Read it and weep." He said as Bowser took it.
"Let's see here… HOLY SMOKES!" Bowser yelled in disbelief as Marnie took it next.
"I think you're overreactin'. It can't be-... HOLY SHIT, HOW MANY ZEROES ARE ON THIS BILL?!" She asked as Bowsette, Rei and Cinder looked over her shoulders.
"Wh-what in Oum's name?!" Cinder looked on in disbelief.

"It lets you play all games as a subscription for free. You won't have to physically buy a game when you can just download it for free."
Twilight Chiaki's eyes sparkled. "Sold!" She said as she used her Triforce to will the money to her and handed it to him.
"Thank you very much." Vergil said, handing it to her.
"Preciooous~!" She grinned eagerly while Vergil walked away with a smirk.
"Sucker." He muttered under his breath as he disappeared into the portal.

"For you, these boxing gloves come with explosive power. Literally! One punch and you'll send your opponent flying with explosive force."
"Hmm…" Half Genie Yang rubbed her chin. "Oooh, I can probably transfer my magic into these and make my opponents beg for their mamas. I'm in. How much?"

"Wait wait wait, time out a moment!" Keyblade Ruby said, resting her arms on her Keyblade after some training. "Are you saying these cookies act like ninja stars and retain their shape if I bite into it?"
"Yes ma'am, it's a never ending cookie. Even a crumb can grow back into the large cookie!" Trish said.
"That'd be fifty Lien."
Ruby gave them the cash. "Alriiiiight, time to see what these bad boys can do! Heartless, you're about to get cookie'd!"

"In all honesty, we've got nowhere else to go." Cortana said. "As far as we know, the war with the Covenant is over. And well, it'd be rather boring if I chatted with a comatose Chief in a cryochamber."
"I think I oughta finish my fight with Ragyo, then maybe I'll come back. Who knows, I might bring Mako with me." Ryuko said.
"We gotta say goodbye to Rivet and Kit, then… hey, maybe we can drop by and possibly say hi to Ruby." Ratchet said.
"I think we'll hit the road and go see Ahsoka." Mando said.
"Personally, I'd rather stay in my time." Big Boss said. "From my point of view, I'd rather live in a simplistic timeline over something as convoluted as this Eggman person."
"Why do I feel as if that's ironic?" Ryuko wondered.
"I'll stay here as well. As far as I'm concerned, I'd rather live in a place where no one knows me. That and… I don't think Vi loves me anymore…" Jinx mumbled to herself before smiling. "So, I'll just hang with Nora and her friends!"
"You know our answer." 2B said with a soft smile. "If you need us, you know what to do."
"Right." Carmen smiled, both of them sharing a hug as 9S hugged her as well.
"Take care." 9S said as one by one, save for Jinx and Chief, disappeared from view.
"Welp, I'm gonna go see how Nora's holding up!" Jinx walked off.
"And… I think we'll see how those Reds and Blues operate." Chief said, putting Cortana back in his helmet.
"Better than napping in a cryochamber, huh?"
"Personally, I'd rather not have you be lonely."
"Aww!"
With Silver…
"So, Remnant's saved. I'm sure you can head back to your time, right?" Sonic asked.
"Actually, I just need to make sure Eggman doesn't do anything extreme to where my timeline is jacked up again. Think I'll stay a little extra longer, just in case."
"Heh, that's fine by me!" Sonic smiled. "Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go for a run." He said as he took off running.
Later, back at the Winchesters…
"Glad to see the home is still in one piece." Ironwood said.
"Indeed." Nesta smiled. "Make yourself at home, James."
"I'm glad you invited me over, General. It feels… good." Emerald said.
Esdeath smiled. "I'm glad you like it. Oh, wait, that reminds me."
"Hmm?"
Esdeath reached into her bag. "Before I got kidnapped by Eggman, I was just finalizing some paperwork. I'm glad Vale was able to finalize it for me."
"What are you talking about?"
Esdeath handed it over. "Read it."
