["A BLAST FROM THE PAST!"]

*On a fine afternoon in Amity Park, today is the day when Carrie Mayth would most likely hold a grudge against her mother for this specific day. And it was the twentieth college reunion of the students that attended the University of Wisconsin in the '80s. She hated it, she hated absolutely everything about it; even if nobody would bother to mention it, she still hated it no matter what.

And all because of one person.

However, she unexpectedly found out that Danny had been forced to attend the reunion as punishment for missing his curfew, (possibly the fifth time) which would've left Carrie alone in this situation because if he hadn't missed it, and then, luckily, the Fenton wouldn't have gone due to being encountered with a few ghost birds on the way home.

Now, the next day had arrived and both Mayth women had been offered to tag along with the Fentons, practically cramped up in their Fenton Family Ghost Assault Vehicle. The three children are in the back while Joyce Mayth is joined in between both Fenton adults that are seated in the front -- reading the map.*

Jazz: How does this happen? You goof up, and I have to spend four days jammed in the Fenton Ghost RV?

Carrie: You think being forced into your parents' RV thanks to your brother's shenanigans is bad? I, unfortunately, have to go because my stupid father insisted just to spend--

*Just when she could breach out the word, the blue-haired girl quickly stops herself, which earns some confused looks from Jazz and Danny before she slurps on her soda in misery. During their tiny complaining, Jack navigates the RV while Joyce is still helping Maddie read the map.*

Jack: That's the Fenton Family Ghost Assault Vehicle, folks. Every button in this baby is a ghost's worst nightmare.

Danny: Ugh, I need some air.

Carrie: Count me in, dude.

Jazz: *Realizing what both younger teens were planning to press* Don't press any buttons!

*Unfortunately, the auburn-haired girl was too late to warn them as one push of a button by her brother caused several weapons to appear on the outside of the GAV. A laser then shoots a chunk out of a tree whilst another weapon freezes a bird mid-air, causing it to fall, and another laser zaps a guy talking on his cell phone while driving, charring his face.

However, it wasn't over yet in Jazz's case as a hose then waves around and once again shoots green goo onto her head, earning a glare to be given at Danny himself.*

Jazz: I'll get you for this.

*Later on, when the wonderful moon had risen, instead of finding a motel to spend overnight in, the two families were parked outside at a truck stop, and decided to spend their night in the Fentons' GAV. Now, every member that had ownership of the vehicle was lined up in sleeping bags beside each other, which left both Mayth members lying closely together, huddled within their own small corner.*

Jack: Get some rest, everybody! I want the entire Fenton clan bright-eyed and bushy-tailed when we meet Masters tomorrow.

Jazz: *Holds up hand* Wait, wait, wait. Masters? As in Vlad Masters? Who was named Affluence Magazine's 'Billionaire of the Year'?

Jack: That's the guy! In college, he was my best friend.

*The Fenton man soon lifts a hand up to reveal a picture taken of a smiling Jack and Vlad in college, while other students humiliate them in the background.*

Jack: We were very popular guys. Roommates -- lab partners, we did everything together. Until the thick fingers of fate stuck themselves right in Vlad's eyes.

~~

*Finding themselves going into a flashback towards their old university lab back within the '80s, college-age Vlad, Maddie, and Jack are wearing lab coats and observing a small proto-portal on a table. Vlad is pondering over it, while Maddie and Jack seem pleased about it.

"I'm telling you, Jack, it won't work." Vlad Master says, feeling extremely odd about how the work they've put into the portal has to have something wrong with it.

Jack Fenton shakes his head. "Bogus, V-Man! It totally will! This Proto-Portal is guaranteed to bust open the wall into the ghost dimension." he confidently denies.

Still feeling skeptical about this, Vlad peers through the portal for a better look, but meanwhile, Maddie and Jack walk over to another table, where Maddie looks over a stack of papers while Jack picks up the remote for the portal.

Soon, this caught Maddie's attention as she noticed something wrong on the papers. "Jack, these calculations aren't right." the auburn-haired woman tried to warn him.

But unfortunately, I'm his own dense mind, Jack wasn't paying attention towards that desire as he grabbed the remote and shouted, "BANZAI!"

And without hesitation, Jack activates the portal with the remote, making the portal start up as swirls of green surround its center, but then something goes wrong and it shoots out an ectoplasmic blast that hits Vlad right in the face.

Vlad is screaming through agonizing pain, feeling the portal's horrific blast against his skin. Finally, the blast comes to a stop and the young Master grabs his face with both hands to reveal that everything has completely changed him.

His hair has turned from black to white and there is green smoke coming off his head. Vlad turns towards Maddie and Jack and drops his hands from his face, causing the duo to gasp in disbelief at the man's face.

Vlad is now covered with rash bumps, and his eyes are glowing an electric blue. He covers his face again and runs off, feeling ransacked of what's become into his lifestyle that's caused by the idiotic Jack Fenton himself.*

~~

Jack: *Narrating now into the present-day* He was hospitalized with a horrible case of ecto-acne… It devastated him… and killed his social life. We haven't spoken since that day. But the good news is, I think after all these years, he's finally forgiven me.

*After listening to the Fenton man's college days story, something hits Joyce as she gasps, remembering what had happened during her own life at the university, especially when it involves Vladimir Masters' in it.*

Joyce: Wait a minute, it was you? You destroyed his college reputation?!

Jack: *Taken back by Joyce's words as he faces her in confusion* What are you talking about? I never told you this story, we weren't even friends in college. Not like today.

Joyce: *Scoffs and decides to play it off* Oh, please, Jack, I think everyone at college knew the terrible accident situation that happened between you and Vlad.

*Jack side-eyes for a moment before deciding to forget about the whole story of him 'ruining his old college buddy's reputation' and puts on a dumbfounded look upon his face.*

Jack: Well, Joycelyn, like I said, Vladdie's forgiven me -- it's bygones, and that's all that matters.

*Despite mentioning the man's name, (many times) along with his backstory, and especially the photograph, Carrie took a deep breath and concealed her ghost powers from showing. Getting an annoyed glare from her daughter, Joyce let out a sigh and wrapped a comforting arm, pulling her daughter closer with a bit of shame and hopes of resorting to him. All the while, Danny on the other hand looked away from his father with a worried look plastered across his face, nothing seemed wrong in that regard when forgive and forget.*

*Finally, the next morning has arrived and the GAV pulls up to the one and only large castle in Wisconsin where their college reunion event shall be held. And once both families began to walk up the large front steps, there he came, stepping out to greet them as the one and only owner of this fine mansion -- Vladimir Masters himself.*

Vlad: Jack… and Maddie! You've never looked lovelier, my dear. *Looks at Joyce* And Jocelyn! Oh, my, seeing your smile never fails to brighten up my day!

Joyce: *Crosses arms and glares at him* Likewise, Vladimir...

