Pokémon battle between Ash and Liko
Ash: You can do it, Sobble!
Sobble: (determined) Sob!
Liko: Use Water Gun, Dewpider!
Dewpider: Dew! (It fires the blast, but Sobble dodges)
Ash: Dodge it, Sobble, and then use Tackle!
Sobble: (agreeing and charging for the attack) Sob!
Liko: (gasps, but smirks) Dewpider, use String Shot!
(Dewpider launches the sticky silk threads on Sobble, causing it to squeal as it struggles)
Ash: Oh, no, you don't! Sobble, use your tears now!
(Sobble cries the tears into its own eyes, causing the silk threads to break and allow it to escape. It then charges and rams Dewpider into a tree)
Liko: Whoa!
Dewpider: Dew, p-pid...?
(Dewpider weakly crawls out, defeated, and Sobble looks on proudly)
Ash: Awesome job, Sobble!
Marnie: (thinking) Wow...!
Zoey: (thinking) Incredible.
Shauna: (thinking) That was amazing!
Liza: (thinking) Amazing...!
Pikachu: Pika! (impressed)
Riolu: Riolu...
(Sobble walks back to Ash, proud of itself, when suddenly...)
Bede: (sarcastic) Ha.
(The others looked at him)
Bede: Oh, please. Your "strategy" is so predictable. You just have your Pokemon hit them with a strong physical attack, like the rest of the simpletons do.
Ash: Huh?
Pikachu: (indignant) Pika?!
Sobble: (whimpers)
Bede: A strategy that predictable is the worst thing you can have in a match. It's no wonder you can't win, and that's why you have a reputation as a loser.
Ash: What?
Goh: Why you...
(Everyone was starting to feel angered)
Riolu: (growls) Riolu...!
Ash: Hey, that was just my first strategy!
Bede: I'm not interested in any strategy you can come up with.
Marnie: Oh, please!
Shauna: How can you be so mean!?
Goh: And what did we do to make you so upset?
Raboot: Raboot.
Rotom: That Bede person sure is acting like a big bully.
Chloe: (nods) Right.
Bede: Oh, don't flatter yourself, Goh. (takes a few steps towards the group) You know, I've got better things to do than listen to a bunch of amateurs. So, why don't you all just go home and study up on how to actually become a Trainer.
Sobble: (crying tears from frustration and humiliation) S-Sobble!
Ash: Come on, Sobble, let's go.
Bede: What do you mean, go? Weren't you listening?
(Ash ignores him and walks away, with Pikachu and the others following)
Liza: (shakes her head) What's with him?
Chloe: I'm with you. He's such a rude jerk!
Marnie: He doesn't even have any manners.
(Raboot and Grookey look at each other and glare, with the latter growling at the former)
Goh: He's not even going to get my name right.
Ash: It's all right, Sobble.
Pikachu: Pika Pi.
Riolu: (reassuring) Riolu.
Zoey: Don't worry about him, Liza.
Liza: (looks at the others) Yeah.
Liko: (turns around) I've got this.
Zoey: Huh?
Marnie: (surprised) Liko...?
Liko: You're the one who has no idea what you're doing!
Bede: Hm?
(He turns to see a defiant Liko facing him)
Liko: You just made a bad mistake, buddy!
(He runs off to the battlefield)
Zoey: Wait, Liko!
Marnie: Hey, wait!
(But he kept running)
Bede: Hm.
(Soon, our heroes arrived to the battlefield where Ash and Liko fought. There we see a determined Liko, ready for battle)
Liko: I challenge you to a battle!
Bede: (laughs) And why would I accept?
Liko: Because if you don't, then that means you're a scared little baby!
Bede: What'd you say?
(Our heroes arrived)
Liza: Liko, stop it!
Chloe: He's not worth it!
Goh: Don't give him what he wants!
(They stopped)
Ash: (gasps) What're you doing here?
Pikachu: Pikachu.
Marnie: This is a really bad idea.
Zoey: Yeah.
Shauna: But still...
Zoey: (giggles) You're pretty stubborn.
Marnie: I guess this is what makes a good friend.
Liza: (looks at her sister ) Liko.
(We see a serious looking Bede)
Liko: If you're not gonna battle, then there's something wrong with you!
(Bede smirked and then chuckled)
Bede: If you're that desperate, I suppose I have no choice.
(He brings out a Pokeball)
Liko: Then it's settled.
(Liko brings out her Pokeball)
Bede: One Pokémon.
Liko: Right.
Goh: One-on-one?
Ash: (nods) Yup.
Liza: This could turn into a really tough battle.
Zoey: It's not just because Liko's so mad.
Marnie: (concerned) Liko, be careful.
(We see the two Trainers on opposite sides, ready for a battle)
Pikachu: Pika!
Riolu: (determined) Riolu.
Ash: Alright, this'll be a One-On-One Pokemon Battle! The match will be over when both Pokémon are unable to continue.
Liza: (sighs) Liko.
Chloe: Let's go, Liko!
Zoey: Show 'em your power, Dewpider!
Goh: Go, Dewpider!
(Liko's Dewpider and Bede's Hatenna come out and stare each other down. Liko's friends all looked with anticipation)
Marnie: Go, Dewpider!
(The battle starts as Bede is the first to give his move)
Bede: (tosses his Pokeball up) Hatenna, Disarming Voice!
(Hatenna fires a pink beam at Dewpider, and the latter dodges the attack)
Bede: What was that?!
(Dewpider was quick and dodged the attack)
Bede: Follow after it with a Tackle!
(Hatenna charges and tackles Dewpider to a tree.
As it hits, we see Dewpider's left claw glowing bright yellow)
Bede: Use Confusion!
(Hatenna uses its psychic powers and lifts Dewpider up and then tosses it down. It then fires a blue wave, and then the yellow energy came off, leaving a small mark)
Liza: Liko!
Chloe: Liko, watch out!
(Dewpider is struggling to get up)
Bede: It's all over now! Now, use another Tackle attack!
(Hatenna charges at Dewpider)
Liko: Use String Shot to stop the attack!
(Dewpider fires its silk on Hatenna, and Hatenna struggled and stopped)
Bede: (grunts) Get free, and then use Disarming Voice!
(Hatenna tries to get the strings off as Dewpider jumps and fires a Water Gun which hits)
Bede: (shocked) No!
(Hatenna crashes)
Liko: Great work, Dewpider, now finish it with a Tackle!
Bede: Not yet, Hatenna, use Confusion!
(Hatenna lifts Dewpider up, despite being wounded)
Liko: Use Bounce to escape!
(Dewpider jumps and does so)
Bede: Quick, use Psybeam!
(Hatenna prepares to fire, but Liko gives the next order)
Liko: Now, Dewpider, use Signal Beam!
(Dewpider launches a multicolored beam, while Hatenna launches a colorful ray. Both collided and explode. Our heroes gasped)
Goh: Whoa, it's a clash of beams!
Zoey: Those two attacks are too much!
(As the dust clears, both Dewpider and Hatenna were knocked out. But the referee, Ash, announced)
Ash: Both Pokémon are unable to battle!
Bede: What a waste of time.
Liza: (to her sister ) That's enough.
Chloe: Let's just go home.
(Liko nods her head as she returns her defeated Dewpider back into its Pokeball, but then we hear something)
Marnie: Huh?