"Let's see…" Emerald read it. "Wait, these are adoption papers…" She said to herself as her eyes widened, her hands trembled. She put a shaky hand over her mouth in shock as tears began to form. She looked up at Esdeath who had a soft motherly smile.
"I've been working on this around the time I was taken by that Fecto monster." Esdeath explained.
Emerald said nothing, more tears forming in her eyes as she immediately hugged Esdeath, her head buried in her chest as she happily sobbed into her chest.
"You deserved better, sweetie…" Esdeath smiled, softly rubbing her back.
With Weiss…
"Mmmm…" Weiss rubbed her arm as she walked around town.
"Weiss…"
"Huh? …Wait, is that you?"
"Yes, it's me."
Weiss frowned. "Look, about what happened when I lost control of myself, I… I'm sorry, I-"
"You don't have to apologize. I never would have thought there would have been some sort of side effect."
"Side effect? What do you mean?"
"You know how Ghirahim separated us? Apparently, he unknowingly did something that caused me to act a bit unstable. I didn't think of it at the time, but then he gave my power to Demise."
"Where are you going with this?"
"For some unforeseen reason, some of Demise's influence had caused… a reaction of sorts. Basically, when you got it back, you unknowingly brought some of his power with you. I didn't even know about it until what happened last night."
Weiss's eyes widened, recalling seeing an image of Demise when she was attacking Meryl. "What… what does this mean? Does that mean Demise is-"
"Thankfully, it's just a fraction of his power. There's no possible way for him to truly come back. It seems to activate whenever you're stressed."
"Oh gods…" Weiss put her hand over her mouth.
"I cannot seem to get rid of it. I've asked Hylia but unfortunately, she cannot seem to cleanse the power as well. This might as well be permanent."
"So what can we do… just let it happen and I find myself destroying my friends?"
"We can probably use this knowledge to our advantage. We can use it to strengthen our power together, use it for good."
"But I won't tell from friend or foe…"
"We can work with that. I know we can."
"Right… it's just-"
"You're unsure because of some folks from Atlas are accusing you? That's understandable. But pay no attention to those fools, their influence won't be bothering you anymore."
"I sure hope so…"
Weiss sighed immediately after. "Would… you be cool if I don't use Fierce Deity for a while? I'm not sure if I'd want to… unleash Demise's power for now."
"Take all the time you need. I will need to figure out how to control this asshole anyway. Nayru is looking into things as well, including Din and Farore."
"Thank you…" Weiss smiled as she walked back into her home.
"Hey Weiss." Meryl said. "...Or should I say "sis"?"
"Huh?" Weiss looked at her in surprise. "Sis, what do you mea-... mom brought you in, didn't she?"
"She did." Meryl smiled. "I'm part of the family now. After all, you were the one who suggested that early this morning."
Weiss lightly laughed. "Man, that was such a blur… I forgot about that." She smiled. "This is great!"
"Yup!" Meryl smiled as the two hugged. "I… definitely need to change my outfit though."
Meanwhile, with Kyoko…
"You sure this is a good idea?" Makoto asked.
"If this doesn't get Robotnik's attention, I don't know what will." Kyoko said.
"Alright, then knock 'em dead!"
"Thanks, hon." Kyoko smiled.
"Kiri, you're about to go live in five, four, three-"
Kyoko nodded at Aoi. "Showtime."
Aoi turned to the TV, seeing the news come back on.
"Welcome back from that commercial break. Earlier, I had mentioned that the head of the Future Foundation was willing to speak on live broadcast. We're going to her now." Lisa said.
"Greetings." Kyoko said. "I am Kyoko Kirigiri, head of the Future Foundation. When Dr. Eggman invaded Remnant, I was determined to see what I could do to even the playing field. Unfortunately, he caught me off guard."
"Oh, that sounds horrible. You seem fine though."
"Indeed. He couldn't keep me down for long, because you want to know why? Because he's nothing more than a lousy doctor that a little girl could invade Remnant better. Seriously, he's such a wimp that he could-"
Suddenly, the broadcast was hijacked by Eggman.