*After getting this warm greeting from his dearest 'friend,' it causes a lot of awkwardness to form between their group, especially Carrie herself as the blue-haired girl couldn't barely look him in the eye for some odd reason.*

Vlad: *Clears throat* Yes, well… *Ushers Maddie, Joyce, Danny, Carrie, and Jazz to come inside* Please, please, come in.

*Once all three girls (plus boy) go inside the castle, they don't realize that Jack is left behind, mostly being the last to enter his old friend's wonderful home.*

Jack: Vladdie, my man! It's good to-- *Door slams in his face, cutting him off* Hello? Hello?!

*Now, inside the mansion, all three teenagers and both mothers are walking into Vlad's entrance hall, which is decorated in green-and-gold and filled with Green Bay Packers' football memorabilia.*

Carrie: *Crosses her arms unimpressed* Wow, someone's that big of a fan, huh…

Jazz: What's with the green and gold? You're a billionaire! Surely you could afford an interior designer.

Danny: Jazz, hello? Football helmets, jerseys, cheeseheads? He's a Packers fanatic.

*Just then, from outside of the mansion, Jack's voice is still heard as he constantly continues to call out for anyone to at least open the door and allow him inside.*

Jack: Hello?!

Vlad: *Places hand on Danny's shoulder* Oh, 'fanatic' is such a negative word… *Raises hand* But, yes.

Jazz: I don't understand. You have billions of dollars. Instead of buying this stuff, why don't you just buy the team?

Vlad: *Becomes irritated* Because the Packers are owned by the city of Green Bay and they won't sell them to me!

Carrie: *Also becomes irritated* Hey, don't yell at her! She's simply giving you recommendations on what else you could do with your lousy money instead of wasting it on some lame, old football team!

*Feeling taken back by the girl's outburst, Vlad soon regains his calming self, just to then have his gaze look back towards Maddie who is standing beside him.*

Vlad: Ah, well, one of two things my wealth has not as of yet… *Chuckles* been able to acquire.

*Maddie smiles innocently at him where groans were heard from Joyce and Carrie, where the half-ghost girl found her green orbs becoming their brightest blue, which made Danny notice as he goes over and shields them before they could be seen by not just his family, but her own mother as well.*

Danny: Sheesh, don't get so worked up about it, Care. *To Jazz and whispers* Is he hitting on Mom?

Jazz: As long as he's got working toilets, and Mom says no, who cares?

*The auburn-haired teen then walks away while Joyce couldn't help but notice Maddie feeling a little bit uncomfortable by Vlad's odd gaze; so she walks over towards the woman and places a hand on her shoulder.*

Joyce: Well, maybe Maddie here would be interested in something *Mutters over her shoulder* 'or someone' else, isn't that right, Maddie?

Maddie: *Nervously nods* Yes! I'd, uh… *Points at door* better let Jack in.

*And she does so, leaving Joyce a small smirk on her face, seeing how little loyalty the female Fenton has for the person she's happily married to while Danny is standing beside Carrie, (whose eyes are still covered by his hand) admiring the football memorial.*

Carrie: *Smacks hand away and whispers harshly* Okay, dude, I've gotten control!

*The raven-haired boy glares at her for a moment before taking notice of an autographed football by one of the Green Bay Packers' players.*

Danny: Whoa, cool!

Vlad: Indeed. *Picks up ball* This ball was autographed by the legendary Ray Nitschke himself. *Hugs ball to face* It's my prized possession.

Carrie: *Scoffs* No surprise there…

Vlad: *Glances at her, then smiles a bit* Oh, Caroline... My apologies since I haven't gotten the chance to say 'hello' to you. It's been so long, how are you, dearest?

Carrie: *Fakes a smile* Oh, everything's great… *Glares* At least until I got here!

*Vlad's smile quickly disappears at the girl's (slightly) hurtful words just when Jack's voice is heard from a closeby distance.*

Jack: Heads up, V-Man!

*Suddenly, the man in an orange jumpsuit barges into the entrance hall, tackles Vlad to ground, and grabs football as if they were actually playing on the field.*

Jack: Ha! *Stands up* I see you've still got the old moves.

Carrie: *Snickers and mutters to Danny* I think I'd give your dad a point on that.

Vlad: *Stands and snatches football back, angrily* Give me that! *Puts football back on pedestal* I never had any old moves! All those years in the hospital robbed me of that!

*Both families (especially the Fentons) look at Vlad silently, surprised and worried over his outburst. Except for Carrie as the blue-haired girl rolled her eyes towards this behavior, seeing as she takes much of it, and wasn't surprised the least on this soon, they watched the billionaire compose himself again, revolving back into his calming act.*

Vlad: Yes. Well, it gave me time to chart out a course for my life, didn't it? Make some decisions that helped to make me very wealthy, very quickly. And it never would have happened without you, Jack.

*As the Masters man says this, he gives Maddie a creepy smile, which causes the woman to grow even more uncomfortable in this presence.*

Maddie: Uh, yeah… maybe we should go.

Vlad: No, no, you should stay with me! *Puts arm around Jack* That's the whole reason I'm throwing the reunion here in my castle -- previously home to the legendary Wisconsin Dairy King.

*Around the front entrance, Carrie could've sworn she'd seen a portrait of the Dairy King, and she was right, because there happens to be one.*

Vlad: And just so I could… reconnect with you, Jack. I insist you all stay.

Jack: Well, I don't know. We do have a really cool RV...

Joyce: *Mutters* Anywhere's fine, *Glares at Vlad* but here...

Jazz: *Faking a cough* Letsstayhere!

Danny: *Slides a hand through the air* Smooth.

Carrie: *Nods head in agreement* Personally, I don't think I'd rather take another night cramped up in that thing, *To Danny and Jazz* did I mention your dad snores really loud!?

Vlad: You know, Jack, the Dairy King's ghost could haunt these very halls…

Jack: I'll get the bags!

*Once the whole g-word is established into the mind of someone whose whole life is destined around ghosts, Jack immediately runs off while Vlad smiles sinisterly at this moment.*

*Tonight would be the night where both Mayth women would be comfortable in actual beds rather than cramped up in the Fenton family's GAV. Earlier catchup with Vlad Masters wasn't as bad as Joyce thought it would be when she and Carrie were to meet him again; though, the woman was glad that her daughter managed to keep it on the low-down.

And now, Joyce finds herself already settled in her guestroom, ready to climb into bed with her laptop, which owns an email from her coworker about another case throughout Amity Park where a reckless teenager had been DUI, (short for driving under the influence) ready to check in with what they had to say until a knock is heard at her door.*

Joyce: Come in.

*Soon, revealing that mysterious figure behind the door, the lawyer expected it to be her daughter, but no -- it was Vlad Masters himself. And the moment he had entered the room, Joyce's facial expression became unpleasant with his visit as she stood up to straighten her posture with crossed arms.*

Vlad: *Closes door from behind* I only wanted to see that you've settled in alright…

Joyce: *Glares at him* I've settled in just fine, no thanks to you.

