Season 4 - Episode 9 - during 'Wish You Were Here'
August 1, 2015
He unconsciously stood as close to her as possible throughout the day. Sometimes it wasn't unconscious.
He unconsciously smiled a little too long at her, and she, him … after he unconsciously volunteered to let Gustavo stay at his place.
He wondered if he would have offered his place, if not for her. For that smile. God, he would do anything for that smile.
He did regret it about two minutes later when he realized that he'd have to stay at home tonight … he would not leave this random guy in his house, no matter how much Sharon loved Rusty … Gustavo was a stranger. He kicked himself for this, but it was the nice thing to do.
She was so … proud of him, she wondered if that was the right word to describe how she felt when he offered his place to Gustavo for a night or two … she hoped not more. Pride, admiration, love, definitely love. His smile to her after, melted her heart, she kicked herself for how long the smile lasted, but it was only Andrea in the room, and she was so grateful to her for not letting them continue. She was sure that she'd get a call or text later.
Interviewing the ex-wife of their victim, who apparently still 'loved his wife', with Andy … just hearing his voice, she loved it. Was very happy that she could maintain her focus though, she could not be distracted by him. It was a worry for her because when they were together after work, he was the only person that could truly make her forget about work. She did not usually like forgetting about it, honestly, but she didn't miss it or feel guilty when she was with him. She was just relieved it didn't happen here.
She watched him the rest of the day, secretly disappointed that he'd offered a place for Gustavo … she'd miss him tonight, and tomorrow morning, and the next three days because she and Rusty were headed to see Ricky for two nights.
Before they all left for the day, Sharon decided that she definitely needed to have some alone time with him, so she made sure to close her blinds a little early and motion for Andy to go in when he could. He leaned against her desk and waited.
She came in shortly after and shut the door behind her, giving them privacy finally.
"You're wonderful." She hugged him immediately.
"I'm an idiot."
She giggled.
"Seriously, I wasn't thinking!"
"It's nice of you, Andy."
"Stay with me tonight?"
She shook her head. "We have to be able to live without each other for a bit."
"But you'll call me? Talk for hours, though."
"I'll call you when I can. You'll be cooking and getting to know Gus and I need to speak with Rusty about everything."
He kissed her slowly.
"Remember when we only hugged ... and for how many years, Andy?"
"That was stupid."
"Shut up."
"I'm going to miss you so much."
"You'll be okay." She nuzzled into her spot against his neck.
He whined, "Just say 'bye' and push me out the door," he moved his lips down to find hers.
"Bye, Sweetheart," she whispered into a kiss and pulled back, placing her hands on his shoulders and turning him toward the door.
He groaned, "Bye, Beautiful." He let her push him out, smiling.
"Hi Andy," she mumbled sadly into the phone. It had been five hours. She felt ridiculous … missing him this much.
"Hi. I miss you even more than I thought I would ... which is a lot." He'd just said goodnight to Gus and made it to his bedroom. They cooked dinner together and talked about what Gus wanted to talk about … Andy tried to get as much info as possible, but really, he just wanted to listen.
"I miss you, too, and I don't like it."
"I'm struggling over here."
"Hmmmm."
"I miss your voice."
"Well here it is."
"Mmmmm. I miss your face, but I have pictures in my phone."
"Oh, I'll have to see them … Andy … what pictures do you have of me?"
"Just us that we've taken, selfies … maybe four or five of you sleeping."
"Mmmmm."
"You're so beautiful."
She smiled. "I miss your face, and I only have two photos of you sleeping."
"Can I swing by before work in the morning? Quickie?"
"I'm going to go with a 'no' on that one. We have to be able to live without touching for more than a day."
"No we don't."
"Yes, Andy."
"Bullshit!"
"You in bed?"
"Almost, you?"
"Mmmmhmmm."
"What are you wearing?"
She grinned, closing her eyes.
Season 5 - Episode 4 - after 'Skin Deep'

"I want to cry." He pouted. He'd been pouting for hours.
She hugged him tighter into her. They were lying on the couch watching t.v. after their upsetting day hearing that black mold ruined their chance at the house. She liked the house a lot but was okay with losing it. He was more upset than she was.
He was nearly laying on top of her, cuddling into her as her hands softly ran through his hair and down his back.
"I'm sorry, Andy," she whispered and kissed his head.
"Me, too."
She smiled. "My poor baby," she leaned down a bit to kiss his forehead.
He moaned.
"I love you, Andy … we'll find something …"
"Mmmmhmmm."
"Hey, look at me," she ordered.
He obeyed. "You're so beautiful." He couldn't stop telling her.
She smiled, "Thank you, Andy. Just move in here please …"
"Hmmm."
"I'm serious."
"I have so much stuff."
"Storage … we could move mine with yours into a bigger unit … until we find a house."
"Hmmm."
"Please …"
"You want me to move in here? Stop looking for houses?"
"Yes." She ran her hand soothingly on his face and through his hair. "We'll still look, but not rush it."
"Yeah? You sure?"
"I just want you here, home."
He smiled.
"I love you." She returned the smile.