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING LOUSY AND WIMPY?!"
"O-Oh my! Dr. Eggman interrupted!" Lisa exclaimed.
Kyoko smiled. "Hook, line, and sinker. I was hoping you would have interrupted me, Eggman. I have you right where I want you. I would like to ask you a few questions."
"This was a trap? Agh, typical… alright, ask away since you'll be hounding me regardless."
"You had mentioned details about Salem some time ago when addressing Remnant for the first time. What do you know about Salem? Tell me."
"Ugh, where do I even start? When I first looked into Salem, I figured I could somehow work with her. However, looking deeper into things, I've discovered that she wants to gather the relics for herself so she could destroy the world and finally end her life because, apparently, all of this was because of a lover squabble going horribly wrong. This whole world is in the middle of a petty divorce and everyone's caught in the crossfire. No way in heck am I ever going to be a part of that!"
"And yet, you used the Staff of Creation for your own deeds. Keeping it out of her hands is one thing, but using it for trying to take Remnant for yourself?"
"Ohoho, I realize the hypocritical irony over that. That said, I wanted to do something. I actually wanted to help preserve life in case Salem makes her move. First things first, drop Atlas to the ground because it's nothing but an eyesore. To all you surviving Atlesians out there, don't lie. You know it's true with your high and mighty privlieged nonsense. About time you got knocked down a peg."
"Turning others into robotic zombies isn't what I would exactly call preservation."
"Well, it was a start at least. In fact, I'm sure you know about a certain Spartan woman. She was actually my first accomplished project where she would be the start of a new era. She was invincible, as her self proclaimed title was, and it made her immortal. Those things you saw regarding Esdeath and the Rose/Xiao Liong/Branwen family were simply defects, yet I wanted to do something with them regardless. It'd truly be wasteful, after all. What I initially had her do was mass produce metal caps that would be distributed after my initial takeover. It would be a mandatory procedure where everyone becomes metallic invincible and immortal robots. Unfortunately, that was destroyed due to some random train coming out of nowhere and blowing it up."
"But you were still going to blow up Remnant!" Lisa said angrily.
"Lisa, be a dear and let the grown ups speak. I'm being interviewed, not you."
"Hmph…"
"Then if you know this much about Salem, you know how to best her. What is it?"
"It's simple. Keep the relics away from her, throw them around different worlds if you want. Eventually, she'll grow tired. However, there is an alternative way to besting her. She cannot be killed… so what if you put her into a machine where she can never get out? You incapacitate her, you throw her in there, shut the door… everyone's happy. After all, that's what happened to good ol' Porky at New Pork City, did it not?"
"Hmm..." Kyoko looked visibly in thought. It can't be that simple. There has to be a way to make her give up definitively. But what?
"Of course, I'm just spitballing. Defeat her however you'd like. It'd be highly amusing."
"I see. I have no further questions. Thank you for your time."
"Indeed. Until next time, my dear detective!"
Eggman hung up, leaving only Kyoko and Lisa.
"Well, I think that was a rather fruitful interview. I'll be taking my leave now."
"No no, wait! I want to know more about-"
Kyoko hopped off.
"-The… Future… Foundation… drat."
Kyoko walked out. "Surely, there's got to be a way to settle it peacefully instead of just… throwing her into one of those things."
"Do we know how though?" Aoi asked.
"Honestly, your guess is as good as mine."
A few days later…
Adam sharpened his blade, when he heard the sound of footsteps. He turned his head to see Eggman approaching him.
"Salutations, Crimson Fang!"
"What do you want? You have quite some nerve showing your face here after almost blowing Remnant up."
Eggman smirked. "Indeed. I'd like to propose something to you."
"What is it?"
"You recall Weiss having a Rathalos, do you not?"
Adam growled. "I'm familiar with it."
"Well, I suspect that Weiss will still be on my trail after what happened earlier, so I propose that you kidnap her Rathalos, get her interested in you and… you can kill her so you can have your revenge against the SDC."