Vlad only let out a disappointed sigh, he simply didn't know how to talk to someone like Joyce Mayth, seeing as it's been so long since their old days in college; but he at least wanted to try and resolve this issue from past times.*

Vlad: Jocelyn, I'm--

Joyce: *Cuts him off* You, 'what'? You're 'sorry'? Is that what you're going to say? Because you can forget it. You're ten years too late. *Turns away* And don't think I was happy getting that from you either way…

Vlad: *Nods shamefully* I was just going to say how happy I am to see you and Caroline… And I am certainly not expecting you to forgive me, because you are right.

Joyce: *Scoffs and turns back* I know I'm right. *Glances at the ground* And whatever game you're playing with to get a chance back with Maddie, I think chances aren't that good at your level. You'd probably be better off single, it's what you've always been good at anyways.

Vlad: Listen, I know I've committed many terrible things to you and Caroline, but believe me when I express how truly sorry I am for putting you two in that kind of grievance, it's my most honest mistake.

Joyce: *Sighs* I wish I could believe that, I do… But, *Glances up into his blue orbs* it's been far too long, and with the whole college reunion, *Starts to lightly tug on her hair* I-I don't know how long Care will be able to hold herself together, you know how she can be?

Vlad: *Chuckles* Oh, yes. The child seems to be quite the little wilding… She certainly gets that kind of anger from her mother.

Joyce: *Scoffs* Uh, huh, sure… *Pauses* And by the way, she personally prefers 'Carrie,' she thinks the name Caroline is just too stuck-up for a kid her age, you know?

Vlad: Thank you, I shall try and keep that in mind. It was nice to at least have a decent chat with you, Jocelyn.

Joyce: *Gives a sad nod* I... wish I could say the same to you, Vladimir.

*Without looking back up at him, Vlad exits her guestroom with absolute silence. But once the door closes shut, Joyce's green eyes are slowly from the tears wanting to break free, having that same feeling she's had since her goodbye with him.*

*

Now, later on, in the middle of the night, inside another guest bedroom that's settled within Vlad's castle, Jack and Maddie Fenton are sound asleep until suddenly, the man that wears an orange jumpsuit bolts upright from the bed, uttering a single word.*

Jack: Bathroom.

*Soon, the ghost-hunter walks out into the hallway in search of a bathroom, and the vultures from Danny Fenton's earlier battle phase down through the ceiling and start to fly after him. And speaking of Danny, the boy is asleep in the room beside his parents' own before he suddenly wakes up as his ghost sense goes off.*

Danny: Oh, great. Just what I need: a working vacation.

*He goes ghost and flies off in search of the ghosts that were most likely roaming around the Wisconsin mansion. And surprisingly enough, the ghosts appear to be the same ones Danny had fought yesterday against when he attempted to make it back home in time for his curfew.

But luckily, just when the ghost vultures are about to attack a half-sleeping Jack with their talons, Danny's hands phase up through the floor beneath Jack, then grab his legs, turning him intangible, and phase his father down through the floor, catching the creatures off guard.*

Vulture Ghost #1: Hey, what gives?

*Danny flies the half-asleep Jack into the bathroom, then flies out before his father wakes up and notices where he is.*

Jack: Ah! Sweet relief…

*Now, the male halfa phases back up to the hallway where the three vultures are roaming in.*

Danny: Hi, guys! *Punching a fist into his palm* Remember me?

*Although, just when the vultures are met with the same voice, they see him, then suddenly freak out, and fly away.*

Danny: Okay… That was almost too easy.

*However, it apparently wasn't the sound of their half-ghost enemy's presence that made them scurry away, no -- it was a new figure standing behind the boy, smiling mischievously down at him.*

(?): Ah, bright boy…

*And that familiarity makes Danny turn around to see a new ghost floating behind him. His new nemesis is muscular, has sky blue skin, and pointed ears and fangs; his hair is black and pointed in a U-shape and he has a black goatee. His outfit is mostly cosplaying some kind of vampiric look as he wears a white outfit consisting of white trousers and a white long-sleeved shirt covered in black gloves.

His shirt is connected via a black belt and stems up to his neck where there is a black collar on his shirt like Danny's, although it does not extend up the neck, and for footwear; black boots.

Then finally, he accessories with a high collar cape connected around his neck that has a white exterior and a red interior lining. Through that outfit, the man is crossing his arms with a smug grin plastered across his face.*

Danny: Oh, whatever. I was aiming for the birds, but you'll do.

*This new ghost raises an eyebrow, amused just until Danny swings a powerful punch at him, but suddenly, he grabs the Phantom boy's fist in midair, making him become surprised at this reaction before the ghost flings him hard against a wall. Danny slides down the wall and lands on a table, grabbing his head dizzily.*

Danny: Whoa. Fast... Alright, better stop fooling around.

*Danny then launches himself back at the vampirish ghost again in attack mode, but his enemy stops him again in midair by suddenly grabbing the boy by the throat and throwing him down hard to the ground.*

(?): My vultures were supposed to bring the big idiot to me, but you'll do! Danny Phantom, right?

Danny: Wait, you… you know me?

(?): Of course I know you! Why, I even know the ghost girl, who I'm surprised isn't even here -- fighting alongside you at this very moment!

Danny: *Side eyes* I'm, uh- from out of town…?

*Without saying another word, the vampire figure phases backwards through a wall, which urges Danny to follow him into Vlad Masters' own private library.*

(?): *Pointing at him* You and your dear partner are the ghost children who use their powers for good. How quaint… *Gets in Danny's face and flies around him* Aren't you going to try to shove me into your ridiculous thermos?

Danny: I… I don't want to fight you.

(?): No. No you don't.

*Out of nowhere, the ghost then fires a pink-colored ectoplasmic ray at the halfa boy, which causes him to be sent crashing into a bookshelf.*

Danny: *Flies up and fires ecto-blast at him* Get away!

*However, that wasn't the only trick up his sleeve as the vampire-look-a-like ghost blocks Danny's blast with an ectoplasmic shield and crosses his arms smugly.*

(?): Ah, an ectoplasmic energy blast…

*Danny then fires more blasts at the adult figure, but he casually moves his shield around to block them; very effortlessly much to add as it didn't bother him - not one bit.*

(?): *Fakes a yawn* So… year one.

*Soon, his shield disappears, and Danny looks worriedly at his still-glowing hands.*

(?): Tell me, child, can you or the ghost girl do this yet?

*Suddenly, not expecting another trick up his sleeve, the vampire ghost duplicates himself into three other copies, causing Danny to back away from them in absolute shock at this sight.*

Danny: No, w-we can't! How are you doing all this?

Vampire Look-alike and duplicates: Years of practice, which you two, unfortunately, have no time for...

*All four duplicates each shoot an ecto-blast at Danny, who screams in pain and falls to the floor, then struggles to stand back up. The vampire look-alike then continuously attacks the male halfa, which sends him phasing back out into the hallway, and crashing onto the floor. Danny tries to stay awake but falls as he allows his unconsciousness to succumb where soon, the ghost man phases out into the hallway as well just in time to see Danny transform automatically back into his human self.*

(?): *Surprised* The ghost boy… is Jack's son?