He didn't deserve her.
"Sharon, you sure?"
"Yes."
"I'm sorry I've been so mopey."
"I love you mopey."
"Hmmm."
"I love you every way I can get you, honey."
"Luckiest man alive," he mumbled and kissed her. "Bed, please?"
"Mmmhmm," she grinned excitedly and pushed him up.
Season 4 - Episode 7 - before 'Targets of Opportunity'
July 19, 2015
'Come on up.' She texted.
'Finally!' He thought. There was no way he'd text that. It was almost eleven, he was exhausted. Rusty took forever to go to his room. Patience, he told himself.
'On my way, love.' He texted. They'd only been together for two weeks now. He grinned to himself as he walked to the elevator, overnight bag in hand. Forget driving home in the morning … they were still figuring out the sneaking around part.
The elevator opened up to her floor, to her, standing there waiting for him, smiling. She was wearing his t-shirt he'd left and was in socks. He grinned. They met in the middle and kissed for a bit. She seemed so needy. He loved this Sharon so very much. He kicked himself for the thought … he loved all of her equally, everywhere, but … this …
Ding.
The elevator interrupted probably the best kiss he'd ever had. He growled and slowly moved them out of the doorway.
"Mmmmmm, I've missed you so much." She wrapped her arms around his waist tightly and snuggled into his chest.
He kissed her head, walking them down the hallway to her door, shuffling slowly because she was walking backwards.
Once to the door, she released him and smiled up. "Hi."
"Hi." He kissed her and quietly opened the door.
He went quickly to her room as she locked the door and turned off the lights, picking some things up around the living room and kitchen. She then quickly went to her room, where he had just finished changing into his pajamas, having already been home and showered.
"I'm telling Taylor about us tomorrow." She whispered after she wrapped her arms around him from behind.
He took in a deep breath. "You're sure you want to? You'll kinda be stuck with me for a bit … no turning back …"
She simply hummed against him.
"Do you want me to be there with you?"
"Do you want to be there?" She let go and walked around him.
"I don't know. Whatever you're the most comfortable with." She hugged him.
"I love you." She knew that he didn't want to be there.
"I'm not the biggest fan of Taylor to begin with. I love you, though."
"Russell's fine …" she rolled her eyes. "However, even as Assistant Chief, he talks too much, so … no one has to know just how into each other we really are …" she kissed him, "we need to discuss PDA, too, some …"
"With Taylor?!"
"No!" She smiled, "Oh my gosh, no."
"Good." He laughed. "Do we need to discuss that now?" He walked them over to the bed, kissed her and got in.
She stood there just watching. "No, we need sleep."
He rolled his eyes. "Rusty should have an 8 p.m. bedtime."
"Andy." She warned, grinning as she got on her side because she had a side now.
He grunted.
"I love you." She cuddled in close, her fingers lightly drifting over his face as she looked at him, ran them slowly through his hair, down his chest. She loved touching him. She loved his eyes. She loved that stupid grin he had sometimes. She loved the sexy grin he had more of the times.
"I love you. I'm so tired." His eyes had been closed for a while, loving her hands in his hair.
She kissed his lips. "Sleep." She turned around and backed up a bit, his hand running down her side and hip and ass and back up as she grinned. She interlaced their fingers and brought his arm around her waist, keeping their hands together, settling into her pillow.
"This is weird."
"What?"
"This is the first time we've just gone to sleep."
"Hmmmm," she giggled, "... it will definitely not be the last."
"True," he squeezed her closer, "still weird. What color you wearing tomorrow?"
"Ummm," she thought, "Red."
Some nights, he asks, some mornings, she picks it out for him, or the other way around, and sometimes they leave it up to fate. It was just something they figured they could have for just themselves while at work and unable to talk or touch or hug or kiss. Just matching her made him happy.
"You okay with just going to sleep, right?"
"Well of course, you shouldn't even ask," he kissed her neck and up, settling in on the pillow, moving her hair out of the way a bit, "... you know that I just need you, here … but even then, Sharon, we can't spend every night together … can we?"
"Hmmm, no, I guess not."
He squeezed her closer and started drifting. "Wouldn't mind it…"
"Sleep," she whispered, squeezing his hand. "Morning sex is the best, anyway."
"Hmmmm."
She didn't get morning sex. She didn't even get to 1 a.m., her phone sounded and she answered.
It was Provenza. Two officers killed. He sounded worried. Said he'd text the address. She hung up and reached over. Andy wasn't here. She looked for a light in the bathroom.
"Andy?" she whispered. His things were gone. She flicked on the lamp. No note. Two officers killed. Her mind went to a very dark place.
She picked her phone back up.
'Hey.' She texted.
'Hey. I'm sorry.'
'You ok?'
'Yes. We're here at the scene.'
'I'll be there in a bit.'
He called her as he stepped away from the others.
"Hey, I'm sorry for-"
"You didn't even leave a note."
"I'm sorry, I wasn't-"
"No problem. I have to get ready. We will need to talk about it later, though. I was worried, Andy. I love you."
"I love you." His heart hurt.
Shit.