"...I'm not one to listen to humans, but you drive an interesting bargain. However… justice must be served for Remnant." He said, quickly getting in a stance and slicing through Eggman.
…Only, he slashed through a hologram.
"You really think I'd walk into a hostile environment just like that?"
Adam let out an amused "hmph" before sheathing his sword. "Very well, I'll take care of your Weiss problem. The Crimson Fang will have her blood."
"I knew I can count on you." He smiled as the hologram disappeared.
With Eggman…
Eggman smirked. "Well, that takes care of two problems." He said as he continued working on an experiment.
"What are you working on, boss?" Cubot asked.
"A new AI program. I've yet to give it a name." Eggman said. "Hmm… ah, I know. I think I'll call it-"
A few hours later…
"Hmm…" Meryl sat on Weiss's bed, holding Manaphy in her arms. "That's pretty grim…"
"Yeah…"
Meryl smiled. "We can worry about our spar when you get that issue figured out. I'm pretty patient."
"You'd rather fight me with Fierce Deity?"
"It'd kinda make my Phoenix form not quite as fun." She playfully winked, causing Weiss to giggle.
"Fair enough." She nodded as she looked around. "Now let's see, what would you-"
Suddenly, they heard a distressed roar coming from outside. The two of them looked at each other as Weiss opened up a window to see Adam caging Azure. "Azure?!" She yelled as Adam looked up with a smirk.
"Let's move out." He said, opening a portal as they went inside where Adam then looked up at her again.
"You want him? Come find me." He said as he walked into the portal, with Weiss looking on in horror.
"AZURE!"

"Ahahahahaha!" Nefarious laughed. "You missed it, Ratchet! Your Lombax companion defeated the Emperor without you interfering! Granted, I kicked him into the portal, but it's no big deal honestly."
"Bah, that's fine. I was busy kicking someone else's butt." Ratchet said.
"Oh? And what's that?"
"I was summoned to take care of a problem. Dr. Eggman, Death Egg, fun stuff."
"Dr. Eggman? I've never heard of him!"
"Yeah, apparently he's from another dimension and he was planning on to conquer a dimension known as Remnant. Which, I gotta be honest, he seems to have it down pat compared to you."
"WHAT?!"
"Yeah, you heard me! This Doctor Eggman is far better than you! He's got an IQ of three hundred! Which, by my guess, he outsmarts you."
"WHAAAAAAAAT! Oh, he thinks he can outsmart ME, will he!" Nefarious turned around. "LAWRENCE! Get the Dimensionator ready at once! We are going to this dimension that Ratchet just went to, and we'll see for ourselves who's the smartest one! Me or that Egg Poser!"
"Right away, Doctor."
Ratchet blinked, realizing what he just did as Nefarious and Lawrence hightailed it out of there. "...Uh oh."
Post Credit Scene #2:
Cable appeared on top of Hope's Peak Academy, looking through his machines. "Okay, the anomaly is right here…" He mused as he went right to work on it.
"My, will the intrusions never end?" A voice asked as Cable turned to see Twilight Chiaki approaching him. "Oh hey, you must be Cable."
"Indeed. I'm working on preventing Apocalypse from coming into this universe and destroying it."
"Ah, cool cool…" Chiaki nodded. "I'm just downloading games on the Stadia that I just got."
"Ah, good for you… by the way, you look a lot older here."
"That's because I lived in Hyrule for five years." She said, walking over to the edge of Hope's Peak. "I came back and stopped Junko from spreading her despair juice. Apparently, I was only gone for a few days to everyone, but… I'm still got my physique as a twenty three year old woman, not that I don't mind."
"Stopping Junko must've been a wild ride, huh?"
"Yeah, got my revenge… had a great time, all of that fun stuff." Twilight Chiaki chuckled. "Although, stopping Junko wasn't enough for me. I've decided to cleanse this universe free from evil. That includes so-called "innocent" troublemakers."
"Good for you." Cable said, continuing working on the anomaly.