*However, that wasn't the most shocking part throughout this battle where once he is faced that Danny Fenton is the Danny Phantom -- the hybrid ghost every other ghost despises, (alongside Carrie) the man suddenly transforms back into his human self, which reveals Vladimir Masters himself being a new discovered halfa as well, owning an assumed look upon his face.*

Vald: Well, what do you know?

*Not even realizing it, Danny is placed back into his guestroom, where he is now asleep (due to being passed out from his fight) until soon, in the room, the Fenton boy was constantly tossing and turning underneath his bedsheets.*

Danny: No! Get away!

*Finally, he then jolts awake, removes the bedsheets from his head just to find himself back in the guestroom.*

Danny: Huh? Where am I? What happened?

*Just then, a sudden voice is heard as the figure appears in the doorway.*

Vlad: I was going to ask you the same question, young man.

*Walking into the room, the mysterious figure reveals to be Vlad Masters himself, practically having to 'check' on the teen who was dreaming about the fight he encountered earlier -- not even knowing he went up against the Masters man.*

Danny: I… must've been worn out from the long car trip. I-I'll be okay in the morning… I'm sorry for the scare.

Vlad: Oh, what's a little scare between friends, son, hmm? Sleep tight, little badger.

*When leaving Danny's room, Vlad owns an evil smirk pressed against his face as he now knows so much about the boy.*

*Soon, the next night quickly came through as people were arriving at Vlad's castle for their college reunion. Danny, now wearing a suit -- peeks into the Masters' screening room to find his sister watching old football clips of what shows to be the Green Bay Packers' playing on the field.*

Danny: Jazz, aren't you coming to the reunion?

Jazz: What? And watch a bunch of old fossils pogo to new wave music? Pass. Did you know the Packers won the very first Super Bowl?

Danny: Whatever.

*He leaves while on the film, the sports announcer begins to narrate what was happening on the field, and that is watching Lambeau, and Bart Starr have a face-off between Butkus and the Bears. Now, strolling into the main party that's held in Vlad's own ballroom, Carrie, who is wearing a simple blue dress that's tied with a gray bow around her waist -- walks alongside her mother, Joyce as the woman is wearing her gray pantsuit; basically showing a representation of what a lawyer wears.*

Carrie: I can't believe I have to wear this stupid dress at this stupid reunion in his stupid house!

Joyce: *Places a hand on her shoulder* I know it's just awful… But it'll be over before you know it, why don't you go hang out with Jazz in the screening room?

Carrie: Mom, I'm not as close with Jazz as I am with Danny, and besides, who else is gonna suffer with me the whole time?

*Speaking of the Fentons, they see Danny and his parents walk in, where Jack looks around just to spot an old classmate known to be Harriet Chin.*

Jack: Hey, Harry!

Harriet: *Spits out food* Ugh. I'd know that voice anywhere…

*So, the woman decides to suck it up and make way towards the Fentons who are now joined with the two Mayth members.*

Harriet: Jack. Maddie… How nice. *Noticed Joyce* Oh, Joyce! *Hugs her* It's so good to see you again!

Joyce: *Is back by the hug* Likewise, Harriet. *Decides to return the embrace* Likewise… *Pulls away* Uh, you know, my daughter, Carrie?

Harriet: Of course! Oh, wow, aren't you just an adorable version of your mother… *Admires her blue-dyed hair* that is if your hair isn't this natural color I assume?

Carrie: Don't worry, underneath this ravishing color, it's brown -- though, me personally, I'd prefer for it to be blue.

Jack: Danny, meet Harriet Chin. She's a big-shot reporter for the Milwaukee Journal now, but back in my college days she was just Harry -- Harry Chin! Haha! *Holds head while laughing* Get it?!

Maddie: I'm really sorry, Harriet.

Harriet: Sweetie, you married him. You should be.

Joyce: *Places hand on her shoulder* You really should be. *Gazes down at Carrie* Not only is Harry a top-notch journalist, she was also my college roommate back then.

Harriet: *Smiles softly* Best roommate a girl could have ever asked for.

*When all three women share a calming laugh, soon, music starts to play as it slowly fills the ballroom through the speakers.*

Jack: Hey, my song! Come on, let's pogo!

*And by pogo, the man in an orange jumpsuit actually did so while dragging Maddie along with him as he ran into people.*

Danny: Okay, I'm officially mortified.

Carrie: *Cringes at the sight* Same here, dude…

Harriet: What took so long?

Joyce: Beats us, Hare.

*Later in the evening, both Danny and Carrie were sitting at a table, feeling extremely bored. As they watch a party guest pogo past them, Vlad walks up to the two teens, and places a hand upon Danny's shoulder.*

Vlad: Well, son, you're looking much better. I was wondering… if you could do me a huge favor.

Danny: Oh, sure, Mr. Masters. But call me Danny. 'Son' is what my dad calls me.

Vlad: Oh, yes, yes, of course. Now, could you go to my lab, second door on the right upstairs? There's a present in there for your father that I'd like you to bring down.

Danny: *Gets up* Okay!

Carrie: *Also gets up* Need some help?

Vlad: *Puts hands on Carrie's shoulders* Ah, ah... This only requires Daniel's help, Caroline, seeing as this present belongs to his dear father, and I wouldn't want a wonderful young lady like yourself to break a nail when calming it, now, hmm?

Carrie: *Sighs, sits back down, and crosses arms in annoyance* Whatever.

*However as Vlad watches Danny leave, the man secretly has an evil smirk pressed upon his face, where he then turns and glares at Jack pogoing on the dance floor while Maddie and the other guests watch him; his blue orbs then focus only on the Fenton woman.*

Vlad: *To himself, muttering* Maddie… That lab accident cost me my youthful chance at you, but that's all about to change…

Carrie: *Raises brow in concern* What?

Vlad: *Quickly places on a small smile* Change... the song! I must change the song! *Kneels beside her* Any requests?

Carrie: How 'bout 'Beat It,' Mr. Billionaire.

Vlad: Ah, Caroline… You always know how to woo a man's heart with your kind words.

*Finally, once the man leaves the female halfa alone to gloom in peace, she growls in a low voice at the sight, and this causes her eyes to flash bright blue.*

Meanwhile, finding himself down in Vlad's own laboratory, Danny looks around for the present.*

Danny: *Mutters to himself* Present? I don't see a present.

But what he does see is a framed picture of college-aged Vlad and Maddie on a table with the top-right; he picks it up to examine the cut, which makes him a bit concerned - yet, finding the connected pieces of the puzzle by this photo.*

Danny: Hey! Wait a minute…

He reaches into his jacket and pulls out the torn picture of younger Jack the vultures had and realizes it's the missing corner from the picture.*

Danny: Oh, no… *Backing up* No way.

Just as Danny seemed to figure this out, his ghost sense goes off and he transforms into the phantom version of himself. He looks around defensively, but the two ectopuses from the first battle he and Carrie had fought while Jack was training them, Sam Manson, and Tucker Foley about the lives of being a ghost hunter, suddenly reach down and grab his arms, pulling him up into the air.*

Danny: *Kicks one ectopus away* Let go!

Finally, he pulls the other ectopus down and slams it into the floor.*

Danny: Those ghosts… They were two of the first ghosts me and Carrie fought!

Just then, a familiar voice is heard around somewhere.*

(?): And they're not alone like you are, pup…

Suddenly, out of nowhere, the mysterious figure traps both teens in their own green nets, shocks them through it, and steps out of the shadows to reveal the greatest ghost-hunter he claims to be; Skulker.*

Danny: Skulker?!

After saying his name, Danny breaks free from the net, and successfully kicks Skulker into some large tank-like units.*

Danny: How did you get back in your ecto-skeleton? What are you doing here?

Skulker: All excellent questions… Catch!

He then rolls out a small black cube towards Danny which grows and traps the halfa boy inside a large glowing box.*

Danny: Huh? Hey! I can't phase out of this. It's disrupting my powers!

Skulker: And that's not all it does…

Skulker presses a button on his wrist and the box shocks Danny, causing him to scream in pain and transform back into his human self. In a daze, his head falls forward on the box, but Skulker picks it back up and holds out a glowing green blade from his wrist to Danny's neck.*

Danny: *Chuckles nervously* Uh, the glowing blade is new.

Skulker: *Causally* You like it? I've had some upgrades!

Danny: Boy, if only Carrie were here now, she'd laugh in your face, dude…

Skulker: *Smiles evilly* Oh, don't worry, I've got something in store for your little girlfriend as well. *Pushes blade against Danny's throat* Now…

Just when he could do something so horrific that would possibly give the Fenton boy traumatic memories, a voice is heard from around the distance; and that same calming, fancy voice belongs to Vlad Masters once more.*

Vlad: Enough! *Standing near the lab door* I didn't free you to kill the boy, Skulker! Your work is done.

Both Skulker and Danny share a confused look before the ghost hunter retracts his blade.*

Skulker: Yes, well, I… *Reading from the PDA on his wrist that beeps and starts typing* I've gotta go to the library and check out a book on a gorilla. Again!

Suddenly, his jetpack activates and he flies up, phasing through the ceiling, making the duo remember that it happened during their battle in the zoo with Sampson the purple-back gorilla.*

*Meanwhile, back upstairs where the party is still going on, Carrie groans out of boredom and thinks about finally joining Jazz in the screening room, but however, something's off as she notices Danny hasn't returned to the party with his father's present; though, not only did her partner's absence make her concern, but Vlad's as well.*

Carrie: *Gets up* Does it really take that long to find a present?

*And so, the blue-haired girl runs out of the ballroom and quickly manages to find the stairs that lead down into Vlad's laboratory. Once, she quietly made her way down the steps, she paused as voices were echoing throughout the room, which allowed her to be cautious and become invisible in case someone caught her lurking within where soon Danny's voice was heard.*

Danny: Skulker? The ectopuses? I don't understand!

Vlad: Of course not. You're, what, fourteen? *Walking around Danny's box* Too young to drive and not in college yet? I sent those ghosts, and others, to test your father's skills, dear boy. Imagine my surprise when I find that you and your little girlfriend are the third ghost hybrids his foolishness had created.

Danny: Second?

*After questioning this, Vlad takes a stance and suddenly transforms into his ghostly self, revealing that he is that same vampire-looking ghost from last night's battle; and this causes Carrie to gasp in shock as to what she had just witnessed.*

Danny: You! I'm going ghost! *Nothing happens* Going ghost! *Nothing happens again* Why can't I go ghost?

Vlad: You have the same battle cry, hilarious… I, on the other hand… *Pats the box* have this! A spectral energy neutralizer, designed by Skulker, paid for by me. And as long as you're contained within that box, you're as human as your idiot father.

Danny: Let me out of here!

Vlad: Why? So you can go back to stumbling through your adolescents, desperately trying to get control of your powers? Powers, by the way, that I've had for twenty years.

*While feeling flabbergasted at this age, Vlad is demonstrating his powers, which includes the ghost shields and duplication; but shockingly, invisibility.*

Vlad: I have experience, my child. And the money and power attained through using those powers for personal gain, you see. *Splits into three Vlads* I could train you, teach you everything I know. *Combines back into one* I could even train your beloved partner if you were to inform me of her identity that is… But all you'd have to do, dear boy, is renounce your idiot father.

Danny: Dude, you are one seriously crazed-up fruit loop. And you'd think I'd give away my partner's identity just like that? No way!

*When denying this, Carrie smiles softly at her best friend's loyalty.*

Danny: And as for my father -- that is never going to happen.

Vlad: Yes, well, once your father is out of the way, we'll see how you feel… And just think, how would my Caroline feel when you -- her bestest friend kept a secret that he is half-ghost?

Danny: *Raises eyebrow* Your Caroline?

Vlad: Oh, my, my, she didn't tell you? *Chuckles* Dear boy, I'm Caroline's father…

Danny: *Flabbergasted* What?!

Carrie: *Grimaces* Oh, no…

Vlad: Yes, if you must know… That darling little pest is part of me -- my half, and my blood… And if you ask me, I'm quite lucky to have her sharing the special kind of DNA that runs proudly within my veins.

Danny: *Grimaces a bit* Well, duh, it takes two halves to form a whole human being… We learned this in health class?

Vlad: *Angrily* No, not that kind of DNA! *Sighs through nose and smirks evilly* Well, you shall find out someday, Daniel, but for now, the dance floor with your father awaits.

*Once he practically concludes this, the adult halfa lets out an evil laugh before teleporting away, leaving Danny in an abrupting position until his ghost sense goes off.*

Danny: Huh, still surprised I can do that.

*Soon, Carrie becomes visible and rushes down the rest of the steps to meet her best friend trapped in a cube.*

Carrie: Well, be lucky it's me and not some other ghost freak down here, Fenton.

Danny: *Becomes relieved* Care! Uh… H-How long have you been there?

Carrie: *Sighs* Long enough for you to learn that I'm unfortunately related to Mr. Cheesehead… *Examines the cube* Now, how to find a way to unlock this--

Danny: Wait, don't touch it!

*But just as the raven-haired boy warns her, Carrie's hand slightly touches the large trap, which results in shocking her, earning a small yelp to be heard throughout the laboratory.*

Carrie: *Winces and holds hand* GAH! Why didn't you tell me before I could even place a finger on it!?

Danny: I did!

Carrie: *Groans* Okay, okay... If I were a super-powered billionaire Green Bay Packers crazed-fan, where would I hide the key?

*Back upstairs at the party, Harriet is currently talking to Jack, who doesn't look interested in anything she's saying.*

Harriet: Then I covered the guerrilla uprising in Rumackistan, got an exclusive with the rebel leader that got raves…

*As she talked, Jack puts his chin on his drink glass out of boredom, which causes the Chin woman to notice this.*

Harriet: *Annoyed* Am I boring you, Jack?