"Yeah, I locked everyone away in Hyrule. My fellow Ultimates, my best friend Midna… I want to make sure they don't stop me so they're living the best life they know in Hyrule. When I'm done, I'll bring them back and this universe will truly be a paradise."
"How much evil have you destroyed?" He asked casually.
"Oh, ya know… destroyed the Space Pirates before Samus could, killed Andross, took care of Porky before he could get into that Absolutely Safe Capsule, took care of Bayonetta's problems… all of that fun stuff."
"I see."
"Yeah, I also took care of Bowser."
BGM: Lavender Town (Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee)
Cable paused after the anomaly was shut down. "Bowser? But he's not that bad."
"He kidnaps Peach. I'm doing her a favor… in fact, I did away with all the Koopa Troop that would cause harm to the Mushroom Kingdom. Hell, I took care of Count Bleck and his minions too. Fawful and Midbus? Took care of them too. Wario and Waluigi aren't a problem anymore either."
"I… see… now when you say "All of the Koopa Troop"..."
Twilight Chiaki turned around with a gleeful smile. "All of the Koopa Troop, down to the last Koopa." She giggled, almost sadistically. "Of course, I spared one individual. There was no way in hell that I could bring myself to kill Junior, so I spared him and took him in."
"That's good at least."
"Yeah, I'm currently correcting his ways and showing him what it means to be good. He's a true apprentice." She giggled darkly.
"...Are you grooming him?"
"Grooming him? Absolutely not. I set up a re-eductation camp inside Hope's Peak. He should be wrapping up within, oh… about a week or so? He's gonna be a gold star kid before you know it!"

Meanwhile…
"...Bowser, why are you playing the piano?" Chiaki asked as she was watching a movie.
"Peach, you're so cool~ And with my Star, we're gonna rule~"
"What the heck…?!" Chiaki asked, a smile already forming on her face as she was trying her best not to laugh herself into hysterics but failed miserably.
"Peach, understand~ I'm gonna love ya til the very end~! Peaches Peaches Peaches Peaches Peaches Peaches Peaches Peaches Peaches Peaches Peaches~ IIIIII LOOOOOOOVE YOOOOOOOOU~! OOOOOOH~! PEEEEACHEEEES~! PEEEACHEEEES-"
"Sire?"
Chiaki wiped some tears from her eyes. "Oh god, that was so good…" She giggled.
"What…"
"A report from our intelligence. A mustacheoed human has arrived in the Mushroom Kingdom!"
*BOWSER GROWL*
"The princess has been training him, they are up to something, sire!"
"...Sit. Jam with me."
Chiaki's eyes widened the moment Bowser started playing a tune on the piano. "Ooooh, Underground theme!"
"This, ah… human… where did he come from?"
"We… aren't sure…"
"Does the princess… like him?"
"Sire! Look in the mirror! You have nothing to worry about!"
"I know that. I'm not threatened."
SLAM!
"AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH!"
"FIND OUT WHO HE IS AND WHAT THEY'RE PLANNING!"
"I-I'm on it, sire…! …May I lift the cover…?"
"Not yet! Pain is the best teacher!"
"Poor guy…" Chiaki giggled. "Oh man, this movie's awesome."

"Hmm?" Chiaki paused the movie as she walked up to the door, opening it up to see Cable in front of him. "Oh, hi Cable. What's up?"
"We need to talk."
Deadpool: At least he didn't interrupt the song. That would've been a travesty!
Ibuki: *giggle* The movie's always a treat!
Yup! Anywho, that concludes this story. You're probably wondering why the stories disappeared. Relax, they're not cancelled. I just decided, on a whim, to remove the future stories from the list as a way to get everyone into thinking "OH CRAP, IS EGGMAN ACTUALLY GOING TO WIN IN THIS STORY?!" It was just so hilarious, I wanted to do it. I even saved them in a spare doc just so I didn't accidentally delete it from history. Should be back up pretty soon.
Anyway, shout out to everyone in this fic who helped out and we'll see you in Wings of Ruin! ...Although, wonder what Cable wants to chat with Chiaki about? We'll see!