Jack: Frankly, yes…

*But not realizing this, Vlad phases up invisibly from the floor behind Jack and overshadows him, allowing his eyes to turn their evil-colored red.*

Vlad: *Overshadowing Jack* So, what do you say we liven up this shindig?

*Jack (controlled by Vlad) suddenly picks up Harriet and throws her, causing the woman to crash into the punch bowl table; Maddie runs up behind her husband as she's followed with Joyce closely behind.*

Maddie: Jack, what's the matter with you?!

Joyce: *Pinches the bridge of her nose* Honestly, Jack, if you were that bored, tell her -- don't throw her!

Vlad(as Jack): *Turns around* Why Maddie, didn't you always know I'd turn on you? That when you chose me you chose wrong? And you, Jocelyn, did it ever occur to you that maybe I've felt my heart burn for your heart's desirable passion?

Joyce: *Raises eyebrow* Excuse me?

*And just as he reaches his hand out angrily above Maddie, feeling so much of his soul being taken advantage of, he begins to restrain.*

Jack: *Trying to regain control* Get out… Get out of me!

*Just then, Harriet walks up behind Jack while he struggles with Vlad for control of his body.*

Harriet: I don't know what's come over you, but when I write about this I swear--

Jack: *Clutches Maddie* Ghost overpowering me. Maddie, run. RUN!

*After managing to warn his beloved wife, Jack floats high above the dance floor as Vlad takes over him once again, causing several party guests to run away, screaming.*

Harriet: He's a ghost? This is the story of the century!

Maddie: *Dragging Harriet away from the scene* Come on! We have to get to the Fenton Family Ghost Assault Vehicle! *Worriedly* I mean, the RV! Joyce, come with us!

Joyce: *Searches for Carrie* Wait, where's Carrie?!

Maddie: She must be with Danny somewhere, don't worry, I'm sure they're fine!

*Although, they were indeed not fine (more specifically Danny) as both halfas were still down in the laboratory, where the Fenton boy is struggling to break free of the box while Carrie is searching for the key in order to free her partner from his box. But her thoughts began to cloud her mind, thinking about how Vlad Masters -- her own father -- could do this to her.*

Carrie: Key… Where to find the key…

*As she mutters this, Danny's blue orbs catch sight of something else, or most likely -- someone else -- roaming right behind them.*

Danny: Uh, Care…?

Carrie: Hang on, I think I might've found it!

*When she says this, the Mayth girl is balancing on a stack of books whereas she's searching through the top shelves until suddenly, out of nowhere the ghost version of the Dairy King floats right in front of him -- the king that once lived in this very castle.*

Dairy King: Well, gosh and golly, it looks like you could use a speck of help there, dontcha' know?

*After hearing this voice, Carrie lets out a yelp as she falls to the ground when having to be startled by this sudden voice.*

Dairy King: *Floats towards Carrie* Oh, sweet heavens! *Helps her up* Are you alright, little one?

Carrie: *Holds head and looks up shocked by the king's sight* Uh, okay, now this just got even freakier…

Danny: *Relieved* Hey, you're the Dairy King! *Worried again* Oh, great. What are you gonna do? Suffocate us with Limburger? Strangle us with Swiss?! Or--

Carrie: Hey. You maybe trapped in that cube, Fenton, *Gets into fighting stance* but don't worry, *Goes ghost* I'm not!

Dairy King: Haha... Oh, no need for violence when it comes to me, dear child!

*Without saying another word, the Dairy King uses his scepter to press the 'Open' button on the side of the box, which apparently frees Danny and allows it to return into the same smaller cube state.*

Carrie: *Facepalms* A button… Should've known!

Danny: Let me go? *Kicks cubes out of the way* Well, thank you! But, why?

Dairy King: Well, not all ghosts are evil, right? Some of us just want to be left alone there, dontcha' know?

Carrie: *Gazes at the ground* I guess we kind of docha' know…

Danny: Hey, will you help us fight Plasmius?

Carrie: *Hits fist in palm* Yeah, I mean, seriously, the man could really use a good pounding from all three of us if you ask me.

Dairy King: I'm the Dairy King, kiddos. Kings don't fight. They send other people to fight for 'em. That's Royalty 101 there, dontcha know? *While phasing up out of the lab* Try the Gouda! It's dairy fresh!

*As Danny smiles at the king of delicious ice cream, he notices Carrie's glaze is still staring at the floor.*

Danny: *Places hand on her shoulder* Hey, uh, you alright?

Carrie: *Sighs* Not really… *Looks up* I can't believe it. After all these years, Vlad -- my own father has been part ghost this entire time… I just, how do I comprehend this? And when he said that I have his special kind of DNA running through my veins, w-what does that even mean? I-Is it bad? Is it--?

Danny: *Grabs her shoulders* Hey, hey! Calm down…

*Even though he encourages Carrie to cope herself, Danny doesn't exactly know how to respond to these types of things; especially when it involves his best friend -- his partner in crime. So he rubs the back of his neck nervously, and tries to find some comforting words to share, but all he could think was how a terrible father would do this to his own daughter.*

Danny: *Clears throat* Uh, look, I don't know much about your relationship with him, and that's something I should respect, but for right now, that guy isn't your dad, he's someone willing to try and revoke my own dad because of his creepy obsession with my mom…

Carrie: *Exhales a deep breath and shudders* Don't remind me, my poor mom has suffered enough from his shenanigans.

Danny: *Chuckles softly* Anyways… That guy -- Vlad -- he isn't what you'd think he would be when we first got here, so what do you say?

Carrie: *Glances up at the wall in front of her* You know what… You're right. That guy isn't my dad. He's just an evil, dictating ghost, and we use our ghost powers for good. Let's do it! *Punches fist in hand* ...Plus, he is well overdue for a two-timing lecture.

Danny: Actually, maybe you oughta' leave this thing to me... Since he thinks I came alone on this vacation as Danny Phantom, and obviously, we wouldn't want you to expose yourself as my partner, that happens to be his kid now, right?

Carrie: *Nods* Oh, good point!

*He smiles at his best friend's confidence and understanding as she reverts back to her human self until that smile disappears when hearing the voice of his mother.*

Maddie: Jack!

Danny: *Alarmed* Dad! *Goes ghost* C'mon, we have to hurry!

Carrie: Right!

*And so, the Phantom boy grabs Carrie, turns them both intangible, and flies them up and through the ceiling where a battle between their two fathers is awaiting.*

*Now, back upstairs, Maddie, Harriet, and Joyce get into the GAV outside of the mansion whereas this gives the Chin woman time for an interview as her job being a journalist.*

Harriet: *Holding a record towards Maddie* So, Maddie, when did you first realize your husband was a monster bent on destroying his smarter, more successful, and better-dressed peers?

Maddie: What are you talking about? That jumpsuit is incredibly stylish.

Joyce: *Scoffs and pats Maddie's shoulder* Sorry, Mads, but… it isn't in this kind of generation.

*Not even ready to pick a fight with the Mayth woman, Maddie drives the GAV straight into Vlad's mansion, passing shocked guests and running into some items. She then passes by the screening room, which causes her daughter, Jazz -- to peek her head out the door.*

Jazz: *Sighs* I'm guessing we won't be invited back…

*Meanwhile, back on the dance floor, several guests are running out of the room, screaming, where one man jumps out of a window, fleeing away from Jack Fenton (who is still overshadowed by Vlad) throwing tables around while flying, and scaring people.*

Vlad(as Jack): If you live to tell the tale, remember that big, fat *Hits man* Jack Fenton did this to you!

Danny: Guess again, cheesehead.

*Watching her partner have a go at this, Carrie smiles as she watches Danny fly, then turns intangible, and flies through Jack's body, knocking a screaming Vlad out of his father, and phasing them both through a wall, allowing Jack to fall to the floor.*

Jack: *Angrily* NOBODY USES JACK FENTON AS A HUMAN MEAT PUPPET!

*Soon, finding herself standing in the middle of the floor, a voice caught Carrie's ears from somewhere around the distance.*

Joyce: Carrie!

After hearing the voice of her beloved mother, Carrie looks to see that she, Maddie, and Harriet were coped up in the GAV -- having the side door open for the teen to join them in order of keeping her safe from this chaos.*

Carrie: Mom!

*She runs and finally jumps into the vehicle where she is instantly grasped in by Joyce's bear hugs.*

Joyce: Oh, I was so worried!

Maddie: *Glances back at Carrie* Carrie, was Danny by any chance with you?

Carrie: *Side eyes* Oh, y-yeah, he was, he was! But don't worry, he's hiding! Yeah, and I'm sure he joined Jazz in the screen room, so he'll be fine!

*After coming up with a simple excuse, the blue-haired girl smiles innocently, hoping the female Fenton would buy it, (and luckily she did) while speaking of her son, Danny is now phasing into Vlad's library with the ghost Masters himself and knocks him in there. Next, he tries to punch Vlad, but the adult halfa swiftly kicks him away.*

Vlad: Daniel, stop… Think about the things I could show you, the doors I could open for you. You, Danny Phantom, and I, Vlad Plasmius… Together, we could rule. And think, you could even win the heart of dear Caroline as well.

Danny: Forget it, pal. Your money can't buy my mom, it can't buy the Packers, it can't seriously buy Carrie, and it can't buy me!

*He fires an ecto-blast at Vlad who easily absorbs it with one hand, then shoots it back at Danny with the other. Seeing the blast coming towards him, Danny finally creates a shield around himself to block the attack.*

Danny: *Pointing* I know who you are. I'll tell my father. I'll tell Carrie and Joyce. I'll tell everyone!

Vlad: And so will I… Honestly, if you expose me, you expose yourself.

*Just then, honking from the GAV is heard, and this makes Danny turn towards the noise.*

Danny: Huh?

*Suddenly, the GAV bursts through the wall of the library, with a non-possessed Jack Fenton driving it now, causing both Danny and Vlad to fly out of its path before it could crash into them.*

Vlad: Mind if I cut in?

*However, having other plans, the hybrid adult becomes intangible, phases his hands down through the top of the GAV, and pulls Maddie out of the middle seat, causing both Mayths and Harriet to gasp.*

Maddie: Let go of me!

*As they both turn tangible again, Vlad owns a smug look across his face due to holding the woman of his dreams.*

Vlad: Never again, woman.

*Danny then looks up at the scene to see Jack quickly get out of the GAV and chase after Vlad who flies away with Maddie in his grasp.*

Jack: Maddie!

*Just then, Danny turns intangible and phases into the GAV to sit in the driver's seat. As he tries messing around with the gear shift, this puts an excited expression upon Harriet's face while Joyce is slightly scared by this site, leaving Carrie to scoff and smirk, knowing that it's the invisible Phantom boy himself in the seat.*

Danny: Oh, great… It's a stick.

Harriet: *Excitedly* And I wasn't going to come to this thing! Ha!

Joyce: You and me both, sister.

*Finally, Danny gets the GAV to move and drives it towards Jack, who is looking up at his wife as the poor woman is being dangled by her foot by Vlad up in the air.*

Carrie: Oh, no!

Maddie: Jack, look out! The RV!

*After hearing the warning from his beloved wife, Jack dives out of the vehicle's way before it could crash into him.*

Danny: Sorry, Dad. I've got one shot at this…

*The ghost boy swerves the GAV to a stop almost just below Vlad and Maddie, then presses a button and soon, a laser cannon appears out of the top of the vehicle while the steering wheel converts into a weapons-tracker battle mode for him to use.

Danny first fires an 'energy beam' option at the Plasmius man, who knocks it away. He then shoots 'lightning' at him, but Vlad dodges it again, by allowing it to phase through him. Finally, this caused Carrie to grow irritated at her so-called father's quick reaction towards Danny's attack methods.*

Carrie: *Groans* Alright! *Breaks out of Joyce's hold* Let me at him!

Joyce: *Holds hand out* Care! Don't touch anything, we don't know what could happen if one wrong button is pushed!

*Not even bothering to listen to her mother, Carrie's green orbs spot a helpful button and without hesitation, she presses the 'ectoplasmic goo' option, where luckily, it manages to hit Vlad as he recoils in disgust and knocks him back, causing him to drop Maddie, which allows Danny to quickly phase out of the GAV, then overshadow Jack, and use his father to thankfully catch the female Fenton.*

Maddie: Jack! You did it!

Danny: *Overshadowing Jack* It was nothing, Mom-- uh, Maddie. Sure, heh, Maddie. You make sure Harry, Joyce, and Carrie are okay… *Sets Maddie down* while I finish this.

*And she does so, the auburn-haired woman runs towards the GAV while Danny, (still overshadowing Jack) lifts a goo-covered Vlad up off the ground.*

Danny(as Jack): How's it going, V-Man?

Vlad: *Mocking* Ooh, you've overshadowed Jack. Ooh, I'm so scared. Now what's next? A card trick?

Danny: Listen to me. I swear I'll walk out of my dad right now and expose us both, unless you agree to a truce.

Vlad: You're buffing.

Danny: I'm not… Believe me, I'm not.

Vlad: *Charges pink ecto-ray in hands* We shall see, dear boy.

*But before Vlad could blast Jack Fenton (who's overshadowed by his son) away, a voice echoed from the distance, instantly pulling him out of this state.*

Carrie: DAD, STOP!

*Once hearing the Mayth girl say this, the two look to see her standing behind them, owning a look filled with sadness and hatred.*

Carrie: *Whispers softly* Why?

*Seeing as she had used 'dad' for the call, Vlad couldn't believe his own daughter had somehow recognized his appearance -- at first, he thought, trying to talk his way out of this would be easier, but now, he decided to stop hiding from the girl, and floated down in front of her.*

Vlad: Oh, my darling, Caroline… There are things I waited to make sure you would understand, but after all these years, I see there is no reason to wait…

Carrie: Wait for… what?

Vlad: To tell you the truth… You see, after my horrific accident, I thought my life was scattered forever, but the day I met your mother; something about her changed my perspective of those who aren't meant to the things they commit… *Sighs and puts a hand on his hand in shame* I tried to push her away, I wanted nothing to do with her, but sadly, my feelings gave in, and with those feelings…

*As he told the story, Carrie's eyes were filled with tears, she didn't want to listen to this, but unfortunately, the man standing right before her eyes; this was him -- this was her father.*

Vlad: After the accident I swore never to have children, because I couldn't stand to put them through this kind of suffering, until you came along. At first, it had given me pride and joy, but sadly, it made me realize that what you have coursing through your veins -- if you were to unlock it, it'll drain what's left of your humanity…

Carrie: *Tear strolls down* B-But, if you've been part ghost after all these years, then…

Vlad: Please, forgive me for what I've given you, Caroline… For what I'm doing right at this very moment, is something I should've done a long time ago… Because this boy… *Gestures to Danny* his own damned father -- took away the love of my life; for a long time, my world was shattered… *Gazes into Carrie's eyes* Caroline, if you were to join me, I can help you -- help you unleash the power within you, and we can do so much together. *Holds hand out* All you have to do is say: yes

*Staying quiet the entire time, Danny (who is still overshadowing Jack) was watching from the sidelines had mixed feelings, he didn't know how to process, and much like Carrie where the blue-haired teen's eyes gazed down at the ground again and wiped her tears away, thinking about how this could go; she could stand beside Danny and help him fight off the evil ghosts that roam upon their world, or… She could rule their world side by side with an evil-minded spirit known as her father.*

Danny: *Mutters* C'mon, Care…

*Finally, Carrie slowly walks closer to her father, now owning a brave, strong look upon her face. She hesitated for a moment before placing her hand in his, practically shaking it; and this caused Danny to feel slightly betrayed by this.*

Danny: *Whispers* No.

Carrie: *Lets out a shaking breath and looks down* I love you, Dad…

*And suddenly, with the use of her other hand, Carrie blasts a blue ectoplasmic ray at Vlad, causing him to yell in pain, where she sends the adult halfa back towards Danny, which allows the Phantom boy grab hold of Vlad, and hold him by his collars.*

Danny(as Jack): Better you didn't see that coming, huh?

Vlad: *Winces* How-how can this be?!

Danny(as Jack): Still think I'm bluffing, Plasmius?

Vlad: On the contrary, yes!

Danny(as Jack): *Gets closer to his face* No, I'm not. My parents will accept me, no matter what. Carrie's mom will accept her, no matter what, too. Even if she is related to some evil freak like you. But think… if I expose you… *Smirks* Well, what would my mom think of you?

*Once this is said, Vlad makes a worried face at the thought of Maddie's reaction, which obviously knows how well that might go seeing as he's already (slightly) shown his creepy obsession with her.*

Danny(as Jack): *Sets Vlad down* You'll be miserable and alone for the rest of your life, unless you call a truce.

Vlad: Using your opponent's weaknesses against him. I am teaching you something after all. Very well. Truce… But I'm desperate to know when Caroline had suddenly managed to unlock her power.

*Noticing Carrie is staying quiet, Danny decides to answer.*

Danny: Oh, you'll learn soon enough, cheesehead.

Vlad: *Sighs* Well, then, eventually, you two will join me by choice, you and your mother, Daniel. But for now… *Clears throat and floats up dramatically in the air* Curse you, Jack Fenton! Your world-renowned expertise of all things ghosts has defeated me! *To Carrie* And maybe, if you were to join me once a while for a nice visitation, that would be simply divine, now, wouldn't it, darling?

*After exchanging this offer, if the two teens wanted to keep their ghost powers a secret, Carrie unfortunately seemed to have no other choice, but to agree to this instead of possibly having her mother deal with being charged in court instead of battling against it.*

Vlad: *Smiles evilly to Danny* Until next time, son...

*And with a dramatic finish, Vlad screams as he dissipates into a green mist until he disappears, which allows Danny to then phase out of Jack's body and fly off with Carrie following, leaving Maddie, Harriet, and Joyce to run up beside Jack.*

Harriet: *Speaks into recorder* World-renowned expertise! Outstanding!

Maddie: Jack! I have never seen you like this! You beat that ghost all the way to Kenosha!

Joyce: *Pats his back* Yeah, who knew you had it in you, it even felt like a superhero movie, might I add.

Jack: I did? Aw, heck, I'm just doing my job.

*The two ghost hunters share a loving hug as they smile.*

Harriet: And mine! Jack, for all the years I thought you were a crackpot, I sort of apologize.

*While the four adults chatted, Danny, now a human, was about to join his parents' side until he noticed Carrie hadn't said another word and felt slightly off with how to process this entire event.*

Danny: Hey, uh, I know I asked this already, but you alright, Care?

Carrie: *Sighs* Honestly, after finding out that I was sort of made by mistake, how do you think I feel?

Danny: Terrible. But when you blasted him… That must've taken guts to do it.

Carrie: *Looks down at hand* Yeah… *Clenches it* And don't worry, I'll go along with whatever plan you decide… We're in this together, and I've got your back.

Danny: *Puts hand on her shoulder* Same here.

*They share a kind hug and finally decide to join their parents, where Harriet finally wraps up her small interview.*

Harriet: Ghosts! This story will make your career -- and mine!

Joyce: *Pats her shoulder* Good luck with this, Hare.

*However, later that night, the two families were in the GAV, driving away from Vlad Masters' mansion, Danny is sitting in the passenger seat while Jack drives as the three girls in the back; Jazz is lying on a bed in the back while Carrie is soundly asleep beside her whereas Maddie sleeps in the other across from them, leaving Joyce to be seated on the ground beside the bed her daughter is in, typing on her laptop.*

Danny: I can't believe they fired Harry.

Jazz: Of course they fired her. She tried to file some crackpot story about ghosts. It's the Milwaukee Journal, *Turns over to go to sleep* not the National Enquirer.

Jack: I can't believe Harry blames me. And Vlad was so mad, he didn't even say goodbye. *Depressed* And we were all such great chums in college…

Joyce: *Scoffs* If you say so, Jackson…

Danny: Oh, whatever. Who cares what you were when you were younger? It's who you grew into that makes you who you are.

Jack: You think?

Danny: Hey, if you can cause that much damage in college, and still turn out to be this cool, ghost-butt-kicking adult, well, maybe there's hope for me yet.

Jack: *Puts arm around Danny's shoulder* Thanks, son… But your curfew is still ten.

Danny: Oh, man!

*The GAV drives past a sign reading, 'Now Leaving Wisconsin,' and the lights above the sign flicker off. And now, this could give them a long time to process what kind of reunion this was for every family member -- especially the Mayths.*
